The idea of falling in Love was something that I’ve always been nervous about but now that now caught in it’s web, I began to see my life in a new light.
Spending time with Rotimi made me more and more interested in the guy. Surely, he wasn’t up to my expectations but he has some good qualities that I really admire. Considering the fact that exams was days away and the world was clouded by dark skies, I really didn’t bother about any of those cause all I looked forward to was spending time with my boyfriend.
So presently here I was with Rotimi in the cool forests of Ibadan lying on top of each other laughing and giggling as we k!$sed and made funny jokes. It’s been a really interesting day for me considering the things I did and the place I went with Rotimi, I had a really good time with Rotimi and I loved it every second of it. So as I was busy making jokes, Rotimi was busy putting his hands on me. Hearing the sound of his heart beat as he touched my body made me realize how eager and how badly he wanted to make love to me but it’s going to take a very long while before that happens.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Don’t try any funny ideas .

Rotimi ➡ What’s that supposed to mean?

Ebinoluwa ➡ You know what I mean. I can see how eager you are.

Rotimi ➡ Well, what did you expect? It’s not easy for a guy to be in control especially when he’s with a stunning and gorgeous babe like you.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Your words are flattering but you’re going to have to do a lot better than that.

Rotimi ➡ I’ll keep trying until I succeed.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Sigh! What a lovely night.

Rotimi ➡ Yes, it sure is.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Do you have any plans for the future, Rotimi?

Rotimi ➡ I’m not really sure. You?

Ebinoluwa ➡ Well, I want to be a news reporter. I want to feel what’s like to live like a human.

Rotimi ➡ That’s it? Isn’t there anything you’d want after that?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I haven’t figured that out yet.
.

Rotimi ➡ Well, I do have one plan for the future.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ And what’s that?
.

Rotimi ➡ You.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Me?
.

Rotimi ➡ Yes, I want to be with you forever.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Do you have to be so direct?
.

Rotimi ➡ Is it a bad thing?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Sigh! Never mind. If I may ask, why me?

Rotimi ➡ Why not? Everytime I’m with you, I feel like I’ve finally where I’m suppose to be. I feel at peace when I’m around you.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I’m pretty sure you told that to Lola.
.

Rotimi ➡ Will you please stop talking about her? I don’t have anything to do with her anymore. You’re the one that I want.

Ebinoluwa ➡ And if that doesn’t happen?
.

Rotimi ➡ What do you mean?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Fate works in mysterious ways. Your destiny isn’t in your hands. The future is uncertain.
.

Rotimi ➡ Can I ask you something?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Sure.
.

Rotimi ➡ Do you love me?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ What ?
.

Rotimi ➡ Just answer the question.
.

Okay, Rotimi is a great guy and all but answering his question was something I wasn’t ready for yet. For God’s sake, I’m young and I’m still in my youth. One can never decide on who they love or choose to be with, people can love each other dearly and end up separating in the end, even worst enemies can get r0mantically involved in Fate decides on it. Fortunately for me, before things could get really complicated for Rotimi and I, something unexpected happened.
Somewhere in the far depths of the forest, a loud rumbling went off shaking the ground like an earthquake. In that moment, Rotimi and I quickly got to our feet as we heard the sound and shortly after that, I felt a very strong magic essence coming from the place.

Rotimi ➡ There’s something going on in this forest.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Yes.. I also feel the presence of magic.
.

Rotimi ➡ What should we do?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Let’s go check it out.
.

Rotimi ➡ Is that really necessary?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Jesus Rotimi, there may be people who are hurt and might need our help. Come on.
.

Rotimi ➡ Okay, let’s go.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Bring your hand so that we can teleport.
.

Rotimi ➡ Actually, I have a better idea.
.

In that moment, Rotimi swiftly swept me off my feet carrying me in his arms. His act seemed silly but still what lady can resist being carried off her feet in a r0mantic manner.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (giggling) You r0mantic demon. What do you think you’re doing?
.

Rotimi ➡ What does it look like I’m doing? Instead of teleportation, why not allow me to carry you all the way there in my arms.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Okay but you better hold me tight.
.

Rotimi ➡ You bet. Stay still sweet l-ips cause you’re about to experience the speed of a demon.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Hmph! Surprise me.

Of all the insane and impossible fights that I’ve had with supernatural beings, I’ve never had one with a mermaid. All these years, I thought mermaids were just extremely good looking cannibalistic beings but as it turns out that they have a darker and a more sinister side than that of the witches.
As I stood strong getting ready to face the mermaid before me, something terrifying happened at that moment shattering my hopes to pieces . The mermaid who stood meters away from me began to do something horrific and terrifying. At first, she retracted long claws from her fingers and then w¡den her jaw, as if this scene was scary enough, she began to chatter sharp razor like teeth in an incredibly fast manner. The sound of her teeth chattering sounded like a typist typing really fast on a typewriter. What came after that was a deafening s¢ræm that nearly burst my eardrums. Never in my life did I think that I would meet someone that was far more scarier than Rose and the kind of vibe this mermaid was giving off, I knew that I was going to have one hell of a time.
After intimidating me with her raw power, the mermaid then began to sway her hands manipulating the ring of water that surrounded her like a hula hoop . Before I could guess what she was up to, the mermaid charged towards me with incredible speed slashing the water rings at me. I dodged as fast as I could trying not to get slashed by the water rings which sliced the big trees around us like butter.
Using my defensive position to her advantage, the mermaid charged in and kicked me so hærd in my midsection that I was sent flying again. As I soared through the air, I noticed the water rings charging towards me from above. I quickly blocked the damn things with my shield which I summoned in that moment as just I was about to be struck. The impact hurled me down incredibly fast making me to hit my back on the ground.
Pain surged throughout my entire body but I endured it and staggered back to my feet. I couldn’t afford to lose focus on that mermaid cause one mistake could lead to a tragic demise . Seconds later, the mermaid appeared once more surrounding herself with her water rings, she looked so intimidating that I almost lost my composure. I thought she was going to attack me once more but then she stood staring at me menacingly.

Xeira ➡ By the sea gods, after all that and you’re still standing? I’m impressed.
.

Riley ➡ I’ve been through worse.
.

Xeira ➡ (laughs) Is that so? Tell me something. Are you human? Because I’m getting a strange smell from you. You look human but you don’t smell like one.
.

Riley ➡ You have no right to know who I am b-tch!
.

Xeira ➡ Well, I’m going to find out one way or another. Before I hand you over to the mistress. I’m going to have my fun with you.
.

In that instant, the mermaid rushed towards me unleashing her claws and teeth. She ran so fast that I barely had enough time to guard myself. As quickly as I could, I summoned a cutlass in my right hand to cut down the mermaid b-tch. She dodged easily and at the same time dug her claws into my ribs. Despite the hellish pain that I felt, I grabbed her hands trying to bash my head into face but before that could happen, the sly b-tch swiftly dodged and dug her teeth into my shoulders. Blood splattered all over me as the mermaid tried to tear out my flesh, she dug her nails deeper into my ribs trying to rip my sides. I gathered all my strength and landed a blow in her midsection making her let go of me. Before I had the chance to heal and regenerate my wounds, the mermaid rushed towards me slashing her claws all over my body.
Close combat was my best shot at her but unfortunately for me, this b-tch was far more proficient at it than I plus she was faster than me. Seeing that I was on the receiving end of a beat down, I decided to find a way to attack before I get killed. In that dire moment, I reached out and grabbed the mermaid’s throat trying to strangle her but then an idea popped into my head. Using the remaining strength I had, I ran through the forest as fast I could bashing the b-tch’s face across every tree I came across . The mermaid struggled to break free but I held her throat tightly. Just when I thought I had turned things around, the mermaid did something unexpected.
All of a sudden, her body transformed into water which enabled her to escape my grasp and in that same moment, she quickly transformed back into her real form and smooched me with a powerful uppercut. Before I could recover from that thunderous blow, the mermaid grabbed my left leg and swung me around for some seconds before hurling me across the forest. Crashing against trees wasn’t the bitter part but the brutal kick that followed hurt a lot more than that.
More brutal attacks came after that but this time around I managed to repel some of them. Using the magic of the gloves I had, I summoned powerful grenades in my grasp and began to throw them at the mermaid b-tch. Although I didn’t get the mermaid but I managed to stall the her for some time. By the time I had recovered from my wounds, I decided to go all out on the mermaid b-tch by using the gloves powers to my disposal.
After summoning powerful guns in the plan of my hands, I began to fire them at the mermaid raining down bullets on her. The impact of the shots shook the forest to it’s core as if there was a war going on. After a while, I ceased fire and waited to see if the mermaid was still alive but what happened next nearly got me killed.
In a twinkle of an eye, the water rings that surrounded the mermaid began to circle and expand in the air and before I could figure out what was going on, the rings expanded all around the forest slicing every tree in an instant. I watched with horror as the place was leveled easily, something that would take days for men to finish was instantly done in a mere second. Luckily for me, I wasn’t standing when this happened cause if I was, my head would have severed from my body.
As soon as the place was quiet, I stood got back to my feet and looked around the place cautiously but the suddenly, I heard a noise. I stood still pointing my gun at the direction where the sound came from, my thumb was on the trigger and it was itching the pull it. As I waited for whatever it is that made the sound, something unexpected happened.
Out of nowhere, tiny dots of water appeared out of nowhere and began to pierce my body like bullets. It was like I was being rained with machine gun bullets. As I was trying to summon a shield to protect myself, the mermaid instantly appeared and began to drop multiple attacks on me. First there was her punches and then her water rings which she used as a wh¡p to assault me with.
As much as I tried to keep up with the mermaid, she was too fast and too strong. Before I could land a blow on her, she had already thrown hundreds of blows at me. My body was messed up and I had lost lots of blood plus, I was starting to feel weak but even with that I kept fighting on. After fighting for some minutes, the mermaids ended it by blasting me away with her powerful and echoing s¢ræm. This time around, she s¢ræmed so loud that her sound waves shattered the trees in front of her to pieces, even my skin was nearly scrapped from my bones.
As I lay on the ground bleeding and barely breathing, I tried to get back up to my feet but my body had failed me. I was extremely weak and hurt all over to the extent that I couldn’t blink my eyes. At that moment, the mermaid approached and stood over me before bending down close to my face staring into my eyes. All I could think of at that moment was Christen and how she’d react if she heard that I was being murdered by a mermaid. After staring down at my face, the mermaid began to lick my face for some seconds before she sunk her teeth into my chest. I wanted to shout in pain but I couldn’t, doing that would only make it worse for me and entertaining for the mermaid. After sipping my blood for some seconds, the mermaid sat on my belly and began to lick her l-ips deliciously rubbing her cold hands on my bloodied chest.

Xeira ➡ Mmmm, what a delicious treat. I’ve never tasted blood like the 400yrs of my life. Oh I’m going to enjoy feeding off from you. Once the mistress is done with you, I’m going to keep you as my pet. I have lots of things that I want to do with.
.

For a moment, I thought that I was done for but then the unexpected happened. All of a sudden, there was a loud s¢ræm of anguish that filled the forest. The mermaid was alarmed by this but before she could react, a powerful lighting struck her so hærd that she was sent flying through the forest. Shortly after that, Christen appeared and stood right in front of me. It didn’t take long for her to see me in my miserable condition but the worst part was the way she looked at me. Her face was filled with shock and horror, I could tell her heart broken she was when she saw me. Before long, tears rolled from her eyes as she bent down towards me casting a healing spell. I wanted to apologize to her but words weren’t enough to make her feel better. I knew I had messed up and once this was over, it’s going to be a hell of a time to get back to Christen’s good grace.

Christen ➡ Why Riley? How could you make me go through this?
.

Riley ➡ Honey, I..
.

Before I could finish my statement, the mermaid appeared instantly and yelled in angry staring maliciously at Christen. Seeing how enraged the mermaid was I knew that she was going to hurt Christen.
.

Xeira ➡ HEY! that’s my meal you have there. If you don’t want me to spill your guts, better hand him over.
.

Christen ➡ You’re going to pay for what you did to him.
.

Xeira ➡ Well, is that so?….. Well, I’ve had fun warming-up with this juicy pound of flesh. Now, it’s time to get serious and I’m going to enjoy hurting you.
