FREDERICK’S PENT HOUSE

Frederick woke up thirty minutes after Tiffany left.

He let out a slow smile when he recall how she felt sleeping by his side.

She’s really the girl he need, the girl he wants to wake up and see everyday beside him on the bed and naked after hours of them making love and….

“Am glad you are up ” Yvonne said ruining his thought and getting him wide awake.

“Why are you here? Where’s Tiffany?” He asked.

“Long gone” Yvonne replied in irritation.

“What did you say to her?” Frederick asked as he got out of the bed.

“That she’s not worth your time, that you don’t go for girls like her and that even if you do, you will only have fun with her and dump her” Yvonne answered bitterly.

“You really are frustrating!” Frederick said as he pick up his car key.

“Don’t tell me you are going after her?” Yvonne asked.

“Get out of my way” he snapped and she move away from the door.

“Why her? Why did it have to be her?” Yvonne asked and that made him stop in his track.

“Cause she’s different, she’s the first girl who manage to steal her way into my heart even with out her knowing. She’s not a cold calculating bitch like you and she won’t ever cheat on me like you did. She’s far more better than you” Frederick said turning to leave but Yvonne ran to him, wrapping her arms around his waist.

“I love you Rick and I want you back” she said tightening her hold on his waist.

“Just stop it Yvonne!” Frederick lash out as he pulled her hand off.

“Love? I doubt you’ve ever love some one sincerely. I know that you are going out with my cousin, since am no longer into you, you decide to go for Jefferey ” he added which got her eyes widening in shock.

“Jefferey only invited me out, there’s nothing going on between Jefferey and I ” Yvonne denied.

“Your lies are getting to be boring and annoying. Anyway, I don’t care what you do with Jefferey, I just want you to stay away from me. Can I have the keys to my apartment” he asked and reluctantly she gave it to him.

“Don’t ever set foot in here again and I wish you and Jefferey a happy relationship since you both suit each other” he said as he turn to leave.

“I won’t give up! You are mine Frederick, only mine!” Yvonne scream after him but he didn’t stop to give her a reply.

“Where should I take you sir?”Willow asked.

“I will be driving myself. Just make sure that she leaves and under no circumstance must she get back into my house” Frederick said before getting into the car.

TIFFANY HOME

Tiffany slowly made her way back home, she was deep in thought that she didn’t notice Frederick’s car parked in front of her house until he got out of it.

“Tiffany” he called and immediately she began walking fast not wanting to talk to him but he got to her before she could succeed.

“We need to talk” he said.

“We’ve got nothing to talk about” she said trying to free her arm from his hold but he only pulled her to him.

“Yvonne means nothing to me” he said.

“I don’t think so cause people know when to give up. If you aren’t encouraging her then she will stop showing up”

“I didn’t….”

“Anyway it’s none of my business. You are free to be with whomever you want, I don’t care, I only want you to leave me alone” she said trying to pull free.

“Let go of me Frederick!” She added when he won’t let her go.

“Let her go!” Philip said gruffly as he pulled Frederick hand off Tiffany’s.

“Am having a conversation with Tiffany and so I need you to excuse us” Frederick said trying to hold back his anger.

“Tiffany doesn’t want to talk and you seem to be scaring her and so I think it’s best you leave” Philip replied hotly.

Seeing the anger emanating from both men, Tiffany decide to do some thing.

“Philip, let me have a word with him” She said which brought his gaze on her.

“Are you sure you don’t need me here?” He asked.

“I can handle it myself” she cajoled and that got him walking away.

“I will be waiting outside your home, call out if you need me” Philip replied glaring at Frederick who was also doing the same.

“Why the hell is he here?” Frederick asked the first thing that came to mind.

“He is living next door” she replied.

“For real? And here I am living 62km away from you while he’s living so close. Maybe I should get a house in this neighborhood” he said starring around.

“Even if you get a house, it won’t change my decision. I can’t marry you Frederick and as you know, I love some one else and I don’t think my heart will open up to any one else” She replied.

“And you aren’t willing to give it a chance?” He asked which got her nodding.

“I know my heart Frederick and It won’t ever beat for you or anyone else”

“Never say never, Tiffany.”

“Just take my answer as it is and find some one else. I can tell by the things you did today that you really are a caring guy and am sure that you will find a girl to give all that care and attention….”

“It’s you I only want to care for, it’s you I love, why can’t you take a chance and try me out? ” he asked cutting her off.

“Just get rid of your feelings for me, Good night Frederick” she said choosing to end their discussion instead of giving a reply.

“This isn’t the end, Tiffany. I won’t give up on you” he said after her and she didn’t give a reply as he said.

Tiffany was heading back in when her heart began thumping fast.

Could her discussion with Frederick have cause it to react this way? She thought as she began hitting her chest.

“Is he gone?” Philip question got her startled.

“You scared me” she said.

“I told you that I will be waiting here. Now tell me what’s going on between you and the president?” He asked.

“Nothing, we were just having a talk” Tiffany replied.

“About what?”

“About the company ” she lied.

“Why do I feel that you are lying?” Philip asked.

“And why would I lie to you?”

“Tell me honestly, why was he with you? Why did he come to visit you this….”

“Philip, Am a grown up and I can take care of myself now, gone were the days when I always ran to you for help” she said cutting him off.

“I don’t think you are fit enough to take care of yourself” he said as his phone began to ring.

Tiffany saw who the caller was before he disconnect.

“You’ve really got to….”

“Stop acting like a mother hen and go to Layla. I can take care of myself, I mean it” she said slowly.

“Why aren’t you telling me what’s going on between you and Frederick?” Philip asked.

“Cause it’s nothing. Look, am getting sleepy already and I suggest you go to Layla before she gets mad. Good night” she said as she quickly went into the house before he ask her more questions.

NEXT DAY~ JUPITER COLLEGE

Brianna was getting her notes ready for the next class when their home room teacher came in and accompanying her is none other than Kelvin.

“Good morning class” Mrs Smith greeted and they all replied.

“Due to a recent incident. Kelvin Clinton will be studying in our class till further notice” she said which got the girls feeling excited and murmuring all sort of nonsense except for Brianna who hate the thought of studying in the same class with him.

“Now, about where you will seat. You can take the….”

“Mrs Smith, if you don’t mind I would like to do that myself” he said which got her nodding straight away obviously mesmerized by Kelvin beauty.

Turning back to the class, Kelvin ignored the call from other girls and went straight to the girl seating next to Brianna.

“Can you please seat at the back while I stay here? You see I have a poor eye sight” he said charmingly to the girl who willingly gave up her seat.

With a triumphant smile on his face, he sat beside Brianna who ignored him.

“I hope you all treat him with care and make him feel loved” Mrs Smith said.

“We sure will” a female student said eagerly and that got the rest echoing the same thing.

“One more thing Mrs Smith. As you know, am not that good in math and so I need some one good to tutor me In math, can Brianna do it cause I know that she’s one of the best student” Kelvin asked as his gaze move towards Brianna stunned one.

“Sure. You are free to help him right?”

“I can’t do it Mrs Smith, I already have a lot of things to do”

“Really? But you told me just this morning that you are willing to help those that have low grade and here’s one in front of you” Mrs Smith said.

“But….”

“Just help him out Brianna. Be a good girl to him and Kelvin don’t mess with Brianna. See you during class” she said leaving the room.

Brianna let out a defeated sigh while Kelvin sat down beside her looking smug.

“You did this on purpose right?” Brianna asked and he nodded.

“Of course, it’s the only way I can be close to you” he said which got her face wrinkling in distaste.

“Hate me however you want but you are stuck with me now” he added just as the English teacher walk into the class.

“She refused you twice?” Lucas asked while Frederick nodded in reply.

“Wow! She really is one kind of a girl. A lot of girls would be dying for your attention and here’s one refusing it” Lucas added.

“That’s all due to her feelings for Philip” Frederick said as he broke the pencil in his hand in anger.

“Instead of taking it out on the pencil, just get him fired. If she doesn’t see him at work that will lessen her feelings towards him” Lucas suggested.

“I won’t do some thing like that just to earn Tiffany’s love and to be honest, Philip is good at his job, it would be lame for me to fire him because of a girl” he replied and that got Lucas shrugging.

“Fine then. Now let me get back to my work but can I use your phone?” Lucas asked.

“Why use mine when you have yours”

“Stop being petty and just let me use it and you passed the task onto me, you should be the one doing it or perhaps you want to handle it yourself?” Lucas asked.

“No. I let you handle it for a reason” Frederick replied as he went back to checking the folders in front of him while Lucas made his call.

It wasnt until he called out a familiar name that Frederick attention was siezed.

“Did you just say George Clinton?” Frederick asked and the confused Lucas nodded.

“End the call, let me handle it” He said to Lucas who ended the call.

“Why are you suddenly interested?”

“Don’t you see! This will get me what I want with Tiffany” Frederick replied.

“Don’t tell me you plan to use that In getting…..really?” Lucas asked and Frederick nodded .

“This is my last option, if I don’t get Tiffany with this then I will give up” Frederick said while Lucas shook his head at him but Frederick focus was on how he will get to use the info on Tiffany.

CAFETERIA

“Must we have our lunch here?” Lucas asked as the other employee present at the cafeteria kept starring at them.

“Of course, my wife to be is a chef here” Frederick replied as he kept searching for Tiffany.

“Are you perhaps looking for Tiffany?” Lucas ask.

“Do you see her?”

“She’s at the counter talking to your rival” Lucas replied and that got Frederick starring at the counter.

She was talking to Philip and whatever they were talking about certainly got their attention because they didnt notice him and that got him pulling out his phone.

“Are you sure you are okay?” Philip asked on seeing the dark shadow under her eyes.

“I am and this will be the sixth time you ask that. Just take your drink and go and have your lunch” she said.

“Fine, this one is mine and this is yours” Philip said giving her the other smoody he ordered for himself.

“Thanks” she said waving him off just as she got a text.

★ ARE YOU NOW FLIRTING WITH HIM, EVEN RIGHT IN MY PRESENCE? ★ on reading the text.

She looked around the cafeteria until she saw Frederick watching her three tables away.

★ AM NOT FLIRTING WITH ANYONE AND BESIDES HAVE TOLD YOU TO QUIT YOUR FEELINGS FOR ME ★ She texted in return before leaving the cafeteria.

A while later, she was leaving the rest room when she saw Frederick waiting for her.

“Why are you here?” She asked as he walk towards her.

“I came to tell you some thing” he said.

“What?”

“Go and talk to your father”

“Ugh?”

“Talk to him and get back to me, just as it is important to you, it’s also important to me” he said looking very serious.

She didn’t get to ask him what he meant because he left.
