“I might loose it completely and eat you up…raw” Royal whispered into her ear and she swallowed.

Royal chuckled,seeing her face.

“Are you scared right now?” He asked and Angel scoffed.

“Why would I?”

“I don’t know,maybe you’re scared I might decide to…….”

Angel immediately covered his mouth before he could say more.

“Stop it already” She said shyly and looked away.

Royal pecked her cheek and turned against her,the microwave already stopped.

“Careful” Angel cautioned worriedly as he brought out the food.

“I’m eating it here,so please stay with me until I’m done” Angel said.

“I’m not leaving” Royal replied,placing the food right beside her.

Royal walked to the fridge and took a bottle of water and glass,he came back and dropped it for her before leaning on the wall,staring at her as she ate.

Angel raised her head and their eyes met.

“Why are you standing when you can just sit down here?” She asked,gesturing at the tall stool right beside her.

Royal came closer and sat down like she said.

“I have some difficulty in my assignment,I was hoping you would help” She said with full mouth.

“What’s the assignment about?” Royal asked.

“We were asked to do some research on some languages and stuffs” Angel said.

“Then kindly research” Royal replied.

“Why do I have you?” Angel pouted.

“Fine,I’m going to help…slightly” Royal said and she immediately smiled.

“Thank you!”

“Stop talking and eat” Royal muttered,his eyes not leaving her lips.

“You look cute right now” He said soundly and Angel looked at him.

“Huh?”

“Eat up” Royal said and she smiled.

OTELLO’S MANSION**

Christian was on the bed in his room,he had his laptop beside him but he wasn’t even looking at it,he was lost in thoughts somehow.

Until the door opened and he looked up,Ryan entered and closed the door back.

“Hey bro” Ryan smiled.

“What are you doing here smiling? Did something happened?” Christian asked.

Ryan sat down on the bed.

“What are you doing?” He asked.

“Nothing important” Christian muttered.

Ryan fell on his back,looking up at nothing in particular.

“Can’t you just stop?” He asked.

“Stop what? What are you talking about?” Christian asked.

‘Hitting on Angel’ Ryan imagined himself saying that.

He sighed out and sat up again.

“Don’t get heart broken the second time,it’s not good for your health and you know that” Ryan said.

“I’m not getting heart broken……”

“You’re in love with Angel and I don’t even know if she feel the same,I don’t think Royal like you for her either,can’t you just……..” He stopped and rough his hair.

“Anyhow,just don’t get heart broken,just don’t get hurt,I won’t allow like that to happen the second time” He stood up and walked toward the door,he grabbed the doorknob and faced Christian again.

“And then I wish you can tell me what’s the beef between you and Royal,it’s exhausting” Ryan muttered and went out of the room.

Christian sighed out and closed his eyes.

He took his phone to text Angel but then changed his mind.

“Don’t be too clingy” he said to himself but he knew inwardly that once he sees her,he always loose all his self control.

“Fúck what have you done to me?” He groaned.

ROBERT’S MANSION**

Angel’s jaw was placed on her two palms as she stared at Royal uncontrollably while he explained her assignment to her.

Royal raised his head when he didn’t hear her voice anymore only to catch her staring.

“Hey,are you even grabbing anything at all?” He asked.

“Sure” Angel smiled.

“What was my last word?” Royal asked and Angel bite her lips.

“I promise I will listen this time around” She mumbled.

“Estúpida (Idiot/nitwit,in Spanish)” Royal scoffed and Angel raised her brows.

“What’s that?” She asked.

“I said you’re cute” Royal replied.

“Liar! That doesn’t sound like something cute! Tell me what you said” Angel snapped

“No” Royal scoffed.

“Then I’m gonna search it up” Angel said.

“Search up your assignment also then” Royal said

“Okay sorry I won’t” Angel immediately said and Royal scoffed.

“You should listen up,I won’t repeat myself again” He said and Angel nodded obediently.

Royal’s phone started ringing on the table and they both looked at once,Spice name popped up on the screen. Royal dropped the pen in his hand and took his phone,he answered the call.

“Spi……..” He heard Spice’s sniff as he tried speaking up.

“Are you okay?” Royal immediately asked.

“What should I do to myself to make you come see me?” Spice asked in a broken voice and Royal stood up

“Hey,are you crazy? What are you talking about??…..”

“Yes I’m crazy!! I’m crazy in love with you!! Why can’t you see?!!!” Spice screamed.

“Geez” Royal groaned and roughed his hair.

“Where are you?” He asked.

“I’m home” Spice replied.

“I’m coming okay? Don’t do anything stupid” Royal muttered and hung up.

“You’re going to her?” Angel asked.

“She might do something crazy…..”

“Who cares? How can you go to a girl’s house this late? Who knows what she’s planning right now?” Angel snapped.

“I should check on her first doll” Royal said grabbing his jacket,he wore his shoes also and took his phone

“I’m coming with you!”

“No Angel,come on. Nothing is going to happen,I will be back in few minutes” Royal said and pecked her lips before going out.

Angel scoffed.

“Can’t believe he’s rushing out just because Spice called him,seriously” she fell on the bed and sighed out.

SPICE’S PLACE**

The moment Royal came in,Spice didn’t think twice before running to him,she hugged him tightly.

“You really came” She said,burying her face into his chest.

Royal broke the hug,holding her arm.

“Are you okay?” He asked and Spice nodded.

“I missed you so much Royal,I missed you so much that I can’t do without thinking about you,I think I might go crazy,can you just stop avoiding me? I can’t take this anymore” She broke into tears.

“Spice,this is all I can do to make you get over me….”

“Who said it’s helping?! It’s not helping matters at all! Can’t you see how much I love you? Just look at me for once,what should I do to make you love me back? Huh?” She cried.

Royal sighed and wiped her tears.

“Stop crying” He said.

Spice cupped his face and tried kissing him but Royal turned away immediately and she kissed his cheek instead.

“I came because I was worried about you Spice,so please let’s stop it here” Royal muttered.

“You told me you don’t want me to regret right? That’s why you didn’t have s*x with me,,but I don’t care anymore,even if you don’t love me,let’s Just…..”

“I can’t do that either” Royal cut in.

“Why?!!”

“Because I don’t want to” Royal muttered and walked to the door.

“Take care of yourself” He said before going out.

Spice sat down on the couch and broke into tears.

NEXT DAY★OXFORD UNIVERSITY**

Royal sat down in the basketball court,watching Ryan throwing the ball repeatedly into the hoop.

“Hey,are you okay?” Royal asked after the long silence.

“Do I look like I’m not?” Ryan asked without turning back.

“You’ve been quiet all day and now you’re not saying a word either” Royal said.

Ryan sighed and took the ball again.

“I’m fine,I just don’t have anything to say” He muttered.

“You always have something to say,you can tell me if something is bothering you,I won’t ask again after this” Royal said

“Seriously?”

“Of course,how am I supposed to react when I have no idea what is wrong with you?” Royal asked.

“I said I am fine” Ryan said.

“Okay then” Royal stood up.

“Where are you going?” Ryan asked.

“Owen is…….”

“You’re leaving me to go meet Owen? Ryan asked and Royal faced him back.

“I was here with you for almost an hour but you said nothing to me Ryan” He said.

“Why must I be the one who do the talking? You always talk to Owen so loud and clear,you two laugh together,but when it’s me,you’re always careful and distant,I don’t even know if I’m your best friend or Owen,I’m always the one who talk,laugh,do a lot of things,I don’t even know alot about you,I just………” Ryan paused and bite his lips.

“I don’t know maybe because you and my brother don’t get along,it might look like I’m the one forcing things” Ryan said and sighed.

“Stop thinking too deep” Royal muttered.

“But I’m saying the truth” Ryan groaned.

“Then I will start doing the talk,I will bring up conversations first,I will try to do that even though I don’t know how to,so stop acting like a jealous friend” Royal said and Ryan scoffed.

“Who said I’m jealous?”

Royal chuckled.

“Wanna go grab a drink?” He asked and Ryan nodded.

They both walked out.

LIBRARY**

Angel was busy working on what Royal taught her,suddenly someone dropped a cup of milkshake on gge table in front of her and she looked up.

“Chris” She smiled brightly.

“Hey twinkle” Christian smiled and sat beside her.

“How did you know I was here?” Angel asked and immediately pulled in the straw and sipped.

“Refreshing” She moaned.

“I asked your friends” Christian replied and she faced him.

“You’re a life saver” She said.

“No I’m not” Christian chuckled.

Angel faced her book again and took her pen,Christian’s eyes went to her neck and it was empty.

“Your…..” Angel faced him and traced that his eyes were on her neck.

“The necklace” She muttered and Christian smiled softly.

“It’s fine,I know you can’t wear it around everyday” He said.

Angel opened her mini purse and brought out the necklace.

“Here with me anyway” She said and Christian smiled.

“I’m sorry I’m not wearing it today” She said.

“No,it’s fine” Christian said.

ROBERT’S MANSION★8PM**

Angel was busy applying a light lipstick on her lips when Sloane’s call came on her phone.

“Don’t tell me you’re not coming to the frat house!!!” She screamed on the phone..

“Thank goodness my phone is on the table not my ear” Angel said.

“Are you coming? I miss your presence already babe” Paige said.

“Sure I’m coming” Angel said,she could hear the music playing at the background there.

“Waiting for you prettiest” Sloane said and hung up.

Angel checked herself out once again and smiled at the beauty in front of her.

“Hot” She took a quick mirror picture before walking out of the room,her boots making satisfying sounds with her.

She went straight downstairs,Royal was waiting for her in the living room.,he couldn’t take his eyes off her when he saw her.

“Don’t complain” Angel muttered.

“Don’t let anyone touch you” Royal said.

“Bet you won’t even care about me when we get there” Angel scoffed.

“Come closer” Royal said and Angel moved closer.

“I’m really serious doll,don’t let anyone touch you,I don’t know what will happen” He said and Angel smiled.

“Fine,you too” She said.

“Don’t worry about me” Royal muttered,leading the wall,Angel immediately followed.

They got to the bike and Royal took the helmet.

“Catch” he said and throw one for her,she caught it.

“What do you take me for?!” She hyped herself and Royal scoffed,he also used the second helmet before climbing on it.

“Get on if you wanna go” he said.

Angel climbed on and held him tightly,he rode out of the mansion.

OXFORD★FRAT HOUSE**

The whole place was booming so loudly,some dancing crazily to the pop song,some just all over the place,some sitting and drinking.

Angel friends were part of the girls dancing the night away. Only Angel was sitting,she was watching them,Sloane and Paige stopped and faced her at one.

“Join us prettiest” Sloane groaned.

“Just five minutes” Angel said and they pulled her up.

Almost immediately,the song changed to “Twerk” by City Girls ft Cardi B and Angel’s eyes widened.

“I better not do……”

“Go Angel!!” Paige screamed.

“Go prettiest!!” Sloane also screamed and they ended up bringing the attention on her.

“Okay!!” Angel screamed crazily,finally loosimg the rest of the self control she was keeping,she climbed on the nearest table and started the show.

Twerking in rhythm to the song,the boys couldn’t help but to stare,the girls hyping her up to do more,Angel did it in a more crazy way,shaking her pear shaped @ss dangerously,causing a loud scream in the room.

“Gosh,your sister is fire” Owen chuckled.

“Shut up” Royal muttered.

“Sorry” Owen grinned.

“How can Christian escape from her?” Ryan muttered,finally taking his eyes from Angel.

MINUTES LATER**

Angel sniff in the fresh air,she came outside for a while.

“Hey” Christian appeared beside her and she turned with a smile.

“Chris”

“Are you okay? You didn’t drink right?” Christian asked.

“No I didn’t” Angel smiled and Christian bite his lips before making her face him.

“I couldn’t take my eyes off you in there” He said and Angel blinked.

“Oh” She mouthed.

“Can I hug you? I need that badly” Christian said and Angel nodded carefully,it’s just a hug right?

Christian was about hugging her when someone grabbed Angel’s hand and pulled her back,Christian looked up and frowned when he saw Royal.

“Go to the car,we are going home” Royal said bluntly to Angel.

“Hey,what the f**k is your problem exactly? It’s not your first time!” Christian snapped,looking pissed.

Royal faced him with a cold look.

“Should we fight? It’s been years already you know?” He asked and Angel’s eyes widened.

“Should we fight? It’s been years already you know?” He asked and Angel’s eyes widened.

‘What is he saying?’ She thought

“Seriously? That’s all you could say? You want to fight me? You haven’t really changed like I thought” Christian said and Royal scoffed.

“No,I’ve changed a lot,coz I’m done keeping quiet with you looking pitiful while I’m the bad guy” Royal said and walked away.

“I’m….sorry. I will see you tomorrow” Angel said and immediately ran after Royal who was already wearing his helmet.

“Royal…….”

“I’m not in the mood to talk,get on” He cut her off and Angel sighed,she put on the helmet and climbed on the bike,Royal started the engine without saying a word,Angel had to hold him tight because of the speed be was going,but she didn’t say a word and in few minutes they arrived home.

They got down from the bike and Royal went inside,leaving her.

“Royal!” Angel ran after him,she blocked him when he was about climbing the stairs.

“Can you just talk to me?” She asked.

“I don’t want to” Royal muttered.

“I didn’t even hug him yet when you…..”

“But I f**king told you not to let anyone touch you” Royal said.

“I know,but I just thought…it’s a hug,just a harmless hug right? Huh?” Angel muttered.

“I guess” Royal rolled his eyes.

“I’m sorry okay? But you shouldn’t pick a fight with Christian,I don’t think he’s someone who enjoy causing trouble” Angel said and Royal scoffed.

“So I’m the one who enjoy causing trouble? How many times have you heard about me causing trouble? Or you just think of me that way” Royal said.

“I didn’t mean to upset you,I just……..”

“Goodnight” Royal said and went upstairs.

Angel groaned and run her hand through her hair,ruffling it.

“Why is he so mad about it?” She sighed and also went upstairs,she wanted to go to Royal’s room but she had to stop herself,what if he doesn’t want to talk to her?

She entered her room and Pepper jumped on her legs.

“Hey girly” Angel picked the puppy up and sat down on the bed,she removed her boots one after the other and then fell on her back.

“Brrrrh” Pepper barked,rubbing her body excitedly on Angel.

“You must have missed me a lot” Angel smiled,playing with her fur.

Her mind moved to Royal and she groaned worriedly.

‘Should I go? Or not?’ She asked herself inwardly but she didn’t come to any conclusion,she was confused.

She remember what Royal said to Christian and she bit her lips.

“What does that mean?” She asked no one in particular.

She dropped Pepper and went into the closet room,she took off her clothes and entered the bathroom,after taking a warm bath,she put on her pajamas and left the room. She stopped in front of Royal’s room and knocked gently.

“Come in” Royal’s soft voice rang in her ears and she opened the door,she entered and closed back.

Royal already changed also,he was on the bed staring at nothing in particular.

“Are you okay?” Angel asked.

“No I’m not” He muttered and gestured at her to come closer,she flashed him a smile and joined him on the bed.

“I slept so deeply when you spent the night here” Royal said and Angel stared into his eyes.

“What do you mean? Do you have problem with sleeping well?” She asked.

Royal said nothing and wrapped his hand around her waist as usual,he placed his head on her chest.

“You won’t answer me?” Angel asked.

“I don’t want to talk about it” Royal muttered,inhaling her scent.

“You smell so good” He said.

“You too” Angel said and Royal raised his head,looking at her face.

“What” Angel raised her brows.

Royal said nothing and rest on her chest again.

“What if our parents come home and meet us this way?” Angel asked.

“If that happens any day,I will take the blame……”

“Why would you do that?” Angel snapped.

“That’s the best way…..”

“So you mean I should use you to save myself? Why should I do that? I fell for you first….”

“That doesn’t matter okay? So keep that in mind stop talking about it” Royal said and closed her eyes.

Angel started playing with his hair and soon she started hearing his soft sleepy breaths. She stared at his face and couldn’t help but to smile.

“He’s so cute” She muttered and soon she also closed her eyes and slept off.

Royal opened his eyes after that,his eyes focused on her face without even blinking.

‘Why are you even a step sister? Why?’ He thought and touched her eyebrows,down to her nose and then her lips. He lean closer and placed a short peck on her lips,he covered her body properly with the duvet and moved a little bit away from her before sleeping off.

NEXT MORNING**

Kendall was just closing the fridge after getting a drink,she turned and met Robert leaning by the counter staring at her.

“You scared me” She touched her chest.

“You don’t look good,are you okay?” Robert asked.

“I’m fine” Kendall muttered.

“You don’t look fine though” Robert insisted.

“I went to Angel’s room to check up on her and say good morning to her,but she wasn’t there. I went to Royal’s room and there she was,they were sleeping right next to each other” Kendall said and Robert tried to catch up what she was trying to say.

“Then?” He asked.

“I’m just…..I don’t know why that worries me” Kendall muttered.

“I don’t think that should make you worry sweetheart,they probably slept together because they were the only one home until” Robert said.

“Exactly my point,we are not giving them so much attention,yours is accepted,but maybe I should stop coming to your office when I leave mine” Kendall muttered and Robert smiled.

“Can you do that?” He asked.

“I will try,I feel guilty,really guilty. Royal should at least have the feeling of what a mom is like now,but still I’m a workaholic” Kendall said.

“You beat me to it anyway,I was practicing on how to ask if you could quit your job” Robert said.

“Quit?” Kendall asked again.

“Of course,you told me you wanted to run a fashion business once,that slipped my mind and you never remind me again Kendall” Robert said.

“That’s right” Kendall sighed.

“Well I’ve been planning for about a week now,so don’t worry. You can think about quitting your job,I will wait until you make your decision,I won’t force you” Robert said.

Kendall moved closer to him and hugged him.

“Thank you Robert,you’re the best thing that would happen to me” She said and he smiled.

Royal entered and they disengaged.

“Morning” He muttered.

“You okay dude?” Robert asked.

“Yeah” Royal said bluntly,grabbing an apple.

“Where are you going so early?” Robert asked,seeing that he already dressed up

“I’m going out” Royal replied,turning to leave.

“I made breakfast…. ”

“I’m not hungry” Royal said,interrupting Kendall. He used his headset and walked out.

Kendall sighed out.

“Stop sighing that way” Robert said.

“I just feel like…..he still doesn’t like me” Kendall muttered.

“Stop it already Kendall please” Robert groaned.

“But I’m saying the truth,isn’t it obvious?”

“And I told you to give him more time,stop worrying about him” Robert said and Kendall nodded gently.

AN ARCHERY FIELD**

“I’ve missed this so much!” Ryan said,smiling widely as he picked up an arrow,he faced Royal who was also picking one.

“Why did you suggest this anyway?” He asked.

“You said I abandoned you” Royal muttered.

“Oh wow,talking like we are dating or something,I only said you are drifting away” Ryan said.

“It’s the same Ryan” Royal said and Ryan chuckled.

“Wanna bet on this?” He asked,picking a bow.

“I’m not interested,you’re more better than me” Royal muttered.

“That’s a lie and you know that,stop it” Ryan said and Royal chuckled.

“So do you wanna bet all your money?” He asked.

“No,I’m not interested” Ryan scoffed and they both shot at once.

“Whoa,nine!” Ryan said happily until he checked Royal’s own.

“Is that ten or what?” He asked.

“I’m glad your eyes are doing great buddy” Royal smirked and Ryan scoffed.

“Such pride” He murmured.

They continue shooting the arrows for straight one hour.

“I’m hungry” Royal faced Ryan and he smiled.

“Let’s go to a restaurant,on me” He said. “Who is it going to be on if not you?” Royal asked and Ryan laughed.

ALICE’S PLACE★8PM**

Alice’s opened the entrance door and she almost gasp when she was Ryan,he smiled at her and entered.

“What are you doing here?” Alice asked after closing the door.

“Sounds like you don’t miss me” Ryan said and faced her.

“I’m just asking” Alice muttered.

“Your mom isn’t home?” Ryan asked.

“She won’t be coming home to…….” Before she could finish,Ryan carried her off her feet.

“Hey!! What are you doing?”

“I missed you all day” Ryan said,climbing the stairs.

“Why are you going upstairs?” Alice’s eyes widened.

“What are you thinking in your head?” Ryan asked mockingly and Alice bite her lips.

“Nothing” She mumbled.

“You can tell me” Ryan winked at her.

“Drop me” Alice scoffed when they entered the room and Ryan dropped her.

He fell on the bed.

“Don’t sleep on my bed like that” Alice snapped.

“Calm down sexy lips,come on” Ryan groaned and Alice scifced.

“Why are you here exactly?” She asked.

“I told you I came because I missed you a lot,how else am I supposed to explain?” Ryan asked.

“Sounds like a tease” Alice said softly.

“But I’m serious this time around tho” Ryan said and grabbed her hand,he pulled her on the bed beside him.

“Tell me you missed me” He whispered.

“Why should I say that?” Alice raised her brows.

“I just want to hear it” Ryan smiled.

“Seriously?” Alice asked and he nodded.

She gently hugged him.

“Is this enough of an answer?” She asked.

“You’re annoying somehow” Ryan muttered and Alice laughed.

“You didn’t meet with any girl today?” She asked.

“What do you take me for?” Ryan scoffed.

“I’m just asking what I know you can do Ryan,don’t take it serious” Alice said.

Ryan broke the hug and touched her face but then stopped,his eyes fell on her lips and he bite his.

“I think I should go” he muttered,his eyes still on her lips.

“Why? You said you missed me” Alice immediately said.

“Of course,but I’ve seen you now right?” Ryan smiled and Alice looked at him sadly.

“Come on,stay a little more longer” She said and hugged him again.

“Don’t go” She added.

ICE CREAM SHOP**

Angel sighed out loudly,staring at her phone screen as she finished up the third cup of ice cream. She’s been calling Royal but never got an answer,he didn’t come home all day since he left in the morning and she’s deeply worried,she texted him but still the same.

“I guess I should just leave” She mumbled and took her phone,she stood up and walk out of the shop.

It’s just few minutes from here to their mansion,she walked there and also walking back home.

She haven’t gone far when she discovered someone following her slowly from the back,she swallowed hard and increased her pace but seems like the person also increased his,she immediately brought out her phone and dialed Royal’s number but as she walked,her hands were shaking so the phone dropped from her hand and her heart started beating fast.

She started running but again the person followed her and ran ran after her.

“Ahhhhh!!!!!!!!” Angel screamed as she suddenly stepped on a stone and fell. She closed her eyes,not ready to witness what was about to happen until she heard something like a loud punch and kick and then a fall,she opened her eyes and turned to sew Royal dealing with the stalker.

“Get lost bastard” Royal said,giving him the last punch,the black hoodie man stood up with bloody lips and ran away.

Royal immediately rushed to Angel who was always in tears.

“Doll,I’m sorry…….”

“Why did you ignore my calls?!” She shouted

“I didn’t mean to ignore,I was just……..I’m sorry” Royal said.

“Do you ever get worried about me the one I do? I was waiting for you all day,I missed you a lot,I called you countless times,you saw my text too” Angel said in tears.

Royal squatted in front of her and wiped her tears slowly.

“I’m sorry okay? I just,,wanted to stay away today”

“Why?” Angel asked.

“Because…….my feelings are growing too widely,I’m afraid I might mess up and you will get hurt,I don’t want anything like that to happen,I don’t care about myself but then I can’t stop thinking about you” Royal muttered.

“Are you feeling guilty?” Angel asked.

“No,I’m just regretting why I didn’t meet you first before dad met your mom” Royal muttered and bit his lips.

“And now I’m doing something that will definitely hurt you,I’m confused but at the same time I don’t think I can let you go at this point,I’ve fallen more than I can control myself Angel” Royal said and tears rolled down his eyes.

“I’m….confused,are you going to leave me?” Angel asked looking scared.

“No……I’m saying…..I love you” Royal replied.
