Annabella returned to her room and fell on the bed happily,Gregor aaid her food tastes amazing,it sounds like the best compliment in the world.

“He really said that” Annabella muttered and smiled

Just then,her phone rang and she took it from tge bed side stool,her eyes almost widened when she saw that it’s Thadeus.

She sighed out before answering the call

“Mr Thadeus” She called

“Annabella” Thadeus cool voice came

“How have you been?” He asked

“Great,you?” She asked

“I want to see you again” Thadeus said and Annabella bite her bottom lip

“Would you like to go out with me again?” Thadeus asked

“I’m quite busy these days Mr Thadeus,but I will lkke to go out with you again” Annabella said

“Then,tell me anytime you’re free” Thadeus said

“Of course,I will do that”

They kept on talking for a while before hanging up and like that Annabella slept off.

CAMPBELL’S MANSION

“We are here” Lonnie said when he stopped in front of the mansion after their date

“Thanks for today Lonnie,I enjoyed spending time with you” Melanie smiled

“I had so much fun that I forgot I was supposed to tell you something” Lonnie said and held her hand

Melanie looked at him

“Go on” She said and Lonnie kissed the back of her hand which made her freeze but she tried her best not to move

“I love you Melanie” Lonnie said and her eyes widened

“I’ve been crushing on you for a long time but I had no courage to tell you…I was scared of rejection. But I can’t keep it anymore,even if you reject me,but I’m crazy about you Melanie,so please give me a chance” Lonnie confessed while Melanie listened unbelievably.

Her long time crush just proposed to her,isn’t that the best news in the world for her right now?

“Melanie…..”

“I love you too Lonnie” She cut him off and Lonnie gave her a surprised look

“You…do??”

“Yeah,I’ve been crushing on you too Lonnie,I’m in love with you” Melanie said and Lonnie couldn’t hide his happiness

He pulled her closer immediately and slammed his lios on hers,Melanie happily reciprocated too

Lonnie broke the kiss and she smiled shyly

“I will see you tomorrow” He said and Melanie nodded

“Goodnight” She said and got down from the car

“Bye” she waved at him and ran into the house

Lonnie smiled crazily before he also drove off.

Melanie texted her friends as soon as she rushed into her room

💌 What’s up? How was your date with Lonnie?

Daisy asked

💌He asked me out!!!!!!!!

Melanie said

💌 Wow,finally! Congrats baby girl!!

Alyssa also shouted

💌 gosh I’m so happy right now,call me miss Lonnie please!!

💌 I can’t wait to have have a boyfriend too 😩……Daisy sent

💌 Don’t be jealous baby girl 😹…..Melanie sent

She dropped her phone and went into the bathroom.

NEXT MORNING≈GREGOR’S ISLAND

Annabella lead the twins out of their room after getting dressed for school,they are both looking so beautiful and handsome. Casey’s hair was packed with beautiful colors of ribbons which matched her short multicolored gown,she look so cute.

“We haven’t seen dad this morning” Alex spoke up

‘You think daddy left without seeing us? That’s sad” Casey pouted

“Cmon cuties,he probably have something important to do,so don’t worry” Annabella saif and they both nodded

They got yo the dinning hall and Annabella pushed back their seats for them,they both sat down

“Nanny,did you made our breakfast too?” Alex askrf

“Oh..no I didn’t. It’s just some toast and tea….”

“Can you just continue making pur foods?” Casey pouted and Annabella smiled

‘Fine,but don’t skip this. Just eat okay?” Annabella said and pat her hair

“Mine too” Alex said,Annabella also touched his hair and they began eating

“How about we make some delicious meal tonight?” Annabella suggested

“Together?” Casey asked

“Are you interested?” Annabella asked

“Yes I am,I want to be a goof cook like you when I grow up” Casey said

“Then,let’s do it together” Annabella smiled

“Why are you two leaving me behind?” Alex asked

“Because you’re a boy,you can just stay with dad because I have a feeling he will be home more early today” Casey smiled and Annabella blinked

“Did nanny gave daddy out of the fried rice?” Alex asked

“Yes I did” Annabella replied

“Thank you nanny!!” Alex and Casey chorused and Annabella was confused

“But….why?” She asked

“I’ve never seem daddy eating breakfast it dinner,I don’t know if he eats in the office but he’s always in a hurry to leave in the morning,and before he gets home,we will be sleeping already.” Casey explained

Alex took Annabella’s hand

“Can you just continue giving daddy dinner at least?” He asked and Annabella smiled

“It’s nothing big,I will try” She said and he smiled at her before he continue eating.

Annabella was quiet as she kept on staring at them as they eat

‘They are so cute’ she said inwardly and didn’t know when she touched Casey’s cheek

“Nanny,we want to hear the full story of Goldilocks tonight” Alex raised his head

“Of course,I will tell you everything tonight” Annabella smiled.

2PM≈A RESTAURANT

Cindy got down from the taxi and paid happily,she’s been wishing to come to this restaurant for the past three dsyd and now she’s finally here.

She was about going in when she set her eyes on a car,she immediately stopped and looked more closely,the car looks so Familiar

“Don’t tell me the coffee man is here” She mumbled still trying to see closely until she suddenly saw Brandon’s PA in tge restaurant

“Jesus” her eyes widened and she didn’t think twice before turning back but then her head hit someone’s chest

“Sorry!” She quickly said and tried moving again

“It’s you” Brandon’s voice came and she almost froze when she looked up and saw his Face.

“It’s really you the clumsy girl” Brandon said amd she swallowed

“I….apologized right?” Cindy asked

‘No you didn’t that wasn’t even a sincere apology” Brandon said

“Fine! I will just buy you food,it’s on me” Cindy muttered and Brandon smiled

“Are you trying to bribe me with that?” He asked

“Then,what else do you want?” Cindy asked

“Bills on you,let’s go” Brandon said and she nodded,leading tge way while Brandon smirked before following her

‘Boss…..”

“Wait outside,I’m fine” Brandon cut his PA off and joined Cindy on the table.

“I can order anything I want right?’ Brandon asked

“Yes” Cindy replied and finally a waitress came over to their tanks

MINUTES LATER

“Here’s your bill sir” The waitress said to Brandon

‘No,her” Brandon smiled and the waitress turned to Cindy who collected the bill nervously

Her eyes widened when she saw the amount she was to pay

“One….hundred thousand dollars?” She stuttered and looked st Brandon,he only ate a little but it was his usual and one of the most expensive food there

“But,how come? I only got spaghetti and chicken,then he….”

“That’s it ma’am” The waitress said and Cindy swallowed hard

Brandon sipped from his wine and stood up

“Thanks for the lunch” he smiled at her

“Wait!” Cindy rushed to him and grabbed hus hand

“What are you doing?” Brandon asked

“I…..I….will for anything…just…pay for this huh? Please” Cindy said

Brandon pulled her hand down

“Are you sure? Anything?” He asked and Cindy immediately nodded

“Be my girlfriend” Brandon smiled and she frowned

“What are you talking about?” She asked

“Then pay my bills….”

“Hey!!! Who the h*ll do you think you are?!! Just because you’re rich?!!” Cindy yrllrf and Brandon raised his brows

Cindy tutbef yo the waitress

“I’m going to pay for what I eat,hold him and take your monet from him or that’s the end!!” She said and opened her purse

“Here” she dropped her money on the table and glared at Brandon before storming out of the restaurant

“Wow” Brandon muttered and chuckled

He gave the cashier his credit card and paid for his meal

“Who’s she?’ He muttered as he walked out.

EVENING

Gregor’s car stopped and his guards rushed out to open the door for him,he stepped down from the car and looked around,it’s his first time coming to the president’s house,he suddenly got his invitation and he couldn’t let him down.

“This way sir” The guard leading the way directed and Gregor followed him.

Soon,they entered the large living room where the president is already waiting.

“Mr Campbell” President Asher called immediately,he’s a man in his early fifties

“Your Excellency” Gregor bowed immediately but instead the president shook hands with him.

“It’s nice to see you coming over even when you’re busy” President Asher said

“I can’t ignore your invitation,it’s nice coming here” Gregor smiled out his dimples

‘I have someone I want to introduce to you anyway” President Asher said

“Oh…who?” Gregor asked

“My first daughter,she has always wanted to meet you,she’s a grest fan,this is a surprise for her” The president said and Gregor nodded

“I’m sorry it’s just for that,but trust me it means the world to my daughter” The president said

“It’s fine,I want to meet her too” Gregor smiled

The president gsve sign to the guards standing In the living room,one of the immediately walked away and soon hr arrived with a lady in her early twenties

“Daddy!…..” She suddenly stopped when she saw Gregor,her eyes widened and she gasped out loudly

“Is that……Gregor Campbell?” She asked unbelievably

“Yes,surprise’ The president smiled and immediately she screamed out,rushing to Gregor who quickly stood up and she hugged him tightly

Gregor tried his best and hugged him back,she broke tge hug

“It’s really you,nice meeting you Gregor,I’m Penelope,the president’s first daughter” she said

“Nice meeting you” Gregor smiled

“Oh my gosh,your dimples” She gasped

The president stood up

“You two should talk,I have something important to do” he said and walked out while tge guards followed him

Penelope kept on talking about things Gregor doesn’t even Care about,his whole mind was somewhere else as she tried hard getting his attention

“Gregor??” She called after the silence

“I need to go home” Gregor stood up

“I’m going to see you again right?” She also stood up

“I’m a busy person…..”

“I don’t mind coming to your office” Penelope smiled and Gregor sighed

“So,expect me anytime” She winked and blew him a a kiss.

Gregor nodded and walked out,he was so tired from the busy day he had.

“Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!” Penelope screamed loudly

“Daddy!! You’re the best!!” She screamed out

GREGOR’S ISLAND

“You didn’t guess well this time Casey” Alex said after they finished the homework

“Daddy is not back” He added

Annabella helped them arrange their bags and they returned to tge bedroom

“Kids,its time to sleep” she said

“Bedtime story!” Alex and Casey chorused and fell on tge bed

“Right,so,I’m going to start from where I stopped,so tell me where I stopped the last time” Annabella said

“Where Goldilocks entered a cottage where no one is” Alex replied and Annabella smiled before she continued.

“Goldilocks smelled a wonderful smell, and soon knew why. On the table were three steaming bowls of oatmeal. All of a sudden she realized how very hungry she was.

What Goldilocks did not know, however, is that three bears lived in this house. In fact, that very morning the three bears had sat down to their bowls of oatmeal but the cereal was too hot. So they had decided to take a short walk. They said to each other, “By the time we return home our oatmeal will be perfect.”

Gazing at the steaming bowls of oatmeal, Goldilocks thought, “I’m sure whoever lives here won’t mind if I take just one sip.” She sat at the first chair and took a sip. “Ah!” she said, “it is too hot.”

Casey laughed

“She’s stealing” Alex said but Annabella continued

“She moved to the next bowl and took a sip. “Ah!” she said, “it is too cold.”

“That’s greediness!” Casey said

“She moved to the third bowl and took a sip. “It is just right!” And before she knew it, the oatmeal was all gone. Goldilocks rubbed her tummy. “I’m full! I must find somewhere to sit that’s more comfortable.”

She went to the living room. Three chairs were lined up in a row – one big chair, one medium-sized chair, and a wee little chair.

““I’m sure whoever lives here will not mind if I sit on just one chair,” said Goldilocks. She sat on the big chair, but it was too hard”

““The next chair looks good,” said Goldilocks. She moved to the medium-sized chair, but it was too soft.”

“Ahh!” Alex and Casey exclaimed and Annabella laughed before she started again

““The wee little chair looks better,” said the girl. She sat on the little chair and it was just right! But when Goldilocks leaned back a bit, the chair broke into a dozen pieces. She plopped right on the floor”

The twins laughed

“So i will be stopping here today kids,time to sleep” Annabella said and they pouted

“It’s past your bed time cuties,come on. We will continue tomorrow” She saud

“Goodnight nanny” They chorused and closed their eyes

She stroked their hair until they fell asleep and she walked out of the room

“He’s not back” Annabella muttered feeling worried about Gregor

Suddenly she heard some sound and she immediately went downstairs without thinking,the moment she got back go get sense and tried going upstairs again,The door opened and Gregor came in.

“Oh….Mr Bells” She called and immediately bowed

Gregor only stared at her tiredly and walked past her

Annabella bite her lips and went into the kitchen,she already promised Alex to feed him dinner so she’s going to just drop it anf leave.

After dishing out the food,she proceeded to his room and gently knocked the door but no response came. She slowly opened tge door and went in,she was surprised to see him laying on the bed

‘Is he okay?’ She thought and went to drop the food on the table

“Mr Bells?” She called and moved closer to him,his eyes were closed and she got more worried.

She moved her face closer to get a better views

She touched his head and he was so cold

“Mr…..” she stopped when Gregor opened his eyes

“I’m sorry!” She said loudly

Gregor grabbed her hand and her eyes widened

He pulled her to himself and she gasped

“Why is your hand so warm?” Gregor muttered and Annabella swallowed

Then slowly,he placed her palm on his cheek and Annabella froze In shock

“Stay still” Gregor muttered and then his eyes went shut on her palm.
