“Relax Dolly, i just want the key to the diamond… “White said calmly to Dolly who just sat on her bed staring.

White and I were in Dolly’s room.

“Mom made me swear never to let the diamond out… At all cost! “She retorted with her arms folded.

“Your dad is trying to save all of us… Even you. That man will kill us if we don’t give it to him… We’ll just lure him to the diamond and then we’ll take him down. “I tried explaining to her.

She stared at me for a while before reaching for the medallion hanging on her neck. She opened it and brought out a key. White took it from her.

White walked past me leaving the room while I went after him.

“What now White ? “I asked curiously.

“I go meet Raphael. I’ll kill him with my bare hands if he tries anything funny. “He replied.

“It’s too dangerous! You can’t go alone White… “I said.

He opened the dark room and went in.
I did what I did before and the diamond pops out. White unlocked it and took the diamond into his hands.

“Tell me White , what are you upto? “I asked.

“Stop worrying. I’ll be back. “He said before leaving.

I racked my brain anxiously. What’s he really up to?
I don’t understand any of this.
He’s acting so casual about all this mess.

Does White have a hand in this?

I promised Dolly we’ll bring the diamond back to her… What if White doesn’t return with it?

No… I have to go after him.

I ran to my room and grabbed my black hoodie before leaving the mansion… I entered a cab following White as he sped up on the road.

“Hey Taxi driver, can’t you go any faster?!!! “I yelled perturbed and worried.

“I don’t want to get my car seized. We driver’s have a speed limit. “He snarled.

I switched with him and sat on the driver’s seat. I increased the speed and drove faster following White closely.

I received a text from Raphael.
It reads: TIME IS RUNNING OUT. AM SURE YOU DON’T WANT YOUR MOTHER DEAD.

I grunted angrily.
That bastard.
He came to the house earlier to threaten me. He said he had my mom hostage and he’d kill her if I don’t bring the diamond to him.

I can’t believe he also sent Scarlet to get the diamond.

I arrived at the bastards mansion and was searched before I was allowed to go in.

“Welcome… White . Do you have my diamond? “Raphael asks with a wine glass in his hand.

“Where is my mother? “I asked.

He chuckled.
“Your mom is at her house right now sleeping soundly. Now give me my diamond. I don’t want to waste my strength. “He strained.

I stood still looking at him.

He sighed.
“I swear your mom is safe and sound. ”

I took out my phone and called my mom’s personal maid. She picked up immediately. I asked of mom and she said she was alright.
I was relieved.
I never knew I loved my mom this much.

I brought out the diamond from the sash I kept it in.

“Wow… Look at how it glitters! “He grinned.

“Drop it on the table and leave. We are done here… And when you get home, tell Scarlet her job is done and she should come to me. I think I need someone like her around. “He said.

I turned to leave.

“Don’t you dare!! “I heard from behind and turned.

Wtff…
Raphael was pointing a gun at me while Skyler was holding a gun pointing it at him.

“Scarlet , what are you doing? You should be killing him not me! “Raphael yelled.

“The plan was never to hurt White. How dare you try to kill him… You killed Dolly’s mom didn’t you?? You wanted the diamond for yourself when it’s not yours! “Scarlet said with anger written all over her face.

“I thought you liked me Scarlet . You always drool over me… “Raphael said.

“I liked you but I love White.. That’s the difference.

“You b*tch! “He yelled and turned the gun at Scarlet .

He tried pulling the trigger but in a blink of an eye, policemen invaded the living room and zapped Raphael with an electrifier.

He covulsed and fell to the floor.

“You’ll pay for this Scarlet . “He strained.

“Raphael, you’re hereby arrested for claiming of fake property and kidnappings… We found three girls at his basement. “One of the police men said.

Dolly and Jayden showed up. They ran to Scarlet and hugged her.
I walked to them.

“I called the cops after we found out you were here. Dolly said.

“You were following me? “Scarlet asked surprised.

I pulled Scarlet close by her w–st and k!$sed her
“My diamond! “Dolly yells and took it from the table.

“Let’s go home. “I said taking Dolly’s hand.
Scarlet held Jayden as we left the building for the cops to do their work.
