Brody’s POV

‘Brody Anderson step into my office please’..The Vice chancellor said aloud and I gulped hærd before going in,side…

‘Sit’..He blurted out and as if on command my butt went down on the sofa immediately..

’Uhhh I was called here sir but I didn’t fight at all apart from the Lewis incident’..I said..

‘No that isn’t what I called you for Brody,when your mother Miranda called me i didn’t want to help her but because she was my good friend i decided to let you continue your studies only on the note that you excel but it seems like you’ve been loosing concentration pretty fast’..He said.

‘I am doing well in studies actually,yes I miss a few classes but I’m actually doing…

‘Not well enough to get you a first class’..He cut in..

‘But i don’t want a first class!!! I just want to make it out of college on my own without any push!! I’ve been pushed to the limit all my life and i won’t let my mother choose what she wants for me again!!!’..i yelled standing up and he smiled..

‘Well you need a first class to run the business??’..

‘I don’t want to run my mother’s business! I want to live my life to the fullest and get married to a girl i really love in this school and there’s nothing she can do about it!!!’..I replied still adamant and walked away with my bag bumping into Payton..

‘You’re here?? What are you doing here??’..We asked each other in unison..

‘Well i was called here by the Vice Chancellor i don’t know why and I’m scared to death about it’..She replied..

‘Okay’..I murmured and turned to leave but she held me back…

‘Hey what’s wrong with you??’..She asked…

‘Nothing I’m just—

‘Payton Carlson in my office now!!!’..The Vice chancellor yelled and she let go of my arm…

‘We’ll discuss later when we get home’..She murmured and brushed her l-ips against mine and went into the office…

I’m loosing concentration??…

No way!!…

Payton’s POV

‘Good afternoon sir you requested to see me??’..I muttered as i opened the large oak door only to see a middle aged man in front of a shelf..

‘Payton Carlson??’..

‘Yes sir’…

‘Please take a seat’…He ushered and I hesitated a little bit but sat down anyway..

‘Well i called you here cause you’re on a college grant and to keep your college grant you’re expected to be doing well in your studies,you’re a very bright student Miss Carlson but lately you’ve been loosing concentration and there’s a really drastic downgrade but in your GP’..He said and I gasped loudly..

‘So..so you mean I..I..so you mean I..so you mean my grant has been slashed??’..i asked in a stutter…

‘You have until a month to make your GP high again or I have no other choice than to slash your grant’..He replied and I nodded.He waved his hands for me to leave and i did backing up the tears in my eyes…

This is all because of my relationsh¡p with Brody..

Ever since we’ve been dating I’ve lost concentration but i do my best to make sure I do well in my tests..

This is one reason I hate College grants..

Once they see a slight change in your result they threaten you even though it isn’t that special…

‘Hey’..I murmured lightly as i walked into the house meeting Brody surprisingly studying…

‘Hey’…He murmured not raising his head from the book…

‘Well the Vice chancellor claims I’ve lost concentration and the school is threatening on slashing my grant’..I muttered plunking on sofa beside him and his head shot upward..

‘They can’t do that!!! You’re the best student i know in this school,fine you’ve lost concentration but you’re the best student I know so that’s just being unfair!!’..He exclaimed..

‘Well what can i do?? If I don’t make the university cut I’m going to have to leave’..i said with tears glistening in my eyes…

‘Shut up you’re not going anywhere!! The school year is almost over and you’d be okay’..He said as he cupped my face in his hands..

‘Brody??’..

‘Mmmh??’..

‘Do you think we’re having problems in school because of our relationsh¡p??’..i asked and he k-ssed my tears away…

‘Yeah I think so too but we’re gonna overcome right?? Instead of having s*x almost everyday let’s limit ourselves and study instead…I love you and I want you to be happy’..He said and i hugged him..

‘You’re the best Brody’…

Payton’s POV

‘Mmmmh morning’..i murmured in my sleep as i felt Brody’s l-ips on mine..

‘Payton you have a class so go freshen up’..He said and I yawned loudly as I propped myself up on the bed tucking the sheets under my arm…

‘But I’m tired! I didn’t get enough sleep last night’..I whispered rubbing my eyes continuously and he smiled..

‘Sorry I guess it’s my fault for making you help me with my assignment and having s*x with you afterwards but you know what I’ll make it up to you so go bathe’..He said and I yawned again…

‘But I’m tired and I think I’m gonna be sick’..

‘Sick??’..

‘Yeah sick cause I feel like Shit’..

‘You’re not pregnant are you??’.

‘Haha very funny Brody’..I remarked and he threw the towel at me..

‘Go take your bath or do you want me to bathe you??’..He blurted out loudly..

‘You’re such a pervert sometimes’..I scoffed and ran to the bathroom feeling the need to puke.I emptied the contents of my belly into the toilet bowl and took a cold shower after that to cool my body..

I think I’m coming on with a fever or something…

Brody’s POV

Payton came downstairs with her hair packed up in a loose ponytail and I nipped at my bottom lip seeing the dark circles around the corner of eyes and a wave of guilt hit me as she plunked down on the kitchen chair..

‘Coffee??’..I asked raising the coffee pot..

‘Yes please’..She replied and I poured the coffee into a mug and handed it over to her..

‘I made Bacon and eggs’..i offered and she chuckled softly…

‘Since when did you learn how to cook??’..

’I’ve always known how to cook,just too lazy to do it,Mom taught me how to be a man in the kitchen ever since dad left us…I..I’ve always been the one to make her dinner since she refuses anything from the chef’..I explained..

‘Mmmh me likey’..she murmured raising her mug in a fit of mockery and I placed a plate of bacon,toast and eggs in front of her…

‘Eat up and I’ll drive you to school’..i said and her head shot up with a portion of eggs in her mouth..

‘But you don’t have any class today’…she replied and a smirk tugged at the corner of my l-ips…

‘Yeah right but you’ve been doing so much for me and as a token of appreciation I’m gonna be your minion for the day..I’ll help you carry your books,pack your lunch,feed you and drive you back home to give you a m-ssage’..I said and she lunged into my arms immediately..

‘You’re the best boyfriend in the world Brody Anderson’…

We both chuckled loudly as we walked out of the lecture hall only to be taken aback by the two female figures standing with their arms crossed…

‘Mom?!!’..Payton and I exclaimed in unison..

‘Brody what are you doing with this betrayer?!!’..My mom asked and I sighed deeply..

‘Look mom it’s not what you think,Payton and i still…

‘Still what?? Brody don’t tell me you’re still in love with her not after everything she’s done to you?!!! What is wrong with you anyway?!! I thought you gave me your word!!’..She scre-med.

‘Mrs Anderson my daughter made a mistake and she’s clearly sorry for it!! She’s been living with the guilt for the past two years and it seems like your son has….

‘Even Animals are talking oh my God!!! Brody I’m so disappointed in you and as for you Mrs Carlson keep your child away from mine!!’..She yelled grabbing me by the arm and Payton’s mom scoffed..

‘Keep yours away from mine too!!’..
