🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️
I sat in the car and Aiden drove off in the rain
Did he just tell me he likes me?
What does he mean by that?
Does that mean he loves me? Or is it just ordinary likeness
I still haven’t told him what happened yesterday
“Ummm…… Aiden” I called, unsure of how to start
“Don’t distract me dummy, it’s hard driving in the rain, I need to concentrate” he said and I kept silent
We drove back to the school and he stopped in front of my dorm
“About what I said earlier, don’t think about it too much, it doesn’t mean anything” he quickly said
“O….okay” I stuttered
“About last night, I only….”
“There’s no need for you to explain anything, I knew I couldn’t keep my Mom a secret forever, I think it’s better that everyone knows now, I’ll just have to deal with it” he interrupted
“But I really didn’t tell the reporter anything”
“I believe you” he said
“Really?” I asked
“Yes and am sorry I was harsh to you this morning, I wasn’t thinking straight” he apologized
“You should go in now” he said and I nodded
“Thanks” I muttered as I came down from the car
He drove off and I went inside the dorm
I walked to the room and Lucy and Mia were there
“Where did you suddenly ran off to in the morning, we were so worried” Mia said
“Am sorry for getting you guys worried” I apologized
“You are drenched” Lucy said “You should take a hot bath first or you’ll catch a cold”
I took my towel and walked into the bathroom

I finished bathing and I feel much better
I walked to the room and I sat down on my bed
“Ummm guys….. What does it mean when a guy tells you he likes you?” I asked
“It could mean he loves you, it could also me he just likes you, like as a friend” Lucy answered
“Did he kiss you after saying that?” Mia asked
“What! No”
“Did he say any romantic things, something like that I can’t live without you?” Mia asked
“Not really”
“After he told you he likes you, did he mention it again?” She asked
“Yeah, he said I shouldn’t think of it too much, that it means nothing”
“Then I guess it really means nothing, maybe he just likes you as friend” Mia said and I sighed
Of course that’s it, was I actually thinking that Aiden loves me?
I scoffed
Get a hold of yourself Emily, this is reality not some kind of fairytale
🎙️ Aiden’s POV 🎙️
I entered the apartment and Bryan, Jason, Michael and Naty were there
“Aiden!” Naty said as she came to hug me
“I was so scared thinking something happened to you”
“What the hell were you thinking Aiden, do you know how worried we were!!” Bryan yelled
“Am sorry Bryan”
“Because of you, I’ll have to start taking my BP drugs again!” He yelled
“Am sorry” I apologized again
“Stop apologising, you should argue and yell too so that I can get more angry!” He yelled again and I just kept quiet
He sighed and then looked at me
“Get changed, you might catch a cold if you remain in that cloth” he said and I nodded
“Thanks” I said as I walked off to my room
🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️

I dressed up and I took my books and guitar
Am having music composition class first, then the guitar class later
“Let’s go Emmy, Mia just texted me that she’s waiting for us outside the dorm” Lucy said
We went outside the dorm and met Mia and we left for the class together
We got to the class and moments later, the music fairies came in too
As usual, everyone rushed to them just to see them or to get an autograph
Few minutes later, the professor came in and everyone returned to their seats
An hour later the professor was done with his lecture
“And for your assignment, it’s gonna take a long time if I asked each of you to play your songs so just make a video clip of you playing the song and send it to my portal” the professor said and went out of the class
I have a guitar class immediately after this so I quickly left for my class
🎙️ Lucy’s POV 🎙️
I was done with my classes so I went to my room
My phone beeped and I got a text from the Chancellor’s secretary to report in the Chancellor’s office
Why does he wants to see me?
Is he going to tell me to quit school for a year now?
Why won’t he just believe that am not pregnant
I left the dorm and went to his office
“Miss Lucy” he said as I entered his office
“You called for me Sir” I said
“Yes, I just talked with the manager of the music fairies and he told me everything and that you aren’t really pregnant so I just want to apologise for misunderstanding you and to tell you that you don’t have to take a year off school anymore” he said

I jumped with joy immediately I left the office
Michael must have told his manager to call the Chancellor
I took my phone and I gave him a call
🗨️ “What’s up Lucy?”
“Can we meet now?” I asked
🗨️ “Sure, where are you?” He asked
I told him where I was and he told me to wait for him
Minutes later I saw him coming and I ran to hug him
“This is weird” he said
“Thank you so much Michael, you don’t know how scared I was thinking I might really have to quit school for a year, thank you for helping me” I said as I disengaged from the hug
“It’s okay, I told you I hate seeing people get hurt because of me” he said
“Thanks” I said
“So can I go back now? I still have one more class that will be holding soon” he said and I smiled
“Sure, thanks for coming”
🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️
Am done with my classes for today and am so tired
I came back to the dorm and no one was in the room
I sat on the bed and dropped my books
Moments later, Lucy came in and she looked really happy
“What happened? Did you win a lottery?” I asked
“Michael helped me, I won’t have to quit school for a year anymore” she said
“Wow, that’s great Lucy” I said with a smile
The door opened again and Mia came in
“Guess what guys” she said
“What’s it?” Lucy asked
“I went to the notice board to check the result of a test I had but I noticed something pasted on the board. Next week is battle of the bands!!” She squealed
“Battle of the bands?” I asked
“It’s a competition where people form different bands and come to sing, the winner gets a cash price and a sponsorship from the school if they want to debut” Lucy explained
“Wow, that’s cool” I said
“So, I got us a membership form!” Mia said as she brought out the form
“What!!” Lucy exclaimed
“You want us to form a band and compete?!” I asked wide-eyed
“Yeah, we have all the requirements, Lucy plays the drum set, I play the piano and you Emmy, you play the guitar and you can also sing” Mia said
“But will we be able to win?” Lucy asked
“This isn’t about winning Lucy, it’s just for us to have fun” Mia said
“Okay then, let’s do it” I said
“Fine” Lucy said
“Yes!!” Mia exclaimed
“But first, you guys should help me with my video recording while I play the song I wrote for the professor’s assignment” I said
“Sure” Lucy said

I got up from the bed, it’s morning again, another hectic day of running around for classes
We’ve recorded our songs and we submitted it to the professor’s portal yesterday
This time, I made a video clip of me submitting the assignment in case Naty deletes it from the professor’s computer again
I showered, dressed up and went for my class
I finished my classes and I got a text from Aiden
💬 Let’s meet up, wait for me in front of your dorm 💬
I smiled as I walked towards my dorm
I saw Isaac passing and I walked up to him
I’ve really wanted to speak with him all this while
“Hey Emily” he said with a smile as he saw me
“Is this your idea of a revenge huh? Revealing someone’s personal life and making it public, how could you be so shameless!” I said
“Don’t judge me Emily, you don’t know what Aiden took from me” he said
“What was it?! What did he do to you that was so bad that you had to hurt him that way!”
“Isaac?!!” I heard someone say and I turned back to see Aiden behind me
“What the hell are you doing here?!” Aiden angrily
“You know him?” I asked Aiden
“Yes, he used to be Naty’s boyfriend” he said
“What!”
“But he’s bad news, he would always maltreat Naty and beat her up, you should stay away from him” Aiden said and Isaac scoffed
“You still believe that cock and bull story” Isaac said
“I saw it with my own eyes and I can clearly remember that I warned you never to show your face to me or Naty or I’ll have to give you the beating of your life again!” Aiden said
“Beating of my life? Well go ahead, am sure it won’t be as painful as the last time, there’s nothing for me to loose anymore” Isaac said
“Why are you here Isaac?” Aiden asked
“For revenge, am here for revenge Aiden, am going to make your life miserable just like you did to me” Isaac said
“Revenge? You talk as if you were the victim where as it was Naty!” Aiden said
“I am the victim Aiden, because of what you did I lost my Mom!” Isaac yelled
“What!” I said surprised
“You came to my house that night, and you beat me up so much that I was really injured and I lost consciousness, my Mom came home and found me on the ground barely breathing, she took me to the hospital and she was asked to go buy some drugs for me, on her way to the pharmaceutical store to get the drugs, she got into an accident and she died, so it was all your fault Aiden, you and Naty. Naty used me while you made me loose my mother so I will get my revenge Aiden, I’ll get my revenge on both of you” Isaac said and walked away
I stood still, trying to understand all I just heard
