∆ PIERCE FAMILY HOME ∆
Anthony Campbell sat in his office starring at a old picture, he was so lost in thought that he didn’t hear the knock from the door until the person knocking walk into the room.
“Good evening sir” a man who had a harsh expression on his face greeted.
“If you are going to give me good news then start spilling but if you aren’t, I suggest you….”
“Have found her” the man with the harsh expression said quickly bringing Anthony gaze on him.
“Tell me more, Marcus” Anthony urged just as Marcus put a folder on his table.
“Turns out she’s been living here all this while and her daughter is definitely a student in royale college” Marcus replied.
“I knew it! That was why I enrolled Pierce there but the stupid boy is just wasting my precious time by not doing a thing” Anthony said.
“So do you want me to find out more about them or….”
“No. Your work is done here Marcus, you can leave” Anthony said giving him a cheque.
As soon as Marcus left, Anthony looked over the things Marcus brought and smiled.
“Now it’s up to me to do some thing ” he muttered starring at the picture once again.
“We are going to see each other soon, my love and this time I won’t let you go easily” he added still starring at the picture.

∆ HOSPITAL ∆
Pierce let out a sigh as he couldn’t sleep, it’s been hours since Joanna left and he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
She left thinking the worst of him, he didn’t mean to kiss her but having her close to him made him feel strange and he couldn’t control the impulse.
He still believes himself in love with Jocelyn, so why on earth did he kiss Joanna?
He was still brooding about it when the door open and a girl ran into the room.
“Excuse me for barging in but please I need some where to hide” she said searching for a place to hide.
“Then do that some where else” Pierce said but she wasn’t listening.
She went under his bed and came out immediately.
“They will definitely see me, you won’t mind if I stay here right?” She asked as she pulled back the sheets and got into it pulling the cover over herself.
“What are you doing?” Pierce asked.
“Please help me, if they find me then am dead meat” She said underneath the sheets.
“Who will find you and…..” He stop talking when the door open and two men in black walk into the room.
“Did a girl perhaps come into this room?” One of the men asked.
“Well…..as you can see, am the only one here” he replied pulling the sheets over himself and the girl properly.
“Really? If you do see a girl, then please don’t hesitate to call us” one of them said handing their card to him.
“I will” Pierce replied as he took the card and when they were gone, he pulled back the sheets to stare at the girl.
“Just what sort of trouble did you get yourself in ?” Pierce asked.
“Well I kind of listen in on their conversation and it turns out that those two men are gay, the worst part of it is that they are both married and being some one who couldn’t just sit back and watch them deceive their wives, I ended up spilling the whole thing to them”the girl said.
“And now you are running looking for help when you messed up their marriage?” Pierce asked.
“I just had to say it, I hate cheating men” She replied.
“Then you might as well get out of my room, I came here to get treated not to get involved with you” Pierce said pushing her off his bed.
She landed on the floor on her butt before glaring up at him.
“That was harsh, I know it was meddle some for me interfering in their affair but then you have no right to judge me cause I did the right thing” She said getting off the floor.
‘”whatever just leave my room, I need to get some sleep” Pierce said.
“I sure will, Jerk” she said turning to leave only to stop to stare at him.
“You won’t call those people right?” She asked.
“I have no interest in you or them whatsoever ” he said non chalantly.
“I hope so cause if you do call those men on me, am gonna come back for you and I sure will snap off your tongue” she threatened before leaving his room.
“Did she just threaten me?” Pierce ask no one in particular.
“Ungrateful wretch ” He added and at that moment, the door open to reveal the girl again.
“Am not an ungrateful wretch! Stupid” she called before shutting his door.
What was that? How come she heard him when he only whispered that part to himself? He thought as he lay back on his bed.

∆ FRANCIS & JOANNA APARTMENT ∆
“I can’t believe that I have the right to be like this with you now” Francis said behind her even as they both lay curled up on the sofa.
With Francis behind her while she stayed in front of him.
“What right?” Joanna asked turning to stare at him.
“The right of being your boyfriend” he said bending swiftly to kiss her.
“You keep on doing that” she said touching her swollen lips which Francis couldn’t resist.
“That’s because you keep on telling me to do it” he mummured.
“But I never said that” she said.
“Don’t forget that I can read your thoughts” he said which got her covering her face in embarrassment.
“Don’t worry, your most dirty thoughts will be safe with me” he said prising her hands away from her face.
“Let me ask? Can you hear my thoughts even though am very far away?” She asked and he nodded.
“I can and that only happens with you, I can’t hear other people’s thought except when am close to them but that’s a different case with you” he answered.
“Then why didn’t you answer me earlier! Do you know how worried I was?” She said pulling his cheek.

“Well I was a bit pissed off, I heard you clearly telling me to call you but I was feeling hurt, I didn’t know that your heart belong to me then” He said chuckling softly which made him very handsome.
Joanna gulped down a large chunk of spit as she thought of some thing dirty and knowing that he must have heard, she quickly sat up, intent on going to her room but he pulled her back.
“Not so fast, I heard that” he said.
“Don’t pay attention to it, it’s just my…..” She was cut off abruptly when he lean towards her and gently bit her on the neck causing a gasp from her.
“You said you wanted me to brand you as mine” he said.
“But not that way” Joanna said even as he pulled her closer.
“What way then? Are you suggesting we take it to the bed room?” He asked giving her a naughty wink.
Feeling flustered and blushing deeply by what he meant, she smack his arm causing him to yell out.
“Am sorry, I didn’t mean to. It’s just that you keep on saying dirty stuffs” she said looking a bit shy.
“You were the one thinking them and I only said it out and besides why does your smack hurts a lot?” He asked.
“Well that’s because my power is in my fist” she said raising her hand up for him.
“Really?” He asked and she nodded.
“Watch this” she said getting up to find a iron rod which she easily broke into two leaving Francis jaw dropping.
“That’s awesome ” Francis said starring at her in awe.
“Just as you can hear my thoughts, my power are within my fist and so here is the thing. You can’t tell anyone about it okay and also your powers must be used for good intentions and not bad or you might end up losing it” she said as she came seat on the sofa with him.
“Okay” he said smiling down at her.
“As long as you are with me then I won’t be losing it” he said kissing her again.
She was starring up at him with so much love in her eyes when she got a text.
★ DON’T FORGET TO COME HOME TOMORROW, YOUR COUSINS WILL BE WAITING ★ her mother texted.
“I totally forgot” she said still starring at her phone.
“What?”
“I will be staying at home for a while” she said which cause a frown on his face.
“My cousins just arrived from L.A and I have to be around to welcome them, so…..”
“So you will be staying with them for a while. I understand but I will miss you” he said looking cute.
“You surely will see me in school and besides you will be able to call me”
” Fine then but your cousins, tell me more about them?” Francis asked.
“Well my Granny didn’t only give birth to my mom alone, she gave birth to my mom’s sister and just like my Mom, my aunt found her soul mate and gave birth to twins. A girl and a boy”
“And the girl is also blessed with powers right?” Francis asked and she nodded.
“Alice power is listening in on people conversation. It’s quiet similar to your power, while you listen to people thoughts, she can only hear them when they speak and she’s one trouble maker with it ” Joanna smile thinking of her trouble some cousin.
“Well since she will be staying I will meet her some day but what about her twin brother? Does he have some special power too?” Francis asked.
“No? Only girls are gifted powers in our family ” Joanna answered.
“Since that will be all, I better go and get some rest. It will be a long day tomorrow” she said standing up to leave and at the same time, Francis stood up and lifted her into his arms before she could do a thing.
“What are you doing?” The startled Joanna asked.
“Since you will be gone for a while and I will end up missing you, I better make use of this night” he said taking her to his room.
“Francis, we can’t” she said blushing softly when he set her on the bed.
“What dirty thing are you thinking again?” He asked getting on the bed beside her.
“I only want to cuddle you in my arms, I don’t have a dirty mind like you” he added even as she snuggle close to him, breathing in his scent.
With his body around her, she close her eyes and slept in comfort and Francis who was awake a bit longer stared down at her sleepy face and smiled before drifting into oblivion.

∆ JOANNA FAMILY HOUSE ∆
As soon as Joanna got home the next day, she was envelope in a warm hug by her cousin.
“How have you been, Shortie” Kylie asked ruffling her hair.
“Am not a Shortie, when will you stop calling me that?” She asked wanting to punch his arm when he move away.
“That fist of yours is like rock itself, I better avoid it” Kylie said as they both went further into the house.
After saying hello to her parents and grandparents, she went to the guest room where she knew Alice would be.
Joanna found Alice standing by the balcony obviously listening on someone conversation.
“Eavesdropping again?” Joanna said which got Alice swirling around.
“Jo” Alice called in excitement before going to give her a hug.
“Have missed you like crazy” Alice said as they both sat on the bed.
“So do I and am glad that you both will be staying here for a few days” she said.
“Well mom and dad just wants us to spend our vacation period here but Kylie and I plan on enrolling In your school” Alice confessed.
“Are you sure? But L.A school is more better than this place” Joanna admitted.
“It is but most of the guys there are all brain dead. None of them have something upstairs except when it comes to bed and s*x and you know that I have to get my soul mate too” Alice said.
“I heard you already shared your second kiss with your soul mate” Alice added.
“Actually, we’ve shared our third kiss but mom and dad do not know about it”. Joanna said.
“Really? Show me a picture of this soul mate of yours” Alice demanded and Joanna did only to hear Alice rave about how handsome Francis is.
“Would I be able to find a soul mate as handsome as yours?” Alice asked.
“You sure will know when you meet the right guy” Joanna said.
“And that’s why am going to study here, so I can find someone as perfect as your Francis, do you think someone like that is out there for me?” Alice asked.
“Well if you believe, then he is” Joanna replied as they both went back to checking out Francis picture.
