“4-1!, I love you baby Nana!!!” Dwayne shouted, laughing sillily afterwards.

“I’ll get you arrested!, My dad will kill you for doing this to me!” Honey shouted.

“Shut the hell up b**ch!” Nana kicked her again, and she started crying like a baby.

“You’ll regret this!, I’ll make you regret tonight!”

“Bring it on, octopus” Nana replied and rushed to Dwayne who was counting his fingers.

“Look I have ten fingers” he said childishly.

“I know” she replied, lifting him up from the bed.

She held his hand and dragged him out of the room.

“I have ten fingers!” He screamed as they entered the elevator together.

“Was it supposed to be twenty?, Gosh!, You’re something else while drunk” she replied, and he smiled before facing her.

“Lucky charm!, I love you sooo much!” He laughed, pouting again.

“So cute” Nana chuckled, and he hugged her.

“You smell sooo nice!, Like rosewater” he said.

“Really?” She smiled, and he hugged her tighter.

“You’re the only one I have right now, can you please stay?” He whispered.

“I’m silly and foolish” she replied.

“I’m silly and foolish too, charm” he replied, and she hugged him back.

The elevator door finally opened when it got to the ground floor, and she broke the hug to take him out.

“Let’s play hide and seek” he said, rushing to the couches in the lobby.

He hid beside one of them and started making puppy faces.

Nana found him and knelt in front of him.

“You found me” he said.

“Come back to your senses, parasite” she laughed, and his eyes started becoming drowsy.

“Come on” she drew him up and guided him with an arm, then she took him out of the hotel.

They got in a taxi together and drove to Jolly resturant.

She took him in and dropped him on the ground in the room, and he smiled drowsily.

“You’re so pretty, baby Nana” he whispered.

“I know, baby Dwayne” she replied, and he smiled widely before touching her short hair.

“To hell with those guys, I love your long hair better” he said.

“It’ll grow long in two weeks” she replied, and he smiled again before pulling her close.

“I’ll gladly kill for you, do you know that?” He whispered, and she blinked slowly.

“Even when everyone turned their backs on me, you stood solidly, and I got so addicted that….I can’t do without you anymore. I dunno how it happened but…. I think I’m under your spell, and I never wanna get out” he continued, and Nana smiled prettily.

“I want you to be the only girl I’ll touch or kiss, be the only girl I’ll say I love you to, be my first and last love, be my lucky charm forever, and don’t ever leave me” he whispered.

Nana smiled widely again before blowing air on his face from her mouth.

“What?” He asked.

“Sleep” she replied.

“Sure” he smiled and leaned in.

He kissed her nose before resting back on the wall, then he held her hand so tight before closing his eyes.

Nana continued staring at him till he fell into a deep sleep, and she suddenly saw the things he wrote on the wall.

“When did he write all these?” She muttered, then she sighted the marker on the ground.

Even in his sleep, he didn’t let go of her left hand, so she picked with her right and opened the lid with her teeth.

She wrote on the wall too.

She smiled after writing those, then she dropped the marker and looked at Dwayne.

“Handsome” she smiled and leaned in to kiss his brows, then she sat beside him and brought his head to her shoulder.

She slept off too, and none woke up at night.

They were deeply asleep till the early hours of the morning, and Dwayne’s eyes opened first.

He looked around before lifting his head, and when he saw Nana beside him, he smiled.

He touched her mole, and that woke her, but he didn’t stop touching.

They stared at each other for a while before she smiled.

“Slept well?” She asked.

“My future is beside me, of course” he replied, and she laughed.

“How cheesy”

He arranged her hair with his fingers, then he stood.

“Come on” he gave her an hand, and he helped her up.

Immediately she stood, he hugged her tightly.

“I love you” he whispered, and she smiled.

She continued hugging him back till her phone beeped.

She broke it to check.

“Reminder, 8 o’clock class” she said, and he nodded.

They left the room together, and she suddenly faced him.

“I think Terri is a bad guy, he was the one who tucked you into Honey’s car last night” she said.

“What!” His eyes widened.

“You don’t remember?” She blinked.

“I only remember when you came into the hotel room, I dunno how I got there” he replied.

“Was him, and I saw her giving him some cash”

“I’m seriously gonna strangle him” he replied with a glare, and she started laughing.

“What?” He blinked.

“Your drunk side was damn funny, you were like 3-1!, 4-1!, I have ten fingers!, Let’s play hide and seek!” She said mockingly and started laughing, and he covered his face with his palms quickly.

“F**k” he muttered and started walking faster.

“But you were damn cute, so cute that I almost kidnapped you” she said, running after him.

“Stop talking about it” he replied, opening the car door.

He pushed her in, and immediately he sat on the driver’s seat…

“I have ten fingers!” She shouted mockingly.

“Stop talking!” He snapped, and she laughed loudly as he drove off.

THE MILLERS

Dwayne got home and met Mary by the door.

Since the charm bracelet incident, they’ve never really talked.

Her eyes went to his wrist, and when she saw it’s back, she looked at him.

“I see you got it back” she said

Dwayne clenched his jaw before walking in, leaving her standing.

He met Bianca by the stairs, and she smiled at him, but he gave her a blank face as he walked past her.

“Brother!” Bianca called, but he didn’t turn back till he got to his room and took off his shirt.

He went to his drawer and brought out Dwight’s bracelet, then he smiled and kissed it.

“Guess what?, I spent the fourth night with the girl I love, and I’m going crazy” he said happily.

He dropped it after a while and stood.

The next thing his eyes caught is Nana’s hairband from the other time. It’s on his bedstand.

He went for it and took it, then he kissed it too and chuckled.

He walked to the window, and surprisingly, Nana was already waiting across.

He got his phone and texted her immediately.

★YOUR 8 O’CLOCK CLASS★

She texted back.

★IT GOT SHIFTED TO 9★

DWAYNE: My first class is 10

NANA: Cool, 4-1!

DWAYNE: Not again.

NANA: 😂, it’s hard to forget

DWAYNE: By the way I love what you’re wearing

Her cheeks turned red immediately. She’s wearing a white transparent singlet, no bra.

NANA: Going crazy?

DWAYNE: Trust me it’s killing me!

NANA: Wanna come over?

Immediately he received the text, he jumped down the window and climbed hers.

It only took one minute before he landed in her room.

He took a good look at the room again and nodded.

“ITZY?, A girl band in Korea?” He said, looking at their wallpaper on the wall.

“Sure, it’s a five membered band, and they are….

“Ryujin, Lia, Yuna, Chaeryoung, and Yeji” he interrupted, and her eyes widened.

“You’re into K-pop?”

“Of course, I’m a dancer and I watch a lotta shows” he replied.

“Aww!, Now I believe you really speak six languages” she said.

“You didn’t believe before?” He raised a brow.

“No” she replied, and he curved his lips.

“Whatever”

“What’s your room like?, I’ve never entered”

“Jump in through my window whenever you’re ready” he winked, and she smiled.

All along, they’ve been standing in front of each other, so Nana tried to walk away, but he held her back.

She looked at him, and he leaned in, kissing her nose just like last night.

“About Shane…

“I’ll handle it” she cut him off, and he blinked.

“You sure?”

“Trust me, baby Dwayne” she smiled, and he smiled.

“Can you call me that again?”

“Baby Dwayne, 4-1” she winked.

“Gawd, you’re bad” he laughed.

“Nana!” Rona’s voice brought them back to their senses, and he quickly rushed to the window.

He looked back and blew her a kiss with a wink, then he jumped down.

Nana left the room and met Rona at the door, then they went downstairs together.

Jisoo was already setting breakfast on the table.

They both sat quietly, and Rona sighed.

“Mum, is this how you’re gonna continue giving Nana the silent treatment?” She said.

“Did she make amends with Shane already?” Jisoo replied.

“The fact is that she doesn’t love him, I’m not saying she’s right by making a fool out of him, but now that she found where her heart belongs, shouldn’t you help?, Mum…

“I’m never gonna support any relationship with Dwayne Miller, and that’s final” Jisoo replied.

The door opened that moment, and Jimin came in.

“Appa!” Nana and Rona ran to him immediately, but before they could get to him, he went on his knees, shocking them.

“Appa wae-gu-rae? (Dad what’s wrong?)” Nana asked.

“You went on a business trip, right?, And you came back to kneel?” Jisoo said.

“I’m sorry for lying to y’all” Jimin said.

“Lying?” Rona blinked.

“It wasn’t a business trip, I actually went job hunting” he said.

“What!”

“To be sincere, I wasn’t transferred here from Korea. I actually got fired” he continued, and Jisoo held her neck.

“Oh my gawd!”

“I got fired, and my friend here told me he could help me secure a job, that’s why I lied about transfer to bring us here, but we haven’t even found any job, I’m so sorry my family!!!” He said loudly, bowing in front of them.

“Appa!…. “Rona’s eyes widened.

“I can’t believe this” Nana muttered shockingly.

“Call the cops, I’m commiting murder this morning” Jisoo smirked.

Nana and Rona faced her at the same time.

“Jimin!!!!!!!!!!” She screamed, running after him.

“No!!!!” Jimin fell on the ground as she pounced on him.

“Eomma andwae!!!” (Mum no!!!)” Rona and Nana screamed.

SHANE’S PLACE ~ 8:30AM

Aura and Maxine left the house already.

Aura works full time for Jisoo since she’s not schooling, and Maxine has classes and makeup schedules to catch up with.

Shane was the last to come out of the big house.

It’s a beautiful mansion in the middle of Pullman, and he can’t even ask for more.

He smiled when he looked at the house again, then he touched his necklace and smiled.

His mum… Suzanne actually gave it to him on his fifth birthday before her death.

“Mum, Maxine is making it, I hope she gets even more popular” he said and kissed the pendant.

“But…why was Aura wearing the same necklace?” He wondered as he walked to his bike

On the other side of the road is a limousine, and Mr Windsor is inside, watching him as he got on the bike.

He folded his fists tightly, and he eventually closed his eyes.

“Drive” he told his driver, and the car drove off.

Shane was about to start the bike when Rona appeared, and his eyes widened.

“Sis!” He smiled.

“It was so much work finding your new house” Rona replied.

ALEX’S PLACE

Maxine walked in angrily, burning with rage as she took each step into the living room.

Alex almost injured her with calls and texts, but he started threatening her to do something nasty this morning, and that’s why she came.

She met him in the living room, sniffing cocaine as usual.

“Why the threats?” She rolled eyes.

He smirked and stood, then he slapped her hard across the face.

“Ah!’ she gasped, holding the face.

“Prostitute!, How dare you ignore my calls and texts!” He barked.

“Animal!!!” Maxine screamed and slapped him back

“What the f**k!” He said shockingly.

“It’s over between us, not like you’ve ever treated me like your girlfriend anyways, don’t ever call or text me, fool!” She shouted and started walking out.

“How about i post a video of you giving me BJ on the internet?” He suddenly said, and she froze.

She turned back swiftly.

“What!”

“The popular cosmetologist, SmokyMax seen in a BJ video, how heartbreaking” he laughed.

“Monster!!!” Maxine screamed, rushing to him, but Alex grabbed her hands, trapping her as she released heavy breaths.

“You can prevent it though, let’s start with fifty million dollars” he smiled devilishly.

Carmen looked so happy as she settled down at the rooftop, ready to make a video call with Dean.

She positioned her strawberry drink in hand, drinking with a straw as the call connected, but immediately his face showed, the drink fell from her.

He’s in tears!

“Baby what’s…

“Mum got worse immediately after the operation, she’s not improving” he replied.

“What!, How did it…

“I dunno, I dunno what to do” he replied.

“Calm down baby, it’s a phase, I’m sure you’ll pass it by, she’ll be fine” she said.

“I don’t think I’ll be coming home in years” he said, and her eyes widened.

“What!’

“Yes, so….

“I’ll wait, I’m good at waiting yunno?, Even if it takes ten years, I’ll always be here, long distance relationship isn’t bad” Carmen cut him off.

“No, I can’t put a full stop to your life because of me” he replied.

“So?”

“Let’s break up” he replied, and her eyes widened.

“What!”

COMPUTER LAB

As usual, Dwayne didn’t leave after the class, and Rudy came in immediately.

“Dude why the hell didn’t you pick your calls last night?” He said, settling in front of him.

“I’m sorry, left my phone at home” he replied sullenly.

“You ok?” Rudy asked.

“Dean’s mum got worse, no idea about when he’s coming back, he broke up with Carmen” Dwayne replied.

“What the f**k!, Why did he do that!”

“Guilt of staying away from her I guess” Dwayne replied.

“Gawd” Rudy sighed.

They spent more minutes together in the room before leaving for the cafeteria since it’s time for lunch.

Nana is with Martin and Stanley this time.

Bianca and CeCe aren’t in the cafeteria. They’ll surely be somewhere consoling Carmen.

Rudy and Dwayne joined Nana on the table, and Dwayne held Nana’s hand under the table immediately.

“Hey, gay couple!” Rudy waved at Stanley.

“Hey, single wacko” Martin replied.

“Bastard” Rudy replied, and they all laughed.

“Heard there’s a party tommorow at the frat house, whose party?” Stanley asked.

“My party” Rudy replied.

“Why are you f**king obsessed with parties?” Martin said.

“Cos I’m Rudy Sugar” he winked.

“So cocky” Nana said, and Rudy laughed.

7PM~A PARK

Nana came out of a taxi hurriedly, and when she saw Shane in the park already, she rushed to him breathlessly.

He actually called to meet here.

“I’m sorry I kept you waiting” she said.

“It’s ok” he smiled, wanting to touch her hair, but he cautioned himself by folding his hands.

“Want ice cream?” She asked.

“No, I’ll go straight to the point” he replied, and she looked him in the eye.

“Let’s break up” he said, and she blinked with wide eyes.

“It’s sad that we didn’t get to be together for long, but the little time is the most important moment of my existence, maybe we aren’t meant to be” he smiled.

“Shane…

“Follow your heart, and I’ll mend mine..” he said and started leaving.

“Shane!” She suddenly called, and he stopped.

“What?” He asked without looking back. He was already crying.

“I’m sorry, about everything…. sincerely sorry” she said.

Without replying, he mounted his bike and drove away.

Nana continued standing there for long, but when she snapped out of it after five minutes, she boarded a taxi.

She rode back home and didn’t bother to enter her house. She went straight to Dwayne’s window and started climbing.

It was easier than she thought cos after two minutes, she climbed up and jumped in.

Dwayne was just coming out of the bathroom, towel wrapped around his waist only.

His hair sticky wet with the shower water, gumming to his forehead cutely.

His eyes widened when he saw her, and Nana swallowed hard after taking a good look at his s*xy body.

“Nana?” He whispered shockingly.

Nana took fast steps to him, and immediately she got to him, she stood on her toes and held his face, pulling it down to her level.

“I love you more, baby boy” she whispered affectionately, and without taking another breath, she crashed her lips directly on the pinkness of his own.
