In that moment, I grabbed one of my long abayah robes and left the house to see what was going on, Riley Jr was already outside when I came out. As we looked up in the sky, there was thousands if not millions of bright red light heading towards us. Chris too soon joined us outside to watch the falling lights, we were so mesmerized by what we saw that we didn’t realize that there was something evil about it.
Suddenly in the blink of an eye, hundreds of thick tree roots appeared around the house trapping us like a dome and immediately I saw this, I knew what was going on. This was the house defense mechanism placed my foster mom incase of any threats. As soon as we were covered, the bright red lights descended upon the tree roots exploding like crazy, the force of the explosion was like a grenade which tore the tree roots apart. Luckily for us, the tree roots instantly replaced themselves the moment one of them was destroyed. Chris, junior and I watched with shock as the bright red light which turned out to be fire fell continuously for minutes.

Chris ➡ What in Jesus names is going on?

Morenike ➡ I don’t know but this isn’t good. Let’s get back in the house.

Rotimi’s a fun date but his plans for tonight had a little ups and downs. The first place we went to after we left the house was an comedy house in Ibadan. Despite spending all my years in Ibadan, I really don’t know the place much and that’s because I don’t go out much often. Despite how noisy and crowded the place was, I sure had a great time cracking my ribs with Rotimi, I couldn’t remember the last time I laughed this much. The comedian was really good with his jokes and as it turns out, he and Rotimi knew each other well. After the show, Rotimi and I went to meet the guy backstage where we saw him talking with some ladies.

The country would have been a better place if these rich pigs had the heart to give to those in desperate need of it. After all, no help goes unrewarded.

After appearing behind the club seconds later, Ebinoluwa began to hum and adjust her hair and she was so calm as if nothing had happened, I was surprised she was relaxed.

After fending off against the flames for nearly half an hour, the flames in the sky stopped descending and everything was over.

Ebinoluwa ➡ I have no idea. Let’s go see if anyone is hurt.
