Elia watch how Zulu keep trying to explain that Lucian is a bad person ” you love Alexander not him” she mumble for the fifth time that day and I have to say, its becoming annoying, I don’t even know this Alexander of a person, why the hell should I believe what she is saying.
I nod my head ” okay ” sitting outside the house, I sip my juice, my gaze not moving from the beautiful trees, I feel free out here.
” Elia?” Zulu called, gaining my attention, i look at her as she smile ” do you want to see the wh0le forest, you look interested in it ” nodding my head my eyes beam up.
” can I? I hope Lucian won’t get angry if you do ”
Zulu wave that off ” he is in battle ” she lean close ” I mean if I don’t tell him who will?”
” okay ” standing up I follow her into the forest, I couldn’t stop staring at the beautiful trees, flowers and how lively the forest is, birds flying, animals of different spices jumping from one place to another.
Stopping at a river I bend down and stare at my reflection, tucking my hair behind my ear I sit down then smile ” it’s so beautiful Zulu, how did you find this place?”
” not me ” she sit down ” Alexander found it ”
” oh” I just realize that she smile whenever she talk about this Alexander of a person ” do you like him?”
” huh?”
” you know what I mean, do you like Alexander ”
Zulu smile ” of course I do, he is my friend….I plan on protecting him you know”
” really?”
Zulu nod ” he likes you a lot ” that made my face heat up ” I know you are confused as to if you even like Lucian but trust me, you belong to Alex”
” I don’t know him ”
” he knows you ” Zulu smile ” he asked me to bring you here, I think he has decided to see you before going to battle ”
” battle?”
Zulu nod ” he is fighting in this current war too”
I look around, stand to my feet then exhale ” you mean he will be here any minute from now” Zulu nod her head ” like right now?” For some reason, I want to look my best, my hair is in a messy low pintail and the dress is short and stupid green in colour ” I have to go ”
Turning around I bump into someone body, his hands rest on my shoulder, pushing me away just a little to look at his face, my head hurt immediately that I have to withdraw completely, few more seconds the pain stop and I can look at him with ease.
” sugar ” his dark eyes burn into mine, I had to look up to meet them, he is tall” sorry am late ” I look behind him to see four men standing there, looking all sad.
” what do you want from me ” frowning I watch him smile before pulling me into his arms, and one thought hit me, he smell nice, really nice.
” am going to battle today silly” he withdraw a little ” you should give me a hug, k-ss me and wish me good luck ”
” but I don’t even know …..” He place his finger on my l-ips, shutting me up, his eyes seem pleading and for some reason my body move on its own, hugging him, I don’t feel any resentment, it feels like I belong in these arms, feels like am bounded to him.
He withdraw and k-ss me, gently, not too deep, just simple k-ss on the l-ips that lasted for just three minutes, when he break the k-ss my face must be as red as a tomato” good luck?”
” thank you sugar ” after that he turn around ” Sebastian and vix take care of Elia……Zulu you are coming with me ” when he said that I frown for no reason.
” why her?” The words came out before I could even stop myself from saying it, it seem like I have never liked Zulu before…Alexander shoot me a confused look, they all did making me frown ” what!”
” we will talk later sugar ” and with that they vanish out of sight, turning my attention to the other guys, one of them with dark hair and blue eyes run to my direction, hugging me and crying ” milady!!!!”
Why is he crying?
Alexander smile the moment they land ” why are you smiling?” Zulu asked and I had to clear my throat, even as she lose her memory she still feels something for me, am sure when I asked Zulu to come with me she felt jealous but she will be confused as to why ” Giles ” I mumble as we climb our horse approaching the battle field ” what’s the news about this battle?”
” the vampires are winning, the ghouls back up is really handy, Norman army is left with only one thousand men”
Cash interject ” this battle won’t last long ”
Nodding my head my gaze land on the field, seeing them fight, dragons that still has ability to fly are flying, throwing fires from their mouth ” the moment Norman dies I want you to send a message to the ghouls to start attacking the vampires, that’s when I will step in”
” will you kill Lucian?” Zulu ask
Turning my attention to her I smile ” I will Zulu, I plan on eating his heart ” my gaze move back to the battle that’s currently happening…. We stop on a mountain, high enough for us to see how the war is going on ” this Lucian of a man has crossed all the limits ”
” don’t kill him” Zulu mumble and I frown, looking at her it suddenly hit me, she nod her head ” I like him ” her words made me to stop seeing clear for a moment, I watch how her face turn flush ” you can beat him up but please don’t kill him…let him live ” she get off the horse then bend down ” please ”
What sort of Nonsense is this?
” he doesn’t love you” I frown and she nod ” you still want to save his life!”
She look up to meet my gaze ” you said it yourself, love make people do foolish things”
