CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: DARKNESS
Elia remain seated on Alexander bed while listening to his shower running, different thought swirl in her mind, what is he planing, will he touch me just like he did in my dreams, do I really want his hands on my body? What if he rape me? Is he capable of such?
Elia swallow, tension engulfing her wh0le body, confusion could be seen in her eyes if anyone is to look at her at the moment, Lucian will soon climb through my window and won’t find me.
Will he wait?
Why am I sitting waiting for my death to step out of the bathroom, I know fully well that what is about to happen will not be for my good and it freaks me out.
The bathroom door open revealing Alexander, a towel tied round his wa-ist, hair w-t, water dripping down ” hmm, I was expecting you to have run away” smiling he move to his closet and I have to lower my head when he take off his towel.
This man is shameless.
” master ” I mumble ” can I go now, mother will be worried ”
” hmm” he said nothing other than that, staying still for three minutes and heard nothing I decide to lift my head only to meet his burning gaze, his face one inch from mine, one more push and we will k-ss.
Staying shock I couldn’t move, his l-ips form into a smile ” don’t worry Elia, I don’t plan on touching you neither do I plan on raping you ” he hold my hand ” come ” dragging me with him I finally notice what he is putting on…it doesn’t make any different from all what he has worn before, black trouser and shirt again, why doesn’t he wear other clothes.
” master, where are we going?” I asked but he didn’t answer, the wh0le mansion quite which means the maids must have gone home, we move to the backyard, a door right there, a door lady morin ask us never to open.
Alexander open the door, a bright light blind my vision but Alexander seem to be seeing very well, I still don’t understand what we are doing here ” master ”
” close your eyes ”
Doing as he said I tighten my grip around his hand and follow him gently, the sound of the door closing behind us made me flinch ” open ” opening my eyes I close them back, blink then try opening again and this time my mouth is wide open.
This place is horrible.
Horse eating each other, humans battling for who is more stronger and the other feast on the weak one, hearts, lungs, all the part you can think of is being eaten ” what is this?”
Alexander chuckle ” calm down Elia ” looking up at him, he is smiling, how can he smile at such a thing, I watch him whistle, a white horse swiftly appear at his side, holding me by the wa-ist he place me on it then sit behind me ” let me show you something Elia, what humans truly are when given strength or may I say cursed ”
“No, I don’t want to see more of this ” I growl ” how can you set this up, a war behind your house!”
” don’t be foolish ” he growl ” a war can’t happen behind my mansion, the lands aren’t huge enough for that ” he smile ” what we just pass through is a portal, a portal leading to one of the many wars my men have fought ”
” what do you mean ”
” Giles did mention that girls love seeing something special ” Alexander smile ” you were expecting flowers, garden, beautiful environment ” he chuckle silently ” all those are stupid desires, here I show you something rare, something that humans hærdly see ”
” what do you mean ”
” a horrified war ” looking around the wh0le place I watch as they fight with strength, putting all their strength in what they are doing, putting their lives on the line.
” why ” I glance back and look at him ” why will you let these people die so that you can fulfil your wishful thinking, these people have lives ”
” stupid ” he hit the back of my head gently but it hurt ” they are fighting for their family, didn’t you study history correctly, the great war of Hang” my eyes w¡den when he mumble that, it is written that the Victorians fought like animals tearing each other skin from the enemies when they had no hand to lift their sword.
The great war of hang, the warriors are legend till date and am experiencing what really happened ” but how? ” I frown ” all these happen years back, far before I was born ”
” is that so ” Alexander chuckle shaking his head ” of course. You won’t understand the use of magic”
” what are you saying ”
” we are heading back ” he turn around and am left thinking ” don’t push yourself Elia” he jump off the horse and help me down ” you won’t ever solve the puzzle ”
” what puzzle, they is no puzzle ” I growl when we pass through the door once again ” why did you show me such a horrific thing? Is that what you like, fighting? Killing people? ”
” yes ” he move towards the wolves cage and bend down, staring at them ” that is what is special to me, killing, my life is fill with killing” his face once again turn void ” my life is fill with darkness Elia ”
” why are you telling me all this?”
Elia struggle to understand this man, what is he trying to say? Why show me such a thing when he knows it will push me further away from him, make me want to run from darkness, the one thing I could never stand is darkness.
” because you will soon be part of my life Elia ” he title his head to my direction” I like you Elia and I want you to know who I am…though I won’t permit you to run even if you want to ” standing up he move to my direction, his both hands on my wa-ist, he lean close and whisper ” am human” he chuckle softly ” a dead one ” and then he continue laughing.
He find this funny?

Lifting my hand up to slap him he caught it mid air leaving me confuse as to when he move his hand from my wa-ist ” do you think you can change me Elia? Do you think you have what it takes? ” Alexander furrow his brows ” do you think you have it in you to change me or I will change you ”
” why will I wish to change you when all you deserve is death ” I growl, his expression didn’t change ” for all the people you have killed, you need to die, you need to feel death ”
” and you think I haven’t felt death ” his expression void ” do you think I haven’t feel something more than death?” He let go of my hand ” like i said Elia, you are mine, today was fun…it was the first time in centuries I smiled so freely but that doesn’t change who I am ” he shoot me a glance ” you can’t run from me Elia, you are mine and you have to accept it…I will never let someone else touch what’s mine, not now, not ever ” and with that he walk away.
” you said you will spank me” what am I saying, do I wish to be spanked ” have you lost the nerve master ” this however made him stop, he chuckle loud.
” lose my nerve ” he flash me a smile ” oh I plan on spanking you Elia but not tonight, you have a lot to think about before I touch you again, take your time and believe me when I said none is forgiven ” his voice calm” I will spank you alright and trust me, you won’t enjoy it…go home for now ”

CHAPTER NINETEEN: APPEARANCE OF ZULU 1
Elia arrive home really late, mother and jack look really worried that I feel bad, sitting down on the couch I listen to her questioning ” where were you Elia random ” hearing my full name from her l-ips I know she is angry.
” I went on a date mother ”
” since when do you go to date without my permission Elia ” mother growl ” you are just eighteen, still too young to be thinking of men ”
” I know mother ” looking down I bite my lower lip then mumble ” the date was with my boss, he lend me the money for a date with him ” looking up I stare at her shocked reaction.
” your boss?”
” yes mother, he said he likes me ” smiling I purred on ” he said he will like to meet you and jack some day ”
” that is surprisingly ”
” I know mother ”
” that doesn’t mean you will come home this late, I train you better than this Elia ”
” sorry mother ”
” as your punishment, you are not allowed to go to any date, from work I want you home ” nodding my head she exhale ” I need you to be careful, men are Scarry…you should have learnt your lesson by now ”
” I have and I haven’t forgotten ”
” your food is on the table Elia, eat and go to bed ”
” thank you mother ” moving to the dining table, I pull out a chair, sit, eat then move to my room knowing fully well that Lucian is right there ” you went on a date? ” of course he heard us, what do I say now.
” yes ”
” with whom ” he stand to his feet, those red eyes watching me with full attention, he isn’t happy, shutting my room door I glare at him ” lower your voice Lucian ”
” who took you out ”
” my boss ” mumbling I lose my hair from the high ponytail ” he says he likes me ”
” do you like him ?” Averting my gaze from the mirror back to him I shake my head ” no Lucian, I hate him, he is cruel” mumbling I sit on the bed, sadness engulfing me, what will happen to Evelyn now?
Alexander mention that he raped girls that annoyed him, will he rape her? Can he result to such a thing ?
” hmmm” Lucian said nothing else as silence fall between us and I realize that I don’t know how to act around Lucian, with Alexander I have a lot of questions to ask and they is never a boring moment but right now am just speechless, tired and need some sleep before tomorrow work ” Elia?”
” yes” looking up at him I could feel my cheek redden from how close his face is to mine ” are you shy around me?”
” no ”
” do you like me being here?”
Nodding my head I smile ” yep, you have this calm air around you, it makes me relax ” smiling I watch him touch my face gently.
” do I look like a kind person to you Elia?”
” what do you mean?”
” nothing ” he chuckle and step back ” I can see you’re tired, are you feeling sleepy, I can go home now if you wish ”
” oh no ” holding his hand I stop him ” I want to learn more about you, why you have fangs and why you believe that your heart is mine ‘
” that’s a lot Elia ” he remain quite ” I don’t think I have answers to why I have fangs, the gods created me that way ”
” so you’re human?”
” what did you think?” He inch one brow up ” a monster ”
” oh no, I will never think of such” standing up I move closer to him and hug him ” you’re a good and kind human, that am sure of ”
” thank you ” with that I withdraw back, he doesn’t look happy tonight and am left wondering what’s wrong ” are you okay Lucian?”
He shake his head then nod ” I am Elia” even after saying that his face is void, like he is in serious thinking ” I have to go, some serious work just came up ” he move close and give my l-ips a quick k-ss, its the fist time our l-ips touch each other.
I feel weird but with Alexander it seem right, like that’s what I should be doing but I know I hate him so why do my body react differently? ” I have to go ” I watch him jump through the window and am still left wondering how a normal human can do that, he swiftly run to his car, his wh0le expression changed.
And then I realize, they is more to this Lucian than it meet the eye.
The Next day Alexander is seen sitting in a coffee shop with Giles as they discuss ridiculous things just like he will put it” you never change ” Giles chuckle ” did you plan on scaring the living hell out of her ”
” she should get use to it, the war is close anyway ”
” have you reveal what you are yet?” Giles voice fill with curiosity, of course this bastard wants to know everything but do I have enough patience to say everything.
” No ” I shrug ” at least I told her am a dead human ”
” what’s that suppose to mean?”
” you know fully well what I am and leaving it for her to figure out is interesting, it will stir up her curiosity and she will try all her best to discover who I am”
” you’re such a confusing man, I myself find it hærd to understand you”
” I have heard that a lot ” Alexander sigh ” surely am not all that unreadable, if only you pay attention, you will be able to read me ”
” I don’t need that ” Giles shake his head ” I have women who will appreciate my mind reading techniques ”
” hmm”
” have you read the letter Anna gave to you ”
” No, if its related to my father then its irrelevant to me ” growling I sip my coffee ” I want nothing to do with that old man ”
” the black dragon clan is in danger Alexander ” Giles tone suddenly turn serious ” this may be ridiculous but your father might need your help, you helping your clan may show them you are far greater than your father even if you’re not a dragon ”
” hmmm”
” or the letter may mean something else, something to stir anger in your body ” Giles giggle ” all these new events seem to be really catching for me, marvelous! ”
” you will be foolish to think I will help that back stabbing clan, they can all go to hell, I don’t give a damn about them ”
” so you will be happy if Zulu is to die?” Hearing his words I stop, everything around me literally stop moving.
Zulu? Have she returned ?
” what do you mean ” frowning Giles shrug.
” I heard she has returned to town, looking for you I suppose ” clenching my fist I frown, I can’t let anything happen to her.
No body will touch what is under me!
” so what do you say Alexander ” Giles mumble ” are you going or not ”
” that shouldn’t concern you Giles, I do what ever I want to do ” this however made him laugh, I have known Giles from childhood, he isn’t the type to lie, if he says Zulu is in town then she is in town.
The need of watching conflicts between people is what motivate Giles with lots and lots of energy to fight, they don’t call him the demon of mischief for nothing.
” being brothers with you sure is interesting!” Giles chuckle while I frown, this news he brought me will cause me to be away from Elia for three days…I will miss her but Zulu is too important to me, I can’t let harm come to her.
” the feeling is mutual ” I mumble before sipping my coffee, what a interesting day if you ask me…I may take Elia with me, that way she will stay by my side and see the horror of wars.
She can’t be innocent forever.
