While Christen and Riley had their nights ruined… The night of Ridley’s brother Lionel was a different story.. While his brother headed to the party.. He headed to another direction… He boarded a taxi and went to his destination… Soon the taxi dropped him at #Agodi_GRA area, The streets were cold and lonely.. Nobody was sighted.. Only the street lights which stood in the middle of the road shone the place.. The taxi driver seeing how dark and monkey the place was decided to make Lionel change his mind..

Lionel walks out of the room and goes straight down stairs, and he notices the party is still going on.. He hears someone shout for help but he couldn’t see anyone.. As he was heading to the door, he notice the people in his way are moving away from him as if they had seen ugly on him, Lionel checks himself and sees nothing… Sooner afterwards, he leaves the house completely and goes straight into the car… Seconds later, the car starts off and drives him home.
Minutes later, Lionel arrives at home and goes straight to his room, He notices his brother’s mood was tense..

After that party, Life returned to what it was before.. But not for the better, A day after the party 10 people were reported missing and most of them were students and two days later, 10 more were killed or rather absorbed, their bodies were shrunken completely… This event were no longer strange to me.. Not after the horrors I’ve seen.. And as it turns out, not only Ibadan had a case of missing or dead people, there were several States who had problems like ours.
Precautions were taken of course, By the law enforcements to ensure the safety of the people and made it known nationwide that people shouldn’t stay out late in the night.. But to me, this was a waste of time.. Cause this problem wasn’t the kind of thing they could handle. But I agree to one thing and that is people shouldn’t stay late at night..
After the party, I haven’t seen Christen, I tried contacting her but there was no reply… A few days later , I got seriously sick and I couldn’t come to school for the rest of the week, But thanks to Solomon, I had some company while I stayed at home…
Thanks to him, I could detect who was human and who wasn’t by looking at their feet as long as I had the necklace on me… The mermaids had fins and while the ghouls had nasty looking feet’s with claws.. But there was no problem.. The witches and humans look so much alike you could hærdly tell the difference, So Solomon took the liberty of notifying me whenever a witch was near or around.
I had also Learnt some things from Solomon, especially the history of the Yoruba gods.. I couldn’t believe they existed, I thought they were just fairy tales and what surprised me was, They got their powers from the witches and due to some reason, they were wiped out completely… I Learnt that the source of their power was on Seven amulets called the “Cradle of life”..
Solomon was sure an interesting person to be with, Despite his harsh and cold attitude towards me… Whenever I needed something from him, he would drift me back to that cold dark void where we first met but seeing this was a waste of time and it would attract unwanted attention if my body stood like a pole while we communicated subconsciously, Solomon decided to be popping out so we could talk one on one but I would be the only one to see him.. Nobody else can.
While Solomon and I were getting more and more acquainted, something else was going on with my brother, Lionel… Ever since he came back that night.. He wasn’t the same as before.. He was behaving somehow sloppy and sluggish, even his appearance had changed.. The Lionel I grew up with was always active and in the zone but this one was just the exact opposite.. His physical nature too was slowly changing, like his eyes, they were always dull as if he was asleep, and his skin was getting pale as if they was no blood, and he was getting a little bit ski-ny, Whenever I asked him what was going on, he’d always bounce me off or shout at me to let him be.. Lionel was changing in an unpleasant way, the only thing not changing on him was that Rolex on his wrist.. Our mom noticed the change in him and decided to take us both to church for prayer.
One Saturday afternoon , We all went to the church to pray, there was sure a lot of crowds and Pastor Emmanuel was giving an intense sermon about what was happening currently in Ibadan, he said the people’s disappearance or demise was the work of the devil 😈… He further went on cursing and saying horrible things about them, he later went on and said He had received a message from God in his dream and the message was to be the saviour of the people, and wipe out the evil that was spreading.. I just couldn’t believe what he just said.. That’s why I don’t come to church nowadays.. He was no prophet and the age of prophets were long passed, and the prophets were special people , pure of heart and cleansed of sin, with divine gifts from God to lead people into the light and save them from the path of evil so that Satan may not lead them astray.
Pastor Emmanuel was no prophet, and he doesn’t have any of those qualities that the prophets have.. And what’s more Jesus was the last prophet in the bible if any more prophets would have come, their names would have been seen in the bible and in all the prophets I know.. There has never been one who is black.. All of the prophets are colored and to my utmost surprise, some idiot will drop out of nowhere and claims he’s a prophet of God… Hell no..
As I was listening to Pastor Emmanuel spew his nonsense, Solomon came out as well listening to what he was saying.

After the church was over, Mom wanted us to go and meet pastor Emmanuel, I realized that Deborah would be there and she’ll be asking me all types of question.. And I don’t want that, So I made up a lie and said I wasn’t feeling well.. Mom allowed me to go back home so I could rest. As I was about to leave, I clashed with Deborah on the way.. I have to say, she was looking lovely today.. She wore a nice white shirt and a tight black fabric trouser which shaped out her ass and h¡ps, she stood in front of me holding a Bible to her br-asts..

Was this a joke??
