I walked hurriedly to the parking lot of the Amusement Park. I got there and stopped immediately as I saw him.

I stared at him clearly surprised, i wasn’t only gone for few minutes and he turned to another girl.

A tear managed to slip from my eye, so all the k×sses we shared today meant nothing to him at all. Another tear slipped from my eyes.

I hurriedly wiped my eyes quickly and also the tear drops before I walked to where he was.

“Reece”.

He turned to me. “Nat, you done?”.

“Well I am but I can see you are not”. I said glaring at the girl.

She stretched out her hand for a handshake. “Hi, I’m Vanessa”.

“And I don’t care”. I retorted.

He looked at me. “Nat, is something wrong?”.

“Lets go, Reece”.

“Is she the girl you are talking about?”. The ‘Vanessa’ butted in.

“Oh wow, i can see that you’ve made me the subject of topic, how interesting”. I told them sarcastically.

Reece held my hand. “Come on, Nat. Lets go”.

“Looks like someone has a jealous side”.

I flared up. “What did you just say?”.

“Nat, stop it”.

He took me to the side of the car unlocking the doors.

“Bye Kingston”. Vanessa blew him a k×ss walking away.

I scoffed. “Kingston?”.

“Thats my middle name”.

“And why does she know it?”.

He sighed. “You know, Nat. You are being very annoying right now”.

“And now he calls me annoying”. I mutter to myself. “What a surprise”.

I opened the car door myself getting in, he then went to the other side of the car and got in the driver’s seat as he locked the car doors.

He didn’t drive the car, just sat there. I turn my attention to the window staring at the drizzling rain.

“Nat”.

He tried to hold my hand but I shrugged it away.

“I really see no reason why you are angry with me right now, did I do something wrong?”.

“I don’t know, Reece. Why don’t you go ask your girlfriend, Vanessa?”. I still faced the window.

“You are just overreacting, heck!! I don’t even know that girl”.

“Reece, just drive”.

“Are you jealous or something like that?”.

I let a scoff. “I’m not”.

“Then why are you acting this way? I didn’t k×ss the girl or anything like that unlike you went on k×ssing your so called best friend”.

I turn to him. “Really? So thats how its gonna be? Pin this one on me?”.

“I’m just saying the truth here, you left me running after Jeremy. How do you expect me to feel?”.

“Reece, he’s my best friend, i needed to be sure he was okay”.

“And thats why you left me hanging?”. He probed me.

“I didn’t leave you hanging”.

“You left me to go talk to some boy so you have no right to question my conversation with Vanessa”.

“That some boy is just a friend”.

“And Vanessa is just a stranger I met today, how about that?”.

I frown. “Drive the car”.

“I’m not driving till we solve this issue”. He remained adamant.

“What do you even want to know?”.

“Why are you jealous? We were just talking, having a friendly chat. Is not like I cheated on you or anything?”. He yells a little.

“We are not dating so don’t make it sound like we are because we are not”.

He paused. “Nat, you are right. We are not dating and you are not my girlfriend so why am I concerned about this anyways?”.

“Reece, i didn’t mean it that way. What I meant was__”.

He cuts me off bluntly. “I don’t wanna hear it”.

He put the key in the ignition starting the engine as he drove out of the parking lot in the pouring rain.

As he drove, i occasionally glanced at him but he didn’t even pay me any attention.

Natasha, you really need to shut your big mouth sometimes. He must be really angry with what I said but I didn’t mean it all.

If I wanted to have a boyfriend, i’d like the person to be Reece. He really is caring and affectionate but I ruined everything with my dumb attitude.

Gosh! Natasha. Take a chill pill, got it? Now how do I apologize to Reece?!! Man, this is gonna be damn hærd.

“Reece “. I called.

He gripped the steering wheel. “I’m driving, can I please focus?”.

“Reece, I’m sorry”. I blurted out.

He gripped the steering wheel even tighter not saying anything as his face was still in a frown.

This is definitely not going to work.

“Jeremy doesn’t get this angry with me, I should have accepted his proposal”. I mutter loudly enough for Reece to hear.

Reece screeched the car to a halt suddenly making me almost hit my head.

“Are you crazy?!!”. I yell at him.

He clenched his fists. “Jeremy proposed to you”.

Oh Boy!! It worked, he’s talking to me but he’s now more angrier.

“Well … “. I trailed off.

“I’m gonna kill that backstabbing bastard”. He cussed.

“What the heck?!! Reece, i was only kidding, you better not kill anyone”.

He glanced at me. “He didn’t propose to you?”.

“No”. I shook my head. “He only wished me good luck with my love life when I told him that he and I can never be together”.

“Stop toying with my emotions, Nat”.

He starts the car again driving even faster this time.

“Reece”. I pouted. “You said you can’t be angry at me but you are now”.

“I’m not angry”.

“Then why won’t you talk to me?”.

“I’m just disappointed that you don’t trust me enough with other girls”.

“I’m sorry”. I apologized again.

His frown dissolved into a small smile. “You are kind of right, Nat. I can never get angry at you and I’m beginning to think it might be bad for my health”.

I chuckled softly a little bit and turned to look outside the windows.

I gasped when I saw we were already going through the flower pathway that led to his mansion. And the trees, bushes, flowers or kinds of nature stuff were lighted up.

“It looks so r0mantic”. I gaped at the wonder we were passing through.

“Harley lights the house up this way, they must be back”. He muttered to himself.

“Who?”. I ask.

“No one”. He hurriedly reply.

He soon got to the gates of the mansion which was lighted up in gold lights. Even the rain gave it some designing effects.

He drove in through the gold gates which opened automatically. He stopped his car nearby a spluttering fountain and turned off the engine getting out.

I step out also. “So you couldn’t open the door for me?”.

“I only behave like a perfect gentleman around my girlfriend but since you said we are not dating, i guess you have to open the car doors yourself”. He replied.

I closed the car door shut still standing in the pouring rain.

“Are you still angry at me?”. I asked softly.

“Lets go in”.

“I’m not going in till you forgive me”.

He gr0×ned. “Nat, I’m not angry with you”.

“Reece, just tell me”.

“Okay fine, do you really want to know?”.

I nodded. “Yes”.

“I really don’t get why you were so angry with me over talking to Vanessa while some minutes ago, you left me for Jeremy”.

“Is that why you are angry?”.

“What the heck is with you and Jeremy?”.

“We are just best friends”. I said to him frustratingly.

“Oh really? Was that why you decide to put him over me today at the park?”.

“I just .. I don’t like Jeremy more than a friend”.

“Then I also dob’t like Vanessa, really? Is that what you think of me? Flirting with any girl I come across?”.

“I’m sorry I overreacted”.

“I am not like that, Nat and its breaks my heart knowing that you don’t know me at all”.

“I was jealous”. I blurted out.

He stops. “What?”.

“I was jealous that you would chose another girl over me and I’m so sorry for not trusting you, Reece”. I said amidst the rain drops falling on me.

He relaxes for a moment before pulling into a hug. I reciprocated the hug as he drew me closer to him.

“Its okay”. He patted my back.

I pulled away wiping the tears which drops on my cheeks.

“I also get jealous of you, Nat”. He says softly and It all became a fairy tale to me as if my heart stop beating.

He clears his throat. “Maybe we should get in,side before we get drenched by the rain completely”.

“Reece, thank you”. I tell him in a soft tone.

He furrowed his eyebrows. “For what?”.

“For everything, Reece. For always trying to understand me even though i’m always at fault”.

He cupped my cheeks. “I’ll always be there whenever you need me”.

“And thank you for making me feel this”. I continue.

He removed his hands staring at me. “I’m a little bit confused”.

“I never even thought once I would be able to fall in love with a guy after everything i experienced but you proved me wrong”. I tell him. “You proved me wrong, Reece”.

“Nat”.

I took a deep breath. “I like you, Reece”.

He smirked. “Just like? Is that all?”.

I let out a laugh. “I like you Reece. I really like you a lot”.

I notice his golden brown eyes shine bright as he pulled me in for a k×ss.

He k×sses me with profession, with love and the way our l-ips move together. It makes me feel like we are one, complete.

He pulls away. “How long have you been keeping this from me?”.

“Senior Year, months ago”. I blush a little.

“You really don’t know how long I’ve been waiting to hear that”.

“Well now I said it”.

He strokes my cheeks. “I like you too Nat. A lot than you can ever imagine”.
