“I didn’t…um…expect to see you here, Victoria.” Julius stuttered, looking at everywhere but her eyes.
He was avoiding her gaze she could detect.
Victoria smiled looking around as well. “It was meant to be a surprise. Hope i got you?”
He laughs nervously, running his palms through his jean as if trying to wipe off the sweat on it. “You really did.” He gulped hærd. “But why are you here? Shouldn’t you be with that monster guy or something?”
She chuckles. “I know right!”
Are you guys also wondering why Victoria is here? Well, this is why.
After Esther, her close friend told her about Julius and this ‘girl’ he might have cheated or cheating on her with, she decided to pay him a surprise visit.
Honestly, she doesn’t know what she feels right now or what she was suppose to feel.
Should she be sad? Like seriously, every girl will be sad to know that ‘her fiancé’ have been cheating on her while she have been busy fighting to survive in the hands of that monster.
Or,
Should she be happy? She never loved Julius in the first place. Maybe because he had the features of the ‘perfect guy’ she ever wanted that’s why she thought he was her Mr right.
And besides she wasn’t a saint here either, she cheated on him also. They were both even here.
They actually both deceived themselves.
They actually never loved or wanted each other.
They just wanted perfection. Maybe she was the only one who wanted perfection.
Honestly…she was glad. Glad for the fact that she has an excuse to leave this relationsh¡p.
Glad that she has an opportunity to make things right without feeling any guilt of hurting anyone _Julius_
Julius deserves to be happy.
He deserve someone better.
Someone who would love him and his imperfections.
Someone who won’t cheat on him with her kidnapper.
Someone better….
She wasn’t the better choice for him. She was just… just someone else better half…maybe. But she hope.
Besides everyone deserves a happy ever after…right? Will she ever get hers?
Will rom-no ever come back for her?
Or better still, will she ever be able to find someone who will help her forget about ‘him?’
“Listen I know _” Julius began but she was quick to cut him off.
“I know.”
She raised a questioning brow at her. “You what?”
She smiled and walked closer to him. “Is she better?”
“Shit! How… I’m really sorry, Victoria. I’m _”
“You_”
It was his turn to cut her off now. “No, please let me talk.” She slowly nodded her head for him to talk. “I was wrong…. i should have talk things out with you first before going along with my heart.” He paused. “I’ve always loved you, Victoria but… not as someone i will like to spend the rest of my life with but rather as someone i will like to share my problems, my happiness with…more like my friend.” He let out a deep sigh. “Listen, you are a really nice person. You are beautiful, smart, gorgeous, funny, workaholic…” They both laughed at that last word. “You are everything that makes a lady perfect but…” He was staring at her now. “we weren’t really meant to be. I can’t say you being kidnapped helped me realize my feelings for you but I think it did. You don’t deserve this, actually. You don’t deserve the pain or heartbreak and any guy who does any of those things to you should be considered as someone stupid…” He smiled. “I guess I’m stupid.”
“Now… you’ve succeeded in making me feel very bad.” She chuckles nervously, letting out a sigh. “I should be the one apologizing instead. I… i wasn’t completely honest with you.”
“What do you mean?”
She shrugged. “I love someone else.”
He opened his mouth to talk but shut it up again. The only word that left his l-ips was. “Oh.”
“Yeah. I know it’s stupid of me but I guess I’ve been stupid right from the very moment I told those guys I will like to see their boss in person even when I know fully well he was dangerous and bad news.” She paused. “But honestly, I don’t regret. If I’m given another option whether or not to go to him…I would have still chosen the same thing,” She sighed. “I don’t know if you are the stupid one or I am the stupid one.” She smiled. “You deserve someone better, Julius and I’m glad you’ve find that better someone.”
“Wait, you fell in love with him? That monster?” Julius asked in disbelief.
“I guess I’m the stupid one.” She laughed. “Here,” She handed the ring over to him. “I don’t have to keep wearing this.”
Julius collected the ring from her. “Are you happy with him?” He asked, watching her closely.
“Why do you care?”
“You are my friend, Victoria. Friends are allowed to care for each other.”
She smiled. “Well, I don’t think I have to answer that… I’m not even with him and neither does he even knows about my feelings.” She sighed. “I should get going now.” She patted him on his shoulder. “I wish you all the best, Julius. Really.”
“Me too.”
“It’s goodbye then.” She turned around and started walking away from him with a smile plastered on her face.
She had just done the right thing… it was better this way… It felt like a huge rock have been rolled off from her chest.
She might not be with rom-no now but she hope and wish she could meet him again. At least even if it’s for the last time.

“You need to get out of that bed, Vicky. You’ve been acting really strange. Are you sure you are okay?” Esther asked, concern laced in her voice.
Victoria gro-n, pulling the covers to her face. “I’m_”
“Don’t even think of saying you are fine because you are definitely not fine!”
“Well, I wasn’t going to say I’m fine. I was going to say, I’M DYING!” she pulled the covers from her face and sat upright on the bed. “I can’t take this no more… i need to go to the hospital.”
“Thank God you are the one suggesting that now. Like seriously, it’s been a month I’ve been talking you into going to the hospital.” Esther rolled her eyes, helping Victoria up.
“Just shut up and help me out of this pajamas.”
“Say one more word and i will leave you here.”
“You won’t do that.” Victoria fake gasp.
“I will.”
“Come on, you love me way more than you love your brother.”
“uhn… i don’t have a brother.”
“Exactly.”
“We really need to take you to this hospital now.”

“Pregnant?”
It was funny.
Everything was.
How could she be pregnant? She only had s€× once. Just once. Most ladies have s€× countless of times and it wouldn’t result to pregnancy so how come was her story different?
No. This can’t be. She can’t be pregnant for him. No.
It’s been a wh0le month since she last see him or heard from him. In fact it felt like he never existed. He just disappeared form her life and no matter how hærd she tries to forget him… she couldn’t. And now this?
She has a part of him going in,side of her. How was she ever going to forget about him and move on?
“Yes dear. You are two months pregnant.” The doctor said with a smile plastered on her face.
“Should I be happy?” Victoria find herself asking no one in particular. She slowly stood up to her feet, grabbed her bag from the chair. “Thank you doc.” She forced a smile to her face then left the office.
What exactly should she feel now? She was pregnant for the monster she loves so much. She should be happy, right?
Victoria rubbed her stomach, gently with a gentle smile on her face. No. It was a forced smile this time around.
Maybe she was happy.
Maybe this child will help her forget him or possibly help her see him again.
She hailed a cab and got in. She told the cab man her address and he drove off.
Maybe this baby will help her find herself.

Victoria got down from the cab after paying up his money. She let out a breath and started walking down through the narrow path to her house.
Esther couldn’t go with her to the hospital because of work. She was called in for work just when they were heading to the hospital. She had promised to come to Victoria as soon as she got out from work.
Victoria actually needed a peaceful and quiet moment right now.
She entered a lonely street, walking down the path with a lot of things going in her head and mind, suddenly someone grabbed her by the wrist from behind.
She was startled by this. Slowly, she turned around only to find a drunk man, grinning at her.
“Excuse me, let go.” She said calmly.
“You are beautiful.” He sloped in his words, still holding her firmly.
“Listen I don’t want any trouble so please let me go.” She pleaded, trying to wriggle herself from his body but he was too strong for her.
F-ck his damn strength!
“Shhh, princess.” He started pulling her along with him, forcing her to move against her own will.
There was no one around at that moment. All thanks to the lonely road!
“What do you want!? Let me go.” She said a bit loudly now, still struggling to break free.
“If I were you I will stop making things difficult, barbie.” He smirked.
Yuck, his smirk were so awful. They were nothing like ‘his.’
“Leave me_”
“Stay the f-ck away from her.” An angry voice said from behind.
Wait…that voice.
“rom-no?”
