” codelia I guess he’s your father” madam Cassie said.

” where’s the DNA test?” codelia asked. ” here is it” the doctor said and hand the DNA test to her and madam Cassie ran out. “I will be right back” codelia said and ran after madam Cassie.

“you don’t have to run like that, remember you need rest” the doctor said and also ran after them.

“why am I even crying?” Madam Cassie asked herself and clean her tears with her palm.

“maybe is because she has finally meet her father, what will be my fate now” madam Cassie said and burst into fresh tears.

codelia stand at a corner looking at madam Cassie, she shaked her head in a pitiful manner.

“I will be a selfish woman if I don’t allow her go with her father, but i will be alone if I allow her go” madam Cassie said.

“you will never be alone, am always here with you, you’re my mother and nothing can change it” codelia said.

“yeah, she is right am not planning to take her away from you, I will just perform my responsibility as a father to her, you’re a rare gem” the doctor said.

” I know” madam Cassie said and clean her tears with her hand.

“No she’s your daughter you can take her with you” madam Cassie said. “no I can’t possible take her away from you” the doctor said.

“Aunt, I don’t understand you again, am not going anywhere” codelia said. ” Yeah, she’s yours” the doctor said and codelia moved closer to her and engulfed her in a bone breaking hug.

” stop crying am not going anywhere, you are my mother, it’s not possible for me to Leave my daughter” codelia said and madam Cassie nod her head.

” have you hug your father?” Madam Cassie asked. ” no mum” codelia replied.

madam Cassie disengaged from the hug and smack her ass playfully. ” go and hug your father, you need to reconcile with your father, an very happy for you” Madam Cassie said and codelia ran to hug the doctor.

“Hello” Anna said through the phone. “Anna I have been calling your number for the past five hours” mike said.

“yeah, am tired of this place” Anna said. “Anna what happened to you, why did you sound like this, did Chad hurt you?” mike asked.

” Chad almost kill me today, we need to act fast before this guy finally kill me” Anna said.

” Am sorry my love” mike replied. ” I will see you tomorrow we need to discuss and plan our next move am tired of this house” Anna said.

” Alright my love, I have gotten enough information that can help us, get the lady” mike said.

” that’s good, I need to rest I will see you tomorrow” Anna said and end the call.

she crawled down from the bed and crawl to the bathroom. ” Chad I will soon get you” Anna said and opened the bathroom door.

The next day.

Chad came out from the bathroom, he has only a towel lying dangerously on his wa-ist, he rob his body with a white towel , before creaming his body gently.

he took the hair dryer and dried his hair. A knock came at the door. he ignored the door and light his cigarettes, rose pushed the door and Walked into Chad room.

“goodmorning brother” rose greet. “morning how may I help?” Chad asked puffing out smoke from his mouth.

” common brother, I just came to check on you” rose said. ” am sure you can see that am okay” Chad said.

” Yeah, Anna didn’t cook this morning and I went to her room and saw her sleeping what did you do to her yesterday?” rose asked.

” Rose am not in the right position to answer that question go and ask your mother” Chad replied.

” common, have you forgotten am the one talking to you” rose said. ” yeah, I knew am not in the mood to talk you can use the door” Chad said.

rose pull a chair out and sat on the chair. ” what are you still waiting for!?” Chad asked.

” common, am your sister, you can talk to me, you aren’t yourself since you came back from the hospital yesterday, I am the only one you have you can talk to me am your only sister” rose said.

” I will advise you to go out now” Chad said. ” what’s your problem Chad, why are you always keeping your problem to yourself, why are you so selfish” rose said.

” rose you’re bitting more than you can chew” Chad said. ” you can’t do anything to me” rose said.

” rose, I will explain to you later I just wanna be alone” Chad said. ” what did you do to Anna, I felt pity for her when I saw in her room this morning” rose said.

” rose go and ask her” Chad replied. ” Alright am going to my room take care of yourself” rose said.

” I need to see her” Chad said and rose turned back. ” who did you wanna see?” rose asked.

” It’s none of your business” rose said. ” Hope you aren’t planning to kill the person you are talking about” rose said.

” mind your business” Chad said. ” Arrongant f**l, I really pity the woman that will get marry to you” rose said and ran out.

Chad took his phone and dial Chad number. ” hello John!” Chad said. ” boss” John replied.

” hope you guys are monitoring her?” Chad asked. ” yes boss” John replied. ” tell her, i am not coming to office Today, i wanna catch her red handed” Chad said. ” Alright boss” John replied.

” really, hope all his well?” his wife asked. “what am about to say might get you angry but, it wasn’t my fault” doctor Steve said.

“Steve talk” his wife said. ” you remember the lady I told you about” the doctor said. ” codelia right?” his wife asked.

” yes codelia” doctor Steve replied. “what happen to her?” his wife asked. ” she’s my daughter” doctor Steve replied.

” you must be joking, my husband is very funny” his wife said and burst into laughter.

” Am not joking” doctor Steve said and scratched the back of his head nervously.

” why are you still insisting that you aren’t joking, dont too me you cheat on me” doctor Steve wife replied. “but I didn’t cheat in you” doctor Steve said.

“you aren’t a faithful husband, so you don’t love me all this while, you cheated on me, wait is it because I don’t gave birth, but we both angry to adopt Quinn” the doctor wife said.

” No Nancy you got it wrong, I have never cheated on you” the doctor said. ” how did you want me to believe you?” the doctor wife asked.

” the girl in question is 23 years now, i know her mother before i met you, I don’t even know she’s my daughter until yesterday” the doctor said.

” how did you know she’s your daughter?” Nancy asked. ” I carried out a DNA test on her” doctor Steve said.

“congratulations to you are you planning to bring her mother in, so I can pack out?” Pamela asked.

“no Nancy, I can never do a thing like that, and moreover her mother is nowhere to be found” doctor Steve said.

” what did you mean that she is nowhere to be found?” Nancy asked and doctor Steve explained everything to her.

” oh poor girl, go and bring her home” pamela said. ” I should bring her in?” the doctor asked.

” Yes, go and bring her” Nancy replied. “aren’t you mad at me?” doctor Steve asked.

“no I understand” the wife replied. “thank you my wife” doctor Steve said and hugged his wife happily.

“you’re welcome darling, when will she packed in i can’t wait to have her around” Nancy replied.

“unfortunately I can’t bring her in” doctor Steve said. “but why?” pamela asked.

“I can’t take her away from her Aunt” doctor Steve said. “that’s true, but I wanna see her” Nancy said.

“that’s not a big deal, I will bring her tomorrow” the doctor said. “no problem and congratulations to you, I am very happy for you” Nancy said.

” thank you very much, am glad you understand” the doctor said. ” marriage is all about understanding, so we need to understand each other” Nancy replied.

” there’s another thing I wanna discuss with you” doctor Steve said scratching the back of his head.

“what’s it again?” Nancy asked with a smile. “Am thinking of appreciating Cassie for taking good care of my daughter” doctor Steve said.

“who is Cassie?” Nancy asked. “codelia Aunt” doctor Steve replied. “that’s a good idea” pamela replied.

“I want to open a mall for her” doctor Steve said. “yeah, that’s nice and she deserve it, because it’s not easy to train someone else child” Nancy said.

“thanks for understanding” the doctor said and hug his wife.

“I went to the hospital and the doctor told me, they have Discharged codelia, is she in the house?” Jeff asked pamela.

” yes she’s in the house” pamela replied. ” Alright, thank you” Jeff replied and walked into the house.

” Mr Jeff good afternoon” Madam Cassie greet. ” how are you doing aunt?” Jeff asked.

” what!! did you just called me Aunt?” madam Cassie asked. ” common, you’re my mother inlaw to be” Jeff replied.

” I don’t get you, did code accepted to marry you?” madam Cassie asked. ” no, she’s carrying my baby and that automatically makes her my wife” Jeff replied with a smile.

” you are very funny” madam Cassie said. ” where’s codelia?” Jeff asked. ” she’s in,side her room sleeping, you will have to wait for her, if you aren’t in a hurry because she need some rest” madam Cassie said.

” Alright, I will wait for her, I brought some groceries for her” Jeff said. ” wow, thank you that’s very thoughtful of you, we don’t even have groceries in the house anymore” Madam Cassie said.

” pamela” madam Cassie called and Pamela rushed to the sitting room. ” Aunt am here” pamela replied.

” I told you not to refer to me as aunt again am old enough to be your mother” madam Cassie replied.

” Am sorry mom” Pamela replied with a smile. “take, Mr Jeff brought some groceries for us” Madam Cassie said and gave the groceries to pamela.

“thank you very much sir” Pamela said.

“brother, where are you going to?” rose asked. “I want to visit a friend” Chad replied.

“A friend, the Chad i knew doesn’t have a friend” rose replied and Chad scoffed out loud.

“bye and take care of yourself” Chad said. “wait up.. you promised to tell me what’s bothering you” rose said.

“rose I didn’t promised you” Chad said and Vivian came down from the staircase. “good afternoon” Vivian greet with a smile.

“rose!” Chad called. “yes brother” rose replied. “what’s this lady still doing here?” Chad asked.

“she just came back from the hospital today” rose replied. ” And how’s that my business, I don’t wanna see her in this house when I get back” Chad said and Vivian burst into tears.

” why did you hate me so much” Vivian said, Chad ignore her and walked out of the living room.

” I want you to erase any feelings you have for him, he doesn’t love you and you deserve better” rose and Vivian nod her head.

” Sam you will have to parked the car outside the company” Chad said. ” Alright boss” Sam replied I parked his car outside the company.

Chad brought out his phone and make a call across to John. ” boss” John said from the other end of the call.

” have you told the workers not to greet me when I get in as I requested?” Chad asked. ” yes boss!” John replied and Chad came down from the car.
