The town of Ile-Ife is quiet as Darkness descends on it.. Most of it’s people are sound asleep and safe indoors, while some stay out enjoying the night… But in that darkness.. Horror lies within..
Lucas blends in the shadows of the streets of Ile-ife, looking around for something , He jumps from one roof to another in a quiet leap, hovering and roaming in that dark cold night..
Suddenly, He sees two lovers down below having s*x in a small quiet corner.. He stops and watch as the man lay down his female lover on the ground and mounts on top of her , pounding his d*ck into her.. He jumps on the unsuspecting lovers and ending their blissful moment, He grabs the man and smashes his head hærd on the cold floor, smashing it to pieces… The lady seeing her lover being crushed to death by a Deformed monster, runs for her dear life but before she could escape.. Lucas casts a spell on the walls around her.
The walls formed a Barricade in which she couldn’t escape.. Terrified by what she saw before her, she loses herself and shouts for help… Lucas pounces on her and devours her as she shouts her final scre-m into the night..
After being satisfied with his meal… Lucas body begins to slowly revert to its former form, As he watches this, he begins to laugh… But his laugh was cut short by Rose’s presence.

Lucas ➡ (startled) Bloody hell… Rose! You scared me….

Rose ➡ (laughing) Enjoying yourself I see?

Lucas ➡ Yes… What brings you here?
.
Rose ➡ I should be asking you that… Ile-ife is my turf… You’re trespassing..

Lucas ➡ Sorry, I didn’t know… I just branched here to.. Urhhh!!!

Before Lucas could find.. Rose crutches her hands as if she’s grabbed something.. Lucas bends down in pain holding his chest.. Rose had used a body possession spell on Lucas, grabbing on to his heart .. She presses it a bit h-rder and Lucas shouts in pain.. Begging her to stop.

Lucas ➡ Please…. Argghh.. Stop.. I beg you.

Rose ➡ Oloshi… Lie to me again.. And I’ll crush you heart without a moments pause..

Lucas ➡ Okay… Please release the spell.

Rose cancels her spell, Lucas stands up catching his breath.. Seeing how serious Rose was and knowing what she’s capable of doing.. Decides to tell her his real plan.

Lucas ➡ Ile-ife is not a dump… What do you know about the 7 amulets of the Yoruba gods.. Known as the * Cradle of life *

Rose ➡ Cradle of life? I’ve never heard of it..

Lucas ➡ (surprised) You seriously don’t know about it? Haven’t you been reading the witches history books.

Lucas ➡ You know Ile-ife is the founding place of the yoruba’s right? Its the origin of the Yoruba race.. When It’s founding father Oduduwa found this place witches where roaming this lands before they populated it and polluted it.. He was given an audience with the high council at the time.. He asked them to grant each of his sons power to rule the Yoruba lands within miles away.. They in return granted his children that power but for a price, his children would provide 1000 every 10 years so that the witches may feed upon their souls and he agreed. Oduduwa formed a pact with council swearing his children would obey the treaty between them.

Rose ➡ Wait.. So this Oduduwa guy really existed? How many years was that?

Lucas ➡ Two thousand years ago..

Rose ➡ Wow, my grandfather was alive then.. Continue..

Lucas ➡ The seven children of Oduduwa got these powers which were..

Ogun, god of iron and war.
Erinle, god of healing
Ibeji, god of Vitality and youth
Obatala, god of form
Osunmare, god of procreation
Êsu, God of death.
With these powers, they rule their people as gods and champions and the people feared and worsh¡pped them.. But.. As you know humans are too ignorant… The children of Oduduwa became too arrogant and began to defy us witches..Thinking they were powerful than us, they sought to stamp us out of existence.. The head witch.. Orisaye, wiped them all out using their powers against them.. After that there were no more youruba gods.. And the witches swore never to help any human again.

Rose ➡ And so… Why do you need their powers?

Lucas ➡ With that power.. I could wipe out the entire humans off the face of the earth.. I’ve already gotten three of the cradles.. Remaining four.. The fourth cradle is here in Ile-ife..

Rose ➡ I see.. Wiping the humans off the face of the earth.. sounds good.. Well, I won’t join you.. But I won’t stop you.. Find the remaining cradles and do as you please, just remember.. The council is still looking for you and your precious cradle of life… won’t work on them, after all, its their power..

Rose ➡ Trust me… There’ll never be a witch like me… Now if you’ll excuse me.. I need to go burn down a orphanage house..

Lucas ➡ Wait before you go.. I want to ask you for something .

Rose ➡ Yes, her name is Christen. .. And what about her?

Lucas ➡ I knew it.. I met her some few nights ago.. She’s a real beauty.. She’s quite strong, I must say.. She nearly killed me.. If she were as vicious as you, she’d be more powerful…

Rose disappears in an instant leaving Lucas standing alone.. Lucas smiles to himself as he calls Christen’s name out loud in the night and then laughs before he too disappears.

Its been two days since I’ve seen Christen.. She hasn’t been in school and I haven’t seen her at our usual point.. I wanted to use the necklace and use the spell she gave me if I wanted to see her but I canceled that idea, after a serious thought.. She might be at home and if I teleport there, i’m dead.
During those two Days Christen was absent, there had been several cases of mutilation, death, and missing person.. People were beginning to get scared and afraid of going out at night.. Ibadan was no longer safe for anyone but that didn’t stop people from going out..
One Sunday evening, Lionel and I together with our mom went to the church to pray,… To be honest, I’m not a fan of going to churches because what pastors do and say this days is just so unbelievable and ridiculous…..
As we were in the church, One of the pastors came out to the altar and began to preach.. I really wasn’t listening and so was Lionel who was busy chatting on his phone.. As for my mom, she was busy praying silently….
As I was looking around, I noticed a girl looking at me.. She had glasses on her face and her dressing was plain and simple.. She’s cute but her cuteness can’t be compared to Christen’s bewitching beauty..
She kept looking at me without even blinking an eye, I turned my face away from her and faced forward.
After the church service, my mom went over to the Pastor to exchange some pleasantries and it seems they knew each other.

Sara ➡ Pastor Emmanuel, you gave such a wonderful summon, I’m sure it went to the hearts of everyone..

Immediately the girl showed up, it was that same girl that was staring at me in the church.. She extended her hands for a handshake and I collected it..

After that, Mom and Pastor Emmanuel began to talk while Lionel and I together with Deborah gave them a little space.. As we found a place to seat, the girl sat very close to me, as if she was attached to me, I moved at little because this was getting awkward.

After a while, We all went our separate ways.. As soon as we reached home, Mom began to talk to us about Emmanuel and his daughter..

I went over and saw the pic of the lady.. Lionel was right… She was really beautiful.. She reminded me of Christen but unlike Christen.. This one had one nasty smile.. The look on her face indicated she was vicious and mean.. I hope Lionel is making the right choice by talking to this lady..
I went back to my bed to sleep, I brought out the necklace of Christen, looking at it.. Before going to sleep.
The next morning.. I got ready and went to school early.. Lionel was still in bed when I got dressed, maybe he doesn’t have morning lectures.
As I arrived in school, Everyone was busy gisting and talking about the party that was going to hold tomorrow night..
The party was a going to be a wild one, each year it gets more wilder and crazier.. All the hot shots and slay queens will be in attendance even some of the lecturers attend the occasion..
As I got into the theater hall, I noticed Khalid and Tina up above so I went over to them.. As I arrived I noticed they weren’t in their usual groove.. So I decided to ask what happened.

Tina ➡ Hmm, Riley help me talk to Khalid o.. He’s refused to talk to me or anyone for that matter.

As Tina and Khalid were arguing.. Everyone in the hall turned towards the door, I couldn’t believe it either.. It was Christen..
God, she looked so hot and s€×y.. She wore a black crazy tight jeans and an expensive Nike canvas and a tight black T shirt, as she walked her b-obs were giggling with every step, her h¡ps and wa-ist was swaying left and right.. Her black outfit looked so good on her white skin.. Her hair was so curly like macaroni… All in all, she was s€×y goddess in black.
She walked up to the stairs without looking anyone, she sat just a few chairs away from me… I excused myself from my friends and went to see her…

Just then, Our lecturer came into the hall, I quickly sat next to her putting my arms around her wa-ist.. She didn’t stop me but smiled as I did that.. She leaned closer to me resting her head on my shoulders…
That’s how we sat through out the lectures.. Till it was over.. Witch or not.. I’m not parting with Christen no matter what!
