Episode Twelve
“Why do you say so???” Boss asked.

“George doesn’t have a shield now, Michael is in Dublin, so it is easy to get him into signing the deal and we can do whatever we want with him before Michael comes, and concerning the job you had for me, I know how to fit in because presently they need a cook, I can go in form of one” Natasha narrated with an evil grin.

“Yeah, I quite agree but how do you know that they need a cook” Kennedy asked as he doesn’t seems to get the connection.

“Well, you guys were getting slow in getting us information, so I followed you people and placed voice recorder on his phone, and lucky for me it turned out to be his personal phone” Natasha explained.

“When I say, you are as intelligent as Clara, am right, the rest are block heads” Boss said, Natasha smiled with pride, the rest looked at her scornfully.

“But how did you get a sound recorder on his phone???” Alex asked still confused.

“Well, after you guys got to the restaurant, I opened his car, placed the magnetic device into his phone holder, which I know got glued to his phone immediately it got in contact with his phone” Natasha said after sipping her drink.

“Ooooh my, how did you get to open his locked car???” Alex asked again.

“Darling, have you forgotten I am a thief, I have my ways, and when I said sneaking and stealing are my hobbies am not joking” Natasha said.

“Keep asking stupid questions, idiot” Boss said angrily at Alex who recoiled.

“Your plan is excellent, everything should be executed before Michael gets back” Mr Mark said referring to Natasha who was sitting like a queen.

“Yes, but both Alex and Katherine will go after Michael, I want him dead or alive but I prefer alive” Boss said.

“OK boss” both Alex and Katherine chorused and walked out.

“While Natasha will go with Kennedy, he will serve as help to her….” Boss was saying when Natasha cut in rudely.

“I can do it myself, I don’t want a duck to help me, I can help myself” she cut in rudely which got Boss angry.

“Shut up!!!! When I speak, you keep quiet, hey!! I bloody call the shots, not you” Boss shouted at her angrily.

“I…..” Natasha was trying to defend herself, when Boss stood up and slapped her, because she also stood up to him and looked him directly in the eyes with so much boldness.

“Need I remaind you, I took you from the slums, if you try shit with me, I will kill you and nobody, I repeat no one will question me bitch” Boss yelled angrily, he was surprised at Natasha’s audacity, although this wasn’t the first time, she will be doing this, but he had overlooked it and said it was nothing but it was becoming too much that Mr Mark had called his attention to it. He had sometimes overheard her colleagues’ comments over her behaviors, especially after Clara’s death.

“Apologize now, Nat” Mr Mark said shooting hærd stares at her. She took a deep breath.

“Am sorry boss, it won’t happen again” She force those words out of her mouth and walked out with Kennedy walking behind her.

“Kelvin you see what I was saying, I said Nat has grown wings, she is rebelling, I can see the hunger of revenge in her eyes and behaviors” Mr Mark said, Boss looked up.

“I don’t understand neither, but this has started after Clara’s death” Boss said.

“No, you’re wrong, it started happening when Clara was given the job of getting George” Mr Mark sighted which got Boss thinking for some seconds, he nodded affirmatively.

“Yes, that’s true but it became worse after Clara’s death” Kelvin said nodding his head.

“I think there is more to this, we have to find out Kelvin” Mr Mark said looking at boss, who nodded and they both sipped their drink.Boss’ phone rang, he peered at it, and picked it.

“Hii….. Yes…… We are on it……. Nothing to worry about……. We will go after both of them…… OK no problem…….. Bye…… ” Kelvin\boss told whosoever that was on the phone.

“Woods right???” Mr Mark asked.

“Yeah, he asked how we are going about Goerge’s case, and he promises to paid a huge amount of money” Boss said.

“Okay no problem” Mr Mark answered.

“But that doesn’t mean I won’t take some cash from George and that doesn’t mean I won’t avenge what Michael did to Roberto when he Michael was still at the agency” Kelvin said with a deep frown.

Roberto Carlos was Kelvin Allen’s friend, the both of them were best of friends and popularly know has Carl and Boss respectively. Both were dangerous mafia bosses who engaged in dangerous, naferious and criminal activities, almost all anti crime agencies were on their heels but their efforts proved abortive and futile because they never leave a crack, they were good in their criminal activities, they were trained and also skilled. They were responsible for thousands of death, stealing, transportation of hærd drugs and other dangerous activities.Then the SSA (SPECIAL SECRET AGENCY) were assigned with the assignment to bring both of them to book, which they did with the help of Michael and his partners, but unfortunately Kelvin escape with the help of Roberto and a compromised security agent. Roberto Carlos was later executed because he was found guilty beyond all reasonable doubts while the compromised security agent was imprisoned.

Frederick Douglass is sitting down in his big and beautiful office which had laurels arranged neatly on the shelf. He was sipping an alcoholic drink, when a call from his secretary came in.

“Hello sir, some man is outside there, said you called for him, sir should I let him in” the secretary said with her tiny voice which got Freddie laughing.

“Of course baby” he answered faking a tiny voice, his secretary blushed shyly and the man standing before her in full diguse only his eyes were visible, he huffed.

“Sir, you may go in” she said.

“Lady, you’re so beautiful to fall for someone like my boss, I have an advice for you, stay far away from him or if you have started anything, cut it off, it’s for your own good” He said and smirked. Before she could answer, he walked away into Freddie’s office, She sighed.

“Good day boss” the man said as he pulled off his mask to reveal a very handsome and young face

“Nick, how are you??, sit down, we have business” Freddie told Nick, who sat down.

“Shoot it boss” Nick said as Freddie poured him a cup of the drink he was sipping.

“You are going after someone in Dublin” Freddie said.

“Wow! Finally I have a party to attend, have been bored since, finally someone to kill” Nick said smiling.

“Yeah, but I think this party is gonna be hærd” Freddie said and Nick stared at him.

“Really??? Am not going after the president or am I???” Nick asked as he took his drink.

“No, c’mon not him, someone h-rder and skilled”

“So who is the person, that will be too hærd for me to kill??” Nick asked.

“This man”Freddie said showing him Michael’s picture, Nick was shocked but he covered it up, he felt uneasy as he stared into the smiling picture of Michael.

“Ooooh, I can handle him, just give me his address and when am to strike” Nick said smiling but deep down he was still shocked.

“George is alive and I have to take this man out before I get him” Freddie said.

“No need for explanation, mine is just to get his location and picture, then go for the kill, no explanation” Nick reminded his boss

“Okay, it slipped my mind, you can strike tomorrow” Freddie said as he wrote the address and give Nick both the address and the picture.

“Okay, bye boss” Nick said, while putting on his mask.

“Bye” Freddie answered. Nick walked out, he got to the secretary’s table, he stopped and looked at her, fear was written all over her face.

“Hii, take this, give me a call, will you???” He said as he gave her a card, which she collected frigtened.

“I will” she said fearfully.

“Bye….. What’s your name??” He asked as he wanted to leave.

“Piper” she answered.

“Bye piper” He said and walked out, Piper sighed and put the card into her pocket.

“Ooooooh,Wheels, what have you done..” Nick thought to himself driving his bike.

Michael took his bath after, getting to his suite from the mall, he dressed up in singlet and shorts, ordered for food, sat down brought out his phone and texted Williams.

I want my mom to be thoroughly furnished,with money and other things, please don’t forget her safety too, please start right away, I will call you soon

Okay, got it Williams texted back.

The orders came in, he closed the door after the person that brought it, he checked his time it was still afternoon, the kids won’t be back by now, he started to eat. Then his phone began to ring, he looked at the number, it was a strange number, he picked it after deliberating on picking it up or not….

Episode Thirteen
Hi baby, how are you??? The female voice said sweetly.

Jessica what do you want, why are you calling me, you said it was over, didn’t you??? Michael asked angrily.

C’mon Michael, humans make mistakes, am sorry, I truly am, that was why I called you to apologize, these past months has not been easy for me, am sorry, truly, please forgive me Jessica said crying over the phone

It’s been months you left, we were planning to get married, you left, you insulted and slapped me remember Michael said sadly, Jessica kept crying and pleading for forgiveness, somehow Michael felt she was lying and faking everything but he shoved the thoughts off.

Okay fine, I forgive you Michael said.

Thanks baby, can we meet now, I have missed you so much She said giggling.

Not now, but definitely later, am kinda busy now, later OK Michael answered.

Ok baby i understand, thanks for accepting me back, I love you Jessica said, Michael smiled.

Bye Michael said and ended the call, he looked around suspiciously not wanting to believe that Jessica just called him. He called Williams through video call on his Tablet.

“Hi Wheels” Williams said with smiles immediately he saw Michael.

“Call me Michael, am not Wheels anymore” Michael said laughing.

“C’mon, l love the name, after all that’s the name we all know you has here in the agency, we can’t stop call our best man that” Williams said laughing.

“Okay no problem” Michael answered smiling.

“So Williams, how come you know I have a mother, because the last time I checked I didnt tell anyone, neither did I behave as if I had one” Michael said.

“Yeah, from your roommates and partners, Wonder woman and Batman” Williams answered.

“Wait!! What???? How come they know I have a mother” He asked.

“Back then at the training camp, they told me sometimes you shout from the dream about your mom, they also told me you sometimes cry like you are guilty of something and…..” Williams said and stopped, Michael looked at him suspiciously.

“And what….” Michael asked.

“They both sneaked on you” Williams said.

“What!!!????” Michael shouted, with popped out eyes.

“Yeah, am sorry, they both wanted you to be happy, so with their findings, we found about your mom and your dad, your dad…..” Williams was stopped mid sentence with the look of hatred Michael shot at him at the mention of his father.

“I don’t want to hear anything about him, please not today” Michael said sadly, Williams nodded.

“Oooh OK, I understand” Williams answered.

“Thanks alot” Michael replied.

“Yeah, I found that, she wasn’t guilty of your father’s death and all she was accussed of, that it was actually self defense, because you were saving her from him,then we ordered that the court look back into it but they ignored us, we tried so many method but all were futile, but we kept visiting your mom, giving her food and every other things but we never told her it was from you, at first she declined but later she agreed, but just two months ago, my friend which was also a friend to the president’s friend…..” Williams was saying when Michael gro-ned.

“Williams just go straight to the point” He said making a funny face which got both of them laughing.

“He was granted the opportunity to use prerogative of mercy by the president, so I just listed your mom among others that were brought by his other friends, after investigating on your mom’s case, she got favoured and released” Williams said with smiles.

“I can’t thank you enough, thanks so much, and thanks to your friend who is also a friend to the president’s friend” Michael micmiced, they both roared in laughter.

“Actually it was the president that gave his friend the opportunity, who inturn told my friend, who told me and……”

“Williams!!!! Spare me!!!” Michael shouted jokingly.

“We have done what you said we should do, gotten her a house, car, clothes, maid, driver, car and so on” Williams stated.

“Awwwn, thanks so much” Michael said smiling. “Have you also gotten her a phone, I need to call her today, we need to talk” he added.

“Yes, of course, the maid will teach her how to use it” Williams answered.

“And Williams, when you said we, who are the we???” Michael asked.

“Ooooh we have a branch in Nigeria, the supervisors there know she is your mom, so they were glad to help” he said ” And yes we can trust them” he added while Michael nodded his head.

“Please do get a cook for George and the kids” Michael said.

“Okay no problem” Williams said. ” can I go now, my wife needs me you know” Williams said smiling sed-ctively.

“Ewww, spare me, go away” Michael said while Williams laughed.

“Bye, I will be in touch, wait before I go when will you be returning???” Williams asked.

“We will be signing the deal tomorrow, I might get back either tomorrow or the next”

“Okay, no problem” Williams said.

“Bye and send my greetings to your wife” Michael said.

“I will bye” Williams said and the call ended. Michael checked the time, he wasn’t sure if the kids would be back, but he called.

“I wonder why godfather isn’t calling” Ashley said to her siblings after that had finished eating their meal, they arrived early from school, George was in the sitting room typing something on his laptop.

“He will, am sure he isn’t aware we finished early today” Adrian answered.

“Yeah, but why don’t we call him with dad’s tablet” Alexa suggested.

“That’s a good idea sis” Adrian said, Ashley stood up and went to her father.

“Dad, we need your tablet to call godfather” Ashley told her father who only nodded, she picked it and was about going but stopped.

“You are working to much dad, you didn’t even remember to call godfather, did you???” Ashley asked.

“Baby, I have been so busy, but you guys call him, I will talk to him OK” George said looking at his daughter who smiled and took the tablet to her siblings. They sat down together facing the phone which was placed horizontally, as Alexa wanted to dial Michael’s number, the phone began to ring ‘Best buddy’ was calling.

“Yes!!!!” They scre-med, because it was Michael calling, Alexa picked it and immediately they saw Michael face, they let another round of deafening scre-m, Michael had to blocked his ears with his hands.

“Jeez!!!! Darlingtons, you won’t block my ears someday” Michael said as they stopped their scre-ms, they smiled at him.

“We are so happy to see you” Alexa said smiling, her siblings nodded.

“Same here babies” Michael answered.

“godfather, when are you coming back” Adrian asked.

“Am not sure but maybe tomorrow or the next” Michael said and the kids happy faces fell. “When do you want me to come???” He asked.

“godfather, you lied” Ashley said sadly.

“When was that???” Michael asked because he couldn’t remember lying to Ashley.

“You said before I blink my eyes remember” Ashley said still sad.

“Oh goodness, Ashy that was just a figure of speech” Alexa answered hitting her forehead playfully.

“Yeah, Alexa called it Aggg…….. What again???” Adrian said looking at Alexa who rolled her eyes, Michael giggled.

“Babies, when should I come then??” Michael said.

“Tomorrow, Dad is boring, he works all the time” Ashley said quietly, Michael couldn’t hold back his laughter, because the look on Ashley face was like that of someone stealing something.

“OK, I will” Michael said after laughing.

“Are you serious???” Adrian and Alexa asked same time.

“Yes, I am” Michael answered.

“Hope this is not also a figure of speech???” Ashley asked.

“No baby, it isn’t”

“Okay, we will expect you tomorrow then” Alexa said smiling.

“Uncle, don’t forget our surprises” Adrian said.

“Yes, don’t” His siblings said too.

“I won’t, so where is your dad???” Michael asked.

“In the living room, working” Adrian answered.

“Oooh OK, so any gist???” Michael asked and they squealed.

“Hell yes” Alexa answered.

“Okay, let’s start from you, Alexa then Adrian and lastly my baby girl” Michael said and the kids nodded happily. They began to talk and laugh, after for like what looks like eternity, they rounded off.

“Wow!!! I can’t wait to get back home, have missed alot” Michael said.

“Tomorrow is almost here!!!” Alexa shouted happily.

“Yes!!!” Her siblings responded.

“Okay, you guys go to bed, I will call tomorrow, OK, good night sweethearts” Michael said.

“Bye, godfather” they chorused and left after taking imaginary k-sses from Michael who blew it from the phone. George sat down facing Michael, they also talked and laughed, after some minutes, they ended the call, George went to sleep after checking on his kids, while Michael started to call his mother’s number that was given to him by Williams through Gmail.

“Hello” His mother’s voice said calmly…
