Chapter Eighteen

Tracy gasped as Lydia laughed at Freddie
She knew Freddie to be someone who doesn’t get angry but now that he is really mad at Lydia something bad is going to happen
“Tracy am going to k*ill your friend”he said angrily and stood up
Tracy stood in front of Lydia immediately trying to stop him and the worst part of it was that Lydia still kept laughing and sticking her tongue out at him
He gr-aned angrily and pulled Tracy away
Lydia laughed and hit his chest as he stood in front of her
“listen and listen good Lydia if you are going to stay in this house you must not cross my path because I will k*ill you”
“I will k*ill you”Lydia mimicked and it took everything in Freddie not to hit her
He looked at Tracy and she gave him a pleading look
He closed his eyes and turned to leave
“Katy dumped you Katy dumped you because you are a looser”she sang and Freddie got really mad
“Freddie no”Tracy y*elled as he pushed Lydia so hærd she fell on the glassy table and it broke
Tracy gasped as Lydia’s eyes was closed
Freddie sighed and ruffled his hair
Lydia suddenly burst into laughter and opened her eyes
Freddie and Tracy sighed in relief and Tracy quickly helped her up
“again again again”she y*elled and Freddie rolled his eyes before walking up the stairs
Tracy ordered the maids to clean the place up as she ordered a new one
She and Lydia walked upstairs to change their clothes

AT NIGHT
They all sat in the living room waiting patiently for Tracy’s father
Different thoughts were running through their minds
They kept thinking about their father except Lydia whose thought was on ice cream
She was wondering how the combination of all flavours will taste like
Tracy’s father walked in with a smile on his face and Freddie rolled his eyes
“it worked”he y*elled happily and his wife jumped on me
Tracy hugged him too happily and Freddie just smiled knowing Lydia is stuck with them
“Lydia come here”Tracy’s mother said and she walked to them
Tracy’s father hugged her and she giggled
“thank you so much Lydia,if it wasn’t for you I would have loosed all I worked for for years in just minutes,thank you so much”
“am Lydia”Lydia said and clapped
“you can also stay in this house and do you want anything Lydia?”he asked and she nodded happily
“what?”
“I want ice cream with different flavours and a big one”
“okay then”Tracy’s father smiled and placed an order for it

Everyone was seated at the dinning with a good meal in front of them except Lydia who has a giant bowl of ice cream with different flavours in front of her
“Lydia are you sure that is what you want?”Tracy’s mother asked and she nodded happily
“I hope you d*ie of brain freeze”Freddie said glaring at her
“I thought you were excited about her staying here”Tracy’s father said
“yes that was before she knock Katy out and she broke up with me”
“oh my God Katy broke up with you?”his mother said surprised
They have been dating for years

“hey it’s not my fault that she cheated on you and at the same time dumped you for a better guy that is more caring and not heartless like you”Lydia snapped back and he gr-aned
He threw his fork at her and she bent down
He stood up angrily and walked away
No one said anything still surprised about what happened
Lydia giggled and continued with her ice cream

They were done with dinner and they head to their room
Lydia wasn’t feeling sleepy so she stood up and walked out of the room since Tracy was fast asleep and she had no one to talk to
She walked down the stairs and head to the garden
She got there and saw Freddie there and he was backing her
She shrugged and walked to him
She sat beside him and he turned to her
He scoffed and was about to stand up and she held him down
He sighed and sat down
“I can’t sleep so I came here”
“so?”he asked angrily and she smiled
“am sorry about what Katy did to you,she doesn’t really deserve you,forget what I said earlier about you being heartless,you are really a great person and deserves someone better”
“wow thanks Lydia”he said and smiled
“good to see you smile Fred”she replied and ruffled his hair
“and am also sorry I knocked her out”
“am actually glad you did cause if you didn’t she won’t get mad at me to the extent I will go to her house to beg her so am glad you did and thank you”
“wow am so happy to spoil your relationsh¡p”she said happily and Freddie shook his head with a smile
Classic Lydia
An heavy wind suddenly blew and Lydia shivered
Freddie smiled and took off his jacket
He wore it for her and she giggled happily seeing how big it was on her
“am so tiny”she said and clapped her hands which didn’t come out of the jacket
She did it again seeing how the jacket was moving
She laughed and Freddie smiled
He looked closely at her and for once actually noticed how cute she looks
She smiled back at Freddie and he realised he has been starring for long
He looked away nervously and Lydia suddenly placed her head on his laps
He smiled and watched her
“my stomach hurts”she said hitting her stomach gently and Freddie laughed
“of course it would,you ate a lot of ice cream”
“but it was so sweet”
“yeah and thanks for helping dad out anyway”
“you are welcome”
“Fred”
“yes?”
“what’s the name of the guy Katy cheated on you with?”
“I don’t know his name”
“okay”
They remained silent for a while and Freddie heard Lydia’s soft snores
He smiled and starred at her face
“pretty”he muttered and sighed
He carried her up in a bridal style and walked into the house with her
He walked up the stairs and walked into Tracy’s room to see her standing up
She sighed in relief as Freddie placed her on the bed
“I was just about to look for her,thanks”she said and he nodded
“you are not mad at her anymore?”
“yeah she apologised and we are good”he said and smiled
“she can be surprising at times”Tracy said
“yeah she can”Freddie said with a smile and starred at her face
“bro”Tracy called and folded her arms
“what?”
“are you crushing on Lydia?”
“what?…no”Freddie said and scratched the back of his neck and laughed
“you are lying”
“huh?”
“when you lie you scratch the back of your neck and laughed”
“no”he said and did it
He sighed and Tracy smiled
“Oh my God you are crushing on Lydia”she almost scre-med and he glared at her
“okay I don’t know,stupid feelings just started this night and I don’t know what to do,don’t tell anyone”
“sure”
“if Lydia ever knows she will be so happy cause she has always asked me if she will ever find someone who will love her”
“well it’s not love at least not yet”
“oh my God not yet?”Tracy asked and giggled
“f-ck stop it Tracy, I have no hope with her anyway,mum and dad will never ever agree to it cause of her problem and she is in love with some dude in her school”
“yeah that’s true,maybe you should let go”
“yeah maybe I should”he muttered and starred at her
He covered her well and sighed
“good night”he said and walked out
Lydia smiled in her sleep as she heard the door sound
She was awake all along

“Tracy get up you have a date today”Lydia y’elled pulling Tracy and Tracy f’ell off the bed
She gr-aned in pain and Lydia laughed
“Tracy get up its almost ten”Lydia y’elled and Tracy sighed and checked the time
“Lydia its six in the morning”
“really I thought it was ten”she said and giggled
“lets go back to sleep Lydia, it’s Saturday”
Lydia nodded and fell back on the bed and closed her eyes
HOURS LATER
“Tracy its nine already get up”Lydia y*elled and pulled Tracy
Tracy gr-aned and sat up
“okay I don’t understand you Lydia it’s my date not yours so why are you so excited?”
“I don’t know”she said happily and pulled Tracy up
She p*ushed her into the bathroom and smiled
She walked to Tracy’s closet and opened it
She smiled at the number of dresses there
She saw a black gown and smiled
It had diamonds on it
She picked it and threw it on the bed
She picked a white jacket to it cause it was an armless gown
She went to the shoe rack and picked a golden sandal
She giggled and waited happily for Tracy
Tracy walked out of the bathroom and paused seeing the clothes on the bed
She smiled and Lydia noticed her presence
“hurry and her dressed Tracy”she said standing up and she pulled Tracy to the bed

Tracy was finally done dressing and Lydia smiled seeing how good she looked
Lydia pulled Tracy to the dressing table and made her sit
“what are you doing Lydia?”she asked she Lydia picked up two combs
“relax my mum does it to my hair sometimes”
“Lydia don’t cut my hair”Tracy warned and she laughed
“I won’t”
She suddenly turned the mirror and Tracy frowned
“I don’t trust you Lydia”
“am not doing anything bad trust me”
Tracy sighed and let her
Lydia smiled and brushed down Tracy’s hair
She braided a part and added gel to it
She let the other part fall and brushed it down
She picked the scissors and Tracy gasped
Lydia frowned and she let her
Lydia trimmed the tip and it was pretty
She smiled and dropped it
She picked the lip gloss on the table and applied it on her lip
She smiled and turned the mirror
Tracy gasped seeing how beautiful she looked
“oh my God Lydia”she gasped
“don’t you like it?”
“I love it,thank you so much”she said and hugged Lydia happily
“wait what the time?”Tracy asked
“its ten already”
“that means Daniel might be downstairs Lydia “Tracy said in fear
“yeah so?”
“Freddie is going to ki*ll him”she said and ran out of the room making Lydia run after her
They got downstairs and Tracy sighed in relief seeing that Freddie was still glaring at him
Freddie turned to Tracy and glared at her
“where do you think you are going?”
“Freddie please come on”Tracy said and he glared at her
“no you are going no where not especially with this guy,he looks like a player”
“am not”Daniel said
“shut up”he said and Lydia smiled
She walked to Freddie and stood so close to him
She smiled and he looked at her confused
“Fred please let her go”she whispered and he looked at her surprised
“really?”he asked and she nodded
He sighed and walked to Daniel who was shaking in fear
He held his shirt and pulled him up with it
“if you hurt my sister or you let anything happen to her or you touch her I swear you are going to be six feet under the ground,is that clear?”
“yes sir”he said and he let go off him
“thank you”Tracy said and hugged him
She and Daniel walked out and Lydia clapped her hands happily
“why are you so happy Lydia?..it’s not your date?”
“yeah I know am happy because even if I can’t go on dates at least my friend can”
“ohh what makes you think you can’t go on dates Lydia?”
“cause dates are always with someone special and a girl said I can never find my special someone because of the way I am so that’s why”
“well Lydia will you like to go on a date with me?”
“really?”Lydia gasped happily
“yes”
“yes”she scre-med happily and clapped her hands
Freddie smiled and held her cause she was spinning too much
“woah am dizzy”she laughed and he also laughed
“I will go get ready”she said happily and ran up the stairs
Freddie smiled happily before heading to his room to get ready

Freddie sat patiently waiting for Lydia in the living room
He was dressed in a blue jean and white shirt with a black jacket and white sneakers
She suddenly walked down the stairs dressed in a simple gown and sandal
She let down her hair for the first time and Freddie smiled at how beautiful she looked
“are you ready?”he asked standing up and she nodded
“you look really really pretty Lydia”
“thank you”she said and he nodded
“what about your mother?..won’t she ask of you?”
“she went out with dad this morning”
She nodded and they both walked out
They entered his car and he drove out of the house
He kept glancing at Lydia as she played with her fingers and was giggling
Where could he take her to?
Where will she like?
He thought as he drove
She is not normal and he doesn’t know where she will wish to go
“Lydia”he called and she looked at him
“where have you always wish to be Lydia?”
“I don’t know but have always wished to see what a park looks like”she said and he nodded
A park it is
He turned towards the direction and smiled
He is going to make sure they have the best time ever
They got to the park and they got down
“where are we?”she asked holding his hand tightly
“the park”
She scre-med happily and Freddie covered her mouth so she won’t draw attention of the people
“lets go”she yelled and pulled Freddie
“let’s ride that”Lydia yelled pointing to the Ferris wheel
Freddie smiled and they walked towards it
They took the ride and many more and Lydia was scre-ming happily
She has never been this happy in her life
Freddie won a teddy for her and she was the happiest girl on the world because of that
They bought ice cream and Lydia was really really happy
They were done and they head back to the car
Lydia was playing with her teddy as Freddie thought of going somewhere calm and quiet

The city’s garden
He drove there and parked his car
“this is not home Fred or is this our new home?”she asked and turned to him
He got down and she also did
He walked to her and held her hand
They walked to the front of the water fall and Lydia smiled
It’s was getting late already and the Stars were starting to come up
“Fred”Lydia called and he turned to her
“yes?”he said and she suddenly hugged him
He smiled and hugged her back
“thank you”she said and he felt so happy like never before
“you are welcome”he said and she pulled away
She giggled and sat on the grass and he also did
They both watched the water fall
“Fred”
“yes Lydia?”
“do you think I can ever find that special someone who will love me?”
“sure you would Lydia”
“will Santa ever love me?”she asked and he sighed sadly
“I don’t know Lydia”
“dates are always done between two people who have special feelings for each other and we are on a date does that mean we do have special feelings?”she asked and they both turned turned to each other
“I…I….”Freddie stammered nervously and scratched the back of his neck
Lydia smiled sadly and nodded before looking away
“I guess I will never find the special someone then”
“no no don’t say that”Freddie said and turned her face back to him
“okay what if I was your special someone will you accept me?”he asked with his face so close to her that they were breathing the same air
They were both steering at each other not saying a word as Freddie slowly placed his l-ips on hers
