The party was ongoing,the large hall became more full,people having fun. It was all lively and everyone seems to be in good moods aside Stella. She was standing somewhere in the hall,a glass of wine in her hand,her eyes on Gregor and Penelope.

She was boiling with anger inwardly as she watched them,and to even worsen tge case,Annabella is with Thadeus. She’s been getting more recognition just in few minutes countless cameramen kept on going to her for her pictures.

“This is bullsh*t” she mumbled and dropped the glass In her hand,she stepped out of the hall and bumped into Theo and Jay,they also came for the party bit obviously doing their job at the same time

“Leaving already?” Theo asked

“None of your business” Stella snapped

“Oh,I guess you must be angry that you got ditched” Jay smirked and Stella glared at him

“Out of my way” She said

“Oops,sorry. You look pretty anyway,did the boss told you that?” Jay asked and Stella frowned

“Oh,I guess not. You can go” Jay smiled and moved out of the way so Stella passed

“That was crazy dude” Theo said and Jay laughed

“I know right?” He said.

“But I wonder why Annabella is with Thadeus,and the boss allowed that?” Theo asked

“I was wondering too…but maybe the boss doesn’t want to come with his kids nanny” Jay said

“That’s so not it,trust me” Theo muttered.

Back in the hall, Annabella watched as Thadeus got up from the seat. She didn’t know what was going on until he offered her his hand.

‘Huh?” Annabella muttered

“May I have the dance” Thadeus winked and Annabella chuckled

She looked around to see others dancing already to the slow music

“Of course…sure” She smiled and placed her palm on Thadeus’s own,he pulled her up gently,leading her to the dance floor.

Gregor saw them and he almost rolled his eyes but he didn’t

“Greg” Penelope called and he turned

“Let’s dance too,we aren’t gonna sit down here and watch everyone” She smiled

“Not in the mood” Gregor mumbled

“Not right now,I’m forcing you” She winked and got up first

Gregor sighed and also stood up,they moved to the dance floor and unfortunately they were close to Thadeus and Annabella.

Penelope wrapped Gregor’s hands around her waist and her own around his neck

“You’re so handsome” She said and Gregor let out a smirk

“You don’t like hiding your thoughts” He said and Penelope smiled

“Not in this situation,I’ve always wanted this” She said as they began moving in tone with the music sound

Annabella and Gregor’s met but then Gregor’s eyes traveled down to her waist that Thadeus was holding and he lost his appetite to dance immediately. Penelope followed his eyes and they landed on Annabella,she glared at her and Annabella looked away.

The president suddenly approached them with his guards

Gregor and Penelope stopped dancing and bowed in respect

“Mr Campbell….”

“Just call me Gregor” Gregor cut in and Penelope smiled

“I didn’t expect to see you here thank you for honoring my invitation” The president said

“It’s nothing actually,I’m glad I came here” Gregor said

The president looked at Penelope and she smiled

“I see you’re having a great time with my daughter” he said

Gregor nodded

“How about you come over? I can introduce you to few people” The president said

“I….”

“Let’s go Greg,I also want to introduce you to my friends,come on” Penelope said

“Okay” Gregor muttered and they both walked away with the president.

Annabella couldn’t help but to stare,seeing Gregor with Penelope and the way she was clinging unto him as if she owns him was more annoying

‘So she’s the president’s daughter?’ Annabella thought,still staring

“Anna?” Thadeus called amd she faced him

“Oh…I…”

“If you’re tired,we can just stop” Thadeus said and Annabella nodded

Almost immediately,two reported came over to them to interview them

“It’s our pleasure meeting you Mr Storm” One of them said

“Thank you” Thadeus smiled

“Can you please tell us who she is?? Your girlfriend?” They asked,looking at Annabella

Thadeus smiled

“Yes” He replied and Annabella’s eyes widened

“Wow,she’s so beautiful”

“Of course she is”

After a while,they left

“Thadeus,why did you tell them I am your girlfriend? Isn’t that a lie?” Annabella faced him

“I just said what came to my mind….”

“But still you lied,you know news from reporters spread easily,you shouldn’t have said that,I’m not your girlfriend” Annabella said

“I’m sorry…..”

“I need to use the restroom” Annabella cut in and walked out on him

Thaddeus sighed

“Why is she so angry about it” he muttered.

“Did you hear that? She’s Thadeus girlfriend,they just told the reporters” Some people passing said and Gregor looked up

He saw Annabella walking away and he immediately excused himself,he followed her.

“Gosh Annabella,what have you done?” She muttered as she find her way to the restroom,she stopped when she got to a door,she moved closer and checked. It’s the door that leads to the rooftop

“Thank goodness” She muttered and immediately entered,at least she will get some fresh air away from that place.

She moved close to the cliffs and held it

“Hmm” she inhaled the breeze blowing her hair around

“Why are you here?” A familia voice asked from the back and she immediately turned

“Mr Bells” She called and stood still

Gregor pushed his two hands into his pockets and started walking closer,he stopped in front of her and continue staring at her while Annabella stood there nervously.

“You two must be so close” He muttered and Annabella looked up

“Huh?”

“You introduced yourself as his girlfriend” Gregor said

‘No I didn’t’ Annabella imagined herself saying,but instead she kept quiet.

Gregor swept her hair from her face and tucked them behind her ear,Annabella looked into his eyes and they maintained the contact

“We should talk…when we get home” Gregor said and Annabella bashed her lashes

‘Is he finally getting me fired?’ She thought and immediately decided to speak up

“I…..”

“Greg” Penelope’s voice interrupted her and Gregor turned back

“What are you doing here? I’ve been looking for you” Penelope said,coming closer while glaring at Annabella

Thadeus also showed up

“Anna?” He called and Gregor looked at Annabella,she bowed shortly and immediately went out,Thadeus and Gregor exchanged contacts before Thadeus left with Annabella.

“Do you know that girl?” Penelope crossed her arms

“Yeah” Gregor mumbled

Penelope shifted closer and touched his chest

“Can I say something?” She asked and Gregor looked at her

“I like you” She smiled and Gregor scoffed

“Isn’t that normal?” He asked

“No it’s not,I know the difference between a normal like and the one I’m feeling Greg,I like you a lot” Penelope said and went on her toes,she started leaning closer and her lips almost touched Gregor’s own

“We should get back to the party,I will be leaving soon” He said,checking his wrist watch

Penelope frowned

Gregor let out a smirk and walled away

Penelope scoffed

“Hard guy..huh?” She muttered and followed him.

WRIGHT’S MANSION

Wright settled down on the couch in the living room,he turned on the tv and dialed Adam’s number.

A maid came to drop a glass of wine and snacks on the stool beside the couch

📞 OH LORD,AM I SAFE??
Adam said as soon as he answered the call

📞 WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
Wright chuckled

📞 WHEN DO YOU EVER CALL ME? I DO ALL THAT
Adam said

📞 THEN I’M BREAKING A RECORD

📞LEMME GUESS,YA BORED??
Adam asked

📞 YOU CAUGHT ME

Wright muttered,sipping from his wine

📞 I KNEW IT,YOU WILL NEVER CALL WITHOUT THAT REASON

Suddenly,the door bell sounded. Wright stood up and walked to the door,he opened and was surprised to see Melanie

She stood there while they stared at each other endlessly

📞 HEY,ARE YOU THERE??
Adam called

📞 LET’S TALK LATER
Wright said and hanged up

“What are you…….” before Wright could finish,Melanie hugged him tightly

“I….missed you” She muttered

Wright didnt hug her back even though she was holding him so tightly

After a while,she broke the hug and looked up into his eyes again

“I thought I might also go insane if I don’t see you tonight,I don’t know why I’m feeling this way…I just want to see you and hug you,I just….”

“You have a boyfriend” Wright said and Melanie swallowed

“Wright……..”

“Hugging another guy when you have a boyfriend……”

“I know I have a boyfriend,stop reminding me” Melanie snapped and Wright was quiet

“Don’t you miss me too? Huh?” She asked

“Melanie……you’re making things hard for me right now. Why would you come here when I’m trying so hard to stop my feelings….”

“Don’t stop” Melanie said and Wright raised his brows

“What?”

“Don’t stop your feelings for me,don’t. I don’t want you to….please” she muttered

Her phone started ringing at that moment and they both looked at the ID,it’s Lonnie

Wright scoffed

“Answer your call” he said

Melanie dropped the ringing phone on the couch and Wright looked at her,she held his shirt and pulled him closer before slamming her lips on his own.

Wright was shocked

She broke the kiss

“I mean what I said” She muttered and went for his lips again

Wright immediately grabbed her waist and deepened the kiss even more.

MADISON’S PLACE

Madison opened the entrance door and was surprised to see a dull looking Stella

“Stella?” She called and to her shock,Stella broke into tears

“What the f**k?” Madison muttered

“What happened?” She asked again and Stella began explaining to Ber

“What?? Gregor’s maid and Thaddeus??” Madison asked with wide eyes

“She took the spotlight Madison,Gregor didn’t even look at me for once….I’m so heartbroken” Stella said In tears

“She’s obviously a witch,how can a dirty poor maid like her be loved by everyone?!” Madison said angrily

“I’m getting rid of her,she’s going to regret ever showing up In Gregor’s life” Stella threatened

“Stop crying and let’s think of a perfect plan” Madison said

Stella wiped her tears and smirked

GREGOR’S ISLAND

Annabella laid down on her bed,face up. She was thinking about Gregor,he said they would talk tonight but now wondering if he still wanna talk to her. They returned home minutes ago,thanks to Maggie the twins were fast asleep before she even got home

‘What is he going to say?’ She couldn’t stop asking that question in her head.

When the knock came on her door,she jumped down the bed immediately and went to open revealing a maid

“The boss want you in his room” She said and walked away

“Here is it Annabella” She mumbled and exhaled.

She was about going out when she realized she was in her nightie,she wanted to pick a jacket but strangely she changed her mind and went out that way.

She got to Gregor’s door and knocked gently

“Come in” His sexy cold voice came and she went in

He was standing,sipping from a glass of what seems like a coffee,his one hand in his pocket while his back was turned on her

“I’m here” Annabella said and he faced her

He dropped the cup in his hand and continue staring at her as usual.

Meanwhile Annabella was busy playing with her fingers as she stood in front of him until he started moving closer.

Annabella looked up and quickly moved back,she was totally scared and nervous

“I asked you a question at the party” Gregor said and Annabella blinked

“What question?” She asked

Gregor caress her cheek softly and Annabella swallowed hard

“Do you like him?” He asked

“Thadeus?” Annabella asked and Gregor nodded

“It’s not what you’re thinking,I……” She stopped when Gregor leaned more closer to her face

“Mr Bells…..”

“I’m sorry,I can’t stop at this moment” Gregor said and Annabella wondered what he meant by that until suddenly he pulled her closer by the waist and a gasp escape her lips as her chest hit him

He didn’t give her another second to breathe before smashing his soft pink lips on her own.

Annabella’s eyes widened.
