Richmond made sure the rain never fell on her again, he made her stay in his arms and covered her well with the umbrella though he had no intention to hug her but when he saw her face, he just couldn’t control it

It’s the least of what he could do so he just did it

“Richmond” Jewel said again

“I’m sorry… Just stay still” he replied slowly

She obliged and stayed like he requested for over two minutes till he broke the hug

“Richmond how did you….”

“I’ve been following you around since you left school” Richmond interrupted

” Oh…. ” She replied

” You cried a lot and I felt like leaving you to cry it all out and that’s why I couldn’t come closer then” he said

” Richmond…

“I’m sorry that had to happen” he said

“You… Believe me? ” She said

” You don’t look like the type that’ll tell lies, you might be crazy but it has limits trust me” he replied

” I’m glad” she said

” So don’t cry anymore, and why will you stay out here in the cold” he said

” Can you help me talk to Kingsley?” She asked suddenly

“Huh? ‘ he said

” Please I beg you, I dunno why but I won’t be able to take it if he continues to not believe me” she replied

” I’ll try my best” he replied

” Really? ” She smiled

” Tell me what really happened” Richmond replied

They walked to a shed since the rain is still pouring, they sat on the bench and Jewel heaved

“I truly recorded that video in the hospital the other time, yes I won’t deny that but Just four days ago, the video got wiped with my former phone though I went to the media trash and recovered it but three days ago, it got wiped again and I couldn’t even find it in the media trash, I concluded it’s my phone that’s having problem cos it cracked on the screen already”

“I went out that night to buy another phone and that was when thieves attacked me and you guys came to save me, I even lost my former phone there, thanks to Kingsley who found my new phone…. Then this morning, I woke up to find my WhatsApp account is not responding, Pearl said it has been hacked and did a good job of hacking it back, only for me to get to school and see that the video has been posted in our class group with my account” she explained

” Wait…. Pearl is an hacker?” Richmond asked

” A badass hacker, she can hack anything within minutes” Jewel said

Richmond went mute for minutes, getting suspicious

“Will you really help me talk with Kingsley? ” She asked

” Sure… Of course” Richmond replied and he saw her smiling widely

By now the rain is stopping gradually

“Jewel!” Joey’s voice called

They both looked ahead and saw Joey coming in the rain, all drenched

“Dad!” Jewel almost scre-med, standing up and rushing to him

“My daughter” he said, holding her face

“Dad you’re drenched, why did you enter the rain” she said

“Your sisters told me what happened, I’d have relaxed if you hadn’t cried but I was told you cried and I’m aware of how rare it is for you to cry unless you’re deeply hurt, I had to rush out to find you and luckily I found you here” Joey said

” Dad… ” Jewel said and hugged him tightly

“I love you daughter” Joey said

” Love you more dad” she replied

“Good evening sir” Richmond greeted politely, bowing slightly

“The Kings” Jewel said

“Yes!, The Kings!, Are you friends with my daughter?” He asked curiously

” Yes dad, he’s my friend” Jewel replied

“Oh.. great!, I’m so happy” he said

Richmond smiled at his cuteness but…. Didn’t Veera say they’re daughters of an ambassador from China? Richmond thought, looking at Joey

He’s surely a Korean…. So Veera… Lied?

“Thanks for staying with my daughter, I hope we meet again” Joey said

“Same here sir” Richmond replied and Joey hugged him

“Hugging one of the Kings is a great privilege, can i take a selfie with you?, It’s dark but I’ll use flashlight” Joey said

” Sure” Richmond smiled and Joey slipped his arm on Richmond’s neck like friends and snapped a selfie with him

“Done, hope to see you again, bye handsome” he said

Richmond bowed respectfully and Jewel held his hands, he immediately got the usual feels, her hold is dangerous, his body feels ignited

“Talk to Kingsley… please” she said

“Sure, make sure you sleep soundly tonight ok?” He smiled

“Sure, you too, and thanks for staying with me, thanks for believing me” she replied and smiled before leaving with Joey

Richmond looked at his hand and smiled then dip it in his pocket

“Pearl is an hacker?” He thought

The Hales**

Joey came into the house with Jewel and Love spranged up and rushed to her

“Where have you been?, You won’t pick your calls too, Veera has almost wounded me with calls and we all have been very worried” she said, breaking the hug

” I’m so sorry, I was just….sad and hurt that no one believed me” she replied

” Who told you no one believes you, we believe you” Pearl replied

“Thanks sis”. Jewel replied

” Don’t ever do that again, I almost cried” Beverly said, pouting like a baby

Jewel hugged her. ” I’m sorry for getting you worried” she said

Rosie hit her arm hærd .”Mum!’ she remarked

” You brat, I was as worried as hell, thankfully Joey is serious tonight, so you’d have slept out if he hadn’t come for you” Rosie said

” I’m so sorry mum” she replied

” Come here, you’ll be exonerated if you’re truly innocent” Rosie said and hugged her

” Thanks for bringing her back dad, I wish you’ll always be like this” Love said, hugging Joey

Joey smiled and Beverly hugged him too

“You guys should always stay with each other, support each other and never leave each other ok?, Unity is the best, never hate for any reason” Joey said

” He’s saying something sensible again tonight” Jewel said and went to him

He stayed behind him and hugged his shoulders

“I love you dad” she said

“I love you all, come here Pearl” Joey said and Pearl went to him too, they had a family hug and Rosie smiled

“I just hope… you’ll continue behaving like this forever, I love this side of you* she thought

Next morning, the Browns**

“Why is your eyes red?” Veera suddenly said when she saw Kingsley’s eyes, he’s just coming down for breakfast

“I didn’t sleep a wink last night” he replied simply

” Really?” Why?” She replied

Kingsley sat beside her in the dinning room and drank from his already served cup of coffee

“I dunno, I kept thinking of various ways to believe her” he replied

“Her?, You mean Jewel?” She replied

” Yes, I… wasn’t able to sleep and I..kind of, feel guilty for yelling at her though I dunno why, it looked like she was about to cry yesterday” he replied

” She cried” Veera said

” Huh?” Kingsley replied

*Yes she did, Love told me when I called her last night, she said Pearl said she cried, it seems she really knows nothing” Veera replied

Kingsley dropped his cup of coffee and his phone rang immediately, it’s Richmond

“Watssup?’ he picked

” Come to school quick, I think i have a guess about who the culprit is” Richmond said

Kingsley hung up and rushed out of the house

“Wait for me let’s go together!” Veera shouted, rushing after him

Kingsley entered the lodge and met Richmond there already, Jasmine entered behind him immediately he came in

“What were you saying?” Kingsley asked

“Did you make a move with Pearl once before?” Richmond asked

” Why did you ask?” Kingsley replied

” Just answer the darn question” Richmond replied

” Yes I did, in the restroom….I k-ssed her and tried to f*ck her just to get back at Jewel when I still hate her back then, but she pushed me away and told me to stay away from her, but lately she became clingy, she hugged me the other time at the party and told me she can’t bear to see me hurt, then yesterday after I angrily talked to Jewel, she asked me how I felt about the video” Kingsley replied

” I knew it!, they’re sisters this is too too cruel of her” Richmond said

” And what the hell are you talking about” Jasmine asked

“Jewel confirmed it last night that Pearl is a professional hacker” Richmond replied

” You met her last night?” Jasmine asked

” Well yes, she cried a lot and obviously she’s hurt, she even asked me to talk to you on her behalf” Richmond replied sincerely, throwing a bubble gum into his mouth

” What!’ Kingsley said.

“It’s Pearl obviously, but poor Jewel loves her so much and her mind is not even thinking it could be her” Richmond replied, chewing slowly on the gum

” That’s too unbelievable, how could she do that to her sister” Jasmine said

Kingsley stormed out of the lodge

Junior class**

“Veera” Ryder said immediately she entered the class

Veera smiled and he came to hug her

“Hey should I punch you?” She said, smiling though

“I missed you so much I swear, I’d have come to your place but I know Kingsley will never let me in” he said, breaking the hug

” How have you been?, Missed me?” She said

” Of course I did, but now you’re here so I’m happy” he replied

” V” Love said from her seat

Veera left Ryder and rushed to hug Love

“My Love” she gushed

“My V, glad to have you back, pretend not to see any damn Ronny” Love replied

” Sure” Veera replied and went to Pearl, she made to hug her but Pearl objected

“I’m having body ache” she said

“Oh, sorry dear, Jewel isn’t in school?” Veera said

” Obviously” Pearl replied

Veera sat beside love and her eyes met Ryder’s, staring at her…she smiled and he returned it

“Let’s eat lunch together” Ryder mouthed

She’s about to reply when Ronny came in and all the self defense wall she built around herself collapsed

Her heart started racing again as she stared at him, walking stylishly to his seat, she had decided to ignore him and thought that’ll make her ok but now she knows she’s wrong

.”I can’t avoid him, I still love him, he still makes my heart race” she thought and continued staring till he looked at her and their eyes met, he never looked away, instead he stared too

Her heart almost exploded with irregular beats as they stared at each other

He later look away and Veera almost cried

“Morning everyone!!” A girl said loudly, entering the class

She’s.. beautiful!

“This is the junior class right?” She asked

“Sure” Love replied and Ronny spranged up

“What the f*ck are you doing here” he said straight

“Twin brother, you should be happy I transferred here, by the way class, I’m Romina, Ronny’s twin sister, I transferred here from Golden High” she said, smiling gorgeously

” You’re so cute!, Definitely different from your brother cos I know you’ll be full of sense” Love said

” So everyone knows he’s senseless already?, What a shame, but he’s really really senseless so it’s ok” Romina said and went to Love while everyone kept staring at her

Ronny suddenly grabbed her hand

“Get out of this school…now!” He said

“Look at him commanding, you should have put that much strength in commanding your senses to come back… FYI, mum and dad are aware of this and the caretaker had already enrolled me, anything else to say?” Romina said

“Romina why must you transfer here, of all schools why must it be here”Ronny said

” I came cos I love you!, I love you Ronny, should I climb your back?” She winked, dropping her bag on the table

” You don’t dare, your craziness should be limited to the house, not here” Ronny replied

Romina smiled and held his hand. ” If you want that, learn how to behave well” she said

Ronny removed his hand from her and spared Veera a glance before leaving the class

“Hi Ryder!” Romina waved

“Crazy… welcome to B-KAY high” Ryder replied

Romina scanned the class and her eyes fell on Veera, she extended her hand and Veera looked at her

“Excuse me?” Veera said

“Its my arm of friendsh¡p, take it please” Romina said

Veera still kept staring and Romina had to bend over to her and whisper into her ear

“I saw the video of what my brother did to you, let’s be friends and make him regret it together” she whispered

Veera smiled and took the hand slowly

” Veera Brown?, I’m Romina Bennett, nice meeting you” Romina said

*Same here” she replied

“Love Hales” Love said

” Nice meeting you” Romina said

“Pearl” Pearl said curtly

Romina smiled and extended her hand which Pearl took reluctantly, she found a seat close to them and they started chatting though Pearl never joined in

“Never knew Ronny is a twin” Love said….

“That idiot hates letting people know I’m his twin and that’s why most people think I’m his junior sis, thanks to his tall height” Romina pouted

” Oh, but you’re pretty” Veera said

“You both are pretty too, but is she a sadist?” Romina asked, referring to Pearl who’s frowny and silent

“Oh, she’s my sis, I’m a triplet and she’s one of us, our third sis is not in school today cos of a reason” Love replied

” I’m sorry but I don’t like Pearl, she looks dangerous” Romina said

That instant, Kingsley stormed into the class and came for Pearl straight

He pulled her out of the class

“That’s Kingsley the Casanova, your brother” Romina said

” Sure, my sweet cute brother” Veera smiled

“What!” Pearl snapped immediately Kingsley let her go when they got to an empty classroom

“You did it right?, How could you frame your sister!” He said

“Did what!” She snarled

” Transferred the video from her phone without her knowledge then deleted it from hers and you hacked her account to post it” he said

” Too bad you found out but it’s all your fault!, Why must it be her!” Pearl replied

” What!”

” Yes it is, if you had looked at me, I won’t have been like this” she replied

” You’re crazy” he said

” Yes I am, you k-ssed me and…

” And you pushed me away!, That’s not an excuse cos you told me to stay away and I did!” He replied

” But what if I say I’ve always loved you, it was love at first sight” she replied

“the fact still remains that I feel nothing for you!” He replied

” Then do you feel something for her?, Jewel?” Pearl said

Kingsley waited for seconds before answering

“Get off my face!” He yelled and started leaving but she hugged him from behind

“Kingsley you can’t do this, I really do love you” she said

He pushed her off himself and she fell

He looked at her and smirked. “You disgust me” he said and stormed out

Pearl stood, breathing heavily. “I won’t stop” she said

Night, Kings lounge**

The triplets car stopped in front of the lounge and they all came out including Jewel though she was forced to come

Romina and Veera are already waiting

“I guess you’re Jewel” Romina said

“Yes, and you’re Romina” Jewel replied and Romina nodded then hugged her

” I love you, I just love you without a reason” Romina said, breaking the hug then she pecked her

” I love you instantly too, you’re cute” Jewel replied

“And you’re hot!, I admire your shape,… it’s….crazy!, If I have your kind of shape, trust me all the guys in B-KAY will be with the psychiatrist right now, I’mma drive them insane” Romina said and they all laughed except Pearl

Veera hugged her next. “So sorry baby” she said

“I love you” Jewel replied

” I had to force her to come” Love said

“And here she is, let’s rock the club!” Romina shouted

“And have fun!” Veera added as they entered the club

Surprisingly The Kings are already in but only Jasmine and Richmond are sitting, Kingsley is not on seat but he suddenly appeared, walking down their way

Jewel stood on her s₱0t with the others and get heart lost its regularity, it worked irregularly as Kingsley continued walking that way, not taking his eyes off her till he got to her

Shockingly he grabbed her wa-ist and made her body slam on his own, he placed his l-ips directly on her ear and that made her melt

Pearl folded her fist, trying to control her jealousy

“I’m sorry witch, you can slap me if you want but I gat to do this again” he said directly to her ear and right on the s₱0t..

He looked at Pearl before placing his l-ips on Jewel’s neck, same s₱0t as last time

“OMG!” Everyone gasped in shock

“Kingsley…” Jewel said and that only made him s-ck h-rder on her neck and her wh0le body felt as if it’s electrified

The tingling feeling took over her as she slowly closed her eyes.
