CHAPTER 41&42

She hasn’t said a thing when he began kissing her lips hungrily, taking his right hand away from her face to hold her waist firmly.

Diva began responding immediately, kissing him as hungrily as he’s doing.

Her hands found their ways to his shirt, and she knotted her palms on it, tugging gently at it and pulling him closer with it at the same time.

Their tongues met shortly, and the intoxicating taste of soju filled the kiss as they ate deeper into each other.

They were both breathless when Jazzy pulled away from the kiss, facing her again.

He returned his two hands to her face, and her eyes became drowsy.

“Will you date me?” He whispered again.

Diva smiled sheepishly, and her lips parted, but instead of talking, she smiled widely and yawned.

“You feeling sleepy already?” He asked.

“Yes” she muttered sleepily, and he made to reconnect their lips maybe the kiss would wake her, but her eyes went shut that moment.

She fell asleep surprisingly, and he quickly caught her , trapping her face in his chest.

He eventually lifted her off the ground and placed her in bed, covering her body completely with the duvet.

He smiled and kissed his necklace on her neck, then her hair.

“Sweet dreams” he whispered, stroking her hair shortly before leaving the room.

PRIVATE HAVEN**

Lyric entered the usual room happily, but surprisingly, Daniel isn’t on seat.

She stopped by the door immediately, looking like she got betrayed.

“Where’s he?” She muttered, getting her phone from her small bag

She was about to dial his line when hands suddenly covered her eyes from behind.

Merely perceiving the chocolate scent, she smiled prettily.

“Daniel” she said, and he dropped his hands from her face.

She made to turn to him, but he quickly held her shoulders, stopping her from turning around.

“What?” She chuckled.

“Guess the color of the shirt I’m putting on” He said.

“Why?” She giggled.

“Just take a guess, it’s not that hard…is it?” He replied, and she sighed, calming down.

“So I can see your face after taking the guess”

“Sure, cutie” he replied, and she began blushing as she thought of an answer.

“Mmmm…. Blue?” She said, and he immediately slipped his arms on her tummy, hugging her from behind.

“Did I get it right?” She asked, and he replied with a kiss on her neck which made her fold literally into him.

“Mm.. Daniel” she whispered, and he finally released her to face him.

He’s wearing black which white inscribes.

“I was wrong, shame” she pouted, and he laughed as he pulled her into a real hug this time.

“It’s a game, and you only lost the prize” he replied, and she looked up at his face.

“What’s the prize?”

“I was gonna ask you to be my girlfriend if you got it” he said, and her eyes widened as she broke the hug completely.

“What!”

“Yeah, but now that you bombed it, let’s forget about it and just have fun tonight” he said, and her face fell immediately.

She swallowed nothing down her throat and stepped back from him.

“What?” He asked, and his eyes widened when tears fell from her eyes.

“Hey… Lyric!” He went closer to hold her arms gently.

“Let’s play the game again. You should go change into another shirt, I promise to get the color right” she hiccupped in tears.

“You’re scaring me right now” Daniel replied and began wiping her tears with his fingers, but she took his hands away from her face.

“I told you to go wear another shirt, I’ll guess it right…

“I love you” he said suddenly, and she stopped talking to look him in the eye.

“H.. huh?..

“I love you” he repeated, and she began blinking like a Barbie.

“You do?”

“Saying I was planning to ask you out if you got it right was a joke, I originally invited you here tonight to ask you out, why are you being emotional?” He said and resumed wiping the tears on her face, smiling as he did.

“I thought there was no hope for me anymore. Honestly I fell for you when I attended your first concert this year, and since then I’ve been looking out for opportunities to meet you. You’re the only celebrity crush I’ve got, and you don’t know how hard it was to keep denying my crush on you in front of my band members. I almost went crazy the night you messaged me for the first time, and I was … Like…I was like…

She began hiccuping again, and Daniel smiled, bringing his face closer.

“Like what?” He whispered, and she looked up, so their eyes are deeply into each other.

“I love you” she replied, and he gave her the brightest smile ever .

He dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out a gorgeous bracelet.

Her eyes widened when he took her right hand and fixed it on her wrist, and surprisingly, it fits perfectly.

“It’s beautiful” she muttered, admiring it on her wrist.

Daniel suddenly sat on the chair and brought her to his laps.

She gasped when her butt landed on his laps, and he smiled.

“Straddle me” he whispered, and she did slowly, placing her arms on his shoulders.

“When did you start falling for me?” She asked curiously in a whisper

“I’ll tell you after the kiss” he replied.

“The kiss?” She mumbled, and Daniel raised his hand to her chin immediately.

He held it delicately before reeling himself in, and Lyric’s eyes closed slowly as he pressed his extra pink lips gently on hers.

SAME NIGHT, VIXXEN DORM**

“You’re still going out tonight?” Myles asked when Vee suddenly came out of his room, all dressed.

“Yeah, to the mansion” he replied, and Krystal stood from the front of the TV which she’s watching the show recap from.

“I’ll accompany you” she said, and he smiled lightly.

“No need, I’m still coming back tonight. I’m not sleeping over” he said and left.

“He became moody again, what happened?” Myles said.

“Isn’t it obvious? The way Jazzy saved Diva from falling earlier on stage, he’s probably wishing he was the one” Krystal replied.

HWANG MANSION**

Sara was in the living room when Vee came in, but she’s not alone.

She’s with Mr Hwang, serving him some wine in a glass cup.

He ignored them like he didn’t see them and began climbing the stairs.

“You’re now blind?” Mr Hwang said after taking the cup of wine.

“I choose not to see you” Vee replied and resumed climbing.

“Stop!” Mr Hwang shouted, but he remained stubborn.

Mr Hwang stood immediately, rushing to catch up with him on the stairs.

He pulled Vee’s arm and tried to drag him down from the stairs, but Vee resisted.

“Let me go, dad”

“So you still see me as your dad? Huh? Bastard! Then why did you pretend like you didn’t see me before!”

“Even if I had greeted you, you’d only curse me and call me a bastard as usual, can’t you just leave me alone? I only came to get something and I’d be done in two minutes” Vee replied bluntly, and Mr. Hwang made to slap him, but Sara climbed up and got between them.

“Sir! Just slap me instead, please don’t touch him” she begged, and he really did it.

He slapped the old woman, and the force made her stagger.

She fell and began rolling down the stairs.

“Sara! Sara!!” Vee shouted, running down the stairs to her.

She sustained injuries on her forehead and arms already, and they’re all bleeding, she’s unconscious.

“How could you!!!!” Vee cried out, facing Mr Hwang who’s just coming down.

“Soon enough I’d tell the whole Korea that you’re not mine! Should I remind you of your history? Your mum threw you away after giving birth to you! You were found in a trashcan bloody bastard!!!” Mr Hwang yelled.

“Stop!!! Stop it!!!” Vee cried loudly, holding his head as he began crying.

“My wife breastfed you for five months and died of breast cancer cos of the infection she got from you!!! She died!!! Should I continue?” Mr Hwang yelled, flinging away his glasses from his red eyes.

“Stop it… please…stop” Vee went on his knees, still holding his head as he cried sorrowfully.

“You’re nothing but a cursed, jinxed child from birth, and now that I think about it, I don’t blame your mother for abandoning you in that trashcan, you’re full of bad luck anyways, unfortunate boy!” Mr Hwang shot and finally stormed in.

“No… Please…stop it…” Vee continued crying, and as he watched his blood drop on the ground from his nose, he cried more.

“Jun…Jun-ho….” Sara muttered from the ground, and his eyes went to her.

“Sara…” He crawled to her and helped her up.

He carried her in his arms easily and took her out of the house.

He placed her in his car and drove to the family hospital.

She was quickly attended to. Her head and arms were bandaged, and she was admitted.

She has to stay in the hospital for three days to heal before she’d be discharged.

“Thanks, Jun-ho” Sara said, smiling weakly in bed.

The blood in his nose has been taken care of too.

“I’m the one to blame, you took the slap in my place, why did you do it?” He asked, and she took his right hand.

“You have so many scars on your body already, I didn’t want you get hurt again” she replied, and he smiled dryly.

“Don’t do it again, I’m used to the pains”

“Did you come to the mansion to get this?” She asked, bringing out a box of cigar from the pocket of her gown.

His eyes widened immediately…

“How did…

“I found it on your bed. And don’t ask me how, I’ve always known you do smoke” she said, and he slowly took the box from her.

“If it clears your head, you should have a stick, just one” she said, and he stood.

“Make sure you use camera-blind area, an idol can’t be seen smoking” she said, and he nodded before entering the restroom.

He locked the door on himself and got lighter from his pocket.

He lightened a stick and began smoking hard, remembering everything Mr Hwang said earlier.

It hurts, it’s painful… he’s in paints both psychologically and emotionally.

For the uncountable times since he grew up, he cursed his mother again.

Wherever she is, she’d be joyless and restless for abandoning him.

NEXT MORNING, TRUE LOVE DORM**

Diva squeezed her face immediately she woke, and her eyes opened slowly.

Piper and Lyric are nowhere to be found in bed, and as usual, she’s the last person to wake up.

She sat up as a light yawn made her mouth open, and she stretched like a starfish.

The first thing she noticed was the necklace on her neck, and that immediately brought back the memories of last night.

The kiss, Jazzy asking her out, and her smile..

She remembered saying yes last night, but was it the proposal she said yes to? Or another thing?

Her eyes suddenly widened when she remembered Vee’s necklace.

She jumped down from the bed and luckily found it quickly.

It’s lying on the ground in the middle of the room.

She rushed to fetch it and sat in bed, smiling when she saw it’s still intact.

She touched Jazzy’s necklace on her neck and bit her lip slightly, then she fixed Vee’s necklace on her wrist, wrapping it in three folds like a bracelet.

She kissed it on her wrist before leaving the room, meeting the others in the brushing room.

“Diva!” Their eyes brightened when she came in.

“You seemed tired in your sleep, so i didn’t wake you” Lyric said.

“Thanks for letting me sleep longer than usual” she replied.

“And a big news is here” Freddy said.

“What’s it!” She quickly asked.

“We’re gonna start the shooting of Volume Up music video by weekend! Freddy got nominated as Dior ambassador while Celine wants Piper too! Then we have an interview with Dive studios today, it’s gonna be live in all TV stations, we’re going places” Jazzy announced.

“Oh….my… goodness!!!!” Diva screamed, hugging them all at once while jumping.

“It’s not a prank, right? It’s not a prank!!!’ she screamed as she jumped again.

“Of course” Jazzy replied, and she hugged just him this time.

“Aww!!!” The rest teased.

“Wait! The necklace on your neck changed!” Lyric quickly said.

“Oh… this?” Diva broke the hug to touch the necklace.

“Jazzy owns this” Freddy detected immediately.

“Yeah … Jazzy is …

Jazzy held her hand immediately, interlocking it with his own before bringing it to his lips to kiss

“We started dating last night” he said, and their eyes widened at once.

“It’s a lie! How did it happen!” Freddy gasped.

“It just happened” Jazzy replied.

“OMG!!!” Lyric and Piper shouted, rushing out of the room crazily.

“Ok this needs to reach TROVES” Freddy said, rushing out too.

“The yes I said last night…was it to your proposal? I… really don’t remember that part” Diva asked Jazzy immediately, and he smiled.

“Yeah” he said, searching through her eyes

“Any problem? Girlfriend” he asked.

“No, goodmorning boyfriend” she replied, hugging him.

He immediately hugged her back.

“I’ll be the one to make breakfast this morning, what should I fix?” He asked, rubbing her hair.

She was about to reply when her phone rang, and she quickly broke it to pick, it’s Vee.

“Hey Jun-ho!” She smiled.

“Hey, Je-na” he replied, and the smile disappeared from her face immediately she heard his weak voice.

“You’re not fine, Vee”

“Sara got admitted” he replied, and her eyes and.

“What!”

“She fell from the stairs, and we’re currently at the family hospital” he said.

“I’ll be there” she replied, and before Jazzy could get a hold of her, she rushed out of the room.

PETALS HOTEL, 9AM**

Rhapsody has been pacing around her room since daybreak, she has been restless trying to figure out a way to tackle the situation on ground.

TRUE LOVE isn’t joking, and she’s already feeling the heat. She needs to do something, else she’d be greatly affected.

“Your ride is ready miss!” A guard said from the door.

“I’ll be out in an hour!” She replied.

She’d be leaving this hotel for her new house today.

She suddenly got her phone when she got a brainstorm. She dialled her manager’s line.

“Hello Miss Bibi!”

“Hey my girl, how’re you…

“Start preparing for a new single from me next week” she cut her off.

“Why? You only just released one…

“I don’t care! I’m releasing another single same day TRUE LOVE will release Volume Up music video so prepare!” She yelled.

HWANG FAMILY HOSPITAL**

Thanks to face mask, Diva was able to go in without getting recognized by the band new fans.

She knows the hospital well since it’s not her first time here, so she went straight to the VIP ward where she’s sure Sara would be.

Truly, she met her in bed, and Vee is sitting beside her.

“Bae” he stood as she came in breathlessly.

“Sara” she muttered.

“She’s asleep” he replied, holding her back when she tried to go closer to the bed.

“How did it happen?” She asked.

“You’re here now, relax and I’d explain later” he replied and hugged her, but he broke it immediately to look at her necklace.

“This is…new” he said nervously.

“Oh…I was planning to tell you later today. Jazzy…. Jazzy is my boyfriend now” she said, and he could hear his heart shredding.

“Huh?” He muttered shockingly. His blood almost evaporated, and his palms and face became sweaty.

“Yes, and your necklace is safe, here” she smiled, raising her hand to show him the necklace wrapped on her wrist.

“I promised to always wear it so trust your bestie” she said, and he swallowed nothing.

He began bringing his hand to the necklace on her neck, and Diva blinked.

A little before he could touch the necklace, Jazzy bursted into the ward, and Diva’s eyes widened.

Did he actually follow her here from the dorm?

He came to her and covered her from Vee.

“Don’t call my girlfriend out ever again, it’s a warning” he muttered.
