Elina arranged the table after making so much food.
She watched as the travel man opened his small eyes and yawned passionately.

“Welcome back wise one” she said.

“Thank you my child”

“I’ve made a lot of food. Please eat!” She said.

The travel man stared at the food and shook his head.

“I’m not hungry. What can I help you with?” He asked.

Elina squeezed her face. She had spent the whole day cooking only the food to get rejected at the end. Well, she was happy so that he won’t waste much of his time on earth.

“We need to know how to kill a Specie” she said.

“Specie? Do they still exist?” He asked with shock on his face.

“Yes, there’s one on the loose. He has killed many people in the last few days” she said.

“Well, we didn’t know how to kill a Specie then. I’ve been in the book” he said.

Elina sighed and lowered her gaze.
“Okay travel one. Excuse me!” She said and left.

The travel man stared at the food again and started eating.

Kylie has cried out her eyes since the whole day. She just stared at Jasper’s lifeless body that was on the floor.

She didn’t understand why everyone that she ever loved keeps dying. Her mother, Jackson and now Jasper.

That very minute, Kylie made up her mind that she’s never loving again.

She could hear nothing from the outside. She didn’t even know how long she’s been there.

She heard footsteps and stared at the door.
It opened and closed.

On seeing an annoying Charlie, Kylie sniffed in and diverted her gaze away from her.

“I’ve brought dinner for you sweetheart” Charlie said and brought the tray closer to her face.

But Kylie wasn’t interested. She just want to leave here immediately.

He took a spoonful of mashed potatoes and drew it closer to her mouth but she moved her face away.

“Aren’t you hungry sweetheart?” He asked.

“I’m nobody’s sweetheart, thanks to you! Just let me be!” She yelled at him.

Charlie chuckled and went back.
He dropped the spoon back into the plate.

“I’ll take this body away from here” he said and carried Jasper’s body on his shoulder.

He shot out his claws and cut her loose.
“You aren’t moving anywhere. Just stay here!” He warned and left.

Kylie loosed the rope from her and sat on the bed.
It was as if she was in a cave.

She pushed the plate away from the bed and laid down. She still couldn’t get Jasper off her head.
He died right in front of her and she couldn’t do anything.

He even wanted to die in her place.

“I should be nice to him if I want to leave here peacefully” she thought and gazed at the door that was locked.

The next day, Elina was coming from a walk. She also used the opportunity to buy some stuff from the city.

“Let me help you mom!”

She turned and saw a boy about nineteen years.

Elina furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head.
“It’s fine. I can handle it myself” she said.

“Just let me help you mom!”

Elina didn’t listen to him. She just tightened her grip on her bag as she walked into the woods.
She knew it was one of those young student who engage in stealing through helping others.

But the young boy didn’t stop following her. He kept on insisting that he help her.

Elina stopped walking and dropped her bags.
“If you don’t stop following me, you’ll force me to do what I don’t want to. Stay away from me, you thief!” She gr–ned.

The boy squeezed his face like he wanted to cry.
“He killed me mom. He killed me and he’s going to kill Kylie too” he said.

Elina slowly stared at him and walked towards him.
“Jasper? Jasper?!” She said and hugged him very tight.

“Oh my world! I’m so happy that you are alive” she said.

“Mom, we need to find her. We really need to” Jasper kept on crying.

Elina touched his head and sniffed in.
“We will find her. We just need to be very much careful. Let’s go home now” she said and grabbed her bag.

Jasper also helped her with some and they went back to the hangout.

Some of the witches didn’t believe that the newbie in the hangout was Jasper. They were happy that he was back but they were still missing Kylie.

Cindy, Robby and Diego were all present there. They wanted to ask him questions about what he saw if it would help them find a way to eliminate the Specie.

“Are you saying it turned into a human form?” Cindy asked.

“Yes, it’s just like the werewolves. They can change into their beast form anytime they want, that’s how it is for the Specie” Jasper replied.

“We don’t change to beast, it’s called wolf” Diego rolled his eyes.

“Where were you guys trapped?” Robby asked.

“I can’t remember but it’s something like a room, more like a cave. There isn’t any window. It’s so hærd to tell if it’s day or night” he said.

“That’s very horrible” Elina shook her head.

“We need to find where he stays and get Kylie back. I don’t know what he would do to her. He was saying something about Kylie being his mate”

“The Specie mate? That’s very bad”

They turned and saw the travel man walking into the room.

Jasper stared at him from head to toe.
“You completed the potion!” He said and Elina nodded.

“Yeah, I did. But he doesn’t have any idea how to kill a Specie. He has been in the book for so long” she explained to her son.

Jasper nodded and walked towards him.
“Why is it bad to be a Specie’s mate?” He asked.

“The Specie is more like a wild animal. He takes whatever he wants whenever he wants it. According to what I know, the Specie wants more power and loves to create things with power”

“What about someone like Kylie? She is a demigod!”

“A… A demigod?” He quickly asked.

“Yeah, she is” Jasper replied.

“A demigod that survived. That’s rare. She must be the very first demigod to pass the death age. I don’t know what the Specie would do with her. Except….”

Everyone shot their eyes open to listen to what he had to say.
“Except?” The chorused.

“Except he wants to make a super Specie” he said.

“What does that mean?” Elina frowned.

The travel man sat on the couch and placed his walking stick on the table.

“He’s going to sleep with her and infect her with his venom”

“What?!!!” They chorused.

Robby wasn’t happy with what he heard.
“What are you talking about? I can’t let a monster lay with my daughter!” He gr–ned.

The travel man chuckled.
“It is what it is” he said.

Charlie got into the Kylie’s room and saw her laying on the bed.

Kylie heard him opened the door. She had to pretend to be asleep.
She didn’t know what the Specie needed her for.

Charlie stared at the food she threw away. He picked them up and left.

Kylie sat up and bite her lower l-ips.
“I need to find a way to leave here and quick” she stood up from the creaky bed and tiptoed towards the door.

She turned the knob and the door made a creaky sound, making her really worried that Charlie may find out about her running away.

She left the room and kept on walking through the dark tunnel. It was just like a cave.

“Where the f–k is this place?” She murmured and she heard her echoes.

Kylie quickly closed her mouth and walked more slowly.
It was so dark throughout.

She suddenly heard Charlie as humming a song.

She turned back and ran into the room and pretended to be asleep.

Charlie entered into her room and opened another door in the room.

He placed some towels in it and shampoo, soap and some other toiletries.

Kylie watched him as he did all of that.
She knew that she’ll be staying here for a very long time.
But she didn’t understand why.

That gave her the impression that the Specie would never try to kill her. He would just threaten her.

She sat up and brushed her fingers into her hair.

He walked out of the bathroom and closed the door.

“Oh hey, look who’s awake” he said.

Kylie folded her arms.
“What do you want from me?”

Charlie walked towards her on the bed and sat on it.
“Why do you want to know?” He asked, drawing his face closer to hers.

Kylie lowered her gaze, staring at his l-ips.
She quickly diverted her gaze.

“I want to know. I’m the victim here” she said.

“I want to lay with you” he said.

Kylie stared at him and gave a quick laugh.
“With me? That’s would never happen!” She said.

“Fine then, it will get to a point that you’ll beg me for it” he whispered softly into her ears and walked away.

He moved to the door and turned to stare at her.
“And don’t try to escape again. I won’t be soft with you next time” he said and left.

Kylie angrily slammed her hand on the bed.
“Arghh!” She gr–ned.
