Because am your mate,I didn’t say that out loud instead I just rest my head on his shoulder,a smile made it way to my face when his arm came up around me.
In your face Madison!
We stayed quiet for few seconds,Jason finally spoke up and I lift my head up to have a better look at his face as he spoke.
“I don’t know what happened between Kelly and I…it just so confusing,the fact that she had changed or the fact that I can’t feel the spark between us”He says.
I feel so bad,I hate Madison so much I wish I can kill her she claim to love Jason then why would she put him in such a state? A state of confusion where he doesn’t know who to believe what right or what wrong.
Jake please hurry up I need you I pleaded deep down in,side me,my eyes snap open when I felt Jason’s hander my chin.
“Am sorry for all the things she say to you..am gonna sort it out,I will be leaving tomorrow and I won’t return until two days later take care of yourself okay?”He k-ss my forehead and went to the other side of the bed to sleep.
But I couldn’t I lay on my side thinking hærd,Jason is going on a business trip,he would return two days later if am going to be Victoria then I should be scared of her,cause I know she would try something silly.
I didn’t realize I had fallen asleep u woke up around two pm in at noon! Gosh I must have been so tired and now Jason already left without goodbye from me.
My lunch was already dropped for me on the table so I didn’t need to go downstairs well things have improved cause I would have to go downstairs for this meaning I would have bump into Madison which is the last thing I want right now.
Speaking of the devil the door of my room burst open and she walk in glaring at me this time she wasn’t alone Darby followed behind like some sort of puppet I can’t still believe she used to be my best friend.
“What do you guys want”I asked.
“She has the guts to mess with me Darby,you are just a servant girl yet you got the nerve let see who’s gonna save you this time”Madison said the push me out of the room.
I staggered and hit my head on the door frame,I wince as I saw blood drip put of my forehead,I can’t really fight back since am Victoria which means I will have to bear everything they do until Jason or Jake come back.
“You’re right Madison…the nerve of her”Darby agreed eyeing me with such content then she told Madision to get Tanya…at the mention of Tanya I became scared Maddie sense it and smirked before leaving the room.
I was staring at Madison when suddenly Darby grab me and slam me against the wall.
“What do you take me for Kelly? A fool? Do you think I don’t know you’re Kelly? You may. have fooled Madison but never will you be able to fool Darby.In fact I knew you were going to come back which is why I gold the guard to watch out for you”She sneered at me.
I stare at her in shock so all this while she knew I was Kelly? Then why didn’t she say a thing to Madison?
I compose myself quickly so she wouldn’t see how much her revelation had shock me “So what your plan? Are you gonna kill me”I glare at her.
“No Kelly Haven Horton.I’m going to do much worse”She wispered in my ear then walk off.
I slowly sink down the floor why won’t she just understand I didn’t kill Leo,he’s like a best friend to me so I would never,I shouldn’t even pity the both of them cause they don’t deserve it and once am done with em…they are gonna regret ever messing with Kelly.
“So you think you’re the queen now”Tanya spat at me glaring as I stood in the middle of the kitchen with my head bow,the other servant stare at me in disgust.
“No”I reply.
The next thing I head was a slap on my cheek,I stare at Tanya as tears drop from my cheek.
“When am talking to you! Bitch you don’t dare talk back”She sneered grabbing me by the neck and squeezing it hærd,I choke struggle for her to free me and when she finally did she push me away.
I gro-n on the floor choking my head drop back when I spy Darby walking into the kitchen with smiled written all over her face.
“You guys should leave us alone and Tanya send the guards in with the special instrument”She took a sit and sat not very far away from me.
All the servant hurried out of the room leaving Darby and I alone then two heavy guards walk into the room with hot metal I shivered but I couldn’t get up,Tanya had choke me to a point I couldn’t breath properly again.
Jason where are you? Please I need you.I cried silently as the guy pick me up and tied me to a chair.
“You need my brother Kelly and now I will torture you to your death”Darby sneered with a dark look on her face,I couldn’t recognized her anymore and I struggle in the chair for freedom.
For once ever since the wh0le thing begin…I begin to cry like really tears then he started choking me,I am going to die today there’s no doubt about it and my best friend is going to be the end of me.
“Darby please”I pleaded as she pick up a hot knife.
“Didn’t my brother begged your mate not to kill him?”She asked.
I couldn’t talk,the tears just keep coming and coming.
“When I talk bitch you answer me”She scre-med at me slapping me across my cheek.
“Didn’t my brother begged Jason to please before he rip him apart?”She repeated.
“Darby…he tried to rape me,why are you ignoring that!”
“But he didn’t…did he”She taunted.
“If Jason hadn’t come on time he would have rape me”I cried.
“But he came on time didn’t he”She slap me again.
“Yes”I cried h-rder.”He challenge him and when I tried to step in Nathan drag me to my room saying I couldn’t stop the fight am so sorry Darby please don’t do this”I pleaded.
“Too late”I close my eyes as she bring the hot coal to my leg and knew she would do it and this time nobody is going to save me.

When I coughed,i’d cough out blood which made Nathan stop abruptly staring at me,I look back at him wondering what was wrong with me.
Ever since I left home I have been feeling so uneasy a part of me didn’t want to leave but seeing how much this meeting is important I didn’t seems to bother much about it.I put it aside and here I am regretting my actions already.
“Don’t worry too much”Nathan patted my back.
“But you’re worried right”I raise an eyebrow at him.
He just sighs “Darby and I have been having problems ever since her brother died she has been acting so strangely,and she has become more secretive”He explained.
“Same goes with Kelly but mine is much worse I can’t seems to figure out my feelings for her I do…it just nothing instead I feel happy and more relaxed when am with Victoria”Then the image of the mark I had seen on her neck flash before my eyes and I staggered with the force of it.
Something doesn’t seems right everything about Victoria scre-m familiar.
There’s something more about that girl.
“I think we should go back home”Nathan suggested.
“Yeah you’re right but you should go ahead and represent me at the meeting I have to be home”I quickly got into the car,whatever that is happening at home I hope I get there before it too late cause I feel so uneasy.

I was waiting for it,waiting for her to end me my only regret would be that I didn’t see Jason for the last time but it never came when I look up I saw Darby staring at me with tears in her eyes.
She couldn’t do it,the knife had drop and she was sobbing.
“Why does it have to be you! I love you so much Kelly then why did you do this to me!”She cried.
I couldn’t say a word what was I supposed to say? I was so involve in my own hate towards her and my own problem I didn’t know what she was facing the fact that her best friend mate killed her only brother who was supposed to lead her parents pack.
The only heir her family have and for her to turn against her best friend, I felt my hatred for her vanish as I watch her slide to the floor slowly still crying.
“My parents are miserable,they disown me,I was banished from my pack,I was reject by my own pack and disown by my family…why shouldn’t I hate you? I lost everything because of you while you got everything”She weep.
“Why couldn’t we be even? I can’t kill you Kelly I wish I can! I want to kill you but you’re my best friend I can’t kill you but I can’t live with knowing my parents hate me and Nathan has started cheating on me!”She cried h-rder.
“The same way Jason ignored Madison right now is the sane way Nathan is ignoring me,I lose both my parents and mate,Nathan didn’t reach out to me! None of you know what am going through and it just make sense to blame you…because your mate did that to me and the fact that you didn’t reach out too made it worst! I lost my best friend,mate, parents,brother,pack at the same time”.
“I reach out on Madison supposed funeral but you ignored me and insulted me.You wouldn’t let me”I replied.
“Because I was angry! I just lost my brother you should have try h-rder then I wouldn’t have done this…I wanted to kill Jason but I can’t he’s too powerful and when I figured out If you’re gone Jason would lose most of his power then why not…I plan on placing you in coma then kill Jason then after that we could return to the city where we lived before all this happened”.
To say I was speechless,she look so weak right now on the floor crying,her hair was rough like a car had run her over.
“I’m sorry”I whispered.
“It too late now…you probably hate me! Nathan hate me! My parents and pack hate me so why should I live? And I hate myself”Before I could protest she grab the hot knife and dig in into her ribcage.
Then she growled,her wh0le body turning gray then she slump down on the floor.

Then she growled,her wh0le body turned gray then she slump down on the floor.
This happens within a second,I couldn’t stop my own scre-ms as I struggle out of the rope I was tied with and much to my surprise the rope came lose and I rush towards Darby.
“Darby please wake up! Talk to me? I don’t hate you I promise”I cried well I once hate her though but hearing all her reason I don’t actually blame her well am still mad at her though but it not to the point of seeing her dead.
Even though it is what I wanted after all she’s my best friend.
“What have you done to her! You killed her”Tanya scre-med at me pushing me away from Darby’s body I struggle to go back to her,other servants came into the room and stare at me stunned am sure they believed I killed Darby.
“You killed her”Madison yelled at me grabbing me by the neck,this time I fought back and kick her hærd she let me go and held her side which I had kicked.
“This is all your fault!”I cried.
“You shall be hanged for this terrible things you have done! You killed the beta mate how could you and you still have the audacity to defend yourself and blame someone else”Tanya sneered at me.
“No I didn’t I promise you knew I was tied up didn’t you”I begged for them to understand.
“What happened?”Jason sighs as he walk into the kitchen then seeing Darby’s body his eyes w¡den in shock.
“I said what the hell happen here? Who did this disgusting act?”Jason growled.
“This is what happen when you make a servant sleeps in your bed.Victoria did she killed poor Darby can you believe it? She killed my best friend”Then she started with her fake tears.
Jason turn to look at me in shock,I look back at him begging him to trust me cause I would never think of doing this and how dare Madison cliam to be Darby’s best friend such a lair and a pretender but after all what the one expert from a girl like her.
“You did this?”Jason ask me calmly.
“No..I didn’t”I replied.
“You lair!”Tanya scre-med at me “You were only the two people left here so stop lying”.
“Everyone leave”Jason ordered his eyes not leaving mine,everyone left except for Madison when Jason turn around to growl at her she hurried left the room muttering something under her breath.
I was physically tired Darby killed herself Jake was no where to be found and if am not careful am going to be killed and my mate is going to be the one who ordered for me to be killed isn’t that scary enough?.
“Now look at me Victoria,did you kill her?”He asked.
“If you feel like her kill her then have me killed too! I really don’t care am tired of fighting I can’t do this anymore”I slowly slide to the floor while Jason stare at me confused.
“She’s my best friend and she was right about one thing ever since knowing you my life has been upside down am so sorry but I can’t do this”I cried burring my face unto my knee.
“Don’t let her sweet talk you Jason she killed your beta mate and she deserve to be punish”Madison sneered at me.
Then I lost it,I slap her hærd on the cheek then jump on her,we both fell on the floor.I took all my anger and frustration on her even if this is my last day on earth I feel like doing something to suddenly Jason lift me up and grab me,he glare at me then hand me over to the guard who took away.
I didn’t cry,I don’t think there was any tears left for me,I was lock up in my room for what seems like forever.
I wonder what Nathan would say about this will he blame me for what happened? Did he believe I killed his mate? Soon after I feel asleep.
I was woken up as I head the door of my bedroom crack open and Jason walk in looking stressed and concern,I move away from the bed to the far end of the wall he noticed this and glare at me.
“So you’re scared of me now?”He stated as he watch me crawl into a ball.
“No”I replied.
“Come here”He ordered.
“No”
“Why?”
“I don’t want to”
“Victoria will you stop being so childish and come here”He growled,I have no option but to go over to him,if I was Kelly right now God knows I wouldn’t have answer him but right now mu life is hanging in the balance.
When I reached him to my surprise he draw me between his legs then rest his head against mine well I didn’t know what to make of that and I felt myself starting to relax.
“She isn’t dead”He whispered.
“She isn’t?”Tears of joy slide down my cheek am so happy at least she didn’t die.
“But you must tell me what happened between you two…why did she kill herself?”I tense immediately what am I supposed to tell him? And if I do wouldn’t he think am crazy or making up stories since he doesn’t remember anything so I said the first thing that comes to my mind.
“When you left your mate kinda ordered me to be tortured,I was tied up to a chair then Darby came by she seems to be crying and when I asked her what happened she told me she have been having problems with Nathan that he’s cheating on her”Well that doesn’t sounds as good as I practiced it in,side my head.
“That doesn’t seems like a good reason why someone would want to kill themselves and hey…did you say Madison tried using those metal on you”Jason growled his wh0le body tensed.
“Yes”I replied.
It better if Madison take the blame for everything since everything is her fault and it all started with her stupid obsession with my mate.
Jason suddenly pull me along with I wonder where we are going until we stopped in Madison’s room where I used to sleep in,Jason kick the door open gosh he seems pretty angry he can’t properly knock or open the door.
Madison seems taken aback to see me no doubt she thought I would be rotten in prison.
“Kelly did you really try to torture Victoria?”He growled.
“What? Are you crazy? Do you think your Kelly would do something like that?”She hissed.
“Which is why am here tell me the truth now before I do something you least expect”Hr sneered.
“Stop this Jason! I said I did nothing is sort! Why are you letting this girl control you? She’s just a mare human and she mean nothing to you am your mate remember?”
“That the problem I will fix right now”He reported.
Both Madison and I frowned wondering what he was talking about.
“What do you mean”Madison asked.
“I Jason Damien Blake”I gasp Jason is going to reject Madison but he think Madison is me so technically he’s going to reject me by now Maddie isn’t worried in fact she’s smiling before Jason could mention my name I scre-med to get his attention tugging at his arm.
“Shut the f-ck up! Am Kelly”I cried out.
I don’t care if my game would be over at this point.
Madison frown at me staring at me as my words finally sink in then something happened again Jake teleported into the room with Dark moon finally! It high time they showed up.
“Okay…what going on here”Jason said.
“That’s Jake my friend and I’m Kelly…she’s Madison”I answered then removed the stupid nerdy glass Jake had given me.

Few minutes later Dark moon had manage to explain everything to Jason who look shocked and confuse at the same time she hadn’t even finish explaining Madison started to to cry well fake tears.
“Your games are over Maddie so quit acting like a child”I sneered at her.
“Jason are you doubting am your Kelly? How could you? I knew this would happen one day”She said.
“Madison shut up! Are you seriously doing this?”Jake sneered at her.
“The magic hasn’t completely wear off so I have to give this to you Alpha”Dark moon said giving Jason a potion Maddie stretch out to take it and I quickly grab it before she could reach for this.
“You will pay for this Kelly”Madison yelled before vanishing.
“There’s a witch out there backing her out don’t worry I will go after her to find out…you can give that to Alpha Jason”Dark moon said.
“If you’re going am coming with you”Jake said,and Dark moon actually blush before nodding her head well there’s something this ain’t telling me.
Well that for later.
I couldn’t wait to give this to Jason so he would remember me,I open it and reach to pour it in his mouth but he doge it.
“What was that for?”I asked.
“You lied to me! Everyone has been lying to me then how am I supposed to trust you? do I even know if you’re really my mate? I feel like a dummy”He hissed.
I couldn’t help but laugh at his words then when I realize he was serious I shut up immediately.
“Trust me Jason okay”He nodded then drank all of the potion just like Dark moon said he fell into a deep sleep I just have to wait for him to wake up.
In the mean time I decided to see Darby,I went to the pack clinic and I was directed to the ward where she is kept Nathan was with her and immediately he saw me he gave me a small smile.
“Is she okay”I ask quietly
“Yeah she’s out of coma already just in a deep sleep”He answered.
“Am sorry”
“For what?”He ask totally confused well that means Jason hadn’t told him what happened.
“Oh?…it isn’t really for fault it mine”Nathan replied.
Everyone is at fault but right now I want to be with my mate I hurried back to the pack house my in,side were jumping in excitement I hope Jason had woken up by the time I get back to the pack house.
As if the goddess answer my prayer when I walk in Jason already woken up reaching for the water on the nightstand drawer,I quickly help him and hand it over to him.
He drank it slowly and gave him back to him,I waited…why isn’t he calling me my name? Why aren’t we hugging now? does that mean he doesn’t remember me?
“Victoria”My heart slam painfully in my chest when he call me that.
So he didn’t remember me after all,I turn to leave but he pull me back them chuckled.
“You’re such a drama queen Kelly”He laughed hugging me.
