CHAPTER TWENTY TWO: TRIP TO THE OTHER SIDE 3( APPEARANCE OF ZULU 4)
Elia walk beside Alexander as they step into the palace, the place is huge ” where are we Alexander? ” looking up to him he said nothing, the expression on is face is that of anger, is he angry.
We walk quietly on the hallway before finally arriving in a room, he open the door and step in ” take off your clothes Elia, I don’t want you to catch cold ” he mumble, unbuttoning his shirt but since I didn’t move a muscle he furrow his brows at me ” do you need the maids to help you out?”
” what?”
” the servants here” he repeat and I roll my eyes ” I need you to give me space Alex, am not going to change right in front of you ”
He inch his brows high ” why not?”
” I don’t like you enough to do that ” what I said seem to ginger him more, he take off his clothes and I have to avert my gaze, when he is done I return my gaze to his direction, black trouser and blue long sleeves, the colour suit him.
Instead of him moving away he sit on the bed and grin ” hurry up Elia, we don’t want to miss breakfast ”
” am not hungry ”
” either am I ” he smile ” but I must say, I really want to see you take off your clothes or I will help you out ” frowning I move to the closet and surprisingly, women clothes are here but why are they so short.
Pulling a short blue dress out I furrow my brows at him ” they believe that their women should look s€×y”he grin. moving to the bathroom I step in and shut the door, looking around I gasp at how huge it is, the bath tub is really huge.
” hurry up Elia”
Taking off my clothes I quickly change into the short blue dress, at least it cover my arse and some of my th-gh, advantage of being short, I mean average height ” Elia ”
” am coming ” opening the bathroom door I step out and place my hands behind me ” do I look good ” he stand to his feet and move closer, he lose my pony tail, pick up a brush from the table and brush a hair down a little bit ” and this ” he lean close bite my lower lip and k-ss my cheek, making them a little red ” now let’s go ”
” why did you do that, I look flushed, like we just have s€× ”
” that’s the idea sweetheart ” he smile ” am marking my territory, they are lots of bastards around here ”

Rolling my eyes I take in my environment, the servants bowing their head as Alexander walk by, who is he really? ” Alex?”

” why are they bowing to you?”
” am their master ” he look at me, stop walking then whisper ” they accepted me to do whatever I want to them and when I say whatever, I mean whatever ” he squeeze my arse, swift and quick before holding my hand and dragging me with him.

We finally arrive at a huge hall, he didn’t hesitate to push open the door, I stare at the huge and long table with different meal placed on it ” Alexander! ” Anna run towards his direction and hug him ” you truly came ”
” what do you think Anna, unlike some people am a man of my word” Alexander grin while I look at the huge man sitting on the table looking angry and annoyed, that must be the head of the house.
” stop right there Alexander ” Anna giggle then her gaze move to me ” and who is this? Is she the one stealing you from me?”
” shut up Anna” Alexander pull me with him as he move to the table and sit down graceful, I sit next to him, feeling out of place completely, Giles is not seated here which means he isn’t part of this family.
I look around and stare at the woman sitting next to the huge man, she has blue eyes and long dark hair, so young and beautiful ” how have you been Alexander? ” she asked
” what do you think mother or may I say Josephine” Alexander furrow his brows ” did you expect me to die? ”
” she asked you a simple question” the huge man growl and Alexander just chuckle ” listen Fedor, I didn’t come here to forgive or talk out our misunderstandings, am hungry and they is someone I will Like to meet” Alexander shove the meat into his mouth ” I also heard that a war is coming and the great Fedor is powerless”
” and this person you are going for is Zulu?” The other man sitting there mumble, he has blue eyes and brown hair ” is that why you show up huh, big brother ”
” you know for a small boy as yourself, you sure talk a lot Jeffrey”
” am one thousand years old, is that small for you?”

Elia remain still not sure if she is to talk or eat, all this argument going on in this family is making me nervous ” is she human?” Jeffrey gasp out of surprise ” you brought a human here?”
” oh my god” Josephine cover her mouth, they all look shocked expect Alexander who is still eating patiently and the truth is that am scared, I just want to get out of here.
Alexander turn his gaze to my direction, he look at me then smile ” go on and eat Elia ” nodding my head I cut a little piece of meat but before I could eat Fedor hit the table making me to flinch and the food falling from my hand.
” do you plan on staining my kingdom with human blood ” he growl and Alexander seem more persistent in angering this man ” bringing a human here?”
” shut up Fedor ” Alexander growl ” when ever you point finger at her do it with respect, that is my woman you are talking to ” he stand up and so did i, he didn’t hold my hand before I did, trying to calm him down.
” let go ” he look down at me ” please ”
Alexander turn around and walk out of the dining hall ” that wasn’t how I expected it to go Elia ” he asked as we move down the hallway ” was that frightening for you?” I nod my head still confuse why he brought me here.
” what are they ”
” dragons, stupid dragons that will die in the approaching wall if they don’t beg for my help ”
” who is Zulu”
” someone ” I didn’t ask further because it seem like he doesn’t want to talk about this person.
Changing the topic I mumble” that is your father which means you’re a dragon ” Alexander chuckle then shake his head ” am not a dragon Elia, stop thinking too much, come with me, I will take you to a place where you can relax ”
Alexander arrive in the library and just like he expected her to be thrill she is ” this place is so huge, when do I finish the books ”
” centuries to come”
” I will definitely be old and not able to read by then ” Elia giggle as she climb the ladder looking for the perfect novel ” Alexander? ”
“Hmmm”
” can you please move closer ” moving close towards her she took me off guard as she fall from the ladder and I swiftly caught her in my arms, my hands tighten around her wa-ist as she giggle ” you trust me now huh ”
” I don’t ” letting go of her I stare st the book in her hands ” Lucifer obsession? ” she nod her head happily.
” this will be my second time reading this book, their love was so magical, he fought hærd for her to love him back though”
” you want me to do the same?” That got her, she frown ” of course not, you don’t even love me and he, this Lucifer was obsessed about her ”
” hmmm” i watch her move close to a chair sit on it and start reading, moving close to her, I stand behind her and whisper into her ears ” if they is any other word greater than obsession that’s how I feel about you ” she turn her head and stare at me ” sometimes you make me feel insane, so insane that I want to lock you from the outside world and have my way with you ” her eyes w¡den from shock and I giggle” am joking about locking up but the other part are real” k-ssing her gently I withdraw ” I like, love and hate you….you make me feel different things and that haven’t happen for a really long time ” k-ssing her again, she gasp and I bite her lower lip ” continue reading, I have somewhere to be right now, come to our room when you’re done ” she nod and with that I walk away but before leaving I swear I saw a real smile on her face and then she cover her face and shake her head.

Elia couldn’t stop reading even if she wanted to, the love, magic and everything in the book was a lot and interesting, if only these exist in real love, if someone can love me this much will be nice ” milady?” Hearing that voice I look up and stare at Giles who is sitting down, hands on the table while he study me.
” how long have you been here?” Asking he giggle then relax on the chair.
” its been awhile milady” he smile ” I mean only your expression while you were reading was worth it ”
” why are you here Giles?” I won’t like, this man has a strange feeling emitting from his body and it freaks me out, I do not like smiling and cunning men like him.
” I heard you didn’t eat so I brought you food, Alexander ask me to look after you while he head out for some business ” Giles push the tray of food towards my direction, looking at him I furrow my brows then look around me only to notice its already late, how did I read up to the time.
” I have to go “I try standing but I couldn’t, looking at Giles I find him smiling.
” I won’t harm you Elia, I said eat your food while we chat ”
” okay ” when I could finally move I grab the cup then gulp down the juice before opening the plate fill with chicken and start eating, I won’t lie it taste good.
” are you interested in knowing where Alexander might be?”
Thinking about it I shake my head ” No ”
” and why is that ”
” because if he wish to tell me something he will ” I mumble.
“Hmmm” dropping the plate I look at him ” you trust him, I see ” suddenly the atmosphere around him become light ” then I won’t tell you about Zulu”
” Zulu?”
” yes Zulu ”
” who is Zulu ” watching my reaction he chuckle softly.
” Zulu is someone special to him Elia, I don’t know if he likes you the way he likes her ” Giles stand to his feet ” Zulu was his life, I can say she was his only reason of living but then you show up, seeing him so interested in you I want to know, I want to know who he will choose between you two”
” they is no choosing between us Giles” I stand to feet ” Alexander and I are just friends and nothing more, excuse me ” turning around I realize I have no idea the direction to my room ” I need you to take me to my room, I have no idea the location of it ”

Alexander walk into the room late at night, Zulu sure knows how to hide, I haven’t even find her, tomorrow is another day of searching that stupid girl, she knows how to stress the f-ck out of my life.
” welcome ” hearing Elia voice I look at her brushing her hair and putting on a night dress ” this is the only dress I could find after having my night shower and I was thinking ” she drop the brush and stand up ” I will sleep on the floor so that you can stay on the bed, you look tired ”
Not saying anything I move to the bathroom have my bath, everything seem so strange and I haven’t really think things straight, Zulu acting so secretive is strange, she always try finding me so that I won’t stress but now her hiding is suspicious.
Someone might have captured her.
Being the last of her kind is enough reason for people to be after her, I do trust her strength but I can’t just rely on that alone.
Walking out of the bathroom with a towel wrap around my wa-ist, Elia is sitting down on the bed, still holding that book in her hand reading, lights t-rn on, looking down I stare at blanket and a pillow ” you know ” she look at me ” I was expecting you to be a gentle man and decide to stay on the floor but you weren’t so I took it upon myself to tell you that you’re sleeping on the floor ”
” no way ” putting on my underwear I gently lay on the bed, she frown ” we can both share the bed Elia, like two adults ”
” I don’t think so ”
” and why not?” Furrowing my brows I collect the book, close it and drop it on the drawer next to her ” are you scared you might molest me, try raping me later?”
” you’re the who might do that not me” she growl before I off the lights ” what are you doing? ”
” trying to sleep Elia, today have really been a stressful day for me and tomorrow still will ”
” looking for Zulu?” Looking down at her, I watch how angry she look when she mumble Zulu ” who is Zulu to you Alex ”
” a friend of mine Elia ” withdrawing she t-rn on the light and I sit on the bed, she doesn’t look happy at all, what is she thinking ” don’t tell me Giles told you silly things ”
” he didn’t, I just didn’t expect you to be crazy over someone ” she lay on the bed about to switch off the light but I grab her hand and pin them, looking down at her I mumble.
” you don’t have to hate Zulu before you meet her Elia, am not crazy over her but you ” leaning close I rest my head on her neck inhaling her scent ” is you am crazy over Elia. Don’t act so jealous ”
” am not jealous! Why should I be, I don’t even like you ”
” you like me Elia, you wish not to admit it ”

” I do not ” when she process the question she quickly mumble ” I do ” it made me laugh, laying down I pull her closer to my body, her head resting on my chest as I turn off the light ” forgive me if I made you think a lot Elia, tomorrow… I promise to spend the day with you, showing you around ”

I nod and what she did took me off guards, she move close and bite my lower lip, our eyes meet, just like how i usually do ” you better don’t run off looking for Zulu ” she mumble withdrawing ” I won’t be happy ”
Why do I feel like we are married ” I won’t ” using my hand I slap her arse ” lay down and sleep silly, stop acting like a jealous wife”
” that hurt ”
” that’s why I did it ” winking she frown ” fine let me rob it ” using my hand I rob the arse gently ” you have one fine arse Elia”
” stop it ” she roll to the other side, not bothering to pull her close I turn to her direction and lay between her, my head on her chest, between her br-ast as I close my eyes ” Alexander ”
” if the mountain won’t come to me I have to move to it, good night Elia ”
” I can’t sleep like this!”
” pick, I stay this way or I lay on the bed and you place your head on my chest ”
” I will place my head on your chest” she rush her words and I giggle, lifting my head and staring at her, flushed and beautiful ” f-ck, I really want to touch you but not now ” she said nothing, just lick then bite her lower lip ” let’s sleep ” she lay on my chest and yawn.
” good night Alex”
” hmm” looking at the ceiling I know fully well my life is about to change, deciding to spend the day with Elia instead of searching for Zulu is something that surprise me.
