There’s a reason why the future is always a mysterious cause if one learns about certain events of the future, it could lead to a great and irreversible catastrophe. Destiny’s vision kept everyone one edge. Being told that the end is coming is an obvious sign that something bad is going to happen and the worst thing is nobody knows what it is.
I don’t know about the others but deep down, I began to imagine that we might not actually win this fight against the Executioners. So far they’ve managed to back us into the corner and now they’re coming for us. As much as I wished that there was a way to change the future in case it’s going to happen but it’s just impossible. Some believe that the future could be changed but they’re wrong, whatever that’s meant to happen will happen and no matter the change or alteration, it will still happen. For a while, I and everyone else in the lobby thought Destiny’s vision was meant for us but we were wrong, it was something we never thought would happen ever.

Presently as we were waiting for the Executioners to show up, Mercury alerted us about some strangers trying to make unauthorized entry and as we were shown their images, we noticed Rollins in their midst and he wasn’t okay at all.

Samson ➡ Rollins!?

Kabir ➡ Who are those strangers with him?
.

Isabelle ➡ They’re the Elites that told Ade about Felicia’s secret. The woman in their midst is Laila. She’s the leader of the Elites haven. She’s one of us.
.

Jennifer ➡ No.. She’s not. Have you all forgotten what she did? She almost jeopardized us.
.

Iwonbi ➡ This is no time for grudges. We need all hands on deck if we’re going to survive the Executioners.

Chioma ➡ Let them in. Mercury, how’s Rollins?
.

Mercury ➡ Scanning… He’s been shot on his left leg and he’s in a lot of pain.
.

Seconds later, Rollins and the other elites showed up into the main lobby. The atmosphere was a bit tense after Rollins was taken to the medic bay. Everyone stared at Laila and her team silently for a while before a conversation struck.

Felicia ➡ So, you’re the bitch that ruined my chances with Ade.
.

Steven ➡ Watch your mouth, criminal.
.

Laila ➡ It’s okay Steven, she has every right to be angry. I know what I did was wrong but it had to be done.
.

Jennifer ➡ No. You didn’t have to tell him. He didn’t need to know. Now he’s at his mansion all alone and angry.

Laila ➡ I’m sorry. Once this is all over, I’ll go talk to him myself.
.

Felicia ➡ And say what? The damage has already been done. Nothing you say will change Ade’s views about me. He’ll always see me as his parents killer.

Chioma ➡ Why are you even here? Are you here to cause more trouble?

Laila ➡ I’m here to help you. The Executioners are angry and they’re coming for you. You don’t stand a chance. I can help you if you all come with me to our safe haven. No Executioners can ever find us there ever again.

Samson ➡ Sorry lady but we’re tired of running. We’re going to end this tonight one way or the other.
.

Laila ➡ I wasn’t saying that we should run. Right now you’re not prepared to fight the Executioners but with time you will.
.

Eze ➡ And when will that time come?
.

(Power outrage)

Kaitlyn ➡ Wetin happen?
.

Eve ➡ Are the Executioners here?
.

Mary ➡ No they’re….
.

Moses ➡ Mary, what’s going on?
.

Mary ➡ I’m hearing screams. Awful screams.
.

Ace ➡ Where?
.

Mary ➡ All over Lagos.
.

Samson ➡ Hold on everyone. Mercury, activate our solar backup power.

Mercury ➡ Solar power activated.
.

Within a blink of an eye, the lights were back and as soon as the computers were back online Samson began to use them to scan for what was happening all over the city but before he could find out what it was, Eze informed us on what was going on.

Eze ➡ Jesus Christ!!

Chioma ➡ Babe, what is it?
.

Eze ➡ It’s… God!
.

Gabriel ➡ Guy, tell us what is happening!

Eze ➡ Spirits are all over the place.
.

Ali ➡ Spirits!?
.

Laila ➡ How can you see spirits?
.

Eze ➡ My abilities have improved. The spirits are..
.

Samson ➡ Alright everyone, I have eyes all over the city. Mercury, what’s going on?
.

Mercury ➡ I can’t explain it sir but it appears that people are dying in various parts of the city in random.
.

Kabir ➡ Can you check on the Executioners?
.

Eze ➡ Oh God..
.

Susan ➡ Will you please tell us what is going on?
.

Eze ➡ The Executioners, the spirits are possessing and killing them.
.

Mercury ➡ Here’s a live footage of the Executioners.

Lola ➡ Jesus! What is happening to them?
.

As we all laid our eyes on the live footage of the Executioners, we were shocked and speechless as we saw what was happening to them. Some of there were screaming and yelling with pain as blood poured out of their eyes and ears, some were levitated into midair only to drop dead on the ground. However, the Executioners weren’t the only one facing such a horrible fate, a number of people all over the city also faced similar treatment and all we could do was wonder what was happening.

Eve ➡ Omotola, what do you think is happening?

Omotola ➡ (silent)

Eve ➡ Omotola!
.

Omotola ➡ How should I know?
.

Eve ➡ Use your magic or juju to find out.

Before Omotola could move a muscle, the lights in the building began to flicker unstop as if somebody was tampering with them. It was in that moment that Omotola told us what was going on.

Kaitlyn ➡ Jesus eh! What is going on?
.

Omotola ➡ There’s a evil presence here.
.

Kabir ➡ We need to call for Ade.. He might..
.

Just before Kabir could finish his statement, the light stopped flickering and we all heavy a chill presence behind us and as we all turned around, we saw Ade standing behind us. We all froze with fright as we saw him, his eye pupils were bright red and dark veins gathered beneath his eyelids. What shocked us even more was the bleeding body of Monica lying next to him. After a break moment of silence, Ade broke the silence letting us all know of the things he had done.

Ade ➡ I know you’re all surprised to see me and at the same time confused. Well, I’ll make it easy for you all, whatever it is you saw happening out there, it’s all me. I’m responsible.

Kabir ➡ Ade, what happened to you?
.

Ade ➡ Alot.

Chioma ➡ Why? Why are you doing this? You’re killing innocent people.

Ade was silent after that. His face was blank and empty, there was no telling if he felt guilty about what he did or whether what he was feeling. After maintaining silence for a while, Ade continued talking.

Ade ➡ I’ll make it easy for you all to understand. I’m ending this all tonight. All of it. No more fights and senseless deaths.
.

Eze ➡ That doesn’t justify killing innocent people.
.

Ade ➡ Those people aren’t innocent. They have connections with the Executioners so I decided to end them all. There will be no more Executioners ever again. It’s over.

Eve ➡ Okay, so its over now?
.

Ade ➡ No. It’s not.
.

Iwonbi ➡ What do you mean?
.

Ade ➡ I said I’m ending it all tonight and that includes us as well. As long as the elites remain, our kind will never be accepted. So I’m ending it all tonight. Both Executioners and Elites have to go.

Jennifer ➡ This is insane! So what now? You’re going to kill us, is that it?
.

Ade ➡ (silent)
.

Everyone shivered as Ade remained silent. Was he really serious about this? How could he even think of such a thing! His son is an elite as well, is he going to kill him too?
.

Sonny ➡ This is wrong and you know it.
.

Ade ➡ No.. It’s not. It’s the only logical thing to do.
.

Sonny ➡ What about your son? Are you going to kill him as well?
.

Ade ➡ I never said that.
.

Sonny ➡ But your silence says otherwise.
.

Laila ➡ The Executioners are the threat not us.
.

Ade ➡ Yes but so are we. We’ve been at war for so long that many innocent lives have been lost.

Jennifer ➡ I see where this is coming from. Your parents were never innocent. You’re using your anger to justify your acts.
.

Ade ➡ I understand my parents are not innocent but I’m not doing this out of anger. I also forgive Felicia for what she did but as long as we exist, there will always be someone or some people that will have the same mindset as the Executioners. This has to end.
.

Kabir ➡ But we protect people.
.

Ade ➡ It doesn’t matter Kabir, the Nova agency is no more. Everything ends tonight.
.

Felicia ➡ So what now?
.

Ade ➡ Now I end it.
.

Sunday ➡ Not on my watch o. COLLECT!
.

In that moment, Sunday struck Ade with a powerful blast of force that blew half of the building away. We were shocked at what happened but we knew there was no going back now.
After Sunday blasted Ade away, everyone rushed outside to face him. We were hoping that Sunday’s blast to weaken him but it did nothing. As we all converged outside, Ade faced us and then prepared himself for a fight.

Ade ➡ You really want to do this?
.

Felicia ➡ You gave us no choice.
.

Kabir ➡ Stand down Ade. We can talk this out.
.

Ade ➡ There’s nothing to talk about. This has to happen.
.

Gabriel ➡ Good, that means say I no go hold back at all.
.

After his statement, Gabriel began to produce electric sparks from his body like a lightning bolt and as soon as he had charged up enough power, he fired a powerful blast of electric current at Ade.
Fighting Ade wasn’t as easy as we all anticipated cause the guy had improved greatly during his time off.
Seeing that Gabriel had made his move, Ade began to move very fast heading towards us. Sunday tried to blast him off again but Ade sunk himself into the road completely.

Sunday ➡ Where the werey dey?

Ali ➡ Damn it.. I hate it when he does that.
.

Eze ➡ Gabriel! Move!
.

Before Gabriel could do that, Ade reemerged from the ground and landed a powerful uppercut to him. Gabriel tried to retaliate but Ade creamed him with another powerful blow that sent him flying. Just when we though we were out matched, Chris appeared out of nowhere and tried to punch Ade but his attacks were ineffective cause Ade’s body was now like thin air. As Chris was about to strike again, Ade caught him instantly by the throat. We couldn’t believe it, the fastest elite caught effortless right before our very eyes.
Chris tried to break himself free but Ade separated his feet from the ground strangling him in midair. For a moment there we thought Ade was going to kill Chris but then he did something that we never thought was possible. After using his left hand to choke Chris in mid air, Ade then used his right hand and placed it on his forehead ; within a matter of seconds, some kind of white energy began to come out Chris’s face and Ade’s hands was sucking it in. However just as Ade was in the mid of doing that, Omotola came out of nowhere and knocked Ade with her magic freeing Chris from his grasp.

Omotola ➡ He needs to be stopped now!.
.

Kabir ➡ That’s what we’re trying to do.
.

Omotola ➡ You don’t understand. Ade’s trying to strip you all of our abilities.
.

Ade ➡ You think you can stop me!
.

Omotola ➡ I’ll kill you if I have to.
.

Ade ➡ We shall see. Spirits come!
.

Kaitlyn ➡ Ah see wahala o. I can’t see them.
.

Ali ➡ None of us can.
.

Eze ➡ Not all of us. The spirits are all coming behind Ade and they’re coming in fast.
.

Habib ➡ Back off everyone, I’ll take it from here.
.

Ifeanyi ➡ Guy, where you dey since?
.

Habib ➡ Never mind just cover your eyes and move away from here.
.

We all did as Habib said and as soon as we reached a safe distance, he cleared his voice and then unleashed a powerful sonic scream that obliterated not only Ade and his spirits but the streets as well. Before Habib used loud whistling sounds for his attacks but now he was using the big gun. As soon as Habib unleashed his sounds wave, Ade was struck with pain that he fell on his knees covering his bleeding ears. According to Eze, his spirits too had been scattered by the sonic scream. Despite bring Ade to his knees, Habib didn’t stop, he kept on unleashing his sound waves none stop and seeing that this could kill Ade, Susan began to get worried.

Susan ➡ We have to stop now.
.

Ali ➡ Not until Ade goes down.
.

Susan ➡ He’s killing him.
.

Gabriel ➡ So what? Ade was about to do the same.
.

Susan ➡ I won’t stand for this.
.

Kaitlyn ➡ Susan no!
.

In that moment, Susan used her ability to knock Habib aside saving Ade for some moments. Habib who was pissed by this turn his attention on Susan and blew her away with a small but loud whistle but before he could turn around and continued what he was doing, Ade had already gotten to him. Within a blink of an eye, Ade slammed Habib into a nearby car and then placed his right hand on his face sucking out his powers.

Sonny ➡ We have to help him.
.

Josephine ➡ Don’t worry, we have a plan in place!
.

Lola ➡ Habib doesn’t have much time left.
.

Ace ➡ Alright everyone. Stand back.
.

Lola ➡ What is this?
.

Ace ➡ A shockwave cannon! It’s impact is enough to destroy a small neighborhood.
.

Sonny ➡ Won’t it kill Ade?
.

Ace ➡ Not if I reduce the output. Hold on.
.

Ace’s shockwave cannon was like that of a machine gun but the only different is this one has only one hole that unleashes powerful shockwave. After activating the shock wave cannon , Ace fired it on Ade and it worked more than expected. The impact did quite a lot of damage but luckily for us, Habib was safe but we couldn’t say the same for Ade. After he was shot with the shockwave cannon, his body began to faze in a glitch like manner. The poor guy couldn’t move either and judging from the look on his face, he was in alot of pain.
In that moment, Ace was about to fire about shot at Ade but I decided to stop him. Everyone was surprised but I didn’t care. Bad or not, Ade wasn’t wrong about what he said or what he was doing, everyone saw him as a villain but not me.

Ace ➡ Kid, what are you doing?
.

Sonny ➡ Stopping you before you make a mistake.
.

Ali ➡ He’s trying to kill us. He’s our enemy.
.

Sonny ➡ No he’s not. Are you serious going to standby and watch him die? Some of you guys have been friends with him for a decade now and you’re just going to stand by and do nothing!
Ade was right about he said, everything. He wasn’t trying to kill us, he was simply trying to put an end to a senseless war that has been going on for thousands for years. Because of this war, he lost his parents and childhood and that hurts, I know what it feels like and I know most of you do.
Killing the Executioners was the logical thing to do though it was gruesome and erasing the idea of being elites is the only way to end this war. Even if the Executioners are gone there are some that will never accept our existence and before you know there will be another group like the Executioners or far worse.
Ade was right but he was wrong about one thing, he should have talked to you guys about it. He never meant any harm, he was just trying to do that right thing and that was ending this senseless bloody rivalry. Think about it guys.

Everyone remained quiet and began to process what I had said. I was glad to see I was getting through them, let them at least see things from Ade’s point of view.

Kabir ➡ Thanks for the talk kid.
.

Chioma ➡ Thank you from stopping us from doing the unthinkable. So what do we do now?
.

Ace ➡ We’ll just have to restrain Ade and talk to him.
.

Samson ➡ Guys, we have a problem. Ade’s not here.
.

Iwonbi ➡ Where is he?
.

Athena ➡ U guess the shockwave cannon killed him.
.

Eve ➡ has anyone seen Felicia? I haven’t seen her since this fight began.
.

Teresa ➡ Uh everyone!
.

Kabir ➡ What is it, Teresa?
.

Teresa ➡ I think there’s something you might want to hear now in the building.
.

In that moment, we all rushed into the building to see what Teresa was talking about and as soon as we got there, she played us a footage of Monica’s last confession before she eventually died and it wasn’t pleasing at all.

Monica ➡ Those fools! They think they’ve won. By tomorrow, the whole world will know about their existence and they will be hunted like dogs. No elites will be safe ever again. (Clip ends)

Naomi ➡ Is this true?
.

Kaitlyn ➡ She’s just bluffing.
.

Samson ➡ No she’s not. Why would she? What’s she got to lose?
.

Eve ➡ Then what did she do?
.

Sonny ➡ I think I know. She must have had footages of the elites in her lab uploaded on the web.

Kabir ➡ Can’t we get the footages?

Destiny ➡ It’s too late.

Eve ➡ Sister, you’re awake.

Susan ➡ What do we do now?
