Here inside the comfort of his home, Ade stands on the balcony watching silently as the sun descends into the sky. Despite looking calm, Ade’s mind was filled with thoughts that made his restless these past few days. Ever since Ade heard Felicia’s revelation days ago, his rage and hatred kept growing and growing but his rage wasn’t just pointed at Felicia alone but it was also at everyone including his parents. He believed that the result of his past trauma and this painful moment he was feeling now as because of the rivaling conflicts between the Elites and Executioners and if there was none of that, perhaps his life would have been different. After thinking and thinking about his opinion, Ade finally arrived at a dark answer that would alter his life forever.
After the sun went down, Ade went back inside his house and then turns on the TV to watch the news. In that moment, his Aunt Shola appears into the house with a couple of young men and women looking warm and friendly. Ade who had already sensed their presence laughed casually as he fixed his eyes on his flat screen.

Aunt Shola ➡ Ade.
.

Ade ➡ Aunty.. Good evening.
.

Aunt Shola ➡ My, what happened here? This place is a mess.
.

Ade ➡ I know.
.

Aunt Shola ➡ Ade, you look awful. Are you okay?
.

Ade ➡ Okay? (laughs) Don’t pretend like you care.
.

Aunt Shola ➡ What’s that supposed to mean?
.

Ade ➡ Oh Aunty.. Did you really think that I wouldn’t find out?
.

Aunt Shola ➡ Find out about what?
.

Ade ➡ For years, I swore to myself that I would never use my abilities on you but now that I have I know all your secrets. Tell me, did you come here because you wanted to see me or did you just want to do your job as an Executioner?
.

Shortly after Ade’s statement, the whole room became silent except for the TV. Seeing that there was no use in pretending anymore, Aunt Shola decides to come out clean hoping to win her nephew’s trust but it was already too late.

Aunt Shola ➡ Ade.. Please try to understand..
.

Ade ➡ I AM DONE UNDERSTANDING! YOU HEAR ME? I AM DONE!
.

Seeing how furious Ade was, the people or rather executioners that Aunt Shola came with brought out some shockwave guns and shot Ade with it but not with the intention of killing but to restrain him.
.

Aunt Shola ➡ Please Ade.. Listen to me. Let me explain everything.
.

Blinded by imminent rage, Ade loses self control and then goes wild on his Aunt and her escorts by unleashing his spirits on them. The spirits who acted on Ade’s will possessed the executioners and made them snap their own necks leaving on Ade’s Aunt as she watched the horror unveil before her. Now free of the effect of the shockwave guns, Ade gets back on his feet and approaches his aunt steadily. Each step he took towards his Aunt made her tremble with fright as she gazed upon nephew which she no longer recognizes anymore, he was now a completely different person entirely.
After getting close to his Aunt, Ade stands still and stares down at her with vicious eyes like a predator going for the hunt.

Shola ➡ Ade… Please.
.

Ade ➡ How long has it been Aunty? How long have you been lying to me? For years, I stayed along in this house without any family members except you. I never wanted this, I never wanted to be lonely but I managed to find some friends.. Everything was fine for a while until the Executioners showed up, I fought a battle that I had no part in making, I fell for a seductress whom I thought I was in love with but it turns out, I fell for my parent’s killer and now you are an Executioner! Tell me Aunty? What could you possibly say that could make sense? My parents were killers and because of their actions, they were taken from me and I was left alone to suffer from it and the worst thing is that the love of my life is the one that killed them and you whom I trusted more than anyone else is part of a group that is trying to kill people like me.

Shola ➡ Ade, I know this is hard to take but understand that I never meant to hurt you. I loved you just like your parents did.
.

Ade ➡ Then why are you here with these Executioners?
.

Shola ➡ Lagos is going to be a battle ground this night so I came to take you away until this is all over.

Ade ➡ Did you know that my friends were Elites?
.

Shola ➡ I..
.

Ade ➡ Don’t lie. My spirits can tell if you’re lying. Tell me the truth.

Shola ➡ Yes I did.

Ade ➡ Why didn’t you expose them?

Shola ➡ Because I saw how much they meant to you. I didn’t want you to get hurt.

Ade ➡ I see.

Shola ➡ But it doesn’t matter now. You need to come with me. The elites must be dealt with, they are a threat.

Ade ➡ No.. We all are. Both the Elites and Executioners! We are the problem but tonight, I’ll fix that problem once and for all.

Shola ➡ Ade..

Ade ➡ Leave Aunty. Pack your things and leave Lagos. This is the last time we’ll ever meet.

Shola ➡ Ade no! I promised your parents that I’d protect you.
.

Ade ➡ I’m a man now and I don’t need you in my life anymore. The reason why you’re not dead is because you’ve been good and kind to me. Leave now.

Shola ➡ Ade, please don’t do this.
.

Ade ➡ I said LEAVE!! GO!! GET OUT OF MY LIFE!!! Don’t force me to do something I’ll regret. Just go Aunty. Just go.

Seeing that she had no choice, Aunt Shola left with a heavy heart as she thought this might be the last time she’ll ever see Ade again. As soon as his aunt had left the house, Ade stands still for some seconds and then heads to the balcony once more staring into the atmosphere. Hoping to get some peace of mind, Ade’s attention was soon drawn to the news which was broadcasted on his flat screen.

News caster ➡ Good evening Lagos, I’m Temi olajide here to report the news update. Minutes ago, a video was posted online by the group who call themselves The Elites claiming they have planted an atomic bomb in some parts of Lagos particularly the suburban parts and another shocking revelation is that the private investigation agency known as NOVA here in Lagos is secretly working with them. It’s truly shocking that such an agency that has been a great help to this city is tied to this unknown criminal group. The law enforcement have reacted to this situation and have advised people from all suburban parts of Lagos to evacuate in an orderly fashion.. Bombs squads are on their way and the police are yet to know the demand of this terrorist group.. As for the Nova agency…

Listening to the news with rapt attention, Ade tightens his knuckles hard but before he could hear the end of the news, a powerful explosion goes off somewhere in Lagos and all the electricity in the city goes out instantly putting Lagos in a state of pitch black darkness. Seeing that the chaos had already began, Ade decides to make his move but before he could do that, Atlas appears before him.

Atlas ➡ Well, well, well.. Looks like things have gotten worse for you and your friends. So what do you intend to do about this?
.

Ade ➡ I’m ending it all.
.

Atlas ➡, How?
.

Ade ➡ I’ll find a way.
.

Atlas. ➡ You don’t have anything but I do.
.

Ade ➡ What is it?
.

Atlas ➡ Let’s just say it is something that your friends wouldn’t like at all. Are you sure you’re up for this?

Ade ➡ Like I said, I’m ending this tonight. All of this.
.

Atlas ➡ Since you’ve made up your mind. Let’s get to it then.

Meanwhile half way across the world, Laila watches in silence as things unfold in Lagos. After hearing from a reliable source what the Executioners were about to do, she decides to send them a little backup.
.

Laila ➡ This is bad! That bitch is stacking up all her cards against our brothers and sisters in Lagos. We have to help them.
.

Anna ➡ But how? The city is in a mess right now.
.

Laila. ➡ Even still, we have to do something. What’s the update on Ade?
.

Anna ➡ He’s not speaking to the others.
.

Laila ➡ This is bad. Call Steven and Kareem for me. We have to head out now. The Executioners want war and they will get one.
.

Unaware that some of the Elites were on to them, Monica and her Executioners prepare themselves to annihilate their ancient enemies once and for all. After framing the Elites and Nova with her fake video, Monica was certain that the elites now had nowhere to run and they were finished.
After arriving at her Lagos base, Monica and her Einstein Victor head straight to the lab to test out their new weapon and as soon as they arrive at the lab, Monica stares at their creation in wonder.

Monica ➡ What a beauty! Is it ready?

Victor ➡ Not a 100% ready but it can do a test run.

Monica ➡ Good, turn it on.
.

Victor ➡ Computer, initiate the Elite destroyer.
.

AI computer ➡ Elite destroyer, initiated.

The Elite destroyer is a war drone the size of an helicopter, it’s designs were state of the art and it had all the necessary requirement of an American fighter jet only that it was far more better. The drone has all sorts of firepower including a small atomic launcher that could burn an entire neighborhood to the ground. It also has stealth mode, camouflage and it is computer controlled. The terrifying thing about this drone that is it has a DNA scan and it is programmed to eliminate anyone with the Elite genes or those that will give birth to Elites in the near future.
After the drone had been activated, a vicious smile crossed the face of Monica as she saw her dream come to fruition. At long last, she will succeed where others have failed and that is eliminating the Elites all in one swoop.

Monica ➡ Finally, we can now get rid of this freaks once and for all.
.

Victor ➡ So should we launch it now?
.

Monica ➡ Of course but let it be in stealth and camouflage mode. I don’t want them to see it, all I want them to see fire dropping from the sky.

For a moment, we thought that we had been the Executioners but it turns out they were 2 steps ahead of us. The news of us being terrorists and the Nova agency complicated things putting us once again out of public’s trust.
Samson who had been on the computers ever since the news came out read the reviews about us and it was pretty bad. Everyone was out for our heads and this time we were out of options.

Eze ➡ This is bad. What do we do?
.

Kaityln ➡ We have to run. That’s for sure.
.

Naomi ➡ If we run, then we’ll be proven to them that we are indeed terrorist.
.

Kabir ➡ Staying isn’t an option. We have to lay low.
.

Hussein ➡ Perhaps I could use my abilities and turn the tides.

Eve ➡ Not good enough. We need to kill the Executioners once and for all.
.

Athena ➡ And how do we do that?

Sonny. ➡ Destiny can help us find them.
.

Eve ➡ Don’t bring my sister into this. She’s been through enough.

Felicia ➡ We all have. We need to know where to find those cockroaches before they find us.

Eve ➡ Use Ade then.

Chioma ➡ You know very well that Ade won’t help.

Iwonbi ➡ Has anyone checked on Ade yet?

Richard ➡ He’s still angry. I can sense him.

Jennifer ➡ Richard you didn’t have to check on your father.

Richard ➡ Well, somebody has to. If mom had kept her mouth shut then none of this would have happened.

Jennifer ➡ It’s not your Mom’s fault! It’s this woman’s fault. (Pointing at Isabelle)

Isabelle ➡ I didn’t know that Laila was going to tell Ade.

Felicia ➡ So that’s the name of the bitch that made Ade hate me!

Susan ➡ And I’m glad that he did.
.

Athena ➡ Susan, you’re awake.
.

Ace ➡ You need to relax.
.

Susan ➡ I’m fine. You think you deserve Ade but you don’t. You don’t care about anything but yourself. What Ade and I had was real and you destroyed it.

Felicia ➡ You have no idea what Ade means to me.

Susan ➡ Oh really? Then tell us then, what’s is favorite color? What does he hate? What makes him laugh and what makes him cry?… You don’t know anything about him but I do cause he told me. He shared his deepest secrets with me.

Felicia ➡ (laughs) Oh please.. He didn’t share all of it and if you claim to love him so much why did you play a part in ambushing him?

Eve ➡ Enough talk about Ade alright!! You two have no right to claim him cause he was mine first but then he was stolen from me. Not that it matters anymore. We need to focus on the Executioners. They need to die. All of them.

Sonny ➡ So what’s the plan?
.

Before anyone could answer my question, a loud explosion went off somewhere in the city. Samson asked Mercury what was the cause of the explosion and the answer we got made us all speechless.
.

Samson ➡ Mercury! What caused that explosion?
.

Mercury ➡ It was caused by a small explosive rocket. I don’t know what fired that rocket but I traced it’s trajectory to the sky.
.

Ali ➡ It’s an aerial attack!
.

Ace ➡ Mercury, scan the skies and see if you can pick up anything!
.

Mercury ➡ Negative. I can’t find anything.
.

Mary ➡ Did you guys here that?
.

Ifeanyi ➡ Hear what?
.

Eve ➡ Something is coming towards us and it’s coming fast.
.

Samson ➡ Mercury! What in the hell is heading towards us?
.

All we got in that moment was a powerful boom that shook the entire building. Something was definitely coming for us and it was pretty obvious and clear to us the individuals responsible for this.

Samson ➡ Mercury! I need eyes in the air. What’s hitting us?
.

Chioma ➡ Eyes? Eze!
.

Eze ➡ Already ahead of you… Omo!
.

Kabir ➡ What is it Eze? What did you see?
.

Eze ➡ It’s a drone.. The thing that hit us.. It’s a drone. A big one.
.

Athena ➡ Why can’t your computer see it?
.

Eze ➡ Because it’s in camouflage! We need to stop it now.
.

Beatrice ➡ Looks like its up to me. (Leaves)

Jennifer ➡ How can you shoot it down if you can’t see it?
.

Beatrice ➡ Then she should come with me! (Pointing to Eze). He can tell me where to shoot.

Chioma ➡ This is crazy!!
.

Richard ➡ I’ll go with them. I can protect them.
.

Samson ➡ Hold on.. The drone is electric and we need a powerful force or electric current that can disable it.
.

Eve ➡ Well, Sunday is here. He can help with that.

Jennifer ➡ Or Isabelle here.
.

Isabelle ➡ No sorry.. I better stay out of this.
.

Ace ➡ Wait o.. Isn’t Gabriel in our custody?

Kaityln ➡ You want to use that guy now!? It’s dangerous.

Naomi ➡ He can help us. Besides he has to join us if he wants to leave.

Felicia ➡ Let’s go talk to him Ace. If he tries anything funny, I go just transfer the werey to the afterlife.

Sonny ➡ What are we to do then?

Chioma ➡ Staying together will be a good idea. In the meantime, someone should contact Rollins. We need him here.

Beatrice ➡ So can I go now?
.

Samson ➡ Hold on. Take this chip.. Fire it at the drone and please don’t miss.
.

Beatrice ➡ Bros.. I no dey miss. Ever.
.

Samson ➡ Good, cause once that chip is stuck on that drone. I can hack it before it does anymore damage. (Phone rings)…. Hello Rollins?

Rollins ➡ Sam, you dey hear me?
.

Samson ➡ Guy, I dey hear you. Nah where you dey?
.

Rollins ➡ Make una evacuate o. The Executioners dey come for una, make una scatter.
.

Samson ➡ Scatter go where? You see the drone wey dey para for sky?
.

Rollins ➡ Samson, na small army dem bring o. Una no go win this fight o.
.

Samson ➡ So where you dey now?
.

Rollins ➡ I dey watch them from a distance.
.

Samson ➡ Abeg keep us posted. We get bigger problems to deal with. (Ends call)

I may not have heard what Rollins said but it was written on Samson’s face that we were literally f-cked! Something had to be done to level the plains and staying inside this building wasn’t going to help at all. The least I could do was to try something.
Seeing that nobody was looking, I sneaked out of the place and headed straight downstairs but before I could leave the building, I sensed someone following me and as soon as I turned around, I saw that it was destiny!

Sonny ➡ Destiny!

Destiny ➡ Don’t leave cause if you do. You’ll.. Die.
