“Doctor how’s she?” madam Cassie asked. “she’s fine, she passed out due to shoke” the doctor said.
“Hope she’s fine now?” Chad asked. “yes she’s fine” the doctor replied. “have you done the test?” Chad asked.
“yeah I have” the doctor replied. “So how many days or weeks is the pregnancy?” Chad asked.
“there’s no need to asked, the pregnancy is mine” Jeff said. “no one is dragging the pregnancy with you, you just need to calm down” Chad said.
“I can’t calm down, did you want me to fold my hands and watch you take my unborn child away” Jeff said.
” you’re cr*zy” Chad replied. “Chad is enough, because I Know you too well” madam Cassie said.
“tell this mother f*cker to keep shut, because I won’t hesitate to shoot that his empty skull” Chad said.
“he’s sorry” madam Cassie pledge. ” is it true that am pregnant?” codelia asked opening her eyes.
“yeah, you’re pregnant, but I want you to take it easy with yourself it’s not the end of the world” madam Cassie said.
” Doctor, f*cking answer my question!” Chad yelled and Ben and peace walked into the hall.
” codelia” peace called happily and rushed to hug her. ” what’s he doing here?” codelia asked pointing to Ben.
” Am sorry, I told him not to come but he didn’t listen” peace said. ” get out!” codelia shouted.
“codelia am very sorry, I knew I have wronged you but you need to forgive me” Ben said.
“Ben I have forgiven you, but get out, I don’t wanna see you ever again” codelia said pointing to the door.
“Am sure you aren’t deaf!” Chad said, in his usual husky voice. ” this is none of your business Mr” Ben said and Chad left out an evil grin.
he stood up from his chair and madam Cassie also stood up immediately, and rushed to stop Chad from punching Ben.
” Chad please go and sit down” madam Cassie said. ” tell this guy to go out first” Chad said.
” Ben, codelia don’t wanna see you, can you please go back to where you are coming from” madam Cassie said.
” fine, but I will go, but I will still come back to get my love and as for you, I will so deal with you for not Minding your business” Ben said and point his hand at Chad. ” Bring it on, I will be here waiting for you” Chad said and Ben walked out angrily.
” Doctor, we are listening” Chad said. ” she’s five days pregnant” the doctor said and chad nod his head.
he stood up and walked out. madam Cassie peck codelia on his forehead and whisper ” I will be right back” to her.
“Aww, am happy you’re carrying my baby I will soon be a father” Jeff said. “you don’t have to be happy because I will terminate this pregnancy” codelia said.
“no, you don’t have to do that” Jeff said. “that’s what am gonna do, I can’t get pregnant out of wedlock, I promised my aunt that I will make her proud and I can’t make her proud with this pregnancy” codelia said.
“codelia, you don’t have to terminate my baby, I will marry you” Jeff said and codelia burst into laughter.
“you wanna marry a pr-stitute” codelia said and Vivian burst into laughter. “Why is she crying?” codelia asked no one in particular.
“ignore her” rose said. “you aren’t a pr-stitute, codelia I will marry you, we can even get marry tommorow” Jeff said.
“I can’t marry you” codelia said. “but why, is it because of the other guy?” Jeff asked.
” no Jeff, I don’t love you, you’re a very good guy and you deserve better” codelia said.
” codelia, I love you and I want you” Jeff said. ” you can’t love me, isn’t possible” codelia said.
” unfortunately am in love with you” Jeff said. ” Jeff you have to erase any feelings you have for me, me and you can’t work” codelia said.
” Am I not handsome enough, I promised to take good care of you, just give me a chance” Jeff said.
” Mr, that’s enough you’re letting her talk too much” Pamela said. ” help me talk to your friend” Jeff said.
” that’s enough, she need enough rest” the doctor said and lay codelia properly on the bed.
” sleep” the doctor said. and codelia nod her head and closed her eyes immediately.
” oh, I can’t believe this, did codelia just accepted to sleep without arguing with the doctor” peace said and the doctor smile at her.
” there’s something about her that I like, but I haven’t figure it out” the doctor said and went out.

” Chad” madam Cassie called. ” I want to be alone” Chad replied. ” no I can’t let you be alone, why did you rushed out angrily?” madam Cassie asked.
” I didn’t rushed out angrily, I just need fresh air” Chad said. ” I knew what’s bothering you, I never knew you love baby” madam Cassie said.
” yeah, I wished the child was mine but there’s nothing I can do about it” Chad said.
” oh, I felt sorry for you and am very sorry, because I caused all this” madam Cassie said. ” you don’t need to blame yourself” Chad said.
” I have to, because I caused all this, I just hope codelia will forgive me” madam Cassie said.
” I will like to be on way” Chad said. “Did you mean, we aren’t gonna see you again” madam Cassie said. “yeah, for my sanity” Chad replied.
“but you promised to tell me your past” madam Cassie said. “I didn’t promised, I only say I will tell you later” Chad said. “Alright, when are you gonna tell me?” madam Cassie asked.

“yeah, for my sanity” Chad replied.
“but you promised to tell me your past” madam Cassie said.
“I didn’t promised, I only told you that i will tell you later” Chad said. “Alright, when are you gonna tell me?” madam Cassie asked.
” I will but I am not in a good mood right now, I will tell you when I feel like” Chad replied.
” Alright then, but you need to let codelia know that you are going back” madam Cassie said.
” she doesn’t know when I came here, so there’s no need for me to tell her” Chad said.
” okay take good care of yourself” madam Cassie said. ” sure I will, have this you can contact me anytime you need my help” Chad said and gave her his business card.
“Thank you my dear” madam Cassie said. “make sure you call me” Chad said and walked to his car and madam Cassie wave her hand at him.
and madam Cassie walked back to the ward. ” where’s Chad?” rose asked madam Cassie.
” he’s gone” madam Cassie said and sat on a chair. ” that f*ol can’t Inform me that he’s going back home” rose said.
” stop calling him a f*ol” Vivian said. ” I don’t know when, you will start Minding your business” Rose said with an eyeroll.
” I will be on my way ma, I brought food for codelia” rose said and handover the food to madam Cassie.
” thank you so much dear, I really appreciate” madam Cassie said. ” my pleasure ma” rose said and dragged Vivian out with her.

Later in the day
” Nice seeing you again, my love” mike said and hug Anna happily. ” I really missed you and those kids are giving me tough time in theirbhouse” Anna said.
” Am very sorry my love all is for our own good” mike replied. ” hope you came with those doc-ments, because I haven’t still believe those doc-ments are fake” Anna said.
” so you mean, you didn’t trust me” mike said. ” no my love I didn’t mean it like that, am just surprised that the doc-ments are fake, Chad didn’t know we are after his wealth now” Anna said.
” he doesn’t know you’re after his wealth but he knew am after his wealth” mike replied.
” let me see the doc-ments” Anna said. ” so you still wanna see the doc-ments, those this mean you love Money more than you love me?” Mike asked.
” it’s fifty fifty” Anna replied with a smile. ” I will so deal with you” Anna said. ” how did you intend to deal with me?” Anna asked with a smile.
” am sure you know how am gonna deal with you, you’re just pretending” mike said.
” Am very sure am gonna will enjoy the punishment” Anna said with a smirk.
” you’re a bad woman” mike replied. ” the doc-ments” Anna said. ” this is it” mike said and dropped them on the table.
“wow, this boy is really wise, but how did he knows we are after his properties?” Anna asked.
“Anna that’s what I don’t know, I think there’s someone giving Chad information about us” mike said.
” who could that be, and those he knows that am working for you?” Anna asked.
” Am not sure, you knew Chad is hot temper, he would have kill you if he knows we are working together” mike said.
” you are right, but who is giving him information about us, we need to get that person and shut him or her up forever” Anna said.
” you are right, Chad is too smart for my liking” mike said. ” yeah, and I am very proud of him” Anna said.
” yeah, you should because he’s your son” mike replied. ” I don’t know why I don’t like him, maybe is because I don’t love his father” Anna said.
” let’s forget about that, what about the person you told me about?” Mike asked. ” oh I have her picture” Anna said and brought out her phone.
he gave the phone to Mike and he smile out. ” she’s beautiful” Chad said. ” what did you mean by she’s beautiful, is she more beautiful than I am?” Anna asked.
” you’re too jealous, she’s beautiful but her beauty can’t be compare with us, you are the most beautiful woman in the world” mike said.
” now you’re talking” Anna said with a smile.
” we are gonna use her as a bait to get what we want from Chad, keep monitoring her” mike said.
” Yeah, I need to get going before they come back” Anna said. ” you can’t just go like that, you knew it has been long we see” mike said.
” Mike I understand you perfectly, I promise to come back tomorrow” Anna said.
” Are you sure?” Mike asked. ” Am very sure” Anna said and collect her phone from him.
she put the phone on her bag and peck mike on his cheek. ” let me see you off” mike said.
“you don’t have to, we need to be very careful, I mean extra careful Chad and his sister are very wise” Anna said.
“Alright my love, I will be expecting you Tomorrow” mike said. “bye” Anna said and Walked out of the restaurant. she stopped a cab and gave the cab man her location.

“You have to start going” madam Cassie said to Jeff. “no I can’t go, I need to stay here till she wakes up” Jeff said.
” this is 8pm you need to go back to your house” madam Cassie said. ” I can’t, codelia told me she’s gonna abort my first child” Jeff said.
” when did she say that?” madam Cassie asked. ” this morning” Jeff replied. ” she dare not, I can’t allow her to abort the baby over my dead body” madam Cassie said.
” Aunt, am gonna abort it” codelia said. ” you dare not” madam Cassie replied. ” I will and there’s nothing you can do about it” codelia said and madam Cassie burst into tears.
” Aunt, why are you crying?” codelia asked. ” why won’t I cry, don’t you know you’re planning to kill yourself” madam Cassie said.
” no aunt, I can’t die am too young to die” codelia replied. ” who told you, you’re too young to die?” madam Cassie said and still crying.
” Aunt stop crying” codelia said. ” I won’t stop crying until you promise me you’re not gonna abort the baby” madam Cassie said. ” fine I won’t abort the baby” codelia said.
” really” madam Cassie said and clean her tears immediately. ” Am not crying again” she said and smile at codelia.

Chad sat on a chair in his bar. he brought out a cigarette from the packet and light it, he put it on his mouth and puff out the air. he took a bottle of vodka and gulp everything down in a goal.
he look at his wall clock and nod his head. Anna look to and fro before entering the living, he enter the living room and was about to run to her room, before Chad stopped her.
“why are you coming from?” Chad asked puffing out a smoke from his cigarettes. “Actually……” Anna said. “F*cking talk before I shoot that empty skull of yours” Chad growl. “I am done for, father lord please take my soul” Anna said to herself.
I think Anna is in trouble 🤔
