Chapter 81 :- Battle of Supremacy, Ebinoluwa Vs Evlyn (Contd)

As Ebinoluwa and Evlyn prepare to face off against each other for the first time, they each take their time to calculate their moves. After all, both of them had never faced an adversary or opponent of the same caliber or level as them until now.

Suddenly like 2 bullet trains colliding head on and hard into each other, Ebinoluwa and Evlyn clash as they unleash their magic onto each other. Ebinoluwa who was emotionally triggered by Evlyn’s threats made the first move by blasting the latter with a powerful lightening bolt. In response to Ebinoluwa’s attack, Evlyn too at the same time blasts Ebinoluwa with her own lightening attack and as both lighting bolts collide, the impact shakes the entire reserve tremendously making the ground to tremble.
Apart from the tremor, the reserve was soon engulfed by a powerful wind that swept away everything in it’s apart except for the 2 Witches. Even the strongest trees in the reserve were forced to bend due to the tenacity of the wind. Meanwhile, Ebinoluwa who was hell bent on destroying Evlyn pours more of her magical energy into the lightening blast to end things quickly. Evlyn who had noticed the young witch’s rage and desire to finish her off decided to toy with her and make her lose focus.

Evlyn ➡ (laughs) IS THIS ALL THE POWER YOU HAVE? I WAS EXPECTING A LOT MORE. YOU’LL HAVE TO DO BETTER THAN THIS LITTLE GIRL. IS THIS HOW YOU PLAN ON STOPPING ME FROM KILLING YOUR LOVED ONES?

Enraged by Evlyn’s words, Ebinoluwa yells angrily and pours more of her magical energy into the lightening blast increasing it’s power and at the same time over powering the dark witch. For a moment, it looked as if Ebinoluwa had gained the upper hand against the dark witch but it turns out it was a momentarily delay for the inevitable, something that the young witch could have never anticipated.
Meanwhile, Evlyn who had noticed the boost of confidence in Ebinoluwa smiled wickedly and then did the unexpected by ceasing her attack and taking the young witch’s powerful lightening blast head-on. As the lightening struck the dark witch, there was a loud explosive impact that nearly tore the ground, it was a direct hit and the impact was enough to decimate or tear anyone to shreds or pieces. Ebinoluwa who had seen her golden opportunity to end Evlyn, increased the power of her lightening blast to the extent that the entire reserve shook violently and the place sparked bright with light. The trees and grass within that vicinity were burnt to crisp and the stones were turned to ash thanks to the lightening sparks that flew around and before long, the place that Evlyn stood exploded tremendously sending out a loud bang into the atmosphere.
After the explosion, Ebinoluwa ceases her attack and holding her breath as she saw the outcome of her attack. Not only was there a thick cloud of dust, but the ground itself was torn apart and everything standing on top of it. As everything goes quiet, Ebinoluwa drops on her knees panting and gasping for air as she tries to breath. Despite landing Evlyn with a direct hit, Ebinoluwa wasn’t sure if she had won cause in her mind, she felt something was amiss but before she could contemplate further on the matter, something unexpectedly occurs.

Everything happened so fast but I felt it, I felt the direct hit on Evlyn. Considering the magic I infused into that lightening attack, there’s no one alive that could survive that head-on cause that lightening is the most powerful one I’ve ever unleashed. Still, everything felt so easy, I didn’t want to have doubts but one can never be too sure. I was expecting this fight to be tough and difficult especially after what I’ve heard about Evlyn but now I wasn’t sure if I had won, everything about this just didn’t feel right and unfortunately I was right.
Suddenly whilst I was busy catching my breath, I felt a dark presence in front of me, there was no one in sight but I could feel the presence of another being and what came after freaked me out.

Out of nowhere, Evlyn’s laughter echoed the atmosphere like the roar of thunder. She was no where in sight but her laughter was so real. I was so shocked and terrified that I failed to see that she was in front of me this whole time. Immediately I got back to my feet, the thick smoke of dust that gathered at the spot where Evlyn stood began to cluster around in one place taking form and before I could do anything, Evlyn appeared in front of me standing with the most wicked smile I’ve ever seen.
What bothered me was the fact that she was unharmed, there was no injury or bruise of any kind, she was perfectly fine.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Impossible… It can’t be.
.

Evlyn ➡ Impossible (laughs). Little girl, you have no idea what’s impossible. Your attack was truly powerful but it wasn’t enough to finish me. It will take more than that to kill me.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Is that so? I have plenty more spells to end you. I won’t make this same mistake I did moments ago. This time I’m going to make sure you’re dead.
.

Evlyn ➡ Oh, is that so? We shall see.
.

Without warning, Evlyn made her move by unleashing series of magical attacks and spells on me. I too retaliated and fought back with everything I had. At first, we attacked each other with long range magic attacks but before long things began to heat up.
For a moment, I was able to keep up with Evlyn fighting her on equal grounds but after a while, I was on the receiving end of her attacks. Honestly, she was more experienced than me and she had a million spells in her arsenal so all I could do was block or counter her spells. Eventually, I managed to turn things around by using one of the Ace spells I got from TOK and the name of the spell was “Construct magic”.
This particular spell allows any witch/wizard to use their magical energy to create anything using their imagination, that is to say I could mold my magical energy to whatever I want and as soon as I used that spell, Evlyn was now the one on the ropes.
Imagination is a very powerful thing especially when one can magically bring it to life and with this spell in my disposal and the vast amount of magic I had in me, I mopped the ground with Evlyn. The first thing I constructed with my magic was swords, thousands if not millions of them which I unleashed upon Evlyn like rainfall, the the next thing I constructed was a shower of meteors big enough to crush a skyscraper. Evlyn tried to dodge but I tied her down to the ground with my magic but then she sly bitch counter my magic turning the ground the ground on which we stood on into an exploding lava. Seeing how things changed so fast, I had to fly up to avoid being blown to hell but still that didn’t stop Evlyn from getting to me. Before I could get to safety, Evlyn quickly constructed a black dome that trapped us both inside and inside the dome, the lava was still burning hot. Before I could think of another way out of the dome, Evlyn used the lava to create some kind of demonic being that was 10ft tall, what bothered me was the heat that was getting to me and the fact that I couldn’t teleport out of this dome, it was so hot inside the dome that my clothes were starting to slowly fade and crumble away.

Evlyn ➡ Welcome to my dome of despair, little girl. I must say you’re truly a worthy of being an infinite witch. I only use this spell on powerful opponents.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I’m done talking to you. Let’s just end this.

Evlyn ➡ Oh yes we shall.
.

With the snap of her fingers, the demonic being roared and bursted into a thousand lava bits heading towards me. Just one touch of that lava meant death cause I already saw what the hot burning liquid to the trees and stones before being trapped inside this dome. So as quickly as I could, I casted a transmutation spell (alchemy) and turned the lava into stones and shortly after that, I did the same for the lava inside the dome.
Evlyn smiled wickedly as she saw what I did but she didn’t waste time to jump into her next action. Shortly after I had turned the lava into stones, Evlyn snapped her fingers making the whole dome to rumble and to my utmost surprise the lava turned stones too began to burst and return to their formal state. The stones didn’t just burst but they also exploded and shot out lava like a volcanic eruption. Seeing the way how things were going on, I decided to think of a way of getting out of this predicament.
Suddenly in that moment, my panicked mind went back to information TOK told me about some of Evlyn’s powers and one of them was this dome. Evlyn’s dome of despair had one weak spot and it was from the inside, it’s true that nobody could get out but that doesn’t mean nobody can get in and since I couldn’t teleport out of the dome, I decided to use a teleportion gate to bring in something that was much more powerful than the lava. Before all the stones could finish exploding, I opened the teleportation gate and summoned a large amount of water from the sea into the dome. In a blink of an eye, the water filled the dome full and even snuffed out the lava instantly. Evlyn who saw that her plan had failed destroyed her dome allowing us both to go free and as soon as the dome was gone, I closed the teleportation gate to stop the water from coming cause the one that had gotten through had swept through the reserve like a river.
Despite being on the verge of being drowned, Evlyn quickly rose to her feet as If nothing had happened. Her face this time around had an angry look and her eyes were burning with fury. After seeing the look on Evlyn’s face, I became alert and watchful of my guard for any unexpected attack.

Evlyn ➡ You were fun at first but now you’re starting to vex me little girl.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Is that so? Well, I’m going to keep doing that until I defeat you.
.

Evlyn ➡ Cocky b-tch! You may have stood this long against me but you’re no match for me. It’s time I showed you why I’m a force to reckon with. Prepare yourself little girl.
.

Before Evlyn could unleash whatever horrible spell she’s got with her, I unleashed a powerful wind spell blowing her away into the mind air like catapult. At that same moment, I chased Evlyn and knocked her down hard to the ground using a flame spell . Shortly after Evlyn had crashed into the ground, I used Aunt Rose and mom’s magic to tie her down and as soon as that was done, I opened a big teleportation gate in the sky summoning a big mass of rock which I dropped upon Evlyn.
Hearing the big and loud boom the rock made as it landed on top Evlyn filled me with joy. I knew the old hag wasn’t dead but at least this should be knock her out for a while. However, my hopes and expectations crumbled after witnessing an unexpected phenomenon.
All of a sudden, the bright sunny sky which had lit everywhere was soon clouded with dark storms and strong winds, the clouds themselves formed some kind of shape like a vortex. It didn’t take me long to realize that something was going to drop from the sky but before I could do anything, the ground which I stood on began to rumble and within a blink of an eye, the earth began to erupt. Seeing the ground tearing itself apart wasn’t as bad as what I saw next, the trees, plants and any other living rodent in that vicinity began to die and wither instantly even the stones crumbled and turned into sand. Luckily for me, I was smart enough to fly off the ground cause if I hadn’t I might have died as well.
Occurrences such as this may seem like an plague or apocalypse but it’s none of that, what happened just now was the effect of a forbidden magic known as *Destruction magic*. This particular type of magic allows the user to destroy anything on sight as soon as it is unleash, a magic of this magnitude can be used to wipe out a nation within a blink of an eye. It clearly makes sense how Evlyn was able to destroy empires and dynasties off the face of the earth. Whilst this catastrophe was going on, the huge rock I dropped on Evlyn turned into sand and in that very moment, the evil b-tch got back to her feet and stared at me with murderously.
Without uttering any words, Evlyn snapped her finger making the sky to roar with loud thunderous claps and within a blink of an eye, a vortex which was hovering at the direction of the Yankari games Reserve unleashed a lightening so powerful that it’s impact reached all the way to my place. In that moment, a terrible realization popped into my mind that I teleported to YR reserve to check it out and by the time I got there, my worst fear were confirmed.
Here before my very eyes lay a heap of bodies all burnt beyond recognition, everyone in the reserve was dead both humans and animals, even the buildings of the reserve was utterly destroyed and engulfed in fire. Seeing this horrible sight devastated me mentally, my heart felt heavy and my head felt dizzy that I was forced to fall on my knees. It was even hard to breath, all these innocent people were killed in vain all because I couldn’t finish Evlyn.
In that moment as I was busy trying to get a hold of myself, Evlyn appeared behind me and began to laugh. I felt so angry and mad that my hands were shaking, so I got back to my feet and then faced Evlyn trying to go berserk on her but I hesitated. My hesitation wasn’t because of fear but because of the magical energy I felt around Evlyn. Unlike moments ago, her magic was totally different not to mention too dark, it almost felt as the same as Belial.

Ebinoluwa ➡ How could you? This people didn’t deserve to die like this.

Evlyn ➡ You care about these worms? Oh I almost forgot, you’re half human.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Your fight is with me. Stop harming innocent people.
.

Evlyn ➡ Like I care? Killing these human worms is nothing but a thrill to me. They’re nothing but livestock waiting for slaughter. In fact, I do sense a large amount of life force from that direction and if I’m right this must be the city of Bauchi, right?

Ebinoluwa ➡ Stop! don’t harm them.
.

Evlyn ➡ Like I said, I don’t care. Feeding on the life force of these livestock will replenish the little energy I wasted on you. Time to feed on this worms.

Ebinoluwa ➡ NOO!!!
.

Blinded by rage, I charged towards Evlyn trying to stop her and that turned out to be a big mistake. Immediately I got close to Evlyn, she grabbed hold of my throat and threw effortlessly straight into a nearby tree. Immediately I crashed into the tree, Evlyn rushed to where I was and began to assault me. At first, she used physical attacks but when she felt the outcome of my Rebounce spell, she used magical attacks. Using an ancient hand to hand fighting skills and her magic, Evlyn gave me a beating of a life time. I was no match for her when it came to physical combat except maybe for magic but with the combination of physical combat and magic, I had no chance against her. The worst part was she was fast that I couldn’t defend nor anticipate where her hits would land. I couldn’t even fight back. For about 8mins, I was Evlyn’s punching bag until she finally sent me flying with a magical combo of lightening and wind right in the midsection.
As I lay on the ground with bruises and extreme pain all over my body, Evlyn appeared right next to me and match my stomach hard that I vomited blood. As if that was brutal enough, Evlyn tore off what’s left of my clothes exposing my birthday suit in the open as a sign of humiliation.
Despite my condition, I tried to teleport but I was too weak to do so, so I gathered my little strength and tried to crawl away on my stomach. Evlyn watched me and began to laugh but before I could go far, she grabbed my hair hard raised me off the ground. The feeling of hanging on my hair was extremely painful that I was forced to scream and shed tears. I felt helpless and weak that I couldn’t so anything.

Evlyn ➡ My, just look at you. The girl with all gifts. Your young body is truly remarkable and it needs to tendered to by a real male. Tell me, how does it feel to lose? To be defeated?

Ebinoluwa ➡ Go.. To… Hell.
.

Evlyn ➡ Do you know why you lost? It’s because your humanity has made you weak. I’m sure you must have been taught my your humans friends about good morality and all those other nonsense. You may be witch but you lack the qualities of a witch. If you’re to defeat me, you need to embrace the darkness and be baptized in it. I could steal away your magic right now but I won’t. You’re too valuable to be killed like sheep. Join me Ebinoluwa and together, the world will be ours and all the pleasures that comes with.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I’ll never join you.
.

Evlyn ➡ You’re quite stubborn. Perhaps, it’s time I use force on you. Just because I won’t kill you doesn’t mean I won’t punish you. If you won’t join me willingly then I’ll have to make you.
.

After that, Evlyn tossed to the ground and then mounted onto top of me licking my face, neck and then my breasts. She even dared to kiss me but I shut my lips tightly and began to sway my face left and right. I felt so angry by this that it enabled me to fight back even it was for a few moments. As Evlyn was trying to defile me, I gathered my strength and punched so hard with lightening while she was distracted . The impact sent her flying away from me but my assault really pissed her off.

Evlyn ➡ YOU INSOLENT BRAT!!! If you continue to reject me then I’m going to make sure everything you love dies until you have no one left. For now, I’m going to settle your punch by taking the lives of those people I sensed.

In that moment, Evlyn uttered some strange words and then transformed physically. The first thing that happened was the appearance of a third eye on her forehead and then the appearance of 2 more arms underneath the ones she already has. After that, she snapped all of fingers which made the sky to roar louder than ever with thunder claps. I didn’t need anyone to tell me what Evlyn was about to do so but she could kill more innocent lives, I decided to use the one spell that could counter all of her spells.
Despite my condition, I quickly casted a *Crimson light* spell making it so big that the brightness of light was enough to blind anyone who stared at it for long. Evlyn who saw what I was doing tried to stop me but before she could do that, I unleashes the spell and within a blink of eye, the light engulfed the entire reserve canceling out Evlyn’s evil magic.

It’s been close to 30mins since I left to get some delicacies for Ebinoluwa but now my hopes for impressing her had been dashed after I returning to where I left her. My heart beat increased as I saw how the landscape had been devasted, everything was destroyed and annihilated beyond description. What bothered me was Ebinoluwa’s safety, she was my only concern and the thought of something bad happening to her increased my fears.
Shortly after my return, I zoomed around the reserve searching for her. For a moment, I thought my search was going to take long but it didn’t. Before I could get far, my nose picked up Ebinoluwa’s scent and it came all the way from the direction of the YG reserve.
Without hesitation, I ran there and arrived seconds later only to come face to face with another disaster. I was struck with disbelief as I saw the reserve and everyone in it completely destroyed. After recovering from my shock, I followed Ebinoluwa’s scent hoping that she was still alive cause I wouldn’t know what to say to her parents or family members about her demise. What scared me the most was how her Aunt Rose would react if I brought her dead body home to them. Immediately I got to where Ebinoluwa was, I sighed with relief as I saw her alive and unconscious. Despite being happy, I wasn’t pleased with the way I saw her, she was naked and covered in bruises. I felt so mad that I wasn’t here for her when she needed me and now here she is, humiliated and left for dead.
In that moment, I removed my shirt and covered Ebinoluwa with it and once I had done that, I picked her up in my arms and teleported her back to her father’s house. I just hope that she doesn’t die on me. Whoever it is that did this to her will surely pay, even if it’s the last thing I do.
