Episode 42

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“But you need to behave well, there are other patients in the ward,” the nurse said with a frown and tried to free herself from her.

“Maybe you should teach me how to behave, if anything happens to my boyfriend I’ll first come for you,” Emma said and hit Ray with her leg.

She released the nurse’s hair from her grip and glared dangerously at her.

“Learn to mind your business Miss nurse,” Emma said and say gently on the chair.

Different thoughts keep running in her head, she was going cràzy just mere thinking of how Rowen is lying down lifelessly on the bed.

“He will be fine,” Jayden said and tried to touch her, Emma glared at him and shift away from him.

“I’m sorry” Jayden replied and look away immediately.

“You guys aren’t living until Rowen wakes up, and if he didn’t we will all dîe after him, because if you guys are very careful, something like this won’t happen to Rowen, he won’t be in a hospital bed by now,” Emma said.

“Your so boyfriend is the caused of Everything, why will you be blaming us for a sin we don’t commit, and it’s very obvious he can’t make it, he has only five minutes left now, and they haven’t come out,” Ray said and Emma gave him a resounding slap.

EMMA P.O.V

Seriously I don’t know how my hand makes it to his face.

This guy is an àsshólè, how can he say Rowen is going to diè. “Mind your speech!” I said angrily.

“You’re biting more than you can chew,'” he said angrily.

“You can’t do anything to me I’ll make sure I kill you myself if anything happens to Rowen,” I said and tears dropped freely from my eyes.

I don’t understand why Rowen and Austin are in the hospital at the same time, I need someone to tell me why because I’m going crazy right now.

“And what’s that doctor still doing?” I asked and stood up immediately.

I walked to the ward and he came out with a smile.

“Her blood matches his,” the doctor said and smile widely.

“Does that means Rowen will be fine?” I asked. “No I can’t assure you, I told him, guys, that his chance of survival is 30/100, we need to give him the blood before we start the main Operation,” The doctor said.

“Do everything in your power to make him fine!” I yelled, honestly this doctor have started to annoy me.

“Relax madam, I’m not God,” he said and I feel like slapping him, I just have to stop myself from disfiguring his face.

“You should be in the ward with him,” I said. “No I’ll go in,side In five minutes,” the doctor said and Brittany come outside from the ward.

“thank you very much, Brittany,” I said and hugged her happily.

“Madam are you related to him?” The doctor asked and Brittany nod her head negatively.

“Don’t tell me my blood work for him?” Brittany asked.

“Sure it did, your blood is also rare,” the doctor said and walked away.

“I need to see Dora!” Brittany said and disengage from the hug.

“You need rest!” I replied with a frown. “I’m suspecting Dora and Steve,” Brittany said.

“Why are you suspecting them?” I asked.

“Babe wake up, Dora is after you and Austin life’s, because she promised to make Austin Pay for not helping her, you no I track her, so I overheard telling someone on phone.

while Steve told Dora he can do his thing alone,” Brittany said, seriously she’s right, I didn’t think like this.

“We are going together!” I said.

“No you’ll go to Steve’s house and I’ll go to Dora’s house” Brittany replied.

“You’re right so let’s go!” I said and we both walked to the reception.

“We’ll be right back!” Brittany said to one of the guys.

“It’s late already” the calm guy replied.

“Brittany let’s go! You guys shouldn’t leave, if you do, we are gonna gun you down” I said and dragged Brittany out.

“Let me drive!” I said stretching my hand at Brittany.

“No, you can’t drive I’m not ready to dîe because I’m very sure you aren’t with your right senses now” Brittany replied.

She’s right, I’m just trying to be fine, the thought of Rowen fills my heart, how can he have 20/100? What happened to him are the questions in my mind.

“Wake up Emma and get in,side the car!” Brittany replied.

AUTHORESS P.O.V

Brittany dropped Emma off at Steve’s apartment before driving off to Dora’s apartment.

Emma moved closer to Steve’s door and placed a knocked on his door.

Steve rushed to open the door immediately he heard the knock.

“Emma, what are you doing out? By this time of the day?” Steve asked with a frown.

“What did you do to my boyfriend?” Emma asked with a frown.

“Boyfriend? The last time I checked you don’t have one” Steve replied.

“Stop pretending as if you don’t know what I’m talking about, what did you do to Rowen?” Emma yelled and Steve hissed out loud.

“that loser?” Steve asked with a smirk and Emma gave him a resounding slap.

“Did you just slap me?” Steve asked and manhandled her. He dragged her in,side and lock the door from behind.

“What are you trying to do?” Emma asked moving back.

“I’m trying to show you how much I need you, I want to put my seed in,side you” Steve yelled.

“You can’t do anything to me!” Emma yelled. “Watch me!” Steve said and brought out a gun. “Steve what are you doing with a gun?” Emma asked scared.

“Don’t ask me f00lish questions lye down flat on the bed” Steve commanded. “Steve doesn’t do this to me!” Emma pledged and Steve left out a mockingly laugh.

“I’ve always loved you, I did all my possible best to have you, but you’re proving stubborn, thank goodness you came here yourself, I’m not letting you slip out of my hands,” Steve said with a smile.

Brittany parked the car far from Dora’s house and came down from the car. She moved closer to the door and placed a knocked on it.

She brought out her phone and dialed Dora’s number when she didn’t see anybody. Dora picked up the call on the second ring.

“I’m outside your house come and open the door,” Brittany said. “Are you for real? How did you even know my house in the first place?” Dora asked with a frown.

She came down from the bed and put on her flip flop.

“How did she know my house? Is she stalking me?” Dora asked and picked up a gun from her nightstand.

“How’s he?” Jayden asked immediately he saw the doctor.

“I’ve done the operation, he has Ten hours to sleep, if he didn’t wake up in the ten hours, he’s dèàd, his chance of survival is very low,” the doctor said.

“Are you supposed to give me bad news, why are you telling me he has a low chance of survival? You aren’t competent at all” Jayden said with a frown.

“I’m sorry, I was just doing my job, I’m telling you this because anything can happen,” the doctor said.

“What if I said, he must come out alive, you better do something,” Jayden said.

“Where’s Rowan?” Austin asked coming out from his ward. “I thought I gave you sleeping..” “injection” Austin cut in with a frown.

Episode 43

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“I don’t think she means any harm!” Dora said and drop her gun back.

“Hey!” Dora said with a smile and Brittany glared at her. “What are you doing here by this time of the night and what happened to you?” Dora asked.

“Did you know Rowen is in the hospital? What did you do to him?” Brittany yelled.

“Hey I didn’t do anything to Rowen, you know I can never hurt him, he’s my brother” Dora replied.

“You can’t hurt him, but you can hurt Austin right?” Brittany yelled again.

“I was just joking when I said I’ll hurt Austin, I can’t hurt Austin I’m only after your friend, what happened to Rowen? Which hospital he’s in?” Dora asked.

“Are you sure you don’t know anything about it?” Brittany asked.

“Sure I don’t how can I hurt my own brother, but come to think of it how did you know I promised to deal with Austin? because I don’t remember telling you that” Dora said.

“You’ve short memory then, you told me maybe you’ve forgotten,” Brittany replied.

“I can see you really love my brother, I should have followed you to the hospital, but I’m feeling sleepy I don’t wanna sleepwalk” Dora replied.

“I understand, I’ll see you later tomorrow” Brittany replied and walked to where she parked her car.

“She’s in love with him, but I’m still gonna kîll her” Dora said and burst into laughter.

“But who’s after Rowen? Could it be Steve? Steve will see me in his house tomorrow, he will tell me the reason why he hurt my man” Dora said and went back to sleep.

“I guessed she’s saying the truth, but the cops are coming for you tomorrow,” Brittany said and entered the car.

Steve moved closer to Emma on the bed. Emma turned him over, she put off his chest and kept eye contact with him, she hit her head on his head and the gun fall freely from his hand.

Emma hurriedly picked up the gun before he did.

“You think you’re smart?” Emma asked and point the gun at him.

“Shoot if you can,” Steve said with a smirk. “And you think I can’t!” Emma said and shoot him in his leg.

“Ouch!” Steve yelled in pain.

“What did you do to Rowen?” Emma asked. “I did nothing, I didn’t do anything to Rowen” Steve replied.

“Are you f×¢king lying to me?” Emma asked and picked up a bottle from the table, she moved closer to Steve and hit it on his head and blood gush out from his head.

“Ahh, Emma!” Steve shouted

. Emma shoot his second leg and left out a smirk.

“You think you can rape me? I thought you’re a good person I never knew you’re an animal, I took you like a brother” Emma said with a smile.

“You’ll also die If anything happens to Rowen!” Emma said and walked out of the house with the gun in her hand.

“Hey I’ve been trying your number,” Brittany said immediately she see Emma

. “That àsshole tried to rape me,” Emma said. “What did he succeed?” Brittany asked.

“He can’t!” Emma replied and showed Brittany the gun.

“Where did you see the gun and how did you escape from him?” Brittany asked.

“I outsmarted him,” Emma replied with a smile. “We can’t go with the gun in your hand, we don’t have the license to it,” Brittany said.

“I know I’m gonna throw it away” Emma replied and throw the gun away.

“Hey what you did isn’t right,” Brittany said. “What did I do?” Emma asked.

“The gun, what if someone else sees it, or little children?” Brittany asked.

“What should I do?” Emma asked.

“We are gonna bury it,” Brittany said and they both get down from the car. Brittany dig a hole with a stick and they buried the gun in it.

Emma cleaned her hand and they both walked back to the car.

“I need to call the cops, Steve is in,side going through pain, I shot his two legs and hit the bottle on his head,” Emma said and Brittany covered her mouth with her palm.

“I never knew you can do that!” Brittany said.

“I myself didn’t know I can do it, the thought of Rowen in the hospital battling for his life made me to” Emma replied.

“Was he the one?” Brittany asked.

“To be sincere I’m confused, he said he wasn’t the one” Emma replied.

“Dora also denied knowing anything About it, I think we are gonna wait till they both wake up” Brittany replied.

“Are you sure Rowen will wake up?” Emma asked.

“Sure let’s be optimistic!” Brittany replied and Emma nodded her head.

“The cops!” Brittany said. “Oh, thanks for reminding me,” Emma said and dialed a number.

“Why did you inject me with sleeping medicine?” Austin asked.

“That’s because you need rest enough rest to Regain the strength you lost” the doctor replied.

“Did you expect me to sleep when I haven’t seen Rowen, something is fishy, where’s Rowen?” Austin asked with a frown.

“He’s in,side one of the wards since that’s what you wanna hear” Ray replied with a frown.

“Ray who sent you?” Jayden asked angrily.

“I sent myself and moreover I’m only helping the doctor, he should be thanking me” Ray replied.

“Don’t tell me they succeeded in shooting Rowen!” Austin yelled and tears drop from his eyes.

“How can a man like you be crying, anyway I’ll answer your question, I mistakenly hit him with our truck when he was wandering around the street” Ray replied.

“Gosh! What type of human are you?” Jayden lament. “Good human being” Ray replied.

“Where’s his ward? I need to see him” Austin replied.

“He’s in a serious condition, so he didn’t need any disturbance” the doctor replied.

“What am I gonna tell Mr. and Mrs. Hunt,” Austin said crying.

“Tell them their son is dèad” Ray replied and stood up.

“I’m very sorry on his behalf,” Jayden said. Austin walked to the receptionist and started scattering all the books on their table.

“Calm down Mr,” sapphire said.

“Stop me if you can!” Austin shouted and sapphire moved back in front.

“What type of patients did we admit today!” The doctor said before walking out to get the security.

The security walked in,side the hospital and dragged Austin back to the ward.

They closed the door and walked back to their post.

“What’s this îdîot doing outside? I hope Rowen is awake because I’ll kîll him if Rowen Is still lying down there and he’s here smoking” Emma said and came down from the car angrily.

“Is my boyfriend awake?” Emma asked. “Your boyfriend is good as a deàd man, he has only eight hours to leave” Ray replied smiling.

Emma put off her heel and hit it hærd on Ray’s head.

“The only luck you have is that I don’t beat a woman,” Ray said and walked to their truck.

THE NEXT DAY

“Aunty where’s Mum?” Sophia asked immediately she woke up.

“She went out to get somethings, she will soon be back” Nadia replied.

“Are you sure?” Sophia asked and Nadia nod his head.

“Let me prepare your bath I’ll be right back!” Nadia said and Sophia nod her head.

“I don’t really know Emma isn’t picking up my calls, I hope they’re fine” Nadia muttered to himself but it was loud enough for Sophia to hear.

“Are you sure my mum is fine?” Sophia asked and Nadia nod her head with a smile.

“Call her or Dad I wanna talk to them” Sophia replied.

“I don’t have your Dad’s number,” Nadia said. “Call mum then” Sophia replied.

“It’s eight hours already!” Austin and Emma said at the same time and they both stood up from the chair.

Austin later came out of the ward this morning and Emma explained everything to him. “Doctor, how’s he?” Emma asked immediately the doctor came out of his office.

“I’m just going to check on him” the doctor replied and Emma nod her head.

The doctor stepped in,side Rowen’s ward with sapphire by his side.

He moved closer to Rowen’s bed and check the beeping machine.

“Shît, he’s not breathing again!” The doctor said and Sapphire pitifully nod her head.

“Cover him,” the doctor said and walked out of his ward with a frown.

“Is he awake?” Emma asked with a frown. “Actually..”

“Talk actually what, he’s fine right?” Emma asked with a smile.

“He’s not fine, he’s dèàd” The doctor dropped the bombshell. “I know you’re joking, Rowen can’t dîe,” Emma said and burst into laughter.
