DEEPLY IN ANGUISH
“Mommy!!!!” Alex and Casey called excitedly and began running to one of them.
Georgia couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the twins running happily to Annabella,ignoring her presence totally.
Casey and Alex hugged Annabella tightly the moment they got to her,Annabella looked at Georgia and smirked
“Sorry I should have told you,they don’t like being called kids,they prefer cuties” She said
Georgia fold her fists
Annabella kissed Casey and Alex on the cheeks after they Broke the hug
“Hey ma’am” Alex waved at Georgia
“What?? Ma’am?” Georgia was shocked and Annabella chuckled
Georgia moved closer to them and squatted in front of them
“Do you know who I am?” She asked
“Of course” Casey and Alex replied
“Who?” Georgia asked
“Our daddy’s ex wife” Casey replied and Annabella almost laughed
“Come on Casey,I am your mom. I gave birth to you not her” Georgia said
“We know,but our new mommy already promised us that she will never leave us,and besides daddy said she’s our mommy” Casey said
“I came back because I want to stay with you!!” Georgia half yelled and the twins moved closer to Annabella
“Miss Georgia,I won’t take it from you ,yelling at them like that” Annabella frowned
Georgia stood up
“Don’t think you’ve won Annabella,we will meet in court” Georgia said
Annabella smiled
“Looking forward to that….Georgia” She said and ordered the twins to get into the car which they did without argument. Annabella also entered and Georgia stood there,staring at the car till it was out of sight.
“Stop the car” Annabella said when they got to an ice cream shop and immediately Jay stopped the car.
“Mommy,what happened?” Casey asked
“Let’s get some ice cream” Annabella said
“Yeehhh!!” Casey and Alex screamed excitedly and Annabella smiled.
They all got down from the car while Jay waited inside
“Want some?” Annabella asked him
“Not a fan” Jay smiled
“Not necessary to be a fan,just try it out” Annabella saud
“Fine” Jay chuckled
She smiled and held the kids hands as they walked into the shop
“Wow,are they twins?” A lady asked almost immediately,admiring Casey and Alex
“Yes they are” Annabella replied
“They are so cute,you’re so lucky” The lady said
“Thank you” Annabella smiled
After getting the ice cream,they returned to the car,Annabella handed Jay’s own to him
“Take your time before you start driving” She said
“Alex let me try yours” Casey who was holding the vanilla flavored ice cream said to Alex as he was busy devouring the strawberry flavored one
“Why? You have yours” Alex said
“I know,just a try” Casey pouted
Alex filled up his spoon and fed Casey
“That’s more delicious than mine” Casey said
“Don’t do what you’re thinking” Alex said and Casey looked at him sadly
Annabella laughed
“Come on Casey,you choose the Vanilla yourself,let Alex enjoy his” She said
“I think I made a mistake” Casey pouted
Alex sighed
“You can have it” he handed his ice cream to Casey and her face brightened
She gave Alex her own and pecked his lips
“Hey stop it!” Alex shouted
Annabella and Casey laughed
“Oh please stop being dramatic,it’s a kiss” Annabella said
“I don’t like it” Alex scoffed
Casey kissed his cheek
“Casey!” Alex shouted again and Casey laughed
She continue kissing him on purpose and soon they both turned it to a play
“Geez” Annabella smiled watching them both
Jay started the car after a while.
Minutes later,they got home and everyone got down from the car but was welcomed by another shock. One of the guards was dragging Maggie out of the house
“Hey,what’s going on?” Annabella immediately interrupted and the guard stopped
“Welcome ma’am”
“I asked a question” Annabella snapped
“I found her inside the boss’s room searching all over” The guard said
“What?!” Annabella was shocked
“I also caught her making a call and telling the person some details about the house” Another guard said,raising up his phone and Annabella couldn’t believe her ears
“I knew she was a spy” Jay muttered
Annabella looked at Maggie who was avoiding her face
“Tell me it’s not true” Annabella said but she couldn’t reply
“So….it was you. Georgia.. Right!” Annabella asked and Maggie looked up
“Yes you’re right,I couldn’t just stay and watch you come from nowhere to take her position!” She said
Annabella walked closer to her and slapped her hard on the face,her hair scattered all over
“Then you can continue your job in h*ll” Annabella said and turned to Jay
“Call Gregor and explain to him,then call the cops on this bitch for theft and spying” She said
“Okay boss” Jay smiled
Maggie’s eyes widened
“You can’t do that to me!!” She shouted
Annabella smirked at her
“Let’s go kids” She said,going into the house
Alex and Casey waved at Maggie before following Annabella happily.
“Mommy is so amazing” Casey said
“She’s the best” Alex grinned cutely
Casey suddenly kissed his cheek and ran off
“Stop it!!!!!!” Alex shouted and ran after her.

IN THE CITY
Aurora was standing beside the road trying to board a taxi,she have been standing for almost ten minutes and she was getting impatient already until suddenly a car stopped in front of her.
‘Who’s this?’ Aurora asked inwardly then the glass was whined down revealing Thadeus Storm
Aurora frowned almost immediately as soon as she saw his face
“Hey,it’s dangerous standing here….”
“Being raped is the greatest fear in my life right now” Aurora cut him off and Thadeus raised his brows
“What??….”
“I’m saying,Mr Storm,I will rather die here than following you. This was the aame way you started with my friend,it’s not going to work on me” Aurora said and looked away
Thadeus sighed and instead of driving off,he got down from the car
Aurora frowned
Thadeus pressed something on his phone and then showed her to read it
Three dead bodies found a day before in the same pkace she’s standing,and they are all ladies
Aurora bashed her lashes as fear overshadowed her body
“Nothing is going to happen” She muttered
“Okay,bye,since you prefer death” Thadeus smiled and Aurora watched him getting into the car
She swallowed and bite her lips assuring herself that nothing will happen,but the moment Thadeus started the car
“Stop the car you idiot!!!!” Aurora yelled,running after him
Thadeus laughed and continue driving slowly while Aurora kept running after him and hitting the car
“I said stop this car!!”
“You wont stop?!!”
“Thadeus Storm!!”
“Stop the car!!!”
“Fine please stop the car!!!” Aurora cried out
Thadeus stopped the car and Aurora exhaled.
Thadeus opened the door for her and she entered,still breathing hard
Thadeus looked at her and she gave him one dangerous glare which made him look away
“Where are you going?” He asked
“You think I will let you take me home? So you can come in the night and force yourself on me?? Drop me where I can find a taxi” She said
Thadeus wanted to talk but he didn’t say a word,definitely she must be someone close to Annabella.
Aurora was staring out of the window the whole time,Thadeus stared at her for a minute before he started driving.

“Stella” Madison called the moment Stella was brought out of the cell
“Madison!!” Stella broke into tears
“How did it happen? How?” Madison asked,seeing all the scars on her face
Stella explained everything to her,tears rolling down her eyes
“That b*tch” Madison gritted her teeth angrily and held Stella’s hands
“I will get you out of here,I promise” She said and Stella nod her head
“And don’t worry,she will regret it. Today” Madison smirked
“What…do you mean?” Stella asked
“You will definitely hear about it,they are quite popular. The news will get to you” Madison smiled and Stella swallowed
“No one mess with my friend,trust me. She will go through what she made you pass through in a million folds” Madison said with a wicked smirk while Stella wondered what was happening but still she was happy that her friend got her back.

NIGHT≈ON A BRIDGE
“Wow look at that!!!” Cindy jumped dramatically as the fireworks started
Brandon glanced at her and smiled,staring at her intensely until she noticed and faced him
“What,why are you staring at me like that?” She asked
“Why so pretty?” Brandon asked and moved closer to her
Cindy bite her lips,trying to hide her flushed face
“The fireworks….they look pretty” she muttered
“No,I’m talking about you” Brandon said and she looked up,straight at his face
Brandon tucked her hair behind her left ear,staring at her more deeply
“I don’t think I can hide this anymore” He said,staring at her lips
“What?” Cindy asked
“Isn’t it obvious?? Or I’m being too forward??…..I’m in love with you Cindy” Brandon said and Cindy’s eyes grew wide
Did he just finally confessed to her??
“I don’t know how you feel about me,I know you’re not one of the usual girls,but can you just give me a chance to prove to you how much I love you?? I think I might go insane if I don’t say this right now,I’m madly in love with you Cindy” Brandon said
Cindy smiled and cupped his face in her palms,slowly she pecked his Lips
“Is that enough for an answer?” She asked
“No,I want to hear you say it” Brandon muttered
“I love you too Brandon,I do……” Before she could finish,he carried her and slammed his lips on her own
Cindy chuckled into the kiss and wrapped her legs around his waist as he ate her lips deliciously.
Cindy broke the kiss
“Let’s go to your place” she muttered
“You’re joking right?” Brandon asked
“More than serious” She winked
Brandon pecked her lips again and headed to the car,still carrying her.

GREGOR’S ISLAND
Gregor watched in silence as Annabella told her everything that happened today,from Georgia case and then Maggie.
“Today is such a bad day,I think we need a break,together with the kids” Annabella said after she concluded her story
“Really?” Gregor chuckled
“Of course,a vacation with the kids” Annabella said
“That’s not now,you need to start attending lectures as soon as possible,let’s do that when you’re settled completely and comfortable” Gregor said and Annabella nodded
She sat down on Gregor’s laps
“Are you planning on getting another secretary?” She asked
“I should……..”
“You’re getting a guy this time around” Annabella immediately interrupted
“Why……..”
“Don’t ask me why,you’re getting a guy and that’s it” She snapped and Gregor chuckled
“Fine,boss lady” Gregor said and smiled
“I don’t know how to go about it….Stella was supposed to make a presentation at the conference in two weeks time” Gregor said
“Don’t tell me it’s the one I’m seeing on TV” Annabella said and Gregor nodded
“Our company was nominated and she’s really good in things like that” Gregor said
“I will do it” Annabella said and Gregor looked at her
“What? You don’t believe me?? One of my dreams is becoming a media influencer,I’m not studying mass communication for nothing” Annabella said and Gregor chuckled
“I believe you,I just don’t want to stress you….”
“Of course you will pay me” Annabella winked and Gregor laughed
“Of course I would,so deal?”
“Yeah,I will come over to the company tomorrow after school” She said and pecked his lips
They were still like that when suddenly the door opened and Alex walked in.
“Mommy…” He called almost in a tiny voice and his words came out weakly
Annabella got up from Gregor’s laps
“What’s wrong Alex? Did something happened?” She asked worriedly,touching him
“Casey” Alex pointed out of the door
Gregor immediately stood up
“What’s wrong with your sister?” He asked
“I don’t know,she’s…..” Alex didn’t finish when Gregor ran out of the room,Annabella held Alex’s hand and followed Gregor immediately
They burst into the twins room and met Casey on the floor foaming from the mouth,her eyes closed
“Casey!!!!” Gregor and Annabella screamed at a time and rushed to her on the floor
Gregor immediately carried her and touched her cheek,she was so cold and fragile as he held her in his arms
“Casey look at me…please!!” He shouted but her eyes was shut
Annabella immediately dialed Jay’s number
“Jay get the car ready!!! Please!!!” She screamed in tears
Alex broke into loud tears
Gregor rushed out of the room with Casey in his arms
“Casey please open your eyes” Gregor kept on calling,tears falling out of his eyes already as he ran downstairs.
Annabella holding Alex’s hand tightly while they followed behind.
