Chapter 40💪..
Ranob continued his energy draining journey and arrived to the lions terriority but surprisingly all seemed deserted and all his hope was gone. For it felt like no one existed but him and this hunger he had in him made him weak, he sat among the bush ready to lay for his death to come and suddenly his hand touched something, it was a portion given to them by the beast..
It was a portion they used to eat when they well all together.
“How did this get here”, Ranob asked with a smile as he grabbed the portion and put a drop of the portion once it touched the ground it changed into a bountiful supply of chicken soup.
He immediately dropped his spear and began devouring the soup..
“This could have fallen from the sky when we were rushing back to the rebel village from the dark city on air”, Ranob said covering the protion and putting it into his pockets. He stood up with the chicken soup and kept eating and he could notice some other portions on the floor about 5-7 of them laying on the floor.
He couldn’t contain his joy, as he took all the portions he could find and headed back to the cave eating..
River bank✋✋..
“What kind of attack should we lay down to end the dark king”, King james asked the general
“It would be hærd doing that but can be done”, The general said.”Any attack for now will be foiled the dark king won’t attack us till we come out to him, such a sneaky bastard”..
“So what are your suggestion”, King james asked
“I suggest we wait for the right moment, gather information and strike when a flaw is in” The general said “But for now we should focus on getting more food supplies to keep everyone alive till the next battle”
“That is correct, the river has fishes and luckily it bank is filled with edible fruits of various kinds from the trees”, King james said
“We might need meat and several other foodstuffs”, The general said
“Those can be gotten easily from the dark city by disguising but there is something that bothers me” King james said
“What my king?”, The general asked
“The other kingdoms are in alliance with the Dark king and he has become an emperor how do we defeat him easily, it is like going against all kingdoms”, King James said
“That is true and to destroy the dark king army alone is hærd not to talk of the entire kingdoms armies”, The general said
“I don’t think convincing them to join will work, untill a reasonable solution to destroying the dark king is provided”, He said
“Let’s wait and see what the future holds”, King james said moving out of the tent to meet up with his daughter..
“This are hærd times and we can only survive by being hærd” The general said sitting down to begin thinking..
ICE WASTELAND🚶🚶
They say you just have to keep trying but in this the more you try the h-rder it gets. Josh woke up and wasn’t surprised he didn’t burn at all. He sighed and had a look of unhappiness on his face, things weren’t going well as he thought it would be. What could that be?
“Am i missing a puzzle or what”, Josh said calmly while seating on the floor.
“You failed the test”, Wong said arriving with a bowl of soup.
Josh didn’t reply he was feeling the pain of being defeated over and over again..
“Have a bowl of soup”, Wong said
“I don’t want that”, josh said as he stood up from the floor.
“You lost again, you can try the test again sometime” Master Wong said Josh wasn’t himself, he had lost again and it felt bad, it felt depressing and that was self defeat…
He looked at Master Wong and removed his clothes…
“Am not worthy of this clothes”, Josh said dropping them “Am not worthy of this crystal”,He said removing it from his neck, he dropped them on the table..
And headed to the ice cave, where he had taken the first step, he walked into the cold narrow path fighting against the harsh wind, he started running pushing forward but the wind wouldn’t allow him to take another step forward as it increased it power pushing josh back, instinctively he grabbed the two sides if the cave and held it while his hands while the the wind pushed h-rder.
“Am stronger than this”, Josh said as he kept hanging on, suddenly the cave where he held unto got broken and the wind sent him crashing into several walls of ice, the pain was unbearable as josh fell to his knees and collapsed out of fatigue..
FEW MINUTES LATER..
Josh stood up slowly still in the ice cave, he crawled slowly and sat up putting his back against a cold wall.. He was all naked, he sat down and closed his eyes beginning his meditation while the harsh cold wind increased power of coldness..
Josh body started freezing up slowly starting with his legs and going up slowly, he didn’t give a care for he was far gone into the meditating realm. He decided to stay there for the next 4 days. Like he would survive a single day. He was there for minutes and his body was freezing up and he wanted to stay a total 4 day period, he would be dead by then but you need to give things a try…
Wong however wasn’t worried, josh failed his test again, the first two battles, he had in the second test was against the enemies, it was all about survival and strength but the last stage of the second test was a battle within himself which he failed twice..
It was of no surprise to wong that josh failed, he failed cause he was thinking of beating the time, he failed because he was thinking of how to cross the thread..
You shouldn’t think, just do it!!
Wong sat down and was done eating he decided to check on Josh, just to see a frozen stature with folded legs and hands like he was meditating…
“It would take one intense energy to break out of that ice with your mind” Wong said as he sat down “I won’t help this time” He said

Time, Time , Time. Still moving but no one stopping it, can you?. A slow breath , a fast blink, time still passes..
No plans for ahead then why did you get a aim or was it just a dream never to be true.
Problems isn’t the condition we find ourselves in, we ourselves are our own problems..
Josh had gone to the harshest of the waste land, outta depression, loss of hope, frustration, he might have mastered the mind control but is it habitual.
You may never know?. Josh wasn’t in a trance or another realm, he was just in his mind, spending lots of time in the cave has lead him to being a frozen naked stature. Wong wasn’t going to help him, his duty is to watch and not help when problems comes…
Getting out of the frozen bondage will require high power from your mind will and energy core?.
Ranheardd the food portion in his possession BUT he kept wondering what had happened to the lions and the friendly beast, which they had met, were they on migration? or just disappeared, he got to the cave and started a fire with stones. He lay down in the cave, wondering what step to take in defeating the dark king since he was now all alone..
This was the safest place at this period of time, for no one ever considered taking this specific path to the dark city cause of the dangers so he had this place all to him self..
“I will wait for the right time”, He said closing his eyes “This battle isn’t over now or then”
Everyone seemed to be patient waiting for that specific time to attack but the dark emperor was no fool, he wasn’t planning on relaxing with the riches he had all over, he had ten different kingdoms under him, yet he wanted no riches but wanted power to do all things and that power would be gotten only from the orb..
The dark emperor was to rule not on wealth but on power, command, authority he loved seeing fear on the face of people, that made him feel good only..
Sagoe soldiers did keep fit everyday, preparing for the last battle of evil vs good, light vs darkness, everyone was busy at the moment but not josh..
For the past 4-7 days josh has remained still in this frozen ice and that was too long a time to be frozen.
“I hope he his ok”, Wong said outta fear for the first time in years
Then on the 8th day changes was seen, a bright light shone from within the stature, it was so bright that the whole cave got a glimpse of it, Wong who was actually surprised had to watch from a safe distance due to the brightness..
The stature began to vibrate so fast as the pieces of ice were breaking little by little.
“Such power!”, Wong said with bewilderment, he was totally stunned to the extent of letting his mouth agape.
Truly, he had never seen any intense power like this, surely this was his first, the ice covering josh suddenly flew to different parts violently like an explosive force occured. For the first time in 8 days, josh eyes were opened and a spark of green flashed in his eyes as he blinked..
Emitting from his body was the ice vapour which kept coming consistently, he stood up weakly and couldn’t stand well on his feet.
“How many days did i spend in this position?”, Josh asked as he walked slowly really tired and dizzy.
“8 days boy”, Master wong said
“8 days that long”, Josh said surprised at how long he stayed, as he approached Master wong.
“Yes, How do you feel”, He asked touching him.
“Very weak and tired and”, Josh said but was cut short by Master wong saying the word “Hungry”.
Josh smiled and he walked out of the cave and sat down, he was given assorted meals to take from, devouring everything bit by bit till there was no crumble left that was what Master Wong expected and that was what happened..
“I will take the test tomorrow”, Josh said after drinking his water
“Anytime, any day’, Master wong said
Josh fell asleep later, it was no ordinary sleep, his body was generating great amount of heat as green sparks passed through his veins and finger tips. After hours of sleeping, he stood up and worked out his muscles, doing his push ups and several other body exercise. He took his bath and got ready for the day test, he wore his cloth and crystal and bounced a little before approaching the door for the test to begin..
“Good luck”, Master wong said as he waited at the small door for the third time.
Josh walked into the cave, cracking his fist as he got ready for a big fight and when i say big i really mean it.
Josh approached the same place he fought with the bulls, he waited for a sign and heard a “MOO” sound from above. The bulls had wings and weren’t 10 in numbers but were more than 50 of them. And each of them had a spear like tail. Looks like the test increased the attackers based on their strengths and this was the new test. Josh stood still as he watched the flying bulls land to the ground and got ready to attack.
“Am not going to waste my time with you guys”, Josh said charging towards the bulls. Obviously he couldn’t say he wanna go up a rock or jump over them, the bulls were much stronger this time. Josh suddenly stopped in front of them and stood still like he had no intentions of fighting.
“This is the test of bulls”, He said touching one of the bulls head
“They are not enemies, they are just the product of my fear, all stuffed up in my mind giving me problems”, Josh said with a smirk. The bulls disappeared no single one of them remained and he didn’t have to attack anyone.
He walked calmly to the next step and saw a thousand soldiers with bows and arrows and several minotaurs.. He just kept walking and battle no one for he had felt inner peace..
“Your illusions in life hurt you when you fear them or have a doubt of them defeating you”, Josh said as he passed the armies without touching them and they all disappeared one by one..
“This are Real illusions”, He said with a smile as he approached the last part of the test.
The molten magma underneath the thread was completely red hot and the thread was almost invincible.
Josh laughed out loud, he was able to see from different perspectives..
“This is no thread to me but a very large bridge and this is no molten magma but a very cold river”, Josh said as he walked on the thread.
An earthquake began shaking everywhere violently but josh stood still and smiled.
“The wind is really refreshing”, He said referring to the earthquake
He walked to the other side and completed the test..
“What you think is what you see, what you think is what you do, i think this test was easy”, He said walking away to the small door.
“Congrats you start your training today but not with me by yourself”, Wong said.
“Ok Master”, Josh said as he went and sat down.
He prepared himself for the training he would take..
“What about the upper wasteland?”, Josh asked
“Do you want to see it?”, Wong replied and got a nod from josh.
With a snap of the fingers they both appeared in the ice wasteland above.
“This does not look like a wasteland”, Josh said admiring then beauty.
“It only got it name wasteland because only two of us exist as resonable people in this entire land”, Wong said
“What about the rest”, Josh said a s he took a step.
“The rest are the beast that are guarded from going to the outside world”, Wong said snapping his fingers and bringing them back to the cave.
“You need to get ready for your training”, Wong said “My advice to you is that you train in physical strength, spiritual strength and Mentally”..
“I will do just that”, Josh said “But where”
“Follow me”, Wong said taking his movement forward and moving to a wall.
“What do we do here?”, Josh asked
“Punch the wall”, Wong asked Josh to.
He did this and an empty space could he seen through the hole, he had made. The door opened up and a large space was seen clearly.
“You could use here to train or anywhere else”, Wong said moving into the room.
“This is really cool”, Josh said as he walked around.
“Remember your mission is to defeat the beast and go back to where you came from”, Master Wong said
“And that is what i will train to accomplish”, Josh said as he sat down on the floor.
Wong left the room and went back to his normal activities and josh has just signed off a death deal with the beasts of destruction.
