I woke up feeling excited maybe because today’s gonna be a better day I said to my self.

I went to freshen up and proceeded to meet the family downstairs for breakfast.

We finished taking breakfast and I told them I was going out to meet a friend.

Don’t be late dear my brother said, OK I won’t. I said and left I already called my colleagues to give them the info about our move and where to keep them.

Lisa C’mon be fast let’s go on time so we won’t return late mum called from the sitting room.

Coming mom she said as she rushed downstairs to meet her mom who was waiting impatiently for her.

So let’s go now She told her and they left the house. bye son bye bro They both said. They got out and met the driver waiting by the car smiling as usual.

Lisa’s mom was the first to enter the car while she closed the door for her. the driver went to take his sit too and ignited the engine.

Lisa entered the car and was about using the seat belt when she felt something rise within her which means danger. She stopped doing it Mom let’s go take a Cab The driver can go in,side or besides I should just drive the car.

C’mon you know your dad won’t allow that. Buh why the sudden change of mind Mrs Thompson asked Lisa glared at her and she understood immediately.

The driver got off the car and Lisa went on to drive they zoomed off to the salon.

On the way, So what’s wrong this time Mom asked

I don’t know mom buh I have a bad feeling the driver has something evil to do to us.

So the stupid daughter of his decided to drive all by herself ryt? Let’s see who wins.

I told another friend of mine to trail them and make sure they don’t notice him. I did that so he’ll disconnect some wires in the car which will make the car malfunction. And they’ll need to take a cab which I’ve taken care of too. I smiled in satisfaction when I received a call from who I sent telling me it has been done.

I smiled in satisfaction and poured myself a drink from the bottle.

🔰Lisa🔰
We got our hair fixed and it’s evening already before we could finish with our hair because there were many patronizers.

We got to the car and I ignited the engine then boom we were on the road.

We got branched at an eatery to get some meals Cause it’s late already and it’ll take time before the meal get cooked

We got to the car and dropped the food at the back sit I tried igniting the engine buh it didn’t work after several attempts I gave up buh was still wondering what could have happened.

Mom called Whom to repair it and he arrived few mins after.

He checked the car and told us it has been tampered with.

What!!! Mom and I said when did that happen and we didn’t know.

Is that why I’m having this feeling someone wants to harm us?

No problem just fix it we’ll be waiting.

We were waiting and the man told us it’s gonna take a little longer. And it’s getting really late

Mom decided to call dad to get us another car since we’ve got no option.

The weather changed immediately and in no time rain started pouring we ran to a place for shield buh since it’s getting much we decided to go home in a cab.

We ran to the car to get the things we got and saw a cab coming we flagged it down immediately and we got in.

I didn’t even had the time to check who the driver is we just told him the address and he said it’s fine.

I started shivering due to how w-t I am buh mom wrapped her arm around me.to keep me warm.

The driver took another route suddenly and I shouted at him this isn’t the way so where are you taking us to.

Calm down ma’am there’s traffic in the direction we’re supposed to take and so to make it faster I decided to take this route.

It’s okay just get us home on time my daughter is freezing mom told him buh I still don’t believe what he said I started feeling feverish jeez! I hate getting cold.

Drive faster man I yelled at the driver who only smiled and told me to calm down buh I got more angry then out of nowhere he brought out something in a paper and blew it on us which made us fall asleep immediately.

🔰Raymond🔰

I smiled evily in satisfaction as I saw both mother and daughter sleeping In the room I kept them.

So this is all you’ve got you little wench I said to Lisa who I know can’t hear me.

We popped champagne with my friends and puffed out smoke. Then Lisa’s Phone started Ringing I went to her and took the phone from her to check the caller and it’s my brother. I proceeded to check her mom’s bag for her phone only to find out it’s down.

I took the phones from them.

I went home after having fun with my friends so they won’t suspect me.

I got home and met Max and my brother in panic what’s happening here I asked pretending not to know what’s wrong.

I can’t reach my wife and daughter he said I can’t find them I cried out and I looked at max whose eyes are swollen he must’ve cried a lot.

I smiled inwardly😁.

Let’s involve the cops to help us find them bro.

And who told you I haven’t done that he said.

Let’s wait for the result.

I told him and left for my room I instructed my boys to inject them with a sed-ctive so they won’t wake up anytime soon.

🔰Max’s POV🔰

It’s really annoying and my heart is really heavy as my mom and only sister are nowhere to be found.

I was in the sitting room with Lisa’s friends Nathan and Violet I had to tell them both and Math has almost gone crazy I could tell in his attitude that he’s really in live with my sister.

His parents and dad has known themselves within this few days that my sibling has gone missing and they’re really making efforts to find them.

I really appreciate their efforts dad hasn’t been going to the office he spends most of his day a the station all in the name of looking for our lost ones.

We were all sulking when dad entered the living room looking pale he hasn’t been eating for days like wise me buh I was forced to have a meal today by the love of my life. I really love this girl I said to my self .

Dad we’ll find them I said to him as I went to sir beside him patting his back.

His phone rang and he checked who the caller was and it’s an unknown number.

He sat upright and picked it call after some mins What!!! He said and stood up….

POV 🔰

I received a call from a strange number and the person told me he’s with my wife and daughter.

What!! I said and stood up okay fine thanks for helping me find them where are you I need to pick them up.

Chill man I didn’t find them I kidnapped them he said which made me weak immediately as I sat back on the couch dejectedly.

I need you to release the company papers to me and all your properties entirely and I need a ransom of 50BN. If you think that’s too much then I’ll be forced to come get em my self.

Failure to provide that, consider your wife and daughter dead he said which made me plead buh before I could say anything else he hung up.

Dad what’s wrong who was that the children asked. It’s the kidnapper he’s asking for the company papers and 50BN as ransom whaaaat!! They scre-med at the same time.

Dad where’s the number we need to track it down. We can’t just loose our company like that who does that.

That’s a good idea Nathan said.

Let’s go report at the station before anything else I told them. We got to the station and I narrated everything to the cops and investigator.

They tried tracking the phone buh it’s all in vain they tried sending spam messages to the number buh he isn’t opening it to read I also tried calling the number back it’s switched off.

Why is this happening to me who wants my downfall I thought amidst tears.

Raymond came to meet us and asked about the latest update which I told him and he spranged to his feet immediately I narrated the ordeal to him. Cops please do something this can’t be happening

what do we do bro. He asked me I can’t release what he asked for you know those are my life properties.

Okay let’s do this How about you go hand over what he requested to him buh we’ll go with the cops so they’ll get arrested.

That’s a good idea the cops agreed and ordered their boys to be prepared.

We went back home as my mind wasn’t at rest cause I was busy thinking on what to do.

But why do I have this feeling it’s someone close to me that’s doing all these. I mean who else wants my downfall if not the person that envies my success.

I laughed inwardly as I keep making fool of them all and there’s no one to suspect me. I have to tell the boys to be more prepared

I ordered for more men with the help of my friends and I told the one calling to use another number to calk my brother to give him the date and address to bring the doc-ments.

I was still giving them orders when my brother rushed to me.. I put on a panic face what’s wrong again I asked feigning pretence.

See he’s send me the address and date okay brother trust me we’ll overcome him I assured him just get the doc-ments and money ready with the cops. I need to go somewhere I told him and excused myself.

I headed to the place I his his bunch of fools and injected them so they’d wake up. I sat on the chair in the front waiting for them to see what’s happening.

I batted my eye lashes as I tried opening my eye buh due to the headache I’m having I closed it back and finally opened my eyes only to see the devil himself grinning I sat up immediately and tapped mom who woke up immediately and was surprised to see our hands tied and we looking tattered .

She was more surprised when she saw Raymond.

Whaaat!!! She yelled

Did you kidnap us you evil person. What have we done to you.

Calm down woman you know nothing yet. He ordered someone to bring a phone and he played the record of the calls he had with dad which made me flinced you did that?

Why am I not surprised by your evil acts mom you see what I’ve been telling you.

Raymond how could you do this to your brother he loves and trusts you so much.

How dare you try to ruin his happiness.

I’m sure he doesn’t know who you are yet.

Mom kept ranting and I gro-ned in pain.

Mom we need to act we can’t let him ruin us like this.

~•The D day•~

Mr Thompson drove to the place with Max and Raymond.

They got to the place and the cops were told to stay at alert.

He received a call that keeps instructing him on what to do.

Drop it on the basement you’re seeing and you think you’re smart by bringing the cops along ryh? Hell no

So watch out.
He was still on call when he saw all the cops being taken down by gunshots as he dropped the bag of money and doc-ments.

He ran to meet his son to protect him from being shot when he noticed ray is missing.

Dad I think ray is the one doing this don’t trust him max warned.

C’mon how could you say such a thing can’t you see he’s the one helping us.

Dad don’t trust him too much he might be the one Max yelled.

They were arguing And max sighted someone taking the Doc-ments and bag of money they both ran to meet him.

Where are they they both said at the same time and the man scoffed.

Follow me he ordered and they obeyed Fearfully.

They were taken to a room and they saw both of them tied on a pole looking tattered and pale.

They both rushed to them and tried loosing them up when they heard don’t you dare .

They turned to the direction of the voice and

Mr Thompson was shocked to see his brother whom he trusted so much.

Raymond why did you do it he asked in disbelief buh ray only laughed hysterically

You thin you’re the only on who can be successful right? He asked as he told him the reasons why he did that.

He ordered his guys to tie Max up with them while his brother will have to got tell the cops to back off.

They obeyed and the cops were also told not to bother.

Raymond told his brother to announce at the company that he’d be the new CEO of the company because he’s gonna be away for years. Which made the staffs wonder what could be wrong since he has A son old enough to manage the company.

They were suspicious buh dared not to talk.

Day turned to months and Raymond is already managing the company which is falling apart already as their partners refuse to partner in the absence of the real company owner.

School has resumed and Lisa hasn’t been able to resume which makes her friends panic.

💐At the hiding place💐

Mom I need to save us let me do it. Lisa yelled at her mom who keep calming her down .

You’re 19 for Goodness sake I can’t loose you now.

Lisa all will be well max assured her sis too.

See you need to return to school I need to as well let me use what I have to set us free.

Something isn’t right why the sudden silence of Lisa’s father I have a feeling he’s been threatened violet suggested.

We should visit him today after school.

We went to Lisa’s house and knocked on the housedoor.

We were surprised to see Lisa’s dad at home

Why didn’t you go to work?

And you look pale what’s wrong.

He peeped outside to see if anyone’s coming he pulled us in,side and narrated everything to us.

We promised to help him out after making sure he at something and cleaned himself up.

We left his place and went on our ways discussing on how to help him out.
