Mitchell’s POV

I opened my eyes weakly and everything that had just happened replayed in my head. I couldn’t help the tears that rolled down my cheeks as I thought about how I would have been raped if Kevin hadn’t saved me.

I never would have imagined Ronald to be that kind of guy. He knows I’m married and we’re not even close to each other, yet he kidnapped me and tried to force himself on me?

He must have been planning this for a long time now because there’s no way he could have succeeded at once.

I have so many guards following me so it will be difficult for anyone to hurt me not to talk of kidnapping me.

What if the reason why he approached me the first time was because of this? Some men are truly monsters in this world. It’s rare to find a cool headed guy like Chris.

“You’re awake?” I heard Kevin’s voice and that was when I realized I was not in my house

Where is this place and what am I doing here? Since Kevin brought me here, I can trust him right?

“Yes, I’m awake. Thank you for saving me” I said softly

“It’s nothing! I’m glad I was able to help” he said with a smile

“Where is this place?” I asked looking around

“It’s my mansion. This is your first time here right?” he asked

“Yes, it’s my first time” I nodded

“Should I show you around then?” he asked and stood up

I wanted to turn him down but seeing how much he has helped me so far, I decided to go with him. Once he’s done showing me around, I’ll definitely return home.

He took me to every part of the house like he promised and I realized how big it was. This mansion must have cost a fortune and I hope I get to live in a bigger house with my husband someday.

“Now that we’re done looking around, can I go home?” I asked with a smile

“Home? Not yet. You should eat something first before leaving” he said

“But I’m not hungry, I just want to return home” I mumbled

“Just eat something okay? Even if it’s little. As long as you eat something, then it’s fine” he said

“Alright then, let’s go”

I just have to eat something right? Once I’m done eating, I can return to the mansion. Instead of returning to the mansion, I will go to Chris. I’m still feeling scared from what happened at Ronald’s mansion.

Kevin served my food for me with a smile and I soon started eating. I sipped the apple juice he gave me slowly until I was filled.

“Are you okay with the food?” he asked

“Yes” I answered with a smile

I tried standing up but I started feeling dizzy. I was trying so hærd to keep my eyes open but it seemed like the most impossible thing to do.

What is happening to me? Is there something wrong with the food? It couldn’t be that….I was drugged right? No! Kevin will never do that to me.

There’s no way Kevin will ever drug me. He saved me from the hands of Ronald so why will he also want to do the same thing?

I suddenly felt myself being lifted and I realized I was in the arms of Kevin. He took me up the stairs and dropped me on the bed in this room.

Before I knew what was going on, he already took his clothes off and came to me in the bed. I was still struggling to keep my eyes open so I could barely see him.

He slowly started taking off my clothes until I was left in just my bra and panties. I think that made the drug start wearing off slowly and hot tears rolled down my cheeks.

What have I ever done to deserve this? First, it was Ronald and now Kevin? I didn’t offend them in anyway so why are they doing this to me?

I wanted my first night to be with Chris but now, Kevin is going to be my first. Once this is over, I’m going to take my life and it would be like this never happened.

I shut my eyes tightly as I felt his l-ips on mine. He touched every inch of my body and I almost died from feeling disgusted.

When I felt his hands on the hook of my bra, I lost all hope and decided to just wait until it is over.

Chris POV

After Mitchell left for the agency this morning, I started feeling uneasy. It didn’t even just start today. I’ve been feeling restless for a while now and I don’t understand why.

I got dressed for work and got into my car, singing along to the song I was playing as I drove to the company.

I don’t really have much to do today so I’ll leave during lunch and go to one of my own company to attend a meeting with the shareholders.

When it was lunch time, I informed Mr. Williams about it and he permitted me to leave. I didn’t tell him about my company though. The first person that I plan to tell is Mitchell.

On my way to the company, I checked the time and realized Mitchell must also be having lunch now. She calls me during lunch most of the time and even specifically told me that she’s going to call me this afternoon.

Why hasn’t she called yet? Could it be that she has forgotten already?

The meeting will be starting soon so I can’t call her now. I’m going to call her as soon as the meeting is over.

I was done with the meeting in about forty-five minutes and I instantly called Mitchell. I called her thrice but she didn’t answer my call and I began to worry.

I called the head of her bodyguards but he also didn’t pick the call. What exactly is going on?

I got into my car and drove to the agency to check for myself if she’s doing okay.

When I got there, I was directed to the Manager’s office and he welcomed me warmly.

“I’m here to see Mitchell sir” I told him

“Mitchell? I think Crystal told me she wasn’t around today. I also found it weird but I decided to give her space since I had no idea of what happened.

She’s never been absent before so I decided I was going to ask her tomorrow. Isn’t she at home?” he asked

“At home? She left for the agency this morning and I’ve not been able to reach her since then so I came here. You mean you never saw her today?” I asked

“I didn’t see her and Crystal didn’t either” he answered

“Alright sir! Thanks for your time!”

If Mitchell is not here, where can she possibly be? I hurriedly dialed Mr. Williams contact as I drove to Kathryn’s mansion.

“Dad! I don’t know what happened but I’m unable to find Mitchell. She left for the agency this morning and I was unable to get through to her.

I just went to the agency now and the manager said she never came here. I even caller her bodyguard but no one answered the call. I’m really scared right now” I panicked

“D…don’t be scared! I’ll call the detective now” he said and ended the call

I increased my driving speed to the highest and arrived at Kathryn’s mansion in no time. I didn’t even turn off the ignition before going in.

Kathryn seemed to be going out too because she was dressed and was also walking towards the parking lot.

“Where is Mitchell? What have you done to my wife?!!” I s¢ræmed at her

“What are you talking about? I know I offended you in the past but it doesn’t mean I’ll just let you shout at me for no reason” she snapped

“You still have the guts to talk to me like this? What did you do to Mitchell?” I asked again

“Mitchell? Did something happen to her? Why will I even do something to Mitchell? I’ve been at home since and I’m just going out now, I’ve not even gone to the agency today” she said confusedly

If it’s not Mitchell, who could it be then? I got back into my car and drove to the mansion.

I just remembered that I got a necklace for Mitchell and I placed a tracker in it but I’ve not set it up since then.

I called for someone who can set it up and we both went to the mansion. He tracked her location and found her about two hours later but the location started changing.

After some minutes, it finally stopped again and I was told she was at Kevin’s mansion. What would she be doing at Kevin’s mansion? Did she go there on her own accord?

The only way to find out is by going to Kevin’s mansion myself. I called my bodyguards and even called Mr. Williams bodyguards too. Together, we all left for Kevin’s mansion and arrived there in no time.

When we got to his mansion, the men at the entrance stopped us. At first, they didn’t even let us into the gate but later on, we managed to go in.

We met so many guys with dangerous weapons along the way but the guards were well trained so it wasn’t too hærd to defeat the men.

I made my way to the main bedroom and there, I saw Kevin hovering over Mitchell. He had his hands at her back and I figured he was trying to unhook her bra.

How can Kevin stoop so low to the extent of forcing himself on a lady? The anger I felt in me was too much that I didn’t think twice before hitting his stomach.

He gr0-ned in pain while I used that moment to cover Mitchell with the duvet. She was obviously in shock and looked so helpless that I just wanted to murder Kevin with my own two hands.

He charged at me but the anger I felt overwhelmed me and I beat him to a pulp. He seems quite strong though but if I’m angry, there’s nothing I can’t do.

I carried Mitchell in my arms and descended the stairs. When I got to the sitting room, all the guards were surrounded already. It looks like Kevin’s men called for backup because they were now twice the size they were before.

I stared at Mitchell in my arms and took my eyes back to them. If I don’t get Mitchell to the hospital soon, I don’t know what might happen to her.

“I don’t have time for this right now. Let me take Mitchell to the hospital first and I’ll return here to settle scores with you and your boss” I said

“This is our boss’s mansion and you don’t get to call the shot here. Put her down because she won’t be leaving this place unless our boss asks us to let her go” one of them said

It looks like they aren’t willing to listen to me. No matter what I say or do, they won’t stop and I don’t want to put Mitchell down.

I walked down the stairs and was now in their midst alongside the guards.

“Listen carefully to what I’m about to say” I said to the guard beside me

“I’m going to hand Mitchell over to you at the count of five. Once I do that, I will create a path for you. Get her out of here and take her to the hospital. The security around her must be very tight and you must not leave her side for any reason whatsoever until I arrive. Do you have a car key with you?” I asked

“Yes sir, I do” he answered

“Good! One….two…..three…..four……..five!”

I handed Mitchell over to him and pushed the men out of the way, creating a straight line. The guard ran as fast as he could out of the mansion and I sighed in relief.

As soon as I turned around, I saw the guy that had spoken up earlier, pointing a gun at the guard who had Mitchell in his hands.

I quickly got in the way and took the gun on my shoulder instead. No matter what happens, Mitchell has to get out of here safe and sound.
