CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE: RING OF BANKRUPTCY 2 ( LIFE FOR A LIFE )
Rose had no idea what awaits her, different thoughts flood in her head, I could wish to go back to Frankenstein but I have no idea what will happen, everything has consequences
Looking at the ring I swallow, it has been shining brighter as time goes by, and each time it glow I feel weak and broken, they is no way that it means something good, I might be dying
Trying to remove the ring I frown, it won’t bulge, it’s like it’s stuck to my finger ” what is this? How many wish can I make before it will be out?” Fear struck my heart when the thought of me dying ring in my head, I have absolutely no idea what to do if am to die right now
Is they a way to remove this ring? Should I wish for the ring to show me how to get rid of it ” that ring” I stare at the only elderly woman in the area, she look so old that everyone think she has lost her mind “you have my ring ” she look at me frowning and I step back
” What are you talking about, this is not yours ” I mumble, I do know that it’s not mine either but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s not hers, I mean she didn’t give it to me
” You can’t hold that ” she look around before dragging me to a dark corner ” who gave it to you, is it Alien, have been looking for it, hand it over ” she kept rushing her words that I have absolutely no idea what she is saying ” oh yes, you can’t take it off unless you die” those last sentence caught my ears
” Unless I die ?”
She ignored my words and purred on ” how many wish have you made ”
” Slow down ” I place my hands on her shoulder ” please tell me what’s going on, what do you mean by dying and if whoever wears the ring dies why do you want it so bad?”
She look at me, pity in her eyes ” am sure Alien wish to kill you, I made this ring to make me look young, it sucks people life span then come back to me, giving me their youthfulness”
” You mean this ring is sucking my life span right now? She nod ” how do I get it off, can I wish for it to come out ”
” No ” she shake her head ” the only way to make it full and weak is for you to kill someone, dip your hand that holds the ring into the dead person body and stay still for an hour”
” You mean I should kill?”
Once again she ignored my question then look at the ring ” it’s drinking too much, you made a wish for a long hour didn’t you ”
” How”
” If you wish to survive, do as I say ”
” I don’t know if I can kill ”
” You look like someone that should know what and how it feels to kill someone, I can read you little one
……it’s a life for a life game ”
” I have killed but I don’t want to do that anymore ”
” Then die, either way it works out for me ” she move close to a huge rock in the corner then sit ” go on, try your luck or do you wish to leave your loved ones?”
” No ”
” The decision is in your hands ” stepping out of that corner, I look round, everyone is sitting and relaxing, I move close to where the equipments are and pick up a little knife, why will a knife be here…..is not like they can use it to break stones

Hiding it behind my body, I look at the ladies,I will go for the older ones, am sure they have lived long enough, my hands tighten and I look at the old woman, her face is not visible because of the darkness in there but I can feel her gaze, she is definitely watching me
Moving towards the women, that little girl run to my direction” miss you need to hide now, the boss men sleep with the ones he haven’t seen before and he is coming close ”
I smile ” how do you know he is near ”
” I can see the future”I bend down then look at her ” I know you wish to kill someone to survive, a life for a life, that old lady told you ”
” You really do see things ”
She nod ” but I can’t tell you ” she shake her head ” my mum said I should keep things a secret or else we won’t be free ”
” You have a wise mother ”
” She sold me”
” Then she truly is foolish, a child intelligent as you, I will love to take care of you if I was her ”
” I knew you would say that ” she smile ” that’s why I wish to go with you, I will see Frankenstein ”
” You know him?”
” No, I just stare into your eyes and watch your past…….the future can change because of your decision and that’s why am messed up in my head, people keep cancelling their wish ”
” You should go and sit little…..”
” Jasmine, my name is jasmine and ……” She lean close and whisper ” you’re the only one that can see me ” her words made me look around and notice that people had been staring at me strangely
Like am an insane person
” What do you mean?”
” Am a ghost, I had no idea you saw me, I was so surprised after taking to you ”
” You have to be joking ”
.” I don’t joke ” jasmine smile ” and I wish to marry you”
” You’re a girl and a ghost” why do I keep attracting lesbians?
” I know ”
” You need a boy, a ghost boy to he precise ” I stop talking when I remember what she mean by me being the only one capable of seeing her ” you should go away ”
” No ” she frown ” am going to be with You, you’re the only one that can see me and I will do anything to make that ring fall……trust me, you won’t die?”
She means am not destined to die here, which also means I will kill someone

Rose get into the line when the so called invigilator came in, a tall young man, his hands around his penis region and then I knew what he is here for
He wish to rape one of these ladies, I look at jasmine and she shrug, am still left wondering what actually killed her and why she is a ghost that only I can see ” I see we got new beautiful women ” another man step in, he looks more elderly compare to the first ” who would have thought?”
They both Chuckle and I squeeze my hands, I definitely do not mind killing these men, am sure they have molested many of these girls, just from the girls facial expression you will know they are scared
Looking at jasmine I mumble ” can you kill ?”
She stare at me for few seconds before shaking her head ” do not attack them rose, you will die….you are still not strong enough to kill these men, I suggest you kill one of these weak ladies ”
” They did nothing wrong ”
” These men did nothing wrong either” I frown at jasmine words ” they bought these girl’s which mean they belong to the men around here, they have the right to do as he wish ”
” How old are you ” before jasmine could reply, the first man with red hair pull the girl right in front of me out, it feels like they are not seeing me, my eyes lower and I stare at jasmine who is touching me, her blue eyes completely white
Am confused as to why this ghost is helping me.
I watch the other man, grab the girl behind me and they both left, locking the door behind them, the other ladies exhale and sit on the rocks, those close to the girls they just selected started crying
Jasmine let go of my hands and look at me ” those girls won’t come back, they will be killed ”
” Really?” Looking around, I tighten my left hand around the knife
” They is no time rose ” jasmine rush her words ” kill that girl, she is sick, probably will die soon ” my gaze follow to a tall, skinny girl, she has dark short hair and blue eyes, she look so innocent, probably still has a long way to go
” I can’t ”
” It’s your only chance ” I look down at jasmine ” I promise you that you will love it ”
” I doubt it ” moving close to the girl, I got her attention before smiling ” I notice you’re always always alone so I wish to keep you company”
She gives me a suspicious look ” why?”
” I wish to be your friend” I smile ” can we talk over there?” I point at a dark corner close to her, since the sun is going to sleep, the place isn’t that bright anymore
” Alright ” she stand up slowly and I walk behind her to the corner, approaching there, I lift the knife slowly ” so what do you wish to….” She turn around before completing her sentence but as soon as she did, I slice her throat, a real deep slice that blood gush out and she fell
I thought I will be disgust by it but the moment I place the ring into her body, I bend down and felt good, I had no idea if it’s the ring doing but I love the feeling
I feel relieved, killing is not so bad….I can see why people kill, I could definitely get use to this
With time, my eyes start to feel dizzy and weak, I feel weak and strong at the same time….jasmine bend next to me and smile ” you’re perfect for our mission, don’t fight it….sleep ” she touch my forehead and I lost consciousness
Frankenstein on the other hand has been tossed away, due to dracula anger towards him, he placed Frankenstein in a wicked position to teach him a mean lesson and as well planning to destroy rose completely.
Frankenstein open his eyes slowly then look around, the first thing I note was her blue hair, probably dyed and black eyes, she look out of this world, what even puzzle me more was the fact that she is treating me
Was I hurt in any way?
I only remember dracula piercing a sharp object into my body, am still yet to find out what happened and why this is even happening ” where am I?” I asked and she look at me
” You’re awake ”
” Of course I am, I definitely do not need your silly treatment ” sitting up, I pull out all the drips she placed on me ” who brought me here “growling, I watch her step back in fear
” Am sorry, this not a hospital, I saw you laying down in the middle of the road and decided to help since am a nurse ” I look at her, am sure she is saying the truth ” am glad you’re awake ”
” Why will I be in the middle of the road” is dracula trying to kill me? I try to think back, I remember fully that Luciano held me in his hands before I lost consciousness
So how did I end up in the road
What actually happened
” Where am I?” Getting up she look at me
” You’re in Africa” that’s when I notice her skin colour, she is dark skin
” Am in Africa? From New York?” Looking at her, I step closer ” how many days have I been sleeping?”
” Four days”
” Four fucking days!!” Growling my mind went back to rose, she must have been out of that stupid wish already, why the hell am I here…..is this dracula way of killing rose, when am not around?”
” I need to leave ” mumbling I get up and look at her ” thanks for the treatment, I have no idea Africa has such facilities”
This however made her frown ” we are a developing continent ”
I nod ” indeed” looking out the window, I stare at the beautiful streets ” so where in Africa am I?”
” Nigeria”
” Nigeria? I can see why it’s a little developed then, do you have a phone?” She nod and I collect it gently ” I did to order a taxi”
” You mean Uber ”
” Yes, that ” rolling my eyes, I did everything I need to do before giving the phone back to her, grab my jacket from the bed and left the room, it didn’t take long for me to arrive in the airport and then I realized I do not have a passport with me
That didn’t stop me either, since I have the power of brain washing people, I got into the plane safely and back to New York, hopefully I will be there in time to save rose
This however did not delay as I thought, all in my mind was to save rose, that’s all I was thinking…missing the most important and critical part of this really easy journey, it almost feels like someone want me here
” Got you ” I heard that voice and then the place blow up right after I vanish.
