King Aiden room

King Aiden POV

“Your majesty the Queen wanna see you, is she allow to come in,side”One of the guards said with a bow.

“Which of the Queen, aren’t you aware that we now have two queen In the palace”I asked In an hoarse voice.

“Queen Dylan my lord”He replied with a bow.

“Let her in”I ordered and he leaves immediately.

Within some minute she walked in like a queen she’s. I stood up from the swivel chair I sat.

“What do you want?”I asked without a warmth welcome.

“My king I said I am sorry, atleast you’ve given me punishment already, don’t punish me more by staying away from me.

Please I sincerely apologise for my stupidity, and how I let my jealousy and insecurity about losing you win over me. I am deeply sorry my lord “She apologized with some remorse in her voice.

“You are forgiven but I don’t take back my word. I am taking the queen supreme from you” I said and sat on the sofa.

“I agree my king. I know I have every right to be anxious over losing the position but can I be sure I won’t lose you. I don’t wanna lose you”She said coming closer.

“You way’s will decide that, the people I think will stand by me are the one going against me, you both are the one given me tough time.

What If she has die in that process?”I uttered and stood on my feet.

“But she’s saved now, thanks to Helen. I think we should compensate her” She uttered and I come back to my senses.

“Helen how did she saved her? I couldn’t but she gave her something and everything healed just like that. How possible, was she so powerful? I should call for her, she must tell me how she could do that”I said and call for the guards.

“My king we should take things slowly. Helen may know how to save her since they are always together every minute for a very long time ago”She opined while I glare her at.

“Can you please let me do my thing as a King?”I asked angrily.

Avalon POV

“Helen please make sure if the king asked you anything in the future about how you save me. Tell him it was a miracle, tell him someone, I mean a guy gave it to you. He shouldn’t know the person is a woman”I addressed.

“My princess, why are you so worried? The Person saidshe’s your guidance and a guidance are meant to help in time if danger.

So why are you bother, even if the king asked I will just tell him it’s your guidance who gave me the bottle.

Lee was also a witness so it’s not a problem”Helen explained.

Seems like she’s not getting it,and I can’t explain things to her. How am I to tell her that’s my mum, I Know she will keep that secret but the king will find out I am seeing someone immediately she mentioned my guidance.

Since I was young he’s only guidance I have. He will suspect and will query me. I just have to tell her to tell a lie, that’s the only way out.

If not things will be ruin immediately the king find out about mother. It won’t be so easy. I took a deep breath.

“My princess hope no problem, you keep mute all of a sudden? “She asked.

“You said Lee is aware?”I asked.

“Yes”She nodded her head. I took my phone to call Lee but it wasn’t connecting. Just then I heard a knock on the door.

“My princess can I go now?”She asked with a bow.

“No, wait lemme see who is at the door”I said and stand up.

I headed towards the door to meet three guards.

What did they want again? Hope the king didn’t order for my house arrest again because I haven’t done anything wrong this time.

“Why are you glaring at me? What do you want?”I asked.

“The king ordered us to come with Helen your maid right this minute”The one who take the lead said.

I knew this is coming. How do I speak with Helen not to say the truth. Oh my goodness! This is bullshit! And it goddamn hærd to convince this people.

“You want Helen, why? What happened?”I asked knowing very well that it was the king ordered they are to follow without any questioning.

Just trying to interrogate them maybe it’s for a different thing.

“We don’t know ma, we are only asked to bring her” One of them reply.

“Okay I get it, Helen come here”I called out and face the guards.

“I Know the king will Never tell you to rough handle her since she didn’t stole, Right? So, we both wil follow you patiently “I said to them.

“Princess what did they want?” Helen asked.

“Helen, the king called for you, lets go “I ordered.

Twinkle room

Authoress POV

Twinkle was sleeping on the in her room bed. King Aiden mum appears in the room..

She walked closer to her and sit by the egde of the bed. She arrange her hair.

“My darling, you are the saviour of this country but you can’t even remember anything not to talk of knowing you own destiny.

I think since you can’t remember your current life thing then I should help you in regaining your other life.

I don’t know how to heal you but I am sure this will help. This might be hærd on you but you can’t leave without fulfilling your destiny”She said making some magic.

Twinkle start to shake without waking up. After few minutes she smiles and make her sleep again.

Throne room

King Aiden was sitting on his throne with Queen Dylan standing at a corner.
Avalon and Helen walked in with the guards.

“Great live you highness, I got your call” Helen said with a bow.

“Yes, I called for you that’s because I wanna ask something and I need you to be sincere with me, if you choose to lie and I find out, you know the consequences right?”The king asked.

“Yes my Lord, I promised to say everything with almost sincerity”Helen replied and take a quick glance at Avalon.

“I felt mum present over here, that should be in Twinkle room. What is she trying to do”Avalon thought feeling unease.

“Who gave you that bottle which contains the drugs you used to save Princess. Don’t lie”The king asked.

“Brother what is this all about? someone saved my life, instead of compensating her, you are here asking questions”Princess Avalon said trying to take all the whole thing on herself.

“Did I asked you questions, leave her to me “King Aiden replied.

“Sir someone gave it to me, but the person was on masks. I didn’t know if it was guy or lady” She replied shuddering.

“It’s a lady, infact women and right now she’s in this palace. Avalon am I right?” King Aiden asked.

Episode Twenty – One

“It’s a lady, infact women and right now she’s in this palace. Avalon am I right?” King Aiden asked.

She pretended not to know what he’s talking about.

“What are you talking about, I don’t understand. I am confused”She replied trying to be innocent.

“Stop playing games, did I look like a fool to you. You are in touch with mum?”He asked and gave her a deadly glare.

“What are you saying? Mum, the last day I saw her was the last time you set your eyes on her”Princess Avalon denied the allegations.

“Lier, what rubbish. Guards go to Queen Twinkle room and bring the person in there. No one can get out of the palace” King Aiden said in an authoritive tone and they guards bow their heads and leave immediately.

He used his power to hold all the power in the palace down.

“King why are you doing this? why are you overreacting “Princess Avalon shouted but king Aiden didn’t give her a glance. Which shows he didn’t give a damn

He adjust himself on the throne. Few minutes later the guards dragged Lee to the livingroom.

“Let go off me, I said let go. What’s my offence, is it a bad thing I am checking through the palace and I mistakingly get into the queen room”He shouted trying to release himself.

“Hey what are you all doing, what’s is your problem leave my boyfriend alone”Princess Avalon shouted, she already let out before she realised that she has just called Lee her boyfriend.

“I mean leave him alone, let him go. Did he looks like a woman to you?”She try to talk back her words.

Lee smile despite still strongly held by the guards.

“What’s this? is this who I asked you to bring here?”King Aiden Thundered.

“Your majesty this is the only person we found in her Majesty room.

She was sleeping and he was glaring at her”The leader of the guards said.

“You all can’t do anything properly, can’t you recognized him.

Let go off him this is not the person I asked you to bring.

I still feel her present in this palace, check through and make sure all the door are shut down and no one get out of the palace.

Any strange thing should be notify “King Aiden said in an authoritative manner, and they all leave with a bow.

Lee adjust his cloth.

“So mean, did I look like a lady to them”He said dusting his shirt.

“What are you doing in the queen room without permission?”King Aiden asked.

“Your majesty, we all heard him said it was a mistake. He’s only checking through the house. It’s been a while that he has been here and the settings of the building as changed.

Why don’t we leave him out of this”Queen Dylan suggested.

“Yes my king, I get into her room by mistake.

The room belong to the eldest queen before, which was your mum, and it has been empty for years, but on seeing light sparkling in the room I have the feeling the room has been rearrange.

So I choosed to take a look, not knowing that her Majesty stay in there, Forgive me”Lee said with a bow.

“It’s okay, but you should always try and make sure you are with someone when you are trying to take a tour in the house. Sorry for how they treated you”King Aiden apologized on behalf of his guards.

“You are welcome brother. Sorry I mean King, but can I still refers you as brother?” He asked.

“Yes why not, you will Always be my brother?

Don’t just tamper with the laws so you won’t get on the list.

You know I hate subject I can’t trust, and I feel like you are on the trial to so such.

Be more carefully with me” King Aiden instructed.

Lee glare at him for something and smile.

“I won’t do such, I will always remain truthful my King. And Please my lord, I have agree to get married to Helen, but can you please allow me to go out with the princess tonight?”Lee asked.

“Your know royalty don’t go out at night, it’s dangerous, enemy might get through us.

And I can’t risks the live of the only surviving daughter of the royal.

You can spend time with her in the palace”King Aiden disapproved.

“Brother please, I will be fine trust me when I say that. I will be okay, you shouldn’t worry about me. Will won’t take much time” Princess Avalon said.

“Only if you are innocent tonight. And even if you are innocent you shouldn’t leave the palace without the guard’s.

“I think mum was smart and must have escaped from the room.

This is her house, she knew everything about this place. She must have escaped”Princess Avalon thought to herself and smirks.

“Why do you keep mute, don’t you have anything to say to this”King Aiden asked.

“It’s your choice king, as long as it’s for our safety I am cool, but I don’t really welcome the dea “Princess Avalon said.

“If you insist you don’t want guards no problem, but make sure you call for me whenever something not pleasant Is about to happen “The king instructed.

“Yes my Lord, we will surely do that”Lee said with a smile.

“Master Lee”Helen called out running after him.

He stopped and frown.

“What do you want? You must be very excited that I will be getting married to you, right? I can’t imagine you will be called my wife”Lee said and spat angrily.

“I don’t wanna get married to you either, you aren’t the man of my dream. Infact you are so mean, I am only tolerating this your indistinct behavior because of the princess, if not I Know my worth.

I don’t need a guy like you”Helen said with an eyeroll.

“Imagine what rubbish, you haven’t even become my wife and you’ve started acting like a Queen, and again how can I be your type of man when you are just a low life person, the poor eat and dine with the poor.

I know a guards most be your type of man”Lee said adjusting his shirt.

“Lee that was too much, why on earth will you say such things to her?

Why have you become so mean?”Princess Avalon asked from behind.

They both turned to look at the Princess.

Lee couldn’t hold himself as he keeps glaring at the Princess intensively.

She walked closer to them

“You caused that, why would you play with my emotions? Because right now I don’t feel like I have any emotions left in me”He said and leave angrily.

Helen who already got a teary eyes let the tears stream down her cheek.

Princess Avalon moved closer.

“I am sorry, I never knew Lee has changed so much.

Don’t worry you both will get along. I know he’s a nice guy and will turn up.

I am the reason for all of this. I am so sorry, please forgive me, you shouldn’t worry everything will be okay”Princess Avalon said cleaning her tears.

“I am very sorry my princess, I don’t think I can be happy with him. He had really changed, he is now a chameleon.

We need to be very careful with him. He is not the Lee you know, he’s not your Lee again.

A devil now reside in,side of him. Please my princess why don’t you leave him to leave his life the way he ever wanted to.

I know you feel sad about hurting his feelings, but you aren’t the first person to do that neither will you be the last person.

It’s a normal thing that happens in a relationsh¡p, and I think you have some good reasons for that”Helen said and hugged her tightly.

“I guessed you are right, is high time I should let him go,I realised this after seeing what happened here, he was so mean and never treated you with respect, I am so sorry for that. I made him like that, I makes almost everybody uncomfortable. I am a useless fool”She cried.

“No my princess,you are a good person. I trust you and will forever do”Helen hugged and cuddle her.

Guest room

Lee was in the room scattering everywhere.

“No Avalon, why are you doing this to me? Why do you makes me fall deeply in love and then neglected me.

Why would you jilt me for royalty. Why do you choose the throne instead of me.

Do you really think Ii can live without you, I have never planned a life for myself without picturing you in it. I am supposed to be madvand should hate you forever after you cancel our marriage, the married I thought will be a good memorable one, the dream was shattered, I can’t get myself to hate you.

You make me a worthless person who drink around till my parent think of getting me married to another lady so that we can travel both abroad.

I don’t wanna love anyone again except from you. I love you Avalon and I will make you mine even with he last drop of blood in Me. I know you still love me, you are forever mine” Lee cried and settled on the bed.

He brought out Princess Avalon small picture he kept in his wallet and k!$sed the photo.

After crying out his heart, he chooses to take a walk to the garden.

He stroll lazily to the garden looking around for beautiful flowers.

He saw a flowers and admire it. He scent the flowers and imagine Princess Avalon Infront of him.

“Lee don’t be mad at me, I am very sorry, I was so foolish. You are the only person I love and want to love forever.

Please will you embrace me”She said with tears in her eyes.

A smile erupted his l-ips.

“Yes my Princess, I so much love you and will never stop Loving you”He said and run to embrace her.

“Leave me alone, who are you?”The gardener woman shouted.

He come back to his senses. He released her at once.

“Sorry, it was a mistake, I thought you are Avalon”He said apologitic.

“it’s okay but you should stop daydreaming, how can you imagine me to be the princess? I am just a gardener.

Young Master, I think you need some rest”The woman adviced.

“Did you know me?”He asked.

She smiled.

“Who wouldn’t know you, I have served here for years even before our baby, you always come here to get flowers for the Princess, and she also did the same.

Both of you can’t do without each other. It was so cool seeing how grown and smart you both have become”,She said.

“Oh thank you, I forget. I stopped coming here to get flowers after we both traveled out of the country for our schooling”Lee said smiling.

“Oh that, I was wondering why you stopped coming, but I am very sorry you won’t be getting married to the princess “She said with a bow.

“It’s okay, I just realized love is sometimes a punishment. Love hurt alot, I never want to fall in love again”He quivered his l-ips feeling regretful.

“No young Master, you shouldn’t give up on you love easily.

They might be a reason behind this.

Come to think of it, if Princess never love you, she wouldn’t have asked you to marry someone very close to her.

And she wouldn’t be coming here every morning to collect the flowers you like most and gave me some money to distribute it as charity to the needful.

She gave me money everyday to give to the poors with the flowers she always asked me to make for her.

Then in,side she always wrote something in,side paper and when I read it. It was boldly written that. PRAY TO GOD THAT LEE SHOULD FORGIVE ME FOR HURTING HIM. I am sure there’s a reason behind that”The woman explained.

“Mother,I have gotten the flower princess asked for” Xee shouted running towards her mother.

“Really, that’s smart of you. Give it to me, she will come for it tomorrow morning”The woman said with a smile.

“You are really smart boy, but can I have the flowers. I will reward you greatly.

You can get another one for the Princess” Lee said and bend to his level.

“Don’t worry, the princess always take care of us. I won’t sell this out, she promised to send me our of the country to study and I promised to reward her.

Then she asked for a flowers, rose flower, she said is for someone special.

So I am Sorry, I can’t give it out “Xee refused.

“Smart boy, but please”Lee pleaded with a pout. Xee smile.

“I will give it because I am Xee, and I am smart. I will find another one for the princess”He said smiling.

He stretched out the flowers and also his second hand. Lee wanted to take the flowers but she shaked his head negatively signaling him to put money in his hand..

Lee smile and played with his hair. He brought out some money from is wallet and put it in Xee hand.

He immediately gave him the flowers and give all the money to his mother.

“Take good care of yourself and enjoy, I have to get back to work. Never give up on your love. You might not be chance again” She said before leaving.

“Princess, I Know you love me alot but why are you doing this to us. Why are you punishing us like this.

I am cold to Helen because I don’t want to stand a chance of falling for her.

Don’t I have the chance to know what the problem Is? Why is everything so uncleared to Me?”Lee thought while strolling back to the palace with the flower in his hand.

He saw something and picked it up. He was so shocked at what he saw.
