When you begin to pursue your dreams, your whole life wakes up, your mind wakes up and everything else begins to have meaning. In the darkness of the forest, from that moment, Julius saw the true purpose of the life ahead of him. He gathered dried woods and leaves, he also located two stones and slid them against each other. The colliding frictional force between them produced heat and molecules of fire which landed on the dry leaves to generate fire that burned in the presence of oxygen thus, illuminating the arena where the young boy wanted to pass the night.

On the other hand, same night in the royal castle, Albat, on her way to Adriana’s chamber bumped on a woman who covered her head with a black fabric. She looked up into her face and was shocked to notice that it was the woman that carried her in her womb.

“Mother!” she called her. “What are you doing here?!” she asked stunningly.

Mrs. Bharat said nothing but hurried away from the castle. Albat could also do nothing but wreck her brain why her own mother was allowed into the castle after which the pandemonium commenced. Nevertheless, she walked into Adriana’s chamber to see her seated at the edge of her bed, shedding tears. The young princess looked up at her maid and said, “It’s not what they say it is.”

“What who said, my lady?” Albat asked, standing in the middle of the room. “Did my mother say anything?” she added.

“Your mother?” Adriana became surprised.

“Yes, I saw her leaving the castle?”

Thoughtfully, Adriana stood up. Her tears suddenly dried up while her mind began to clear up too. She paced in the silence that overwhelmed the chamber. Albat didn’t understand the sudden revamping charisma of her princess. Therefore she asked, “What’s going on, my princess?”

“I don’t know. That’s what I want to figure out. As it stands now, Julius is on the run. My father accused him of rape which never happened. In fact, I was the on that entered his chamber but trust me it wasn’t a rape… It was absolutely nothing…. nothing happened. My concern now is your mother’s presence in the palace. I guess there’s something more than a rape which is the reason my father, for the second time, wants Julius dead that you’re not telling me.” Adriana glared at her.

“I do not know! I am as confused as you are, my lady!” Albat spread her innocent hands. Tears circulated her eyes, knowing that Julius was in trouble again. “Permit me to find out from his father, my princess.” she requested.

“Go!” she permitted her.

Bharat opened Bruce’s door and uncovered her head immediately. She looked up with the help of candle flames at several corners of the chamber to see Cyrus standing alone.

“It is done! You’ve won.” Bharat broke the silence.

Hearing her voice, Bruce came out from his inner chamber. “What’s she doing here?” he asked astonishingly. Nobody answered him, rather Cyrus stepped closer to Bharat.

“Why did you do it?” he asked her.

“C’mon, Cyrus. I’m not stupid. It was what you wanted.” She replied, walking to a burning candle where she placed her palms above the flames to warm herself up as she continued. “Your rantings in my chamber earlier today was because you wanted me to, out of provocation, tell the king who the real Kadura is and I did.”

“What?!” Bruce exclaimed. “You did what?!”

“As we speak, Julius is on the run.” Bharat turned to the two old men who seemed quiet and surprised especially Bruce. “Why are you leaving your friend in the dark, book wizard? Explain to him.” she added.

First, Cyrus lit his bone marrow and blew off a large smoke of marijuana. He began, looking at Bruce. “Man is not what he thinks he is, he is what he hides. Since what he hides is what he is, the secret needs to be unhidden for him to be what he truly is. Saying the truth, no matter the consequences, sometimes is a path to achieve a destiny. Most times, without pressure one can never find through purpose of his life. That’s exactly what Julius needs. I believe as the king is after his life now, he will embrace his destiny. I couldn’t bring myself to tell the king the truth, so I had to go through Bharat. She was smart enough to understand my visit to her chamber.”

“Oh my God!” Bruce exclaimed. “So my son is out there all alone in the woods?”

“Life there will teach him to embrace his destiny?” Bharat ch¡pped in, walking away from the burning candle.

“What about your daughter, Albat?”

“The same logic Cyrus applied to see that Julius embraces his destiny, same is applicable to emotional feelings. All falls back to the word, ‘truth’. Let me ask you Bruce” she walked closer to a table where she picked a bottle of herb. “Assuming you do not know who this bottle belongs to and you love it so much that you want to take it home. All of a sudden, you discover that it solely belongs to the gods already and there’s nothing you can do. What will you do?”

Bruce kept quiet.

“The love for the bottle will suddenly vanish because you know you can never get it.” Cyrus replied.

“So my daughter have to know the truth even though it will hurt her. Far be it from us to change the will of the gods.” Bharat concluded.

“Thank you.” Cyrus appreciated her.

Just then, Albat and Maximus barged into the chamber, breathing hastily. They were surprised to see the three of them especially Albat couldn’t believe to see her mother again in Bruce’s domain.

“I met her coming here and I followed her since we were coming for the same purpose; the cause of the bell. We hope Julius is not in trouble again.” Maximus broke the tention and silence. Nobody answered him.

“Mother?” Albat stepped forward. “What is going on! Why were you in the palace and here now? Why does the king want Julius dead by all means?” she asked.

“Because Julius is Kadura not that man in the castle that calls himself Kadura.” Bharat replied.

“What?!”

Maximus chuckled and stepped forward too. “Okay, joke time is over.”

“Do we look like clowns to you, young boy?!” Cyrus roared. “Julius is the real Kadura” he added.

“You must be kidding me!”

“I’m not kidding! Nobody must hear this not even Adriana.” Cyrus located a seat behind him.

However, Albat had slowly walked towards the window with tears in her eyes, remembering every moment with Julius. She also saw the reason the princess loves him so much. Truly, she was heart broken..

The next morning, in the forest, Julius woke up to the sound of a sword. Already his fire had gone off. He opened his eyes to see men surrounding him. They were obvious to be recognized; slave traders. Julius tried to run but was surrendered with swords, captured and put into a cage. He could see them through the cage. They were many of them, matching like warriors to a war.

Notwithstanding, after days traveling, they got to a village where they began to capture the men, raping the women and killing those who prove stubborn. From the cage, Julius saw the brutal killings of the villagers. Their cry quivered his eardrums that he couldn’t bear it anymore. But he was powerless and helpless. Well, not until he saw one of the men, dragging a sixteen years old girl out of a mud chamber. She wore a local fabric and was a bit fair in complexion. Julius narrowed his sight because she looked familiar to him.

“Adriana?” he murmured her name.

The man pushed the girl down and was about to rape her when Julius s¢ræmed in a loud voice! Not only did thunder strike the cage broke open too. He stretched forth his hand at the man and he found himself flying away from the poor innocent girl. Getting to the girl, more men formulated to fight him. All of a suddenly, a white horse from nowhere galloped to Julius. On the body of the horse was a tied sword. All watched in amazement how Julius patted the horse and drew out the sword that sparkled like a diamond. He strangely stared at it.

Seeing the wonders, the leader of the slave traders said in shock. “Aliento!” He knelt on one knee and bowed for him. Seeing that, his men also knelt down and bowed their heads. Yet, Julius had not stopped staring at the sword. Also, the girl was still lying on the floor, looking at him. She cleared her throat which brought Julius’ attention to her.

“I’m sorry, my lady.” Julius help her up. “What are you doing here, Adriana?” he asked her.

“She’s not Adriana, she’s Celestina, Adriana’s twin sister.” A woman’s voice came from a distance.

Both turned to the woman. Stunned, Celestina said, “Mother? What are you saying? I have a twin sister?”

Hearing all that and feeling a great power within him, Julius remembered Icarus words: “You’re not ready and you will be made ready soon by her…… Open your heart for her. A woman can be your strength and also your weakness.”

Celestina turned to Julius to see him already staring at her speechlessly…..
