( BARBEQUE PARTY )
Draco never let go of JoJo’s hand till he got to the base of a staircase.
He gave her a emotive gaze, and though it’s the first time she’ll be seeing such gaze in his eyes, something moved in her.
“Thank you” she whispered, not taking her eyes off his own.
He raised his hand to her face and started wiping the tears on it without saying a word.
“Draco” she called in a whisper, but no answer came from him, he just kept wiping.
“Draco” she called again, and he stopped wiping to look into her eyes.
“I’m sorry I didn’t check on you yesterday, I know that’s why you’re mad at me, can you stop being mad?, Please?” She said gently, and he sighed.
“I’m not mad cos of that”
“Then….why?, Huh?” She asked.
“Are you hurt anywhere?” he asked to avoid the question.
“I’m fine, what about you?, Your stomach” she said and raised his shirt, revealing the bandaged tummy.
“Does it still hurt a lot?” She asked, and he gently took her hand away from his shirt then he pulled it down.
“I’m ok” he said, and she smiled.
“The money you gave them, I promise to pay back and…
“I didn’t lend you, it’ll be useless in my account anyways, think of it like I threw it away” he replied.
“Huh?’
“Yeah, I’m never gonna take it back, so go back to class ok?” He replied, and she smiled.
“The class I missed…
“Let’s meet in the library after classes” he interrupted and started walking away.
“Knight!” She suddenly called, and he stopped.
She smiled as he turned back.
“Kent, it was you… right?” She asked.
He kept quiet, and she smiled.
“Thanks… for everything” she said, and he started walking away again.
He was unaware of when he smiled lightly as he climbed the stairs.
JoJo smiled till he went out of sight, then she brought out his wristwatch and started admiring it as she walked away.
Kelly came out of a corner and smirked with a devilish smile.
“Catching feelings?, Good for me” he said and smiled again before climbing the stairs too.
He suddenly stopped when he remembered the girl who punched him at the road the other time.
“Who’s she?, Just my kind of girl” he thought and remembered her line.

“Badass huh?” He grinned and pocketed his hands before climbing completely.

ROOFTOP**
“I’m listening” Walton said immediately he got there with Luke.
Luke hit her lip and Walton quickly looked away from her.
“Can you stop biting your lip? ” He said, and Luke quickly took in her l-ips.
“You have answered my question” Walton said.
“You see… I never wanted anyone to know” Luke said slowly.
“Really?, I thought we promised never to keep anything from each other when Lustre took us into the band?, Do you know how disappointed he’ll be right now?” Walton replied.
“Walton I’m….I … I’m sorry” Luke said and bit her lip again.
Walton suddenly grabbed her shoulders and pushed her to the wall.
“Ah!” She gasped girlishly, and Walton started coming for her l-ips.
“We’re in… school” she whispered.
Walton suddenly stopped and closed his eyes, then he released her.
“I’m sorry for not telling you, don’t get mad at me please” she quickly said.
“Let’s go back to class” Walton heaved
“You’re not mad at me, right?” Luke replied worriedly.
“C’mon” Walton said and took her hand, descending the stairs with her.

BACK IN CLASS**
“Where have you been?” Luna asked as JoJo settled down beside them.
“Talking things out with Draco” JoJo smiled and Snow held her skirt tightly under the table as she heard that.
“But…are you dating him?” Winter suddenly asked, and JoJo’s eyes w¡dened.
“No we’re just…. friends” she quickly replied.
“Girls are ready to slaughter you” Luna said, and JoJo looked around to see all eyes on herself.
They’re not friendly ones, they’re hateful glares.
“You should expect such, the demigod of this major payed your bills in fifty folds, I’m jealous!” Winter said funnily.
“It’s nothing to be jealous about, he just helped the needy” Snow suddenly blurted, and they all turned to her.
“Huh?” JoJo said .
“I mean…he only helped, it doesn’t mean you both are dating” Snow smiled.
“Oh… yes” JoJo replied, feeling suffocated.
Snow smiled, and Luna exchanged glances with Winter.
Draco came in, and everyone went silent as he walked to his seat.
“Heard Butter got into an accident last night” Winter said.
JoJo swallowed hærd.
“You mean the popular soloist?” Luna asked.
“Yeah” Winter replied.
“I wonder if he’s really handsome” Luna said.
“Trust me you’ll fall for him at first sight ” Winter replied.
“I’d rather fall for food”
JoJo laughed nervously and her eyes suddenly met Draco’s, he was staring at her.
She blinked, staring back till he looked away.
The lecturer they’ve been expecting finally came in, and they all went silent.
“You guys would have seen the update on the major group about our yearly historical cruise trip, it’s coming up next month, and it’s India this year” he announced.
“I can’t wait!, I’ve always wanted to visit India!” Winter gushed.
“Me too, I’ve always wanted to try out their sari” Luna replied.
“I’ll look absolutely beautiful in a sari” Snow said proudly.
“Of course!” JoJo said.
“Thanks kitten” Snow smiled.
“I think JoJo will look cuter in a sari” Luna said.
“Huh?” JoJo said surprisingly.
“Yeah , sari fits slim girls too” Luna replied.
“Thanks” JoJo smiled, and Snow’s smiled disappeared immediately.
Luna smiled secretly when she saw that.
“But before the trip, the history students dinner and awards night will come up next week!” The lecturer announced.

“Full details will be out on the group, enjoy!” The lecturer said and left the class.
“I’m hosting a barbeque party tonight at Jay’s restaurant, everyone is invited!, You can also invite your friends!” A student announced.
Winter and Luna stuck hands.
“JoJo you’re coming right?” Winter asked.
“Yeah, I should” JoJo replied.
“Snow, you coming?” Luna asked.
“Not sure” Snow replied as they stepped out of class.
“See ya tonight at the party!” Luna and Winter waved.
“You’re staying in Winter’s unit?” JoJo asked.
“Yeah yeah!” Luna winked and hanged her arm on Winter’s neck, taking her away.
“You aren’t going home yet?, We weren’t told to come to the center, remember?” Snow asked JoJo.
“Yeah, I’m meeting Draco at the library, he’ll teach me the class I missed” JoJo replied, and Snow got jealous immediately.
“I’ll teach you instead, why don’t you go home?”
“Huh?, No he’s waiting and..
“I’m your bestie, right?, Believe me and leave, I’ll teach you everything tommorow before classes will start” Snow said and started taking her away.
“But I should go and tell him that I…
“Don’t worry, I need to pick something in the library anyways, I’ll just tell him for you, go home kitten” she winked.
“Oh… ok” JoJo smiled and started leaving.
When she finally went out of sight, Snow made her way to the library.
He found Draco by the right immediately she entered.
She smiled and walked to him.
Draco looked up but was surprised to see her instead of JoJo.
“Hey demigod” she waved.
“Where’s JoJo?” He asked without smiling.
“She went home, she said she prefers if I teach her instead” she replied.
“Really?” Draco said.
“You don’t believe me?” Snow smiled, and Draco started packing his books.
“Leaving already?” She asked.
“Why don’t we read together?” She offered, standing up too.
Draco finished packing and took his bag, then he made to leave but she held him
“I want to spend time with you, can’t you spare me ten minutes?” She asked.
Draco looked at the contact, then at her.
“Get your f**king hand off me” he glared, and she slowly let go.
He left the library immediately, and she fell back on the chair.
“JoJo touched him, but I’m not allowed?”

JOJO’S PLACE**
Victoria was already expecting JoJo back home so she’d break the big news to her.
An anonymous person payed up her loans, and she can’t be more joyous.
Now she can start her knitting business with the little she has.
She was still jubilating when Ignatius came in.
She turned away from him, and he dropped a package on the table.
“For you” he smiled, and she turned to him, wondering the cause of the smile.
“Check it out” he said, and she rolled eyes at him before picking the package.
She opened it, and her eyes w¡dened when she saw a gorgeous gown and expensive heels plus the popular trending purse.
Being a s–ker for all those, she tried hærd to hide her surprise before facing him
“Why all these?”
Ignatius smiled again before shifting to her.
He sat beside her and before she knew it, he k-sed her hærd, making her eyes w¡den.
She quickly broke it, and he giggled.
“Are you drunk?” She asked.
“The son of my friend is coming home next month, I’m planning to matchmake JoJo with him, he’s exactly what she needs” he smiled.
“What!”
“Yes, and you dare not say no, else you know what I can do” he laughed and stood.
He started walking into his room.
“Better talk to your daughter” he murmured and shut the door.

HOSPITAL**
Viola entered the ward and Butter quickly sat up, thinking it’s JoJo.
“Hey idol” she smiled, dropping a packed food beside his bed.
“Who’re…you?” He asked in confusion.
“Your secret fan, i caught the rogue last night” she replied brightly.
“Oh, James told me…the superwoman?” He said.
“My name is Viola” she replied, and he looked at her from her hair to her toes.
“What?”
“You don’t look like a girl”
“I get that a lot” she replied, and he nodded.
“How are you feeling?” She asked, touching his leg.
“Better” he replied, and she smiled.
“I brought you food”
“I don’t feel like eating” he replied curtly and James came in.
“Whoa! Thanks for coming Viola” he smiled.
“It’s ok” Viola replied.
“JoJo isn’t coming?” Butter asked.
“I’m not sure, something actually happened in school today” James said and showed her the video of how the loaners embarrassed her.
“What!” Butter said shockingly, but when it got to where Draco payed the loan, he threw down the phone.
“I need to go see her”
“There’s a BBQ party tonight at Jay’s, I’m not sure if she’ll come though” James replied.
“I’ll go” Butter said.
“Your leg isn’t fine yet!” Viola and James said at a time.
“I don’t care” Butter replied stubbornly.

JAY’S RESTAURANT★ 8PM**
Students of Stanford from various major were already present, but those from history are the most numerous.
There are barbeque dishes on every table, then several bottles of different alcohols.
Music was playing softly, and everywhere scents like fun when Luna came in with Winter.
“My name is Luna!!!” She s¢ræmed, drawing attention.
“Lunatic”Winter replied beside her as everyone laughed.
“Luna, Winter!” JoJo called behind them, and when they looked back to see her, they smiled.
“JoJolove!” Luna gushed, giving her a warm hug.
“Thought you wouldn’t come, you sounded unsure the other time” Winter smiled, hugging her too.
“I want to have fun too” she said, breaking the hug.
“Babes” Snow’s voice mode them look back to see her just coming in
“Pretty Snow!” Winter gushed, blowing her k-ses.
“Hey cutie!” Luna said casually.
“Kitten!” Snow winked at JoJo, and she smiled as they all settled on a long table.
Sunflowers came in next, and they sat on the same table, far from them though.
“Walton!, Luke!” Snow suddenly waved when they came in.
“Unbelievable” Winter said.
“Wanted to have fun too” Luke said, sitting with Walton on the same table.
“Butter came?” Cora said surprisingly, and all eyes turned to the door.
Butter came with James, and JoJo’s eyes w¡dened.
Luna’s eyes w¡dened too, but she quickly stopped it and drank from her beer.
“My baby!” v×rgiπia stood happily.
👥 His leg must hurt a lot!
👥 He even looks cute while limping!
👥 I missed you!
He limped to the table and sat beside JoJo.
James sat beside Snow.
“James!” Winter waved, and he smiled lightly.
“Hey” he waved back, and her hand went down.
“Love is a cobweb believe it or not” Luna whispered.
“I wanna become a spider woman then” Winter replied, and Luna laughed.
“You didn’t reply my messages” Butter whispered in JoJo’s ear.
“I’m…I was….
“I’m sorry about the k-s, you didn’t give me the opportunity to apologise yesterday before running away” he whispered again, and she looked at him.
“How’s the leg faring right now?, I’m sorry I couldn’t come since daybreak, I was just…i dunno” She said cutely, and he smiled.
“It’s ok, I’m looking at you right now so I’m fine”
v×rgiπia was already burning with immense jealousy on her seat.
They started eating and drinking while chatting with each other, and Snow kept expecting Draco to show up, same with JoJo.
“Our demigod hates hangouts, ion think he’s gonna come” the host said.
“Wrong!, He’s here!” Winter said, and Draco truly came in.
Snow smiled largely immediately, and JoJo smiled cutely too, staring at him till he sat in front of her.
His eyes settled on her immediately, and he didn’t bother to look away.
JoJo started staring too, and when Snow noticed their eye contact, she got restless.
“Hey kitten!” She suddenly called, and JoJo faced her.
“Huh?”
“Can you keep looking at me?” Snow said.
“Why?”
“Just don’t look away from me” Snow replied, and JoJo blinked.
Snow looked at Draco and saw he has stopped staring already, he’s now glaring at Butter.
She smiled slowly.
“Demigod, I wasn’t really expecting you to come” James said.
“I know” Draco replied, and Abigail smiled, resting her chin on her palms as she stared at him.
“Aww, isn’t he so cute?, I can die for him!” She gushed.
The devouring of barbeque continued, accompanied with chats and gists.
“Let’s lighten up this place more, why don’t we do questions and answers?” Luna suggested.
“F**cking cool!, Once asked, you must answer” Winter added.
“Who’s going first?” Luke asked.
“Anticlockwise please” Walton replied.
“That’ll be from me” James said and faced Snow.
“Do you have a crush in Stanford?” He asked.
“Yes” she replied, staring at Draco.
“Who?” James asked.
“Only one question is allowed” Luna said, and James sighed.
“JoJo are you crushing on Draco?” Snow asked flatly, and all eyes fell on her, even Draco’s.
JoJo swallowed hærd and looked at Draco who was also staring back.
Luna looked at Snow somehow and drank from her cup.
“No” JoJo said slowly, and Snow smiled.
“She dare not crush on him” Abigail said.
“Butter, have you ever had a girlfriend?” JoJo asked.
“No, but I had my first k-s last night” he replied, and Draco drank the whole beer in his cup immediately.
JoJo swallowed hærd as she stared at Butter.
‘That was his first k-s?’ she thought shockingly.
“Luke, why did you keep it from the public that you’re a twin?” Butter asked.
“I…. I just wanted to” Luke replied slowly.
“Walton are you currently in love with anyone?” Luke asked.
“Yeah, a crazy love though, I think I have to go for baptism” Walton replied, and everyone laughed.
“Luna, why do you love shouting your name around?” Walton asked.
“I shout my name around because….my name is Luna!!!” She s¢ræmed, and everyone laughed loudly.
“Lunatic” Luke chuckled, wanting to drink beer, but Walton stopped her
“No, remember what happened the last time you drank, You’re not tolerant so just eat BBQ only” he said.
“Yes boss” Luke replied, and Walton smiled as he held her soft hand under the table.
“Next question is for Draco” Winter said.
“Draco, who’s the girl you’d love to k-s here… tonight?” Luna asked knowingly, and Snow’s eyes w¡dened, she held the beer cup with her tighter.
Silence fell into the restaurant as everyone started staring at Draco.
JoJo blinked slowly as she stared at him, and surprisingly, her heart was beating fast, so fast that she held her chest.
Her eyes met with Draco’s, then Draco dropped the bomb.
“JoJo Collins” he said, and the beer cup with Snow fell immediately, shattering to bits .
