” You killed the Vergence Pack.”

” I killed what?!” I exclaimed.

” Yes, you killed the Vergence Pack. ” She stated with a nod.

” No, that’s impossible. I’ve been unconscious, ” shooks her head, ” I wouldn’t do that, would I? I mean, I can’t. I’m not a murderer and besides, I’m just a seer. ”

” We’re all surprised just as you are because the miracle you did last night, I can’t even explain it in details. Every thing is getting a lot complicated this days and I am telling you, Crystal is no exemption. ”

” It’s been long I saw Crystal, I can’t believe I’ve been this wicked and far from her all this while. So, what about her? ”

” She grew all of a sudden! ” She flew her hands high. ” I mean, it’s really baffling. Last night, she grew two inches taller. ”

” She’s an animal, Hilda, what do you expect? ” I said, not fancing the information.

” Well, it might not mean any thing to you but it does to me. ” She threw herself on one of the couch. ” Alpha Kaden is with his councils right now, every one are talking about the incident last night.

Look, Miss, I won’t say I ain’t surprised too. Since the previous night, I’ve been thinking what it actually means to scre-m and kill just a particular group of people. ”

” I wish I can understand all this more clearly. I can’t even believe this actually happened. ” I shook my head. ” I can’t believe I can’t remember any thing that happened. And the fact that I killed a lot of people, this is incredible!” I stood up, pacing around the room.

“What do you think they’re gonna see me as, a monster! A murderer! Shit! ” I curse, sitting back on the bed. ” Maybe that’s exactly what I am. I’m a monster. ”

” Hey, Miss, don’t you ever say that about yourself. No one says you’re a monster or a murderer, you are a human. I don’t care how or what exactly is behind all this but I do know one thing for sure, you are no killer.

You did a great thing for the pack, you killed their worst enemies and brought victory to us all. The Vergence Pack is now gone, Moon Stone can live happily without any treat. And, no one is ever gonna think about getting you shot again. ”

” I was shot? ”

” Please, don’t tell me you don’t remember getting shot. ”

I looked at my left shoulder, touching the scar. ” I remember now. I was trying to get my face scre-m when… ” I paused staring at the window, it was made new again.

” The Master has worked on it already. ”

” I thought I’d die, but here I am. ” I sighed.” There’s only one person who might know about this. ”

” Who is that? ” She asked, curiously.

” It’s a friend from the Amazon Home, you’ve probably not heard about it. Her name is Evelyn, she will know why I can’t remember any thing about last night. ”

” Amazon Home? Wow, that name sounds awesome. ”

” Yeah, it’s a long story, though. ”

“Can I ask you a question? ”

” Sure, go ahead. ” She agreed.

” Have you seen Kaden turn? I mean, to a wolf?” I asked.

She nodded her head at me. ” Yes. Why?”

” Yesterday, I saw his eyes, after I got shot. It was red… and different. Like, it wasn’t the normal human eyes I know, it was more like that of an animal. What does that mean? ”

” It means he was almost or probably at the peak of turning to a werewolf. Wolves turns whenever they get angry or by the effect of full moon.

And at that point, you dare not come across them because their heart has been replaced with that of an animal. And here, I meant, he doesn’t remember anything. ”

” But they can be controlled, right? I mean… back to their human form. ”

” Of course, they can. But, it’s really not that easy as you think. Not every one can bring them back, especially in their angry state. ”

” I need to see Kaden now. ”

” What?! Why?! Don’t tell me you want to test his anger! ”

” Why would I think of doing that? I actually want to see him, I need an explanation on what really happened. ” I sighed. ” The war wasn’t supposed to end that way, Kaden was meant to prove himself to the people and not me making a hell or caos. ”

” You didn’t cause any caos, you did what you had to do. And besides, those hell of a people deserve it. You better find a suitable conversation to start with him. ”

” I don’t know why when I try to do things, you keep giving me reasons why I shouldn’t do them. ”

” I’m only trying to be the best maid you ever had. ”

” You’re the best maid ever. Can you get Crystal for me? I’m missing her already. ”

Crystal, has indeed grown so big. But… not really as big as Hilda had explained.

I was thinking she has grown to the size of a dog or some thing worst. She just grew to the normal size she has to.

Kaden hated cat, so I made her stay with Hilda at night. Though, Hilda has made it known to me that every thing was alright and no one thinks I am a killer or any thing.

But I still felt bothered, Kaden never overlook things especially when it has to do with me. He gets extra bothered about me and talking about the case I scre-med…

I mean, I just scre-med??!!

It’s horrible, and almost like a nightmare to the ear. No wonder why Evelyn said there was more about me than being just a banshee.

I honestly hope there’s nothing more about me this time. I’m tired of having a supernatural crazy power. There’s actually no difference in being a seer and a banshee.

Put aside the part I scre-m as a banshee, they both require seeing the extra ordinary aspect of life. Seeing visions of death, and scary futures to come.

I was still in thoughts that I didn’t know when Kaden walked in. ” Hey, ” he greeted.

I returned back to reality, forcing myself to smile. ” Hey. ”

” You were lost, what is it you are thinking about?” He asked, coming to sit on the bed.

” I… I was thinking about last night. Hilda told me every thing that happened, Kaden… ”

” You did a great thing for the pack, I’m impressed. ” He furrowed, ” You think I’d be uncomfortable with you? ”

I sighed, nodding my head at him. ” I didn’t complain, did I?”

” No, you didn’t, Kad. I was only thinking that… ” I paused, ” I thought you’d see me as a monster. You know, seeing horrible things, sleepwalking at night and now I can scre-m a million miles away. ”

” Ana, no matter what you do, I will never get uncomfortable having you around. Ana, I chose this fate, I chose to love you, and I am ready to face it. ”

Chapter 42: MATING ANA.

Practice with the doctor isn’t some thing one could proudly speak of, it almost felt like reading practice book with Zeus.

It’s always easy to recite a huge number of greek and latin words when sleepwalking, but honestly that’s totally different when you are conscious.

I had to give a silly excuse so I can leave that hell library for good and escaping my life without spending the rest of my day, biting my tongue.

Luckily, I met Kaden leaving his office. He asked me how the practice was, I had to lie to him that it was good and the doctor had sent me off to rest.

I’m a pretty good liar, ain’t I?

He held me by the hand as we headed to the room. I was beginning to feel heat curling in,side of me as I followed him to his bedroom and I don’t know why.

This has never happened to me before.

It was looking as if today was actually my first time to enter his room or have a taste of his bed.

I saw myself not able to utter a single word to him after his savage response to my innocent question.

I just wanted to know what I had to do concerning my powers without him ever mentioning reciting the magic book,

But his response shook me completely. He wanted me to sin!!

He locked the door behind me and came back to me. He cupped my face and asked, ” I never asked this before, but now I think it’s necessary to. Tell me, Ana, how many men have been in between your thighs? ”

My mouth hung open at his straight forward question. I didn’t expect this at all. Was this a question by mistake or what exactly?

Or am I still thinking the fact that I’ve been expecting such a thing from him?

No, I have never ever expected something like this in my entire life. I mean, I can’t remember any one passing through my thighs.

Not even the good for nothing assh-le my mom almost married me to.

” Really?” He asked, sounding surprised.

I nodded my head. ” Well, that’s great, and perfect for me. However, we have a little problem. ”

” As per the pack rules, the Alpha is only supposed to claim a woman who is a V-rgin and someone who hasn’t indulged in any s€×ual activities. ” He said.

” I know that but, my KIND has doubts about that. And with that body, no one believes. ” He stated.

I looked down at my body. Was there something wrong with me? My br-ast and h¡p did grow so quickly than I expected, but I thought that was natural.

” Kaden, I am saying the truth, I haven’t let any man in between my legs. ”

” Ana, I believe you. But you know what, like I said, I don’t care what the rules says, I just wanna make you mine once and for all. ”

He jerked me up into his arms, dropping me on the bed. ” It’s time to make you mine, Ana. Mine alone. ”

He removed the coat off my body, and I slowly laid down on the soft, comfortable bed.

Though my heart was beating so fast, but a part of me wanted this moment so desperate.

Taking a deep breath, he patted my legs open for me. ” Fear not, Kitten, I won’t be too rough.”

His finger tips traced the bare flesh of my legs as I quivered in fright.

It’s just a night act. I thought to myself as I calmed my quickening heartbeat down.

Now she was laying stacked unclad before him, he studied her, car-ssing her br-asts.

He trailed his first fingers on her br-astbone, and she gasped mo-ns at every movement his fingers made on her skin.

Ana moved into his hands until he stopped suddenly, removing his fingers as if he had thought better of the wh0le thing.

She closed her eyes, feeling his l-ips on the back of her neck, feeling his fingers tracing the length of her spine.

The pressure of his hands clasping her s€×, fingers slipping in,side her, l-ips against her l-ips.

Fingers pinched her n-pples hurtfully and deliciously… She felt herself being lifted, the darkness swirling around her, strong hands turning her @nd stroking her all over.

There was no gravity any longer, she felt his strength increasing, the heat of it increasing… she was floating in the air.

Feeling her legs forced apart and her mouth opened. ” Yes, do it. ” She mo-ned.

He stroke her in, timing his mastur-strokes to the shaking of her knees and the somewhat Zen-like whooshing of her breathing.

And when she began to come for the second time he did in fact stop time for an instant and laid his d*ck in her V.

He held her palm and closed his fist around her fist, and squeezed on it so tightly. ” Ah, Kad…”
