Fear is something that I haven’t crossed paths with ever since I was a kid. I’ve always believed that I was unstoppable but life opened my eyes and showed me I was nothing more than a mere insect.
The aftermath of my battle with Evlyn hurt my pride a lot and that feeling of losing and humiliation left me empty and broken. What pained me the most was that I was scared, it burned my heart so much that I didn’t want to admit it that I lose. I felt terrible and angry that I isolated myself from everything and everyone I cared about.
For days, I confined myself to my bedroom feeling empty and angry. Throughout this time I was just completely and utterly silent. I barely eat or sleep but I did bath everyday not just to maintain my personal hygiene but to also get my mind off my worries even if it’s just for a while.
Although I tried to forget, I couldn’t possibly get over my ordeal with Evlyn. As much as I wanted to get back at her, I knew it would be futile to face her again. It hurts for me to admit it but I’m no where near Evlyn’s level. She’s too powerful and experienced for me to defeat her but living with what she did to me was another level of torture. I couldn’t possibly let what she did to me slide. I would never be the same if I didn’t exact the scare she gave me.
Before long, my itch to exact vengeance on Evlyn soon turned into desperation which made me began to think of crazy things. Evlyn told me that I was too weak and that my humanity was the cause of it, she further said that for me to defeat her I had to give myself to the darkness, lose my humanity and then join hands with the devil before I could achieve that. I soon began to consider what she told me but before I could do something that I would regret, something unbelievable occurred.
One night as everyone was asleep, I quietly cleared my room and created an open space . After that, I drew a large devil’s triangle in the middle of my room, removed all of my clothes and then sat in the middle of it naked trying to conjure up a dark spell. Just as I was about to began conjuring the spell, my grandmother’s spirit mysteriously appeared before me in a form of a bright light standing before me. I was speechless and surprised that I suddenly felt ashamed.

After that statement, my grandmother vanished completely out of my sight. Hearing those words of her cleared my messed up mind and brought me back to my senses.
