CHAPTER 26&27

Draco tightened his palm on Kavita’s neck while replaying how she slapped JoJo in his head.

Kavita was already gasping for breath when JoJo stood.

“Draco” she called, but he wasn’t even hearing her.

“Draco!” She called loudly, and that was when her voice reached his ears.

He looked back slowly, and when their eyes met, he started calming down.

“Let her go, she’s… she’s dying” she said gently, and Draco faced Kavita again, still feeling reluctant to let her go.

“Please…” Jojo pleaded, and Draco slowly removed her hand from Kavita’s neck.

She fell on the ground, holding her swollen red neck as she started coughing.

Her eyes were so red and blood was still draining from her nose.

Draco walked away from her and went to get his camera from where he dropped it, then he grabbed JoJo’s hand and left the place with her.

Kavita kept coughing, looking so tired and weak with redness all-over her neck.

It got to a point and she started coughing out blood.

She was still on it when Kelly came in with Kent, and Kelly squatted in front of her.

“You don’t have to suffer, you can just hold my hand and I’ll pull you up” he smiled, offering an hand.

Kavita rolled eyes at him before standing up by herself.

“Get the f*ck away” she spat blood and walked out on them.

“She’s tough” Kent grinned.

“She’s the toughest female mystic assassin, what were you expecting?” Kelly rolled eyes.

“But definitely not strong in front of Draco” Kent replied as they walked out of the amphitheatre.

“He’s a metal, you won’t know what I’m talking about if you haven’t tasted his punch before, but he’s in the cult because he wants to revenge his sister’s death” Kelly replied.

“That’s new” Kent said.

“Yeah, and that’s why I said I know the string to pull if I wanna get him” Kelly smiled evilly.

“What string?” Kent asked, and Kelly smiled slowly.

Draco got to the hallway with JoJo and stopped walking, then he let go of her hand.

Immediately she stopped feeling the coldness of his palm, she folded her palms slowly.

“You almost killed…her” she said slowly.

“Are you scared of me?” He asked, and she quickly shook her head.

“No, I was just… shocked” she replied.

“Why?”

“Because of me, you did that again and….

He interrupted by taking her hand.

The bandages are covered with blood already.

“When you get hurt, I feel angry” he said as he stared at the hands.

“Why?” She asked curiously, looking up into his brown eyes.

“I haven’t figured it out yet” he replied, staring back at her.

He eventually unwrapped the bloody bandages from her hands and when he saw the wounds, his eyes showed how worried he became.

“We need to get this treated properly” he said.

“No, the next class is in ten minutes, I can’t miss it” she replied.

“He’s gonna be lecturing about historical museums, I’ll teach you” he said, and she looks surprised.

“How did you know?”

“The syllabus” he replied, pulling her out of the room.

JoJo smiled and followed him happily.

She was looking for JoJo when she saw them.

She started staring at them, feeling slightly uncomfortable with the way Draco held her hand.

Till they got to the park, her eyes were on them.

“Get in” Draco said, opening the door when they got to his sleek car.

JoJo went in with a smile on her face, and Draco shut the door before joining her.

He drove out of the school.

Sunflowers came out from behind a car, they’ve actually been hiding there, watching Draco and JoJo.

“Crap! Crazy crap!” Abigail ranted jealously.

Cora dipped her hand into her dyed hair frustratingly, walking around.

“Earlier it was Butter punching Draco because of her in the forest, she even went hiking with Draco, and now she entered Draco’s car?” She said.

v×rgiπia started hitting her heels angrily on the nearest car, not minding who the owner is.

She went on till she broke one of the lights.

“Arrggg!!!” She s¢ræmed like a banshee, breathing hærd too.

“Are we gonna continue like this?, We suddenly became powerless like we’re nothing, I’m going crazy here!” Abigail said hotly.

“We’re not powerless” Cora smirked, and the others faced her.

“What do you mean?” v×rgiπia asked.

Cora gestured for them to come closer which they did.

She whispered something in their ears, and they all smiled evilly.

3PM★ ARTS CLUB CENTER**

Snow was already holding her camera, looking around for any sign of JoJo and Draco, but they’re not back yet.

Butter was doing the same, his eyes are on the door, expecting JoJo to come in anytime, he was already getting impatient.

“New members, get ready for the trainings, you’ll get trained by the seniors till you get acquainted with what exactly is happening here” director Joe announced.

That was when JoJo came in, her palms has new bandages already.

Butter smiled immediately, but when Draco came in behind her, his smile dissipated.

“JoJo Collins, what’s up with your hands?” Miss Cindy asked, looking at the bandages.

“Slight wounds” she replied cheerfully.

“You won’t be able to train, you should…

“No no miss!, it’s my first day I can’t be left out” she quickly replied and rushed into the changing room to change.

Draco made his way to the photographers angle, but his eyes met with Butter’s as he walked.

They were glaring at each other till he got to his s₱0t and dropped his bag.

He got his camera and girls shrouded him as usual.

👥 I really wanna learn how to use the camera from you!

He sighed and looked back at them coldly.

“I’m never gonna be a trainer” he said.

“You know that’s impossible Draco, you’re the most experienced senior member here, you’re getting a student” director Joe said, and Draco sighed.

“Snow Denmark?”

“Yes director!” She quickly came forward.

“He’ll be your trainer” director Joe instructed.

“Yes sir” Snow replied happily, standing in front of Draco.

“Hi trainer!” She waved shortly.

Draco looked away from her and her hand went down as he got the camera stand and positioned it.

Snow stood in front of it, and he stood behind her.

“From the pictures you snapped at the audition, I found out that your problem is angles, if you can’t calculate angles accurately with your eyes, you’ll capture trash” he said.

“How do I calculate?” She asked, and he came closer.

He repositioned her fingers on the buttons, and she could feel her heart pounding immediately his cold hands touched hers.

She held her breath and lost concentration, then her body started shaking at the coldness.

“What’s wrong?” His dulcet voice asked from behind, and when his warm tickling breath brushed her neck, she felt her heart beating faster.

“Im…I’m fine” she stuttered nervously, and Draco stepped back from her.

“Go get some fresh air and come back” he said and walked away from her.

Snow bit her lip slightly, watching as he started pasting some pictures on the wall.

“Modellers!, To the gym!” Miss Cindy announced, and everyone of them started moving.

Jojo came out of the changing room wearing black leggings and white singlet, she tied her hair in a ponytail.

“JoJo” Butter walked to her, and she stopped to face him.

“Can we train together?” He asked.

“Did you apologize to Draco?” She asked.

He kept quiet, and she made to walk away but he stopped her.

She turned back to him, and he started walking to Draco.

All attention turned to him as he advanced, and Draco faced him too.

He got to him and stood still, they’re both the same height so they’re looking directly into each other’s eyes.

“Sorry, for the punch” Butter said with difficulty, and JoJo smiled.

He walked back to JoJo.

“I guess we’re cool now”

“Good boy” she replied and stroked his hair.

Students were murmuring as they smiled at each other, Draco was staring intently at them.

“The gym” Butter said and pulled her in.

Immediately they got in, he took her bandaged hands.

“Do they hurt a lot?” He asked worriedly.

“No, I’m as strong as a rock” she replied dramatically, and he laughed shortly.

“Should I be your trainer?” He asked.

“You’re not a senior member” she replied.

“Don’t worry, miss Cindy allowed me, I’m as good as any senior” he winked, and she giggled as he pulled her to the slides.

“I’m sliding?” She said, climbing it gently.

“Yes, let’s see how many times you’ll move your feet in ten minutes” he replied, and JoJo instantly remembered her moment in the forest with Draco.

“LET’S SEE HOW MANY MINUTES YOU’LL SPEND TO CLIMB” Draco’s voice echoed in her ears, and she started smiling obliviously.

“JoJo” Butter called, bringing her back to her senses.

“Huh!” She blinked.

“Start already” he replied.

“Oh!, Sure” she smiled and started sliding immediately he started the watch.

“This is so fun, I’ve never done it before!” She chuckled.

“Get serious” he laughed, watching her.

The band removed from her hair, and her brown hair fell on her back and shoulders.

Butter lost his senses and brains immediately, the stopwatch fell from him as he stared.

Draco was watching from the door, he has been standing there since they started.

“I’ve had enough fresh air” Snow said beside him.

He left the door and went back to his angle.

Snow looked at JoJo and Butter before following him.

5PM★ BUTTER’S UNIT**

“What’s up?, You’ve been smiling crazily since you came back from school, should I start running?” James said teasingly, settling on the couch with a toasted bread in hand.

” I have every reason to smile” Butter replied .

“I see you made up with jojoflash” James smiled, eating from the toast.

“Yeah, it was the hærdest thing I’ve ever tried, saying sorry to that motherf*cker” Butter replied.

“Punching him was really wrong , truth be told” James said.

“You should be on my side, not his own” Butter replied.

“I’m an upholder of Justice, no space for Favouritism, active criminologist!” James said, and Butter hissed, but a large smile covered his face again when he remembered his moment with JoJo at the gym, especially when her hair loosened.

“Gawd, Drake you’re totally mad” he muttered to himself and stood.

“Not madness, it’s love” James replied, and Butter was about to reply when his phone buzzed.

It’s an update in the major group.

He bit his lip hærd, and when he really clicked on the next post, it’s the video.

“Come fast!, We have to be in the front!” Snow pulled JoJo into the crowdy hall, and they started making their way to the front.

“I’ve never watched from the front” JoJo replied happily.

“Then you’ll start today” Snow replied and continued pulling her till they got to the barricades.

“I can’t believe this!, I’m in the front!” JoJo gushed, getting her phone.

“You have lots more to enjoy as my kitten” Snow replied.

“Aww!, I love you Snow!” JoJo hugged her tightly.

“I love you more kitten!” Snow hugged her back.

Sunflowers were watching them from behind.

“Your smiles and happiness will be short-lived” v×rgiπia said.

“Can’t wait…” Cora rolled eyes.

“For our plan to fall in place” Abigail replied.

“It’s another night to listen to the voice of the angels!” The MC shouted.

“Three prettiest guys in Stanford, three most beautiful angels in Cali!”

“Guess the title of the song?” The MC said jovially

👥 Lustre’s face!!!!

“Lustre’s face? How funny” the MC laughed and comported himself before speaking again.

“It’s … KNIGHT IN SHINNING ARMOR!” He shouted

“Knight in shinning.. armor?” JoJo whispered to herself.

“Give it all up for… LOVERBOYZ!!!”

Insane s¢ræms filled up the full hall immediately.

“My muses!!!!” Snow s¢ræmed, positioning her phone camera well as beautiful confetti started raining on stage, red and blue lights shone together with them.

Suddenly, bright lights replaced the blinking ones, bringing the pretty guys to view.

Luke and Walton were facing the crowd, smiling charmingly while blowing k-ses.

” Gosh!, Isn’t Luke so cute?” Snow said.

“Of course” JoJo replied, focusing on Lustre.

Lustre’s back is on the crowd, and his fans wouldn’t stop telling him to face them.

The intro was fast, so the song started early.

LUKE: Whenever you’re around me

Millions of things surround me

Lustre finally faced the crowd, and everyone started going insane immediately, though he’s wearing a mask as usual, but his charms are just unhidden.

“Knight in shining armor” JoJo muttered and tried imagining him as Draco, but she hit her head.

“I must be crazy” she giggled and joined the s¢ræming.

LUSTRE: (Only you)

7:50**

The concert ended after fifteen minutes, and the crowd started departing immediately.

Snow got a message from her housemate in the hostel.

*SNOW I’M DYING, I CAN’T BREATH WELL, I GOT THE ATTACK AGAIN*

Her eyes w¡dened immediately.

“You ok?” JoJo asked.

“I need to go kitten, my housemate needs me!, I’ll see you in school tommorow baby!” Snow replied and gave her a peck before rushing out.

“Hope everything is ok” JoJo muttered worriedly and started walking out alone.

As if planned, it started raining immediately she got out.

“Why so sudden?” She said, standing at the covered balcony.

Her phone rang, and she quickly got it from her pocket, thinking it’s her mum, but it’s Butter.

They actually exchanged numbers earlier at the gym.

“Hey Butter!” She beamed.

“You sound happy” he replied.

“Of course!, I attended Lustre’s concert, I heard his voice again!” She replied happily.

“Cool” he replied.

“Wait .. why the sad voice?, Is something up?” She asked.

“No, I’m just waking up so I’m tired, are you back home?”

“No, I’m stuck in front of the hall without an umbrella or jacket, I think I’ll freeze to death” she replied.

“The rain is heavy!” He said immediately.

“I know, I don’t know when it’s gonna stop” she replied, looking at the torrential downpour.

Butter hung up immediately, and she looked at her phone screen.

“Why?” She said and was about to return it to her pocket when it rang again.

“Who the hell is…

She stopped talking when she saw knight on the screen.

“Draco?” She said and picked without hesitation.

“Hey knight!” She smiled.

“Are you home already?” He asked.

“No, I’m stuck in front of the hall, don’t know what to do and I’m freezing” she replied, rubbing her bare arms.

She’s wearing a armless woolen blouse.

“Stay there” he replied

“Huh?”

“Don’t think of entering the rain” he replied and hung up.

“What’s up with them?, Why are they hanging up on me?” She pouted and pocketed her phone.

She’s the only one there, everyone else left in their cars already.

She went closer to the end of the balcony and stretched her hand to the rain, collecting rainwater with it.

“The coldness reminds me of him” she whispered, smiling cutely as the water continued dropping on her palms.

She was still on it when two cars stopped in front of the hall at a time.

She strained her eyes as the doors opened.

Her eyes w¡dened when Butter came out of the first one, but it w¡dened more when Draco came out of the second.

They both covered their heads with umbrellas as they rushed into the balcony.

She faced them shockingly, looking from one to another.

“I’ll take you home” Butter said.

“Do you want me to take you?” Draco said.

“Huh?” She blinked, staring at the two speechlessly.
