she felt his hand crept under her top touching her naked flesh.

Theo’s smirk grew wider when he notice the scared look on her face and that didn’t stop him.

His hand kept moving upwards until suddenly she stopped it by holding onto his hand.

“Am going to let you touch me but you have to let me touch you back. I have no experience like you but I don’t mind learning” Carolyn said, having a cheeky look on her face too.

“Why don’t I start by taking off your uniform” she added and began to unbutton his shirt.

A startled Theo quickly got off of her, telling to get away from him.

He stood watching her, feeling outrage since he didn’t bargain for her to be this eager, he had only wanted to scare her.

A smiling Carolyn got off the bed and stood in front of him. ” Let’s start again, Theo. Let’s be friends” she said stretching forth her hand to him but he ignore it.

“I have no intention of being friends with you”

“Apart from being able to read you, I did nothing else wrong. So why do you still push me away”

“Why exactly do you suddenly want to be friends? Just this morning, you were scared of me! What change your mind?” He asked curiously.

To help and stop you from killing yourself, that’s why am doing this…she thought silently.

“Does that matter? The important thing now is that you and I get close as a brother and sister should. godfather will surely love that” Carolyn inject waiting for his reply.

“You and I are far from being brothers and sisters. So quit day dreaming and get the hell out of my room” he lash out at her but Carolyn shook her head, grinning through her teeth.

“You really are a pickle”

“And what’s that suppose to mean?”

“It’s just an endearment used to call someone who is weird ” Carolyn answered.

“So you think am weird?”

“Not only weird but looking at you closely, I just realise that- that-” she stopped starring at him dazely.

“What?” Theo asked as she walk towards him.

“That you are more good looking up close” she said making him grind his teeth in anger.

“Anyway, I won’t give up Theo. You will end up being my friend, I can assure you of that. See you later, Pickle” she said and left the room, feeling triumphant for once.

❁ TWO DAYS LATER ❁

“Are you done? Theo told me to come get you or he’s going to leave with the chauffeur” Cynthia said as soon as she walk into Carolyn’s room.

Immediately, Carolyn picked up her bag pack and dash out of the house after waving off at Cynthia.

Dressed in a short butter skirt topped with a white shirt and black jacket, she ran out of the mansion making sure she didn’t ruin her new school uniform.

Theo who was already in the car also wore the same attire as her.

“Good morning” she greeted as soon as she got in but he didn’t reply. Ever since her declaration to be friends with him, he’s been avoiding her like the plague and only talk to her if his father is present.

But that wouldn’t deter her from achieving her goal, more than ever she will do her best to get close to him.

Moving close to him in the car, she peered down into his phone.

“What has taken up your attention that you fail to notice my new look?” She asked and that made him look at her.

“How do I look in my new uniform?” She asked eagerly and his answer was to ignore her as usual.

“Until when will you keep on ignoring me? Your action only makes me more determine if you must know” she said wanting him to say something but instead, he told the chauffeur to stop.

He pulled her out of the car as soon as the chauffeur stopped by the road side.

“What are you doing?” Carolyn asked.

“You came to school yourself the other day right? Am sure you can find your way there again” with that said, the driver drove off leaving Carolyn standing by the road side.

“Pickle head jerk!” She yelled out in annoyance.

❁ ROYAL HIGH ❁

Xavier was alone in the room used for the dance club. As soon as Brandi walk in, A smile lit his face.

When he had got a call from her telling him that she wanted to see him, he had been so happy.

Xavier being a very attractive guy have often gotten invitation from other girls but ever since he lay his eyes on Brandi, he has never wanted any other girl apart from her.

“Am glad you came. For a while I thought you will ignore me just like have always done to you” Brandi spoke when she got to where he stood.

“I dare not” Xavier said starring at her with so much love in his eyes. Brandi who notice this decided to use it to her advantage.

“Do you still like me, Xavier?” She asked and immediately, he gave a nod.

“Then, will you help me do something?” Brandi asked.

“Whatever you want”

“Even if it has to be seducing someone?” Brandi asked surprising him but Xavier quickly mask his expression and ask instead.

“Who do you want me to seduce?” Xavier asked.

“Holly”

Carolyn stood in front of her new class mate and did a quick intro of herself.

“One question, do you have a boyfriend?” A male student asked while the other male student echoed his question.

“I don’t” Carolyn replied shyly.

“Then can I be your boyfriend” another male student said.

“Quit asking her questions and leave her alone, Jack!” June yelled at him from where she was seated.

“Are you annoyed that you aren’t as beautiful as her?” Jack taunted which got her throwing her book at him.

“Enough questions. Let the new girl get some peace ” the teacher spoke and quickly June and Scarlett waved at her to come seat with them.

Carolyn made her way to the girls missing the admiring look being sent her way.

“Am glad we are in the same class. We are bound to have so much fun together” June said excitedly.

“Are you really cold face sister?” Scarlett suddenly ask.

“Did Theo tell you about it?”

“No. The word came from Holly, his girlfriend but do tell us” June prompt.

“Am more like his godsister. His dad is my godfather ” Carolyn explain.

“That explains it” June said looking wistful.

“Now tell us how you feel living in the same house with such a hunk? It surely must feel like heaven right?” Scarlett asked but Carolyn shook her head.

“It’s more like hell” she muttered and quickly covered it up by changing the subject.

“What class is Theo, I thought we will be in the same class since we are in same grade ”

“He’s in the next class and let me tell you that that’s where all the hunk and popular student of Royal high are. I hate the school for putting me in this boring class” Scarlett complain.

❁ THEO CLASS ❁

Brandi and Danica sat on the same seat watching Theo who was seated alone, listening to music through the aid of his head set.

“He’s just so hot” Brandi muttered.

“And so is Ross” Danica added starring lustfully at Ross who was talking to Derek and Xavier.

Holly walk into class and took her seat beside Theo.

She pulled off the head set wanting him to notice her but a angry look from him got her putting it back in place.

She had a sad pout on her face when a glance at the others got her noticing Xavier gaze on hers.

Holly looked away from him and stole another peek only to see him still watching her.

Being friends with Theo, she has always kept her distance from Ross and his friends and they did the same too but this sudden behaviour from Xavier is something she can’t comprehend.

What is he after? She thought as she lay her head on Theo shoulder showing everyone that she’s only attracted to him.

Terry suddenly ran into the class breathing heavily.

“There’s a new girl in the next class and she’s- she’s very pretty” Terry announce making the guys curious and the girls jealous.

Ross who knew who it was couldn’t help but to smile.

“What’s with the smile?” Derek asked and when Ross was about to reply, Terry next words stopped him from doing so.

“Theo, why did you lie about her being ugly? She’s extremely beautiful” Terry said as he pulled off Theo’s head set.

“Stop exaggerating Terry, she’s not as beautiful as you claim” Holly snap.

“How come Theo knows the new girl?” Brandi was the one who ask this question.

“That’s because she’s his godsister” Terry answered as everyone began whispering amongst themselves.

Ross couldn’t help but to feel angry. Just like always Theo always have the upper hand but this time, he won’t let anything separate him from Carolyn.

❁ SCHOOL CAFETERIA ❁

“The school cafeteria is so-” Carolyn stop, lost for words.

“It should be after all we are paying a hefty amount as school fee” Scarlett stated.

“Royal high is a school for the most wealthiest people in Australia. You will hardly see a student from a middle class family studying here ” June explain.

“Oh”

“But the best part of all is the two hotties in our school. They are one of the reason why many students have enrolled in our school” Scarlett said her face brightening with excitement.

“Why don’t you take a seat while we fill you in on things” June suggest as the three of them found an empty table to seat.

“First is Theo. Being his sister you must know how rich and powerful his father is and there is his friend Terry and girlfriend Holly. Terry’s father is a well known lawyer while Holly’s parent deals in investment ”

“Apart from their wealth, Theo and Terry are considered one the most handsome guys in school. Although Theo’s beauty clearly beats Terry, I just can’t help but to fall more for Terry ” Scarlett let out dreamily.

“To get involve with Terry means heartbreak” June lightly warn

“I don’t care, I will be satisfied as long as he notice me which is why I need your help” Scarlett said in return.

“Why do you need June’s help?”

“Cause June is Terry childhood friend. He’s the only girl I know who Terry relies on” Scarlett explained.

“We aren’t that close, stop exaggerating” June tried to deny but Scarlett scoff at her.

“They are tight friends, Terry often ask her to help him get rid of unwanted girls” Scarlett continued.

“Enough about me and Terry. Why don’t we talk about Prince Ross” June said which got Scarlett talking immediately.

“Apart from being a handsome crown prince, he’s also got his sexy friends. Xavier and Derek, those guys are every girl’s dream”

“Not mine” June said quickly which got Carolyn laughing.

Just then everyone began to scream at the entrance of Theo, Terry and Holly.

Carolyn couldn’t deny that Theo looked dashing but a frown settled on her face when she saw Holly by his side. Still as clingy as ever.

Theo ignored her and went to another table with his friends.

“Gosh, she’s pretty” Terry murmured, his gaze on Carolyn.

“Stop drooling over her!” Holly snap at him.

“Leave me alone. Theo, you don’t mind if I go after your sister right? She’s just too pretty for me to resist. Give me her number” Terry said.

“I don’t have it” Theo replied which seem to please Holly.

“What do you mean by you don’t have it? She’s your sister for crying out loud!”

“godsister. They aren’t related one teeny bit” Holly corrected.

“Fine then, I will get it from June and- what’s that frog prince doing with them?” Terry said and that got Theo starring at Carolyn’s table.

Ross and his friends had joined the three girls and judging by the way Ross kept starring at Carolyn.

Theo could tell that he’s interested in her. That devious smirk of his appeared on his face when he thought of a way to finally get rid of Carolyn.

❁ FINLEY MANSION ❁

Back at home, Carolyn made her way to Theo’s room and after knocking thrice she decided to go in.

There was no sight of him when she came in. He had spent the whole day ignoring her and them being in different class made things difficult.

Carolyn couldn’t help but to like the song being played on his speaker.

“Batter up by baby monster” she read out the name of the artist from his song playlist.

“Is he interested in k-pop. Then I should also do the same” she said to herself.

The bathroom door open startling her, she turn to see Theo looking hot in just a wrap around towel.

For a while her eyes lingered on his bare chest but Theo’s question got her out of her delulu state.

“Why are you in my room?” He asked.

“I-I- just came to- ask you for help” she stuttered looking away from him.

“What help?”

“I heard that apart from being one of the famous student in school, you are also the top student which is why I need you to tutor me in math” She said, grinning at him.

“Get out” he said softly but menacingly.

“Common, help me!” She cried out when he walk past her to his closet.

“Are you that dumb that you can’t learn it yourself?” Theo asked and she pouted looking cute.

“Everyone I know is dumb when it comes to math and am one of them”

“Then you will have to find a dumb teacher to teach you cause I won’t!” He said and began to head back to the bathroom after taking some fresh clothe when Carolyn went after him.

She made to grab his hand but ended up pulling the towel around his waist___
