#Nicholas’ POV

Tell me Mandy’s not missing because I can’t take it at all. Maybe her sister’s just exaggerating, maybe she’ll come home soon.
But why isn’t she answering her calls? Now it’s even switched off.
“You need to calm down Nick, I’m sure this is all a misunderstanding and it’s nothing to really worry about” Christina said but I didn’t reply, am I even listening.
The car came to a halt at her house, Ximena rushed to me.
“Where is she?” I asked impatiently while coming down.
I was gonna ask you that, I don’t know what is going on with my sister. She’s never been like this, she never jokes with her phone and she hærdly misses a call. Something’s not right, I mean she never goes somewhere without informing anyone” she said making more worried.
“We have to call the cops then, we can’t just sit back and do nothing. What if she was abducted?” Christina said.
“You’re right, go tell the police and have them search every nook and cranny of this city” I said, Christina nodded and left with the car.
“Let’s go get a cab to go search for her” I told Ximena.
“How about we use my car?”
I shrugged, it’s not like we have a choice now.
I hope you’re okay wherever you are Mandy because I can’t handle you being not.
She drove in front of me, it’s not cozy but it’s still manageable in this situation. I entered and shut the door, she drove off.
“Nice car” I said to ease the tension.
“Good way of saying my car needs a change, I get it” she replied.
“No that’s not what I meant but you know… Fine you got me, you always do”
She smiled, I smiled too. Makes me remember the old times, we could have been more happy but we were never meant to be.
Now that I’ve found the one, I can’t just lose her. I won’t lose anyone I love, not again.
I looked at her, she’s more focused on the road. I think she has a lot on her mind, so do I.
“So where are we going?” I asked cos I really don’t know exactly how to find her and where she’s taking us.
“Lydia’s” she replied.
“Who’s Lydia?”
She stopped in front of a big duplex, “Lydia’s her high school friend and a colleague at work so her place should be a good start”
“Okay” we got down and walked towards the house.
She pressed the doorbell, a middle aged woman with strawberry blonde hair and brown eyes came out.
“Ximena! What a surprise!” Her eyes w¡dened when she saw me, oh dear God tell me this is not happening.
“Your highness—”
“Hello Mrs Johnson, could you please call Lydia for us?” Ximena cut her off.
“Of course dear, Lydia! Come down you have guest!”
A young totally blonde girl came down, she had glasses on but still very beautiful.
“Thanks Mom, I’ll take it from here” her mother left, she flinched when she saw me.
“Ximena, isn’t that… Isn’t that—”
I get it, her voice is shaky because she’s scared of me.
“Look I don’t bite okay? We just need to know if you have seen Mandy”
She gulped, “No I haven’t”
“Thanks then” we turned to leave.
“Wait!” We turned to see Lydia’s Mother, “sorry I was eavesdropping on your conversation but I saw Mandy today”
We moved close to her, “What did you say?” I asked.
“We met at the grocery store and we said hi and went our separate ways but I saw her leaving with two unknown men a while later”
“What men? How were they dressed?” Ximena asked curiously.
“They wore black with sunglasses, I traced them out and saw them leave in a black car that reads ‘D-BITCH’ on the plates”
My fists clenched on hearing that, Davina is behind this isn’t she? I walked back to the car angrily and got to the driver’s seat.
“Bye Mrs Johnson, bye Lydia!” Ximena waved and entered the car.
I started the car and drove off, “whoa… where the hell are we going to and why are you so angry?” She asked, I didn’t reply.
“Really Nick? If you’re not going to tell me where we’re going then stop the car” she said.
No reply.
“Stop the car! Stop the damn car!” She shouted making me pullover.
“What is wrong with you?! Is there something I should know that I don’t know?!” She asked again.
“Fine… Davina’s got your sister”
“What?! What Davina?”
“My ex-girlfriend and also childhood friend” her eyes w¡dened, she opened her mouth wide still trying to digest it.
“Wait what?! That slimy bitch kidnapped my sister?! How dare she and why?!” She yelled furiously.
“Obviously I love Mandy and I left her for your sister so—”
“She sees her as an obstacle”
“Well yes”
“I’m gonna kill her” I know what you can do Ximena, she’s really gonna hurt Davina badly if she gets her hands on her.
You’re getting what you deserve Davina.

#Mandy’s POV

It’s been hours since these guys took me at the grocery store, they covered my eyes and mouth and I can’t do anything.
Two hefty men came with guns and asked me to follow them to meet their boss or get killed.
I’m a vulnerable person and I really didn’t have a choice, Ximena must be very worried that she’d alarm everyone.
I pray she doesn’t tell Dad because of his blood pressure, I just don’t want my Dad to get sick and worried.
I hear footsteps coming towards me, did I forget to mention that am tied up too.
The person seems to be a woman, because I can hear heels clicking.
What does she want from me and who is she?
“Remove the blindfold and mouth tape” she ordered, why does that voice sound so familiar?
After they removed it, I cleared my eyes to see… Davina laughing?
I should have known all along, there’s no other evil person I know of that could possibly do this.
“I should have known it’s you all along” I said acting brave, don’t forget I’m so good at hiding my fears.
She laughed evil moving around me, “You should have known that I don’t let sinners go just like that”
Sinners? What is she talking about?
“Coming from the biggest saint in the world, very funny” I said with sarcasm.
“I’m not joking with you! I will make sure I torture you so much you’re gonna beg me to kill you which I gladly will” she yanked seriously.
“Nicholas is going to find me before you do” I said although I’m not sure.
“We’ll see about that, guys do your job” she told the men who are now three in number.
They smirked evily and moved towards me, one of them brought a cane. Before I could say anything, they started beating me up.
“No stop! Stop please stop!” I begged but there was no mercy, she only laughed.
The beating was becoming too much, I am losing my strength and my body is bleeding badly.
Is there no one coming to look for me? Am I really gonna die here?
I’m dying, I’m… I can’t see anything…. I’m… It became dark.

#Ximena’s POV

This is all my fault, I should have never sent her to the grocery store. Now my only sister is missing and I don’t even know what to do.
“Stop the tears Xixi, I can’t bear to see you like this please” Nicholas begged consoling me, I know he’s hurting more deep in,side.
“What are we going to do? What if they kill her?”
“That’s not going to happen cos I won’t allow it, I tracked Davina’s phone and I know where she’s keeping Mandy” he said and I wiped my tears.
“How did you do that?” I asked.
“Apparently she thinks no one saw her kidnap Mandy so she still has her phone on. And I’m not one of those stupid guys who would call her immediately and make things worse” he explained.
“What now?”
“There are a lot of guards there so I have a good plan to break in there but first we’re waiting for someone else”
“Who?”
“Me” a familiar voice said, I looked back to see Fred Meyers. He’s Nicholas’friend and also an ex of mine which I broke up with and I don’t want to get into details right now.
“Long time no see flower” he said with a smirk, I tucked a hair behind my ear in comfortably.
He should stop calling me flower, I’m not his girlfriend anymore.
“You’re welcome friend” Nicholas said sarcastically.
I sat at the back of the car while they sat at the front, “so what’s the plan”
“We’re breaking in” Nick said, I gave him a look that says ‘really? Just the three of us unarmed’
“Great plan”
“Fred is good at breaking in places, no one will even know we’re there till we find Mandy” he added.
“Shouldn’t we inform the police?” I asked. Because this plan of breaking in doesn’t seem to work for me.
“I have that all under control” he replied and started the car.
Hold on little sister, we’re coming for you.

#Mandy’s POV CONTINUES

I felt a splash of cold water on my body, I opened my eyes and more came.
“Please… please stop, the water is cold please” I begged faintly, I don’t have any more strength to hold this torture.
I am so cold, I’m shivering but they didn’t stop. They brought a very cold blanket to cover me, I don’t think I will survive this cold.
Nicholas where are you? Please come, please come save me.
Dad… I miss you already so much, Ximena where are you? Please take care of Dad.
I coughed and sneezed, I’m gonna get a fever. I heard loud laughter and fun, they are making fun of me.
I’m going to die if no one comes to save me so on, darkness came again.
