Chapter 103 :- A day to remember.

🌹 Writer’s POV🌹

With the bounty spreading around in secret like wild fire all over the globe, the annihilation of the Anti magic users was swift and successfully carried out. One by one, the anti magic users fell to the unsuspecting and brutal attacks of Evlyn killer squad. Others who had learnt of this bounty tried to hide but they were found and killed. Every last one of them except Junior was wiped off the face of the earth in just a few days.
After successfully carrying out their mission, Xeira, Iyunloye, Oba and others converged in a rendezvous point where they would meet with Evlyn once their task was over. As they all waited for Evlyn, some of the bounty hunters began to greedily talk about what they were going to do with their bounty. Xeira who was annoyed by this tried to silence them but Iyunloye stops her.

Iyunloye ➡ Don’t even think about it.
.

Xeira ➡ I can’t stand these fools. They talk too much.
.

Iyunloye ➡ Evlyn will be here soon and this is not time for you to cause trouble.
.

Xeira ➡ Whatever, I’m sure Evlyn wouldn’t mind me killing these cockroaches.
.

In that moment, Xeira notices that one of the bounty hunters (a female) staring at her lustfully. She too glares at the bounty hunter and realizes how immensely attractive she was. Curious to know the lovely set of eyes fancying her from the distance, Xeira seeks the advice of Iyunloye.

Xeira ➡ Do you mind telling me, who’s that beauty?
.

Iyunloye ➡ The one eating you up with her eyes?
.

Xeira ➡ Most definitely. Who’s she?
.

Iyunloye ➡ Hmm, interesting.
.

Xeira ➡ Tell me, who is she?
.

Iyunloye ➡ I can’t penetrate her mind.

Xeira ➡ How is that possible?

Oba ➡ That’s because she’s a demon or should I say a succubus.

Xeira ➡ What? It can’t be.

Iyunloye ➡ I’ve heard stories but I never knew they actually exist.

Oba ➡ That’s because they were all imprisoned on a island hidden in the far edge of the world. Succubus’s are bad news. Their beauty is a curse.

Xeira ➡ Don’t exaggerate. We mermaids are the most beautiful.
.

Oba ➡ No. Your looks make men lose their senses as for the succubus their looks kill. Just one look can make a human die instantly.
.

Iyunloye ➡ If they were all imprisoned on an Island then what’s this one doing here?
.

Oba ➡ How should I know?
.

Xeira ➡ Hmm, looks like she’s into me. It’s been a while since I had some fun. Let me go check her out.
.

Suddenly as Xeira was about to approach the succubus, the atmosphere instantly becomes dense with bloodlust and misery. Everyone freezes with fright as they felt the immense sinister aura around them and before long, Evlyn emerges out of the darkness together with an abominable creature holding blood soaked sickles in both hands.
After sensing Evlyn’s presence, everyone kneels before her instantly still trembling with fright. Evlyn who was yet to speak stared at everyone with her bloodshot eyes intensely for some minutes before she finally opens her mouth.

Evlyn ➡ Are the anti magic casters gone?
.

Iyunloye ➡ Yes, every last one of them.
.

Evlyn ➡ Are you sure?
.

Xeira ➡ Precisely. We slaughtered them all.
.

Evlyn ➡ Good.
.

Xeira ➡ So what now?
.

Evlyn ➡ Now we wait and watch as things unfold.
.

Oba ➡ Meaning?
.

Evlyn ➡ My plan is already taking place as we speak. When the sun rises, chaos will follow.
.

Xeira ➡ What are we to do in the mean time?
.

Evlyn ➡ You and Oba should do what you do best but don’t get caught. Distract the supreme witch and her council as long as you can. Before they realize the bigger picture, it would be too late for them.
.

Xeira ➡ If you don’t mind. I would like to get my hands on Christen.
.

Immediately after Xeira’s statement, Evlyn stares at her viciously making the mermaid to tremble with fear. Evlyn’s third eye had appeared in that moment making her look even more devastatingly horrifying.

Evlyn ➡ Let me make myself clear! Nobody should touch Christen and her daughter. Those two are going to be very useful when the time comes. Anyone besides these two you can kill or do as you wish. Am I clear?

All ➡ Yes your eminence.
.

Evlyn ➡ Until we meet again (disappears)

Oba ➡ Looks like we should spring into action.

🐞 MORENIKE 🐞

Saturday mornings for me has always been nothing but bliss, not only do I get to sleep for as long as I want, I also have to worry less about house work. However this particular Saturday morning was different from the rest cause unlike the others, I had a very terrifying nightmare.
The time was 6:30am when I abruptly woke up from my nightmare, the sun was yet to shine and everywhere was quiet except for the purring that came from Ebinoluwa’s black cat Rosey.
Shortly after I had awoken, I began to sweat and gasp for breath. My heart was beating very fast and I could barely move. It took me a while before I managed to sit up and recall the nightmare I had.

Of all the nightmares I’ve had over the years, the one is the most scariest one yet. In this nightmare, the whole world was facing some kind of doom, there was dark skies and the endless rumbling of thunder and red lightning flashes. There was also strong wind that swept off anything in it’s path and lastly there was chaos and death.
It was like the end of the world, the grounds were cracking open unleashing flames and demonic beings. Everywhere was on fire and all the people I knew were dead but there was something in the nightmare that caught my attention and that was the moon. It was completely red like crimson color.
What followed next was just beyond words and comprehension. Right before my very eyes, the red moon vaporized and immediately it was destroyed, the people that laid dead suddenly rose to their feet and before I knew it, they ganged up upon me tearing off my flesh. I struggled with all my might but I was no match for the thousands of undead on top of me. Whilst I was in the middle of being brutalized, someone appeared at the scene making the undead to back off from me. I couldn’t see the person’s identify but as she/he got close, I was alarmed to see who it was.
I’ve never seen Evlyn before but based on Ebinoluwa’s description, I knew her right away. She was even more terrifying than Ebinoluwa described her to be, if looks could kill, hers would definitely have. After appearing before me, Evlyn grabbed my face and lifted me off the ground effortlessly and then spoke to me.

Evlyn ➡ This is nothing compared to what’s going to happen! Tell them there is no hope. The End is coming and doom is inevitable. (Laughs)
.

It was after that statement that I awoken. I couldn’t tell it was a nightmare or just a premonition. It felt so realistic. Presently as I sat on my bed, I decided to pray with the hopes that I might forget about this nightmare but as I began to pray, Evlyn’s image appeared in my mind. In that moment, I got out of the bed and began to walk around the room with hands on my head looking scared as hell. Just when I thought I was losing my mind, Ebinoluwa’s voice startled me to the point that I screamed in fright.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Morenike, Ki lo she le?
.

Morenike ➡ (screams) JESUS CHRIST!!!
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Ah, calm down. Is something wrong?
.

Morenike ➡ I..I..I had a bad dream.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (laughs) Calm down jare. It’s not the end of the world. Just relax and pray.
.

I wanted to tell Ebinoluwa about my nightmare, I really wanted to but something happened afterwards that took my mind off it. In that moment, Ebinoluwa and I heard loud cheerful laughter and footsteps outside our room. Out of curiosity, we went to check what was happening and as soon as we saw the cause behind the noise, we were left shocked and speechless.
Here before our very eyes, downstairs in the living room sat our parents on the couch touching and kissing each other passionately. They’re were so into themselves that they didn’t notice our presence at all, they were just busy doing all sorts of naughty things to each other. What surprised Ebinoluwa and I was our mother’s presence. She wasn’t supposed to be out of her bedroom until she was back to normal but it seems she managed to get her husband to let her out.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (quietly) I can’t believe this. What’s dad thinking?.
.

Morenike ➡ (quietly) I know. What are we going to do?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ (quietly) I don’t know. Let’s just find out and see what’s going on. Mom cannot be allowed to leave this house.
.

Morenike ➡ Oya, carry go.
.

Ebinoluwa wasted no time in making her presence known. She stood in front of our parents with her hands folded across her breasts with a blank look on her face. Honestly, I thought she was going to scold at them for being childish and all but then she spoke to them as calmly as possible. After all, they’re her parents.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Good morning Mom, dad. What’s going on here?
.

Riley ➡ Ebinoluwa. Good morning. I know this is unexpected but your mom’s okay.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ She’s not okay. Not yet anyway.
.

Christen ➡ Better watch your mouth Ebinoluwa. Let me remind you that you’re not in charge of me.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ That’s true but I’m your daughter and it is my duty to make sure you’re safe.

Riley ➡ Christen!

Ebinoluwa ➡ Mom, I’m sorry. I messed up but you gave me no choice. You were out of control.

Christen ➡… Whatever, all is forgiven but I don’t need you to dictate what I need in my life right now. Your father and I have plans and I won’t let anyone ruin it.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Okay suit yourself. I too also have plans for later. Today’s is Rotimi’s birthday.

Riley ➡ I don’t like this. Where is the party holding?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ The 666 lounge probably.

Riley ➡ You’re not going.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Seriously dad. It’s just a party.

Riley ➡ No. Anything can happen.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Dad, I’m not a kid and I’m not stupid. It’s just a party.

Christen ➡ Relax honey, it’s just a party.

Riley ➡ Alright but don’t stay out late.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Sure, I will. Enjoying your outing.

After that, Ebinoluwa and I went back into the room and began to gist about Rotimi’s birthday which I know won’t end in a normal way. Ever since Ebinoluwa lost her virginity, she has been a little bit itchy to get screwed anytime she gets the opportunity and I’ve also noticed that she has been taking extra care of herself to look attractive and both both in body and dressing. Despite all of this, I’m glad she knows the risk and has already taken measures to avoid any accidents by using magic sealing her womb.

Ebinoluwa twerk her hips in that moment to indicate what she was talking about, I couldn’t help but laugh at her. However, she wasn’t far from the truth.

Morenike ➡ Actually, we don’t usually use CDs all the time.

Ebinoluwa ➡ You can’t be serious. What if you get pregnant?

Morenike ➡ I take pills.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ No.. It’s not enough. Those things don’t have full guarantee but I can help you out.

Morenike ➡ With what?

Ebinoluwa ➡ This.

Suddenly, Ebinoluwa placed her right hand on my stomach and then closed her eyes. In that moment, I felt my stomach getting itchy in a weird way. Before long, Ebinoluwa moved away from me and it didn’t take me long to realize what she did.

Ebinoluwa ➡ It’s done.
.

Morenike ➡ You sealed my womb.
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ Yes, so anytime Chris feels like pumping it in, just let him. Nothing will happen.

Morenike ➡ Are you sure?
.

Ebinoluwa ➡ What I did now makes you no different from other barren women. At this rate, you can never get pregnant unless I say so.

God, what a day.

Feeling the scorching heat on my bare back whilst fixing my bike was unbearable. Not only was I covered in sweat but I was also tired and hungry. Although this was what i wanted, living the quiet and normal can be a little bit boring at times . It’s been a while since I last got into any action and without nothing to do, I just feel like an empty husk.
Applying for a job didn’t help things either, business has been slow and nobody was interested in hiring or looking for workers but I did manage to get one security job. The pay isn’t much and the job is no fun either cause it’s based on shifts so I have nobody to chat with. There are moments where I have regrets wishing that my life was better then this but then I realized there was some good behind all that and that was Morenike.

She’s the bright light in this boring life of mine and I’m glad to have her. I feel good whenever I’m around her and she’s never gets boring no matter how many times I see her. She’s the only reason that I can cope with this side of life. It’s a shame that I can’t get her to come over to my place and keep me company. Her foster family has been under a lot of pressure lately so it’s best if I give her some space.
Presently, after I was done fixing my bike, I decided to take a rest before I went into the house to take my bath. In that moment as I was busy resting under the shades, I caught a glimpse of Morenike from the distance heading towards me. Words could never describe how excited I was in that moment but I remained calm until she finally came to my place.

Morenike ➡ My, my.. What do we have here?

Chris ➡ Like what you see?
.

Morenike ➡ You mean the abs? (chuckles) I’ve seen better.

Chris ➡ Ouch.
.

Morenike ➡ Just kidding babe. You know I love your abs but you’re a mess.
.

Chris ➡ Tell me about it. I fixed my bike and now I’m tired and hungry.
.

Morenike ➡ Well, looks like you’re in luck. I’ll check your kitchen and see what I can whip up. You need to bath first before you eat.
.

Chris ➡ I will. How’s things at home?
.

Morenike ➡ Everything’s fine.
.

Chris ➡ But the danger is still out there..
.

Morenike ➡ For now, all is well.
.

Chris ➡ I hope it stays that way.
.

Morenike ➡ Me too.
.

Chris ➡ Alright, get to the kitchen, your boyfriend is hungry.
.

Morenike ➡ See your mouth. I’m not your wife.
.

Chris ➡ Not yet but you will be if you’ll have me.
.

Morenike ➡ (chuckles) Then you’ll have to be ready. My bride price won’t be cheap.
.

After that, Morenike entered my house to do her thing and before long, I followed her in and went straight to take my bath. Cooling off this afternoon with cold water felt amazingly good, all the itches on my body were gone and so’s the heat. The best part about this bath was the instant boner I had thinking about Morenike. I know it’s improper but I can’t help but feel turned on by the dress she wore. Morenike was startled but she chuckled as soon as she realized it was me.

Chris ➡ As long as you’re under my roof, you don’t have worry about anything (inhales) you smell nice.

Morenike ➡ I know. Your food is rea….Chris?

Chris ➡ Yes sugar.
.

Morenike ➡ You’re naked, aren’t you?
.

Chris ➡ What? No I.
.

In that moment, I checked myself and realized that Morenike was right. I was naked and it was then I realized that I forgot to take my towel with me whilst I was heading down to the kitchen.

Morenike ➡ Chris?
.

Chris ➡ You’re right. I was lost in the aroma of your cooking that I forgot to cover myself.
.

Morenike ➡ Well, it’s not too late to do that.
.

Chris ➡ On a second thought, I want a taste for something different, something more plumb and delicious.
.

Morenike ➡ (laughs) Oh no.. Seriously?
.

Chris ➡ Absolutely.
.

Morenike ➡ What about your meal?
.

Chris ➡ That’s desert. For now, you’re the main course.
