Zeenat laid down on her bed, doing nothing.
Jamal walked in with his hands in his pockets, he walked towards her giving her a flirty look “what was that look for?” she asked as she adjusted herself to sit properly on the bed “I want to eat you up” he said to her “you can go to your fridge and eat” she said “but I want to eat you right now” he said again “Jamal if you are back to your old self, get out of my room, I have a boyfriend now!” she said while Jamal made a smirk “but you know I can take you away from him, Zeenat you know I can make fall in love again with me, I can make you forget about him, you know I can do that” he said as he moved closer to the bed, he knelt down on it as he moved closer to her trying to….
“Argh!!” she suddenly kicked him on his stomach making him gro-n “I told you to shut up, we are here to talk about you not for you to start spewing rubbish .
Now tell me exactly what happened that day?” she asked “you know that hurts” he said “it also hurt when I searched for you more than a year then, I thought you were dead, that really hurt me too” she said.
Jamal felt so guilty and at the same time sad “am sorry” he said softly “I am really sorry for leaving you even though I was the one who told you not to leave me I ended up being the one who left you; am so sorry” he said to her.

Zeenat didn’t know what to say, all she did was stare at him with few drops of tears on her face. Jamal moved closer and hugged her warmly “am so sorry for leaving you back then, am really sorry” he said to her as he patted her back softly…

Jamal drove roughly into the hospital, both him and Axel quickly dashed out of the car running into the hospital.
They both entered the doctor’s office “oh you are here” the doctor said to them “where is my mum? What happened to my mum!” Jamal asked “no..its ok, she is ok now so sit down ….she is better now so sit down please” the doctor said to them while they both sat down to listen to the doctor “actually I think we have to perform another operation on her” the doctor said “again?!” Jamal asked “yeah again” the doctor replied sadly.

Both Jamal and Axel sat beside Jamal’s mum who was asleep, they wanted to wait for her till she wakes up. Jamal stared at her in her sleep while Axel was just with his headset pressing his phone but also paying attention to Jamal at the same time.
Suddenly, Jamal’s mum woke up, Jamal sat up right looking at her while Axel removed his headset “Mum can you hear me?” Jamal said trying to make her talk to him “J….Jamal” his mum called his name but in a tiny tone like a whisper “yes mum it’s me” Jamal said “Ax..e..el” she called him too, he also stood up to her “ yes ma’am” Axel answered “how are you feeling now mum?” Jamal asked “am ok, where is your dad?” she managed to talk “he told me that he is having a meeting, am sure he should be done by now, do you want me to call him?” Jamal said while his mum nodded her head in reply.
Jamal smiled at her as he moved towards her giving her a peck on her cheek.
He made a phone call to his dad, the phone was on loudspeaker so that everyone of them could hear him “Hello Jamal how is your mum?” his dad said from the phone “she is better, she asked me to call you, she wants to talk to you” he said to his dad “dear how are you, how are you feeling now, you are making us worried, you are making your son worried too so get better soon huh! We all want to see you healthy ok?” he said softly “o..ok” she replied weakly “Jamal where is Axel?” his dad asked “ hi sir” Axel greeted “ oh Axel how are you?” he said “am fine sir” Axel replied “I will finish the meeting very soon, actually we are done with it, just that Badmus and few of us want to have lunch together at Badmus’s house” his dad said “so are you in Badmus house?” Jamal asked “yes we are there, just me, Maverick’s dad, Ivan’s dad and Earl’s dad also we are all together right now and to tell you the good news, we already won that contract!” his dad said happily “oh! wow! that sounds amazing, so you all are sharing the money now?” Jamal asked “exactly son, we have been trying to get this money for a while now and thank God we got it” his dad said “what are you eating, you sound like you are enjoying yourself over there” Jamal said with a smile “yeah sure! Some meal to celebrate the money, son thank you! For taking care of your mum, you are the best son but I want you to remember one thing, try to help people, be nice to people because time may come when you will also need their help and for your enemies, never forget them, never allow them to walk over you, Axel can you hear me? And also I want you guys to be one, don’t ever betray each other, don’t ever betray yourself, a betrayer should not be given the chance to survive and lastly be watchful of your enemies because they can come from anywhere to attack you and do not forget to always take good care of your mum ….Axel am talking to you….also do not forget to take care of your mum” Jamal’s dad said “dad we heard you…….

Suddenly his dad and the other men started coughing “dad, whats going on? Dad! Daddy!!” he called out but he couldn’t hear anything from the phone, only their gro-ns and coughing…..
“t…this food is …p…poisoned” they heard Ivan’s dad said…

Suddenly someone walked in “Badmus, …yo..you poisoned us” Jamal’s dad asked “what were you guys thinking, we have been chasing that money all these while, common! We are talking about a billion dollars right now! I want you guys to close your eyes peacefully so that I can enjoy the money alone “I should have figured out that you were a devil when you asked us to come over to your damn house” Jamal’s dad said
“Don’t you see am smart” wow! am a genius you know, I have been planning how to get you guys and in a way you all won’t notice anything and am glad this shit worked out for me and who knows maybe you guys were also planning to do something to me but I got to be smart so I had to make the first move wow! Am so good in this.
Don’t worry I will try to give your dead bodies respect and make sure to clear it off in a good way so you don’t have to worry about that right now. All your boys are gro-ning outside, you all have to meet in haven and watch over me while I get to spend the money myself …hahaha!!!”

He laughed out wickedly “am ..sorry J….Jamal…” that was his dad’s last statement.

Jamal’s face and eyes were all red as he was dripping in his sweat and tears on his face, Axel was calm but his face was filled with anger as tears dropped on his face.

“wait! This bastard was on call, check who he was talking to” Badmus said to one of his boys “boss! He was on call with his son” the boy replied “well give me the phone, did you hear everything?” he said “ I heard everything and I recorded the wh0le conversation, I swear on my father’s name that I promise to make you pay for this” Jamal stated firmly word by word which was full of anger “you are a bastard!” Jamal exclaimed “boy you need to save yourself only right now” Badmus said “I know your next move, you are going to send you boys after me, you should give it a trial but I promise you that you are going to regret this” Jamal said as he hung up the call breathing heavily.
“j……ja…jamal yo…” his mum struggled to talk “mum don’t worry about……mum! Mum!
His mum started breathing heavily trying to hold Jamal at the same time “MUM! MUM! MU…..MUM!” he called out but unfortunately she stopped breathing.
“Mum! Mum!” Jamal called out as tears gushed out his eyes while Axel was lost in tears, he couldn’t move or do anything “mum please open your eyes, Mum! Jamal cried bitterly as he hugged his mum………

Jamal drove into their compound, him and Axel jumped out of the car as they both ran in,side the house.
Jamal ran into his dad’s room while Axel ran into Jamal’s room, they both ran out of the house rushing into their car as they zoomed off quickly.
Immediately they left, Badmus’s boys came in but Jamal and Axel where nowhere to be found….

Flashback ended👆

Zeenat was speechless, she couldn’t say anything after Jamal narrated the wh0le story to her, she stared at him “but…but Jamal, how come that Ryan doesn’t get you guys all these while, how do you do that?” she asked “actually it’s only my face they know, they don’t know the other boys, the other guys are going out to work because knows them except for me and this is how I go to town; follow me” he said to her while they both stood up and went to Jamal’s room.
He opened his wardrobe for her to see, there was a golden necklace in it, there wasn’t any cloth in the wardrobe except for the necklace.
“is it what am thinking?” she asked “yes of course, I become invisible when I put it on and no one is going to see me, if I put it on right now you won’t be able to see me so it’s what I use to go out for operations if we are to deliver or take in our stuff” he replied “so only you go to operations?” Zeenat asked “exactly and that why Ryan is not able to get me all these while. When I was introduced to this, I didn’t want to trust it at first but now it’s really working.
And the reason why Ryan can’t also get out location is because of this necklace, even if I send him the location of this house he still won’t get us. But the moment this necklace dropped down on the floor, he is going to locate us” he replied.
Zeenat just stared at him, she seem to be speechless “what if I tell Ryan about this, you are telling me your secret you know that” she said while Jamal just smiled.
I am going to release you tomorrow so you can do whatever you want but am sure you can’t tell him anything, you should know that I trust you more than that” he said with a smile….

On the rooftop of was Earl, he has his computers, binoculars, phones and headset “guys are you ready?” he asked “yes we are” Ivan replied. Maverick, Ivan and Axel’s car were parked in front of the hotel but little bit far away from the hotel “I am going to call him now and I will direct him to the car” Earl said.

Ivan was the one driving, Maverick beside him while Axel at the back sitting with his headset.
They all came to the hotel that Badmus’s son lodged with his family.
Earl grabbed his binoculars to view straight to the hotel that was a bit far from the hotel. He view it to be sure because their window was opened so he was able to see everything going on there.
He made a phone call to him, Badmus’s son picked it up “I can see you are having fun with your daughter and your wife is watching the TV right now, I give you five minutes to step out of that suite and if you try to make any alarm I promise to kill your wife and your kid on the s₱0t so kindly walk out of that room and make sure that none of your guards follow you; your time starts now!” he hung up the call before Badmus’s son could utter any words.

He was shocked, he slowly stood up and went out of the suite, he met Logan and two other guards outside “do you need anything sir?” Logan asked “no no no! Don’t worry, I don’t need anything, I just want to take something from outside, you can just watch my wife” he said “but sir we need to……” “and I said am ok! Stay with my family!” he said firmly “ok, sorry sir” Logan said while he walked away from them.
He got outside the gate, he saw the car and went closer to it.
Maverick made a smirk and gestured him to enter the car and as he was about to open the door “guys Logan is coming” Earl quickly alarmed. Maverick jumped out of the car and pushed Badmus’s son into the car then he quickly entered too while Ivan drove away speedily before Logan and the other guards could approach them…

“You crazy man! I told you to come in,side and you just stood there, anyway hi Mr. Badmus’s junior” Maverick said to him with an evil smirk.

He looked at Maverick and Ivan who were busy driving then he noticed Ivan beside him holding a gun. Axel raised his head up with a smirk on his face “what’s up” he said to him before Mr. Badmus’s son could know what’s going on, Axel hit him with the gun on his head and he collapsed almost immediately….
