EPISODE 17
STAN’S POV
Drinking was never an option for me, as I knew I had a light head, even a little taste of an alcoholic drink could make me tipsy, but wetin man go do.
My next move was to observe those who were dancing in the dance floor to learn something new.
I’m a good learner, so seeing those graceful step, and the men acting like the perfect guys as they trolled on their partner in the most professional way you could think of.
My mind was on the dance floor when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder and I turned to see Ken with a bottle of whiskey and a glass filled to up to the middle level.
“Care for a glass?”
He asked me as he gulped down the glass, in one swift attempt, as he made a slight cough, and I could feel his eyes turn slightly red, as if lunging out smokes.
CHRISTABEL’S POV
I was on my own part with Gina while I observed Ken and the other cute guy with him.
They looked alike, just that Ken was fair in complexion, while the other guy was chocolate skinned. in a general view he is way cuter than Ken.
But to me I would prefer Ken over and over again.
Ken is just my ideal guy, funny, classic, cute dude, who was more on the jovial and happy side.
My greatest wish was to be noticed by him in this party and I’m gonna make that happen, come what may.
Though I don’t have the courage to approach him, but there are many ways to kill a rat.
GINA’S POV
I turned around to see Rosemary approach me while she smiled cheerfully, and I reciprocated the smile.
“I never knew you would come. wow welcome sweetheart.”
She said pleasantly surprised and I couldn’t help but let out a grin.
“lol, and here I’m I in flesh and blood.”
I said, and she ran up and hugged me.
While I muttered
“Happy birthday dear.”
“Thanks dear.”

She muttered as she let go off me.

don’t be surprised by her reaction, aside Christabel, I’m much of a loner, as I hærdly associate with anyone in class, and I don’t attend any social stuffs, so you can see the reason for her surprise.

She turned and left, when the celebrant was called up the stage by the DJ as the wh0le place went wild, as Rose walked up gracefully up the stage, with that mesmerising smile.

“Rose really is very beautiful.”

I said to Christabel beside me but got no reply and I turned around and didn’t see the girl I was with all this while and where the hell did she go?

KEN’S POV

I told him if he cared for a drink and his next reaction shocked me, as he grabbed the glass and gulped it down in one go and I couldn’t help but smile as I waited for the next wonder to happen. Shey you want to do like I do?

And according to my estimation, he clutched his chest as the hot liquid made a journey down his system, as I could feel his eyes turn bloodshot.

While he coughed out like a mad man, while still holding tightly to his chest.

“You didn’t tell me it was like this?”

He asked me while still coughing.
.
“And who told you not to sip it carefully and gently, just be thinking both of us are mate because we dey sleep for the same room.”

I told him, as he just ignored me and stared ahead.

I turned to see Christabel walking towards us, smiling.
.
And what is this one coming here to do? Shey she want to finish the disgrace her friend started in the afternoon.

I scoffed and turned to leave, but I turned and felt someone grab my hand.
EPISODE 18
KEN’S POV
I turned and saw Stan holding me in the arm with this serious look of “Guy seriously don’t act like a kind, common loose guard.”
I had no option but to cool down as she was already near us.
I just stared at her blankly, as what filled my heart was pity.
See fine girl, that is just killing herself over a guy wey no want her..
All this stuffs where they do say that most girls crush on a guy and falls carelessly for him, to real men it’s not a something that is fun like as it really is a kind of annoying, because it even blocks the way for those you truly love, as they might think you are a player or something like that.
I just looked on while she arrived at our front and said.
“Hi cuties.”
The mumu beside me beamed at her, while I just stared on without replying, while I just nodded my head.
“I’m I welcomed to join you guys?”
She asked and Stan nodded his head eagerly.
“It would be our pleasure to have a beauty in our midst.”
He said boldly while smiling and I couldn’t help but laugh hehehehehe!! In my mind, the alcohol Don start to play it’s part, on my guy, mumu wey no fit talk to girl just de use this one de form gentleman.
Just then, Ebuka arrived and after greeting us, Stanley stylishly led him out as it just remained, me and her.

Thunder wey no get mama and Papa, fire the both of you.

I cursed silently in my mind as i didn’t know what to tell her.

After a brief moment of silence.

I heard her beautiful voice say.
.
“Hi Ken.”
.
“Hi. Wotsup.”
I replied her.
.
“Do you care for a dance?”
She said smiling encouragingly at me.
.
I was lost for words as I didn’t know what to reply her, but I know one thing, saying no to her was impossible as that would be an insult and a lost of prestige to her.

“OK sweetie, let’s go.”
.
I said as I held out my hand and she grabbed my hand while we rolled to the dance floor.

GINA’S POV

I was super shocked when, i saw Christabel with Ken, nawaoooo!!

This girl get mind ooo! I said as I smiled, while looking at her.

I was more intrigued when I saw the new guy leave stylishly leave with Ebuka, normal guys tricks, as i have learnt to know.

STAN’S POV

I could feel the impact of the drink on me as I could feel this boldness and light head.
.
I was even surprised to that I was the one talking to the girl Ken was with that I couldn’t help but tap my forehead as I asked myself, are you really the one?
.
I was still busy watching Ebuka who was already in between two girls, who had their b-ob’s showing through their transparent clothes as they pressed him in between.

“This guy they enjoy oooo!!”

I couldn’t help but mutter.

“Who is enjoying?”

I heard someone say behind me.

I turned around and who i saw made me surprised.

The DJ, peered out his mouth as he scre-med out.

“Welcome to the birthday of one of the most beautiful girl in school, a paragon, so many guys crush and a beauty in her own making. Let out scre-ms of joy as she approach the stage.”

The DJ scre-med out while the wh0le place got rowdy, as scre-ms permeated the wh0le environ.

Rosemary climbed up the stage as she let out a short appreciative speech.

“First on the list, is an open floor dance by the celebrant with any guy of his choice from the floor and the second is the presentation of gifts and the third event is the Game called Truth and Dare, and other ones.”

“OK let’s first start with the open floor dance.”

The DJ scre-med out.

STAN’S POV
.
My heart nearly jumped into my stomach when I heard what the DJ said.
.
Though I’m slightly drunk it doesn’t mean I’m not clarified of what’s happening around me, I fully understand.

I was still there when I saw her hold the take the earpod from the DJ as she started looking around and her gaze paused at where I was.
