Sean’s lips curved into a smile when he saw Hazel. For some reasons, he felt drawn to her but he didn’t understand why.

“If I say yes, what would you think of me?” He replied, moving closer to her.

Hazel lowered her gaze, blushing. She held some leaf on her hands.

“I don’t know, maybe a pervert” she said.

“I see” he said, as he stood right in front it him.

“I don’t know how to hide things but I feel drawn to you” he said, almost in a whisper.

“I don’t think you are a wolf that the moon goddess would give me to you as your mate. So…”

Sean smiled and sat on a log. Hazel sat beside him too.

“Who got you angry today?”

“I’m not angry. I’m just… confused?” He said.

“Tell me, what’s that?”
He gave her a look, wondering if she could trust him.

“You said you can’t hide things. Besides, I just want to help” she said.

“I’m searching for my mom”

“Oh, I hope you find her as soon as possible” she said, with pity in her eyes.

“I know where she is already but can’t approach her. I don’t know how to face the woman that doesn’t know that I’m her son”

“Who is she? Maybe, I can help” she said.

“I don’t even know, I think my friend said, she’s a Demigod or so”

“Demigod? Isn’t that aunt Kylie?” She murmured.

Sean quickly turned his head to stare at her.
“Yes, Kylie! That’s the name. You know her?” He asked.

“Are you kidding me? Who doesn’t know aunt Kylie? But who are you her… Ah!” Hazel gasped and stood up. She slowly moved away from Sean.

“Y…you are her missing child. The Specie’s child. Stay away from me and this environment!” She yelled and turned to leave.

“No wait, Hazel. I’m not like my father. Trust me!” He said.

She looked into his eyes and saw that he was quite different.
She shook her head.

“I can’t trust you. Aunt trusted your father and she got stabbed in the back. I don’t want the same thing to happen to me” she said and left him.

“Hazel? Hazel!” He called out but she didn’t even stop. She just left and went into the hangout.

He angrily kicked the log and left the forest.

“Bye little Josh” Elina bid them goodbye as they walked towards the car.

“Take care good care of them. Bye!” Elina said to Kylie.

“Yes Mom” she said.

Jasper hugged his mother and they all head out of town.

Allison was still mad at her mother for not letting her go to the party. She just saw some of her friends posting the pictures online.

She hissed loudly and placed her phone on her laps.

“Allison?”

“Don’t talk to me mom!” She replied.

Kylie smiled and let her be. She didn’t want to anger her the more. She just spend the whole two days in her room doing nothing.

“You didn’t tell me about your friends”

“Well, they are all good. Looking younger than before” she said.

“That’s good to hear” he said and increased the speed. The road was cleared. The car just remained silent as everyone was busy with their phone while josh fell asleep in the car.

“Mom? Why can’t I get this silly necklace off my neck?!” Allison asked as she walked into her mother’s room.

Jasper was asleep already while Kylie tidy up the room. She noticed her mother giving her a crazy look, she has definitely done something bad.

“Oh, I’m sorry mom” she said and went out of the room.
Few seconds later, there a knock on the door.

“Come in!” Kylie said and Allison walked into the room.

“The necklace!” She said.

“Only I can take it off and I’ll do that when you are eighteen” she said.

“Whatever mom!” She said and left. She was still angry that she didn’t go to the party.

Allison went to her room and finish up her project.
She laid on her bed with her laptop right in front of her.

Sean had a slight headache. He walked to the kitchen and took some painkiller drugs which was in the first aid box.

“Argh!” He groaned and walked back to his room.
He fell on his bed and was thinking about Hazel walking out on him just because of his father’s mistake. Sometimes, he wished he could kill him and get rid of his body.

“Sean?”

“Speaking of the devil himself…” Sean thought and turned to face his father.

“What do you want?” He asked.

“I just want to check on you. You know, just like fathers check up on their sons” he said.

Sean scoffed.
“You must be kidding me dad. I just wish I could stop calling you that word Dad. How can you be so cruel to take me away from my mother when I was just an hour old. What exactly do you gain from it?” He asked, almost yelling.

“I know you are mad at me son. You have to calm down and hear me out”

“I don’t want to. Please leave!”

Charlie sighed and left the room in disappointment.

Sean fell back in the bed and closed his eyes, trying to sleep. His father has added to his headache.

“Thanks for the breakfast. I’m off to school!” Allison said.

“Oh no, finish your food. I’ll drop you off” Kylie said.

“But I’m filled already”

“Then wait in the car!” Kylie said, shooting her a hard glare.

Allison grabbed her bag and went to wait in her mother’s car.

“You shouldn’t yell at her like that. She’s hurt already” Jasper said and Kylie sighed.

“Take Josh to school. I want to speak to their principal” Kylie said and stood up. She kissed his cheek and Josh’s forehead.

“See you in the evening baby!”

“Bye Mom!” He waved.

She entered into the car and drove off.
“Why do you hate me mom?” Allison asked and Kylie laughed.

“I do not hate you. You don’t understand that I’m trying to protect you Allison. When you are old enough you will understand” she said.

She folded her arms and looked out of the window.
“It’s still the same thing mom. You hate me!” She said.

Suddenly, the car stopped.
“Have a nice day sweetie” she said.

Allison alight from the car and walked away.

Sean was behind Kylie’s car. He watched as Allison alight from her car and walked away.
“That must be my mom!” He said and followed the car behind.

He followed the car even as it went into the forest. It stopped and he also stopped. His car was a little distanced from hers.

Sean watched as Kylie alight from the car. She grabbed her bag and walked deeper into the forest.

“Why is she here?” Sean murmured and followed her. He didn’t want to make it obvious that someone is after her.

Kylie felt unsecured. She had a feeling that someone is stalking her.
She turned and didn’t find anyone.

She diverted her gaze and continued walking.
She was going to see her father in the dark mansion. It has been weeks since she saw him.

Sean was still following Kylie behind. He had no idea where she was headed to. He wished he could just walk up to her and tell her that he’s her son but the question on his mind was that does she wants him back?

“Why didn’t I think of that?” He murmured.
He looked front and saw that Kylie wasn’t there anymore.

“Where did she..argh!”

Immediately, someone pushed him to the floor.
He fell and quickly sprung up.

“Why are you stalking me?!” She asked and started hitting him he dodged every of her punches.

Kylie was even furious that she didn’t get to hit him. She just tried but all to no avail. He was so fast to dodge everything.

“Who are you?!” She growled angrily.

Sean just stared at her and walked closer to her. He placed his hand on her shoulder and she started to breath slowly.

Kylie stared into his eyes and saw that he was harmless. She became calm but her eyes were still fixed on him.
She didn’t even know if he’s a real student or just a specie going to school but she knew he wasn’t human.

Sean was happy that after nineteen years, he finally gets to touch his real mother. He wished that she wouldn’t leave his sight but they can’t stay there forever.

They were both silent for some seconds till he heard some yelling behind.
Sean turned and saw vampires running towards him.
He let go of his mother and ran.

He turned to stare at her house but she was still staring at him.
“Why do they have to come?!” He thought as he swiftly ran out of the forest.
He got into his car and zoomed off, back to school.

“Are you alright?” Robby asked.

“Yeah, I’m fine dad. Why did you come?”

“One of the vampires came to report to me that someone tried to attack you so we came to help”

“No, he didn’t try to attack me. He.. I don’t know. Nevermind, let’s go back” she said.

Robby nodded and led her to the dark mansion.
Kylie couldn’t get the image of what happened off her mind. She tried to think if she had seen his face somewhere but no, she hasn’t.

“Who is he? Why was I calm when he touched me?” She thought.
