I got to the hospital and rush to the emergency room.
“Nurse,where is doctor Nana? I asked.
“She took a day off sir” she replied.
“Without letting me know? Anyways, you can go I’ll take care of the patient” I said
and she bow down and left.
After treating the patient and make sure he is out of danger, I left for my office.
Why did Nana left without taking permission from me?
Or is it because of our unsettled matter?.
I went downstairs to the nurse desk and collect some record from her.
I went to some of the rooms to check up on the patients.
After checking up on them I returned the records to the nurse desk.
“Tell doctor Kim to meet me in my office immediately” I said and left the place.
Few minutes later there was a knock on the door.
“Come in” I said and Kim enter.
“Prof you asked for my presence”
“Yes Kim ,why is Nana absent without her telling me? I asked
“Honestly I don’t know too,she hærdly talk to me this days” he complains.
“That’s weird” I muttered.
“Okay, the patient in room 45 you should take over his treatment,collect his health
record from the nurses ” I replied.
“Okay” he retorted and turned to leave.
“Kim” I called
“Yes?
“How many junior doctors do we have in this hospital? I asked.
“Ten” he replied.
“And seniors?
“We have twenty senior doctors including you making it twenty one” he replied.
“Give the Junior ones a test,anyone that passed it will take over Nana’s position in
the hospital” I commanded.
“What!! I mean why? Nana is your friend”
“Well she disrespect me,which I hate so she is hereby strip of her position” I replied
and face the laptop.
“Okay” he finally said and left the office.
I hate being disrespect,I hate being doubt, I hate being cheated on.
In fact I hate liars most especially.
And Nana just disrespect me which i can’t take.
I was typing on my laptop when my phone rang.
Maybe it’s Jiso.

I missed him, I was feeling lonely in the house so i thought of calling him.
I dialed his number and he picked up almost immediately.

📲Hi love 📲he greeted and I blushed.

I have started getting used to him calling me like that.
Honey,ain’t you done yet? I am lonely here I said sadly.

📲Sorry baby,I’ll be there within thirty minutes okay 📲he replied.

📲Alright ,am waiting 📲I said and disconnected the call.

Since it is noon I went to the bathroom and took my bath, after which I wore a
simple short skirt and a top.
I sat down on the bed pressing my phone.
Few minutes later a car drove in, i quickly peep out of the window to catch a
glimpse of whom it is but the car was already out of sight.
I waited for some time fully sure that it might be Jayden.
Few minutes later the door opened and he came in.
“So, you don’t look like you’re lonely” he said with a smile.
“So I should cry out loud before you know? I asked.
“Come on don’t take it too serious,it’s just a joke” he replied as he sat on the bed
and k-ssed my cheek.
I wanted to tell him about his father’s invitation but I felt something urging me not
to.
“Am hungry” I said making a cute baby face.
“Tell Milli to prepare lunch for us” he said and stood up.
“No,I want you to cook for me” I demanded and he turned to look at me.
“Babe, like seriously?
“Yea,I want you to cook for me” I maintained.
“Okay then,let’s go to the kitchen” he replied and headed out while I quickly follow
him.
We get to the kitchen downstairs and he removed his shirt and handed it over to me,
he tied the a new neat apron which Milli gave him and bring out pasta from the
cupboard.
“You like pasta don’t you? He asked.
” I love it” I replied and he nodded and continue with it.
I watch him keenly as he handle the cooking without any help.
Watching his shirtless body dripping of tiny sweats makes me h***y.
Thirty minutes later he was through with the cooking.
He served for the both of us and we started eating.
I put the fork in my mouth and chew for the first time.
I looked at him with disbelief.
“Why are you staring at me like that? He asked
“It’s so delicious”I complement and he smile.
“Specially cooked for you”
After eating he wash the dishes and we play video games.
I totally forgot about my nervousness which is meeting Mr Choi.

NEXT MORNING

I woked up and headed to the bathroom where I took my bath and wear my clothes.
I have told Jayden the night before that I’ll be visiting my dad.
I don’t want him to know that I will be seeing his father.
I picked my handbag and phone and headed to his room.
I opened the door and went in to see him still sleeping.
I went near him and k-ssed his forehead.
He opened his eyes and looked at me.
“You’re ready? But it’s still early” he said with a sad voice.
“I’ll be back soon,I won’t be long” I replied.
“Okay then,greet your dad for me”he said and I nodded.
The fact that i am lying to him is killing me in,side.
I left the room and went out to the gate where a taxi that I hired online was waiting
for me.
“The Choi’s mansion please” I said and he nodded.
He ignite the engine and drove off.
We got there and I came down after paying the cab driver.
I knocked at the gate and the door was opened for me.
“I am here to see Mr Choi” I said.
“His he aware of your visit? He asked.
“Yes,Jiso by name” I said
“Oh,follow me ma’am” he said
I followed him and went to a different building,he lead me to a room ,an office
actually.
I saw the man sitting on the couch with a newspaper article in his hand.
“You can leave us now” he told the gateman who bowed and left.
“Sit down” he said and I sat down.
Two hours later I was walking along the road with tears in my eyes.
What have I done to deserve this?
His he right to say that Jayden love Gem more than he love me?
Am I just his second choice?
I boarded a cab and rest my head on the window.
If it is true,what do I do?
The cab stopped moving and I came out.
I went in,side the house after the gate was opened.
I saw a new car parked beside Jayden’s own but I never put much thought on it.
I went in,side the house and could see Milli looking at me with an expression I
couldn’t comprehend.

Went upstairs and headed straight to Jayden’s room.
I opened the door and couldn’t believe my eyes.
Jayden and Gem unclad on the bed, having s€×.
The same bed I and Jayden made love multiple times.
He saw me and quickly disengage from her but she k-ssed him and they continue
their game.
So it is true, I am a second choice all along.
I was shattered.
I ran out of the out immediately I made my way out of the villa.
Where do I go to from here?
