Chapter 44: NIGHTMARE…

He did do as he promised.

He esc-rted me to the library. Him with Evans were discussing while I flipped the pages of the magic book.

I acted like I wasn’t interested in whatever they were talking about, but my ears were actually listening to their discussion.

I didn’t realize I’ve been flipping through the pages over and over again and this is the third time, I’d say.

” You can just turn to page eighty three, that’s where it is.” Evans said.

I looked at Kaden who was now looking at me. I shyly removed my gaze at him, staring at the book before me. ” Page eighty three.” I said to myself.

I opened to the page Evans had told me, ” Why do I have to study greek first?” I asked. ” Why don’t we just go ahead with latin first?”

” Most magic words are written mainly in greek, it would be better if we have to master them first. ” He turns to Kaden who has been listening. ” She seems good with the Latin. I can’t convince her to learn the greek, she is so stubborn. ” He said.

” Don’t worry about convincing her, I know what to do. ”

I looked at Kaden hoping he was actually in his right sense saying that.

I was wondering what it is he was planning on doing but nothing serious was coming out from my thoughts.

” What is it?” Evans asked with curiosity.

” The same thing I had done to make her open the Book. ” He walked to where I was standing with the Book still at page eighty three.

I dropped my gaze on the Book, I knew what he was gonna do and I was scared I’d cause more damage if I have to recite the words in the wrong way.

” Do you think you have to do this?” I asked him, my eyes still on the Book.

” If that is the only way you can get to read it, then yes. Besides, you still remember the words you had said to open it, don’t you?” He asked and I nodded my head.

” I’m just scared, that’s all. What if some thing terrible happens? ”

” You’re scared you might scre-m?”

” Not just that, I’m scared of having another nightmare. ”

” It doesn’t matter, no matter what vision you see, we’ll work it out together. ”

I nodded again.

He touched my hand, the cold feeling of his hands on mine caused me to shiver. I felt a relaxing s-nsation pass through the nerves of my cells.

” Go ahead, you can do it. ”

I took a deep breath, exhaling heavily. ” You can do it, Ana. You can do it. ”

I had another terrible dream, one I wish I have never had. It is said that the war between the world and my pack was gonna happen after three years of war against the Vergence Pack.

But in my dream, it wasn’t as the prophecy had foretold. It was different, and right now I am confused. I think I must speak with Evelyn.

I fear for the fate of Moon Stone, and I fear what the future holds for her.

Since after the practice this noon, I have been hearing weird voices. Voices of scre-ms, cries calling for help.

It was coming through various directions, I look left and right, there’s no one I could see.

I knew this would be the after effect of reading that Book, I knew some thing horrible will happen.

I don’t think I can stand the chance to tell Kaden about any of it. I just don’t want to watch him get bothered about it.

I want to believe this isn’t about the pack as my last vision had interpreted. Seeing Kaden but it turns out that it was my dad.

Please, Moon Goddess, let it be only a dream.

I looked at my hands, they were shaking. I folded my hands, sighing heavily. ” Why am I feeling this way? What’s happening to me? ” I muttered to myself.

” Why do I feel like the world is coming to an end? What is it that Evelyn isn’t telling me? Will the three years be over before the final war commence?

Why do I feel like it’s about to happen any moment from now??

I feel like hell right now, and I have never felt this way before. ” Some thing mighty is about to happen. I can feel it. I can sense it.

But the question is… How long are we left to survive??

Days… Weeks… Months… Or even years??

Let’s just hope so. Maybe keeping it away from Kaden is the only way to avoid things from getting a lot worster.

I’ll just have to keep it to myself until I find an answer to what the hell is going on with me.

AT THE AMAZON HOME…

” Evelyn, please I need an explanation. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I hear things I shouldn’t, and my head keeps burning like hell. ” I complained bitterly.

” You hear things like what?” She asked.

” Voices, scre-ms begging for help. They aren’t ten of then, and they aren’t thousands either. They are millions of them, Evelyn and they won’t stop from crying for help.

It’s like they are in a torture room. ”

” Hell. ” She coldly said.

” What?! ”

” A deeper place than the purgatory. It’s a place monsters torture it’s victims, both the innocent and the guilt. ”

” But… according to the prophecy, it says that the final war was gonna rise after three years of peace between the humans and the werewolves.

Why does this vision tells that there is something bigger yet to come. Is there some thing you aren’t telling me? Was the prophecy changed or what? ”

” I think so. Ana, honestly I have never heard a vision like this before. And talking about the prophecy changing, I could have seen it before hand. ”

” Then why did I see it? Why do I have this vision?”

” I think the Moon Goddess wants you to know that before anyone else. Ana, you’ve got to know something, every day people changes, the world do change likewise fate.

We can’t hope on fate for so long, it changes most time and we can’t do any thing but to face what it holds. What ever it is you have just seen, I think it’s a warning to all of us.

Have you told Kaden yet? He need to know about this as soon as possible. ”

I shook my head,” No, I can’t tell him, not now. ”

” Why?”

” I can’t risk to watch him get bothered. ”

” It doesn’t matter how bothered he gets, Ana, if there’s anyone who has to know about this it’s him. ”

” No!” I refused. ” I’ve seen how much concerned he gets whenever I tell him of my dreams. He hærdly sleeps each night and he starves himself.

I can’t watch him again, no not again. We don’t even know what this dream is all about, how then will he know? ”

” Moon goddess has blessed Kaden with so much wisdom, I am so sure he’s got a knowledge about this than anyone else.

You just have to tell him first, then wait for whatever his reply will be. ”

” What if he doesn’t believe me?”

” You will only get things worst if you keep saying that. It’s time you stop doubting in what Kaden believes. Like I have said, you must let him know about what you have seen.

Have you ever wondered why he can’t read through your mind? That’s because She made him that way. She wants you to keep telling him by yourself, but you keep proving so stubborn to what you believe and what you doubt.

Kaden has just walked into the room, you need to wake up now. ”

I gasped, breathing heavily as I stared around the room. Kaden looked shocked as soon as I jerked up.

” Ana, are you alright? ”

” No, I’m not alright. ” I said, still breathing heavily. ” We’ve got a big problem, Kaden. ”

” What are you talking about? ” He looked confused.

” Kaden…. Something big is about to happen. Something big and dangerous…”
