I stretched out my palm. “The panties”.

“I don’t know, Brianna”. He smirked. “They seem pretty soft for keeps, you know”.

I frowned as he said that. Oh what have I gotten myself into? This makes me wish that Chloe was here to beat him up badly.

“Liam, come on”. I whined. “Just give them to me, i followed you, didn’t I?”.

“I’ll give you if you have a treat with me first”.

I sighed. “Okay fine, lets go then”.

He unlocked the car doors and we stepped out of the car. I glanced around, my gaze falling on the tall building.

Wow. Its clearly dripping in wealth, could it be Liam’s workplace or he could even own it as Nicole had said he’s famous.

He stretched his hands to mine. “Hey. Lets go already”.

I placed my palm in his and he held it softly, it made me feel different but why? I quickly shrugged the thoughts and followed me in the building.

I didn’t say anything as we walked past the securities who bowed slightly to him, i just looked around once we were in,side.

Okay. Its official, this place is wow. It looks so classy and elegant as well. I noticed that most of the workers who walked past were giving him respect, like real admiration.

“Do you own this place?”. I asked him as we got into the elevator.

He pushed a button. “Do you think I own this place?”.

“I don’t know, maybe. It seems like”.

He faced me. “Like I said when we first met, I’m Williams Paige”.

“The wealthiest man in all of New York?”.

He flashed me a smile. “Took you that long to figure it out”.

“But how? I mean, how did I not know?”.

“I had mentioned it that night but I guess you didn’t pay attention because you were too busy admiring my features in bed”.

I blushed remembering that night. “Oh just shut up”.

He chuckled slightly and the elevator doors opened then we stepped out. He led me to another office and walked in.

I gaped at the sight. It was perfectly perfect and everything just grandly stylish. I went to the other side where I could clearly see the parking lot.

The glasses were transparent from where I was and I admired the view. I turned back but paused as I didn’t see him anymore.

“Liam?”. I called.

Huh? Where did he go? He was just here with me right now.

He smirked. “Missed me already?”.

“Whats that you holding?”. I asked him so I could change the subject.

“Ice-cream”.

I arched my eyebrows. “Ice cream?!”.

“Yeah”. He placed it on the middle table. “I thought as to keep us busy. Lots and lots of flavors”.

I crossed my arms. “Liam, why exactly am I here?”.

“Okay. Brianna, it will be Lili’s birthday next month”.

“Awwwww”. I cooed. “How sweet, she’ll be turning 8 right?”.

“Yep and I need your help in finding her a perfect present”.

“Why me?”.

“Apparently, she likes you and thats a first because Lili never associates at all”.

“Oh”.

“Look, Brianna. I don’t want to burden you or something like that but I just don’t want to be a bad father by giving her an awful present”.

I tapped my chin. “Hm. If I help you find the perfect present then can I have__”.

“Yep. I’ll give you your panties”. He cut me off.

“Okay fine”. I agreed. “But you owe me a favor, Williams”.

“Its a deal then, Brianna”.

I faced him. “Do you have any choices for her birthday gifts?”.

“Well not exactly but I was thinking maybe dolls”.

“She’s turning eight, Liam which means she’s getting mature not immature”.

“How about we talk about all this when you come over at the weekend for stakes?”.

“I’ll find a way to drop that”.

He smiled. “Thanks. Lili would love that”.

I nodded in response and glanced at the view again. Why do I feel the urge to puke all of a sudden?

“Brianna, want some sundae ice cream?”.

I accepted and he scooped it out for me adding toppings as well sprinkled and also wh¡pped cream.

I watched him as he did that. I should be angry with him that he blackmailed me with my panties so as to come with him but I’m not.

I walked in the restaurant feeling stressed out as I stride to the counter meeting up with Nicole.

“So how was it with Mister Williams?”. She wiggled her eyebrows at me.

I rolled my eyes. “I don’t need to tell you anything so don’t expect anything”.

“Come on, please”. She pouted. “Just tell me what went on between you both”.

“Nothing happened between us, Nicole so there is no story”.

“Oh come on. He made the boss let you go just so he could have some alone time with you, i know something had happened”.

I shook my head ignoring as I went to the back to take my bag. I remembered what she had said and smiled to myself.

I guess Liam isn’t so bad after all. Its really sweet what he wants to do for Lili and I say thats a good man with a good heart.

“You are leaving early?”. Nicole asked as I walked back out.

“Yep. Boss gave me the day off so see you tomorrow”.

“Oh. I get it, you just wanna go meet your Mister prince charming, Williams”. Her l-ips thinned into a suspicious grin.

I rolled my eyes. “Don’t you think you should get back to work and not bombard me with questions?”.

“Trust me, Brianna. When you walk in that door tomorrow, i’m still gonna ask you the same question”.

“See you tomorrow. Nicole”. I waved at her going out the front door.

I smiled as the evening breeze hit me, i just love anything that makes me free.

“Brie”.

I turned. “Chloe? What are you doing here now?”.

“Silly”. She waved her car keys. “I came to pick you up”.

“Did you get the job?”. I decided to ask her.

“Well actually it turns out that I almost beat my boss up this morning”.

I gasped. “Chloe? Come on, you have to stop doing that”.

“Relax, i didn’t beat him up, i almost did”.

“So did you get it?”.

“Yep”. She nodded in response. “Although I had to fake tears so I could get him to give me the position”.

“Oh. So how’s the interview like?”.

“No interview needed. I got the job as his personal assistant”.

I smiled. “Chloe, thats great”.

“But he’s kind of hot”.

“First time you complimented a guy, whats his name?”.

“Lucas Knights. Your jerk of Liam’s friend”.

“Huh? You mean the guy at the club who was with Liam?”. I asked as we walked to her car.

“Yeah”.

“Well I guess he’s cute”.

She paused. “Just that? He’s handsome, Brie. He has l-ips to kill for and his eyes are, Oh My Gosh”.

“Chloe Houston”. I stared at her. “You like him”.

She let out a scoff. “No way”.

I made to reply her when I noticed that a guy was by her car taking random pictures.

“Hey. Punk, get away from that”. She yelled at him.

“Chill. Babe, just a picture”.

I stopped immediately. Did he just call her Babe? Oh, he is in for a beating of his life.

She clenched her fist and I expected Chloe to go give him a piece of her mind and that is exactly what she did.

“Just so you know, going around to beat people up isn’t the answer sometimes”.

She rolled her eyes. “I had to since as from tomorrow, i won’t do it again”.

“And why is that?”. I asked her amusedly.

“I promised Lucas that I would stop it”.

“You really are into that guy, aren’t you?”.

“I am not into__”.

“You bitch!!”.

I froze seeing Lauren walk over to me with her friends as she cut Chloe off. And she seemed angry with me but why? I haven’t crossed her paths for months now.
